大阪マラソンの宿泊先として利用しました。
土、日の２泊をしました。
価格がリーズナブルであったため、訪れるまでは不安がありましたが、綺麗な外観・内観のホテルでした。
夜は少し騒がしい時間帯もありましたが、大きく気になるほどではありませんでした。
場所柄、早朝の道路には昨晩の酔っ払いのアレが散見されますが、それはホテルとは関係がなく、仕方がありません。
もし、来年も走ることがあれば、間違いなくこちらを予約先に選ぶと思います。

とても快適に過ごせました

地下鉄心斎橋駅から、徒歩５分以内でアクセスできるので便利です。大丸のデパ地下でご飯を買ったり、周囲に飲食店やドラッグストアもあります。

フロントでボトルを借りて、ラウンジエリア奥のウォーターサーバーからお水は補給し放題、14キロまでキャパのある最新のドラム式洗濯機と乾燥機が4台ずつあり、スマホから利用状況と残り時間もリアルタイムで確認できるのでとても便利でした。お部屋によると思いますが、デスクエリアがないに等しいので、ビジネスというより観光客向けという印象でした。

スタッフの方たちの感じもよく、快適な滞在になりました。日本人は私だけ？というくらいインターナショナルな宿泊客で溢れています。朝食ビュッフェも外国人観光客を意識した内容でした。野菜類も豊富で連泊しても飽きが来ないような工夫を感じました。

これで、ラウンジエリアの椅子が、キャンプ用の折り畳み型の頼りない椅子ではなく、座り心地の良いソファやフカフカした椅子にコーヒーテーブルが置いてあるような空間であったのならばもっと素敵だと思います。今のところあの広いライブラリー？空間、もったいないと思いました。

あと、電子レンジを1台でも、ラウンジエリアまたはウォーターサーバーのエリアに置いてあれば完璧です。もしかしたら、宿泊客が自由に使える電子レンジがあり私が見逃していただけかもしれませんが。私の部屋はシャワーブースのみでしたが、広々しており、天井も高く、レインシャワーもあったのでバスタブがないことは気になりませんでした。

総括としては、とても快適に気持ちよく過ごせるホテルでしたので、観光目的の際にはぜひまた利用したいと思います。

Great Hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Hotel rooms are clean and nicely designed. Yes, the windows cannot be opened and are blurred, but that was not an issue. Most of the time we were exploring the city ;) Hotel ist equipped with a laundry and dryer room, four machines for washing, four to dry. next to the machines is coin changer (absolutely lifesaving!) and a water dispenser as well as a vending machine. Hotel room has a phone for live tracking the machines times and occupancy. Free coffee and tee as well. nice chill out area in front of the laundry rooms with additional toilets. area is nice and a short walking distance to the main places. we loved it here and would choose again when visiting Osaka! thank you!

One of the best secret hotel in Shinsaibashi area. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Location is unbeatable. Dotombori, Namba are easy to navigate (5 mins max in my pace). Close to metro and if you are fond of luxury department stores 2 mins max to Hermes then it is goes on and on; Gucci, Chanel etc. The breakfast is delicious and lots of options. The hotel is spotless and the room is very quiet and clean with enough space to move around. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely come back in a couple of months. Thank you hotel the flag staff.

Great location right in the heart of Shinsaibashisuji the shopping centre. The hotel is very popular amongst foreigners and family, which also comes with a lot of noise. People talk very loudly in the hotel corridor and chat with room doors open. The staff is very great they try to remind guests about this. The room is very clean and big compare to other hotels. The only design flaw is that the bedhead ledge is NOT great - I heard the vibration of my neighbours phone throughout the night as they have put their phones on the ledge, the buzz sounds transpire through the walls. I had a really bad sleep.

The room layout was good for our family of 4 (2 teenage kids). Bathroom was a great size and beds comfortable with options for room service daily. The breakfast was a hit with both boys who loved coming down for morning and enjoying the variety.
The service was excellent, staff was well trained and ability to speak English was helpful for our daily trips.
Location is in the heart of Osaka shopping, foods and multiple train stations.

