  The first floor (that had two beds, and space for 2 extra mattresses) had a very strong moldy and musty odor, which made it extremely uncomfortable to stay and sleep in. A residence should be a clean and pleasant environment, but the smell here was overwhelming. While I understand that hot and humid weather can contribute to this issue, the odor was so severe that it was difficult to breathe at times.Also, when we checked in, the toilet would not flush for several hours. My family had to hold it in and eventually leave the property just to use a restroom elsewhere. Although someone eventually came and fixed the problem a few hours later, it caused a great deal of inconvenience and frustration.I do want to acknowledge that the customer service staff were polite and friendly, and they did their best to help. However, the condition of the property significantly impacted our stay.Unfortunately, because of these issues, I would not recommend this property to anyone, and I do not think I would ever stay here again.

  Thank you very much for staying with us.We sincerely apologize for the discomfort and inconvenience you experienced during your stay.Regarding the odor in the room on the first floor, our staff inspected the room after receiving your feedback but were unable to detect any unusual smell. However, we take your concerns very seriously, and as a precautionary measure, we carried out ozone deodorization treatment. We will continue working to maintain a more comfortable environment for all our guests.We also sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the toilet being unavailable at the time of check-in. The issue was resolved by resetting the power. We apologize for keeping you and your family waiting until the matter was resolved and for any inconvenience this caused.To prevent similar issues from occurring in the future, we will further strengthen our pre-check-in inspections, including more thorough checks of equipment conditions and battery levels.We sincerely appreciate your valuable feedback and will continue to make efforts to improve our facility management and services.Thank you again for taking the time to share your comments.

  This was one of my best experiences traveling to Kyoto. The staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. All the amenities were conveniently located, and we easily found everything we needed.We were traveling with our 1-year-old child, and having an entire house to ourselves—including space to store a stroller, a tatami room, and a proper bathroom—made our trip especially comfortable and enjoyable.
