初めてのアパートメントタイプのホテル！
とても快適に連泊できました。


3世代で1部屋の利用しましたが、リビングありのそれぞれのお部屋にドアもあり、トイレも２つ、ドラム式洗濯機、キッチンにお風呂も2つ(1つはシャワーのみ)とても過ごしやすくて良かったです！

共有スペースに子供のフリースペースもあって良かったです！

また利用したいと思えるホテルでした！

I would not recommend this hotel

Not good. Was forced to change rooms in the middle of the night and as a result lost important items. It was left in the room but never found by the cleaning crew. Was then forced to pay for lost items.

私たちもゆっくりと快適に過ごせました。ありがとうございます。ただ、残念だったのは、浴室の清掃が行き届いてなかった事です。オレンジ色でヌルヌルカビが生えそうな箇所がありました。
他は満点でした。

子供連れだと特に、ダイニングテーブルや電子レンジ、お皿や食器を洗う洗剤スポンジなどの設備やアメニティは有難く、ゆっくり滞在することができました。お部屋も清潔感があり、満足でした。

Beautiful room, traditional with tatami mat.great size for our family of 4… towels were changed every day; beds were comfy, room was quiet; staff were very helpful. Microwave and refrigerator were a plus, did not need to use the stove, hot water kettle was useful! Restaurants nearby, close to Ikebukuro Station. Loved our 7 day stay, wished we could stay longer!

My daughter had fever and she was not able to move and get out of bed during the check-out time. The staff are are friendly and very accommodating. They allow us to stay for 2 more hours. Luckily, she felt better after that. So we can return to Canada as scheduled. Thank you Gina and everyone!

The staff were welcoming and friendly — such a nice first stop after our 14-hour flight. The room was incredibly spacious and very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We had a great stay, and it was very convenient to find restaurants nearby.

Would definitely recommend!

My wife, our three teenage kids, and I came from Los Angeles to spend Thanksgiving in Tokyo, and we had a great stay at MIMARU Tokyo Ikebukuro. This type of room is honestly our favorite, plenty of space and super comfortable for a family of five. The location couldn’t be more convenient, with easy access to food, shopping, and transportation.

The staff were incredibly patient, friendly, and really thoughtful with their help, which made our stay even better. We loved the experience so much that we already booked another stay at one of their sister hotels near Tokyo Station. Highly recommended!

We had a really pleasant stay in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment here. While the apartment was quite compact, it is still considered rather spacious by Tokyo standards. The apartment was clean and everything in the apartment worked well -- hot water shower, washer/dryer to do our laundry (though do note the capacity is on the smaller side), microwave oven to heat up our food etc. Communication with the hotel to inform them to accept my luggage delivery was smooth. Walking distance (about 10 mins) from Ikebukuro station (one of the major train stations with many different train lines); on a reactively quiet street. There is a 7-11 and a Family mart nearby (3 mins walk) which was convenient.

Had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. Rooms were clean, staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was good—it was within walking distance to train stations, shopping areas and many restaurants.

We didn't really use the kitchenette but it was very functional. The overall layout was quite homey, and the Pokemon room more than met expectations. It's not just a "tacked on" thing — it's a fully Pokemon-centric room.

Staff was very helpful with luggage, booking an airport trip, and suggesting things to do and places to eat.

This is my second stay in this hotel.
We enjoy our stay at Mimaru Ikebukuro, kids are so happy, rooms are cozy and clean.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
During our stay, there was some Halloween theme mini games for kids to play, they quite enjoy it. ^o^

Helpful staff. Very convenient location with a diverse style of restaurant within 5min’s walk. Ikebukuro station is within 10 min walk. Pokemon room is superb for kids. The amenities is comprehensive and includes a kitchenette. Truly a room feels like home.

From check-in to check-out Mimaru Ikebukuro all exceeds expectations. Located within minutes of Ikebukueo station it is super convenient. There are numerous dining options within walking distance so you will never be hungry. Staff at the hotel are super friendly and able to answer any questions you may have. We will definitely come back to Mimaru whenever we visit Tokyo again.

Restful stay outside the city

If you're looking to stay in Tokyo, outside the hustle and bustle of the main area, consider Mimaru Tokyo Ikebukuro. It's a great location on the corner a few blocks away from the main street of restaurants and about 5 blocks away from the Ikebukruo station, with a Family Mart conveniently a block away.