We booked the double deluxe room, it’s very spacious with a big window. Although our room is on the 3rd floor close to the elevator and the street, the room is quiet at night, allow us to get some quality rest. The location is perfect, it’s minutes away from major department stores and busy streets like shinsaibashi. Highly recommend!

Still the best place to stay in Osaka, my 6th or 7th stay in 6 years now. Off the chain value. I cannot believe this place used to do rooms in the low $100's cdn, per night.

The service is fantastically attentive and helpful without being stuff or intrusive. Location is the best in Osaka, and specifically Namba. A 8 minute walk to Dotonbori, so right in the heart of the action, but far enough to be away from the unwanted chaos, foot traffic and noise.

I might be Hotel the Flag's biggest fan. I have gotten my two travel buddies to make the Flag their frequent go to hotel as well. I will be back in the Spring or by fall/winter of 2026 at the latest.

Spacious family room with two proper double beds and plenty of play space for our kids. Huge bathroom with deep tub and separate shower – a rarity in Japan.

Laundry was a lifesaver: 4 washers + 4 fast, efficient dryers (never waited once).

Breakfast was excellent, great pastries and fruit. Kids ate happily every day.

Perfect location: 3-minute walk to Shinsaibashi station and a covered arcade straight to Namba – easy with little ones, rain or shine.

Clean, quiet, super kid-friendly staff. Hands-down our favorite Osaka hotel for families. Already planning to return!

The Flag is truly exceptional. Its proximity to Dotonbori and a subway station is highly convenient, and the surrounding neighborhood offers a vibrant atmosphere with excellent shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is particularly noteworthy, featuring comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms, and an aesthetically pleasing design. Complimentary coffee, water, and amenities are also provided. Furthermore, the staff demonstrated outstanding service throughout our entire stay. We are quite sad to depart, and we wholeheartedly recommend this establishment when visiting Osaka.

It was a great hotel, even if the room was small, the set up was amazing. The shower in the bathroom was incredible! Staff was friendly, and even though the area outside had a lot of nightlife, there was good security to get into the building. My only complaint about the hotel would be that because of the heavy night life, we could hear music at 4am, and it would be a struggle sleeping.

Nice, clean rooms. English speaking staff. Breakfast buffet was great at 2,000 yen per person, little pricey but really good. Easy walk to dotonbori and several train stations. Would definitely recommend.

this hotel is a perfect little spot for those who want to explore osaka, it's a walkable distance from the Dotonbori and the Shinsaibashi main street. The facilities are super clean and well organized. we loved that the hotel has a coin washer/dryer that are in excellent conditions, and the staff are amazingly friendly.

I loved this hotel.

It was easy to get there from Shin-Osaka and was walking distance from the main shopping area in Shinsaibashi. It was close to a few stations depending on where you wanted to go. There are loads of places to eat in the vicinity. There was an Ichiran branch 2 mins away and a few convenience stores as well.
The staff were nice and able to assist me with any queries. They held my cabin bag on the day of my arrival while I went sightseeing. They even put my luggage in my room before I came back to check-in.
They had laundry facilities but the washer (¥500) was separate from the dryer (¥100 per 8-10 mins).
My hotel room was clean and spacious and it had a rainfall shower.
I was able to forward my luggage here from another hotel and forward onwards as well.


I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at HOTEL THE FLAG were excellent…always professional, friendly, and so helpful! Our room was nice and clean, as were the community facilities . We didn’t use the washer and dryer but it was nice to know they were available. The hotel is situated in a great location. Walkable to Dotanbori, restaurants, and shopping malls galore! I would stay here again.

Superb little hotel on the edge of Dotonbori

From the first welcome to our departure, we loved staying at The Flag. Centrally located, but just on the edge enough of Dotonbori to mean you always get a quiet night's sleep, everything was great, from the bed, to the breakfast, the shower to the toiletries. We simply loved it and would definitely stay again if we were in osaka.
