  This location is at a peaceful part of Kyoto. The train nearby wasn't too loud contrary to other reviews. In the mornings, it does get very bright in the bedroom though. Some parts of the building was also a bit dustyHowever, it is very spacious for 2 people. The washing machine and dryer was also very convenient and a life saver at times. The amenities provided were also very good.

  I wanted a traditional Japanese experience for my birthday and this was all around fantastic! My only fault was arriving late in winter and it took awhile for the heating to warm up the place (I'm from a tropical climate so it's much colder here for me).

  Would stay again. Very clean. Heater worked well as our stay was in the middle of winter. I don’t think insulation is a thing in Japan.

  It's not like what we can see on the pictures.The door of bathroom has some problems, and their service is not so quick as other hotels.