The staff is welcoming and friendly. They will get you checked in and to your room immediately.

We had a Non Smoking, 4 Twin Beds and 1 Twin Bunk Bed room (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room/kitchenette) and it was very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids (8yo, 5yo). Everything was tidy and clean, and you had all the basic essentials you needed in the kitchenette (mugs, cups, plates, utensils, paper towels, soap, sponge).

We also had a washer/dryer in the room, which made it convenient to do laundry each day!

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was a fantastic experience! The location is perfect, just a short 9-minute walk from the station, making it extremely convenient. There are numerous restaurants nearby, offering a variety of dining options.

The apartment itself was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were also exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.

I had such a great time that I am already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!

Great for family stay. Spacious rooms. Appreciate the separation of toilet and bath area. Abt 8mins walk to entrance of station depending on which line you are taking. The walk from station to mimaru can be quite daunting especially late at night with lots of nightlife along the way. Hsekeeping daily, sheets chg every 3 days, 9 days total clean up. Overall an good option and will choose to stay again.

Suite was very large for Tokyo. Bedroom was small as expected, but there was a sizable living room and 2 bathrooms for 2 bedrooms and 4 adults.
New or recently renovated building provided for an excellent stay.
Very close to the train station, about 5 min walk.

The Japanese Apartment was perfect for my family (2 adults & 2 kids). Having tatami style beds means we didn’t have to worry about the kids falling off the bed. There was enough space for them to play. The property is clean & staff are friendly and helpful. The property is about a 600m walk to Ikebukuro Station (exit C9 has an elevator/lift for those with luggage or a pram). We didn’t spend much time exploring Ikebukuro, but there seems to be plenty of dining options nearby.

The staff and room were very good. The area is slightly far from the station but within walking distance. The walk is through a lane hosting girls bars which might be an issue for some but they don't really bother tourists.
Bunk might be small for 2 kids who are teens and we had to upgrade to the 2 bed room category

Area always feels alive without being too crowded like some of the more touristed areas like Shibuya. Less than 20 min walk away from Sunshine City which among other things has a Pokémon Center.

The rooms are cozy and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and equipped with all electrical appliances.
And there are lots of restaurant around, easy to find good food.
It just take less than 10 mins walk to metro/JR station.

The five members of my family enjoyed the stay overall, but the worst thing was the heaters in each room were stink we couldn't even turn them on even though it was a bit cold at night. A team came to clean them on the day we leave the hotel. I bet there were many complaints about it. Other than that, it is a good place for a big family to stay. It's a bit of a walk to any subway stations.

We stayed in the City View 2-bedroom suite. The view of the city was great at night. The layout of the room especially the hallway entrance was a bit tight. The washer/dryer combo was right across from the shower room so you couldn’t have both doors open without hitting each other. The kitchen was also in the hallway. I would’ve preferred a different layout. The mattresses were a bit firm but the duvet was comfy. There weren’t any nightstands in the bedrooms for my husband to put his cpap machine on and very few outlets to plug our devices in. The shower pressure was awesome. The best shower I had while in Japan. I did not like the washer/dryer unit. It took over 6 hours to do one load. There was also a warning sign that if the dryer overheats, the door would auto-lock which meant that you could not remove your clothes until it cooled down. The sign said to allow for 10-20 minutes but it took well over an hour. I learned to just do a load before we left for the day and when we got back at night. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is near the red light district but we didn’t find it bothersome and the area felt safe. The train station is about a 10 minute walk and there are plenty of restaurants, shopping, and combinis nearby.

방은 좋았어요, 넓고, 테이블도있고, 다른 리뷰를 보면 아이들과 좋다고해서 갔는데요. 여긴 아이들보다 친구들과 갈수있는곳 같아요. 호텔은 좋은데 주변이 밤에 돌아다니기 좋은곳은 아니었습니다. 서비스는 너무 좋았어요. 영어잘하는 스텝들이 많아서 편했습니다!

It was amazing for families but you have to remember you are not at a hotel kind of hotel.

If you expect hotel services 24/7, this is not for you.

But if you love space and cook your own meal and easy going, this is the best.

We love the location! A little bit away from shops but still close enough! Most of all, everywhere around is fooooooooood!

Amazing stay
