また来たくなる場所

夫婦で縄文杉トレッキングするのに2泊3日お世話になりました。お部屋に入ると清潔感のある部屋にハイビスカスやタンカンジュースを用意していただいた上に、周辺情報なども詳しく教えていただきました。テラスからの海、夜の星空、何より温かいオーナーご夫婦との会話が楽しかったです。また屋久島に来たらこちらにお世話になりたいと思います。

今回ファミリーで滞在しましたが、レンタカーが目の前にとめられて、早朝出発のトレッキングにはとても便利でした。
オーナー、スタッフさんの丁度良い距離感のサービスが居心地良く、対応も親切です。
長く滞在したくなるコテージでした。

戸建て感覚のかわいいコテージ

とてもリラックスして滞在できました。
空港からは20分ほど走りますが、縄文杉や西部林道に近くなります。
室内は清潔で小さなキッチンもあり、デッキからは海が一望できます。
オーナー様ご夫妻の温かいお気遣いに癒されました。島の情報もとても役立ちました。
次回は沢登りにトライしたいです。

最高な旅と癒しの凝縮(^^)

チェックインの時からニコニコお出迎えしてくださってその上ジュースとムースまでも用意してくださり移動中の疲れが一気に吹っ飛びました！！
宿泊地周辺の美味しい食べ物屋さんや屋久島での遊び方のアドバイスや説明などしていただきそのおかげで何も予定を立てていなかったのですが予定がパンパンになり遊びくたびれるまで遊び尽くしました！！
アドバイスがあったから屋久島をとても堪能できました！！
今年中か来年にもう一度行きたいと思い考えています！！
とにかく！！

素敵なご夫婦が迎えてくれます

4月に2泊で滞在しました、チェックインの時間、滞在について、おすすめのプランなど丁寧に教えてくださいました。Welcomeドリンクも最高に美味しかったです！そして手作りスイーツも美味しくておかわりしたいくらいでした！！ホストのご夫婦がとても優しくて、安心することができました。お部屋も広々として清潔で、快適です。
バルコニーにある露天風呂も毎晩楽しみに入りました。満天の星空を眺めて、海の音を聞きながらの露天風呂は最高です！！是非屋久島へ訪れる際にはこちらおすすめです。

快適でした。

帰宅後のデザートや、冷房を入れておいてくれたり、日替わりで花を替えてくれていたりの、細かい気配りが感じられるお宿でした。
機会があればまた利用させて頂きたいです。

Very humble & good english speaker owner. The place is not far from anbo port(10mins) and very easy to drive here. If you are going for jumonguji trek this place is perfect for you. In the end of the trek you can enjoy outdoor hot-tub + hotel owner surprise gift!!! The owner make 10/10 dessert

The owner went above and beyond. Had wild flowers on the bed when we arrived and then put a daily local treat in the fridge every day after they came in to clean. She even called a restaurant when we arrived late so that we had somewhere to go eat. Can say enough about this experience on a very small local island. Highly recommend.

Gerne wieder

Gemütliches Zimmer mit Blick auf den Ozean. Sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Host. Spricht gut englisch und hat verschiedene Tips als Booklet vorbereitet. Sehr zuvorkommend mit Welcome-Drink und Mini-Dessert jeden Abend nach den Wanderungen im Kühlschrank.

We stayed in one of the bigger rooms with the outdoor bath. Only fits one at a time for adults but the deck and upper deck are beautiful. Room is overall clean, big and kitchen was great considering the island food opens late and closes early. A car is needed to access and anyone visiting Yakushima needs a rental car. I don't think it is possible to enjoy it as much without one after being there. The staff and owners are wonderful people and really treat their guests like gold. The tankan juice is amazing and they served us some handmade snacks/juice that is too die for. I speak japanese so no language barrier however, they provide enough translated information and handmade catalogs with english/japanese for the whole island.

設備 ホスピタリティ共に最高のお宿でした。立地に関してはおそらくレンタカーなどがないと厳しいでしょうが、レンタカーさえあればそれ以上に素晴らしい接客を受けることができます。海を眺めながらの五右衛門風呂、ウェルカムドリンクとしていただいたタンカンジュースなどとても手厚いサービスを受けましたがそれ以上にスタッフの方々の大変暖かい接客に感銘を受けました。とにかく明るく、優しく丁寧に接していただきました。忘れられない思い出をつくれて本当に嬉しく思います。また屋久島に行く機会があったら次も利用したく思います。他の方にもおススメできる素晴らしい宿でした。

For nutrition / health reason, we need a kitchen to cook meals our way, this property offers a simple kitchenette.
The most impressive part of the property is the hosts who care for their property deeply, and give the best maintenance to the property. The 2nd impression is the cleanness- immaculate! They also provided daily fresh flowers, and small desert. The ocean view is fantastic.
We wish the hosts upgrade the kitchen heating unit with something like a portable IH EM heating unit, which is only less than 5000 yen, so it can heat up quickly without waiting forever on the existing electric unit, and again waiting forever to let it cool down. There isn't any warning sign to the still hot unit, which makes it potentially unsafe, especially for children around. Another wish is to replace the bed sheets with new ones. The existing ones are so thin, we can see through. The last wish is to provide a little larger bath towels. Their size is almost the same as face towel.
Overall, we enjoyed the 4 night stay.

Get a car to travel the Island from here.

Make sure you have a car for transportation when you stay here. The location is away from amenities like restaurants and groceries but the location is convenient. Don't rely on buses to get you where you want - they don't run often. I wish the owners had mentioned that you need to bring all of your food because there are no restaurants (except one with only a few days of service), food stores or other conveniences nearby. If you have a car, great, if not, stay in one of the villages that provides more. It's very quiet and nothing going on in the area, if you are into having a drink or dinner and to meet other travelers after a long day out for hikes and swims. Very little English spoken but the hosts are kind and somewhat helpful. It's a pretty area and all things considered, they help as much as possible.

It is a very nice cottage; got everything you need with fresh flower decoration every corner. The host is a nice couple; they prepared welcome drink for our arrival and dessert for our dinner. Cottage itself is comfortable; good enough space for 4 and clean, of course. Although not able to access to the seaside, the terrace got great ocean view. Kitchen is net type, good for basic cooking. Only point that might need improvement is direction guide to the premise. The hotel is located just at the side of the road with big sign, which is not difficult to find. However, since the location was not registered at GPS, we actually quite worried if could find it as we arrived in the dark. It would have been better if the host can provide a map to show approx distance from the nearest town from both direction. Other than that, we had great time staying in the cottage.

A home away from home

It’s a wooden cottage with a loft. Two single beds in the studio and two futons in the loft. It is a laddar to reach the loft, so not suitable for everyone. The balcony is lovely and the host homemades fruit desserts for us with the fruits grow in their garden. We were lucky that the weather cooperated, no rain, during our 4 nights stay. Highly recommended.

Very nice place best attention ever

The place is very nice and comfortable. The host are super kind and helpful, exquisite attention and love in everything they offer.
I would highly recomend the Cottage to people costing the island. Is very close to Anbo and easy driving to Miyanoura. Don't miss it!

舒适的木屋

只有四个房间的安静木屋，如果二楼睡人的话，最多可以住四个人。店主夫妇相当友善，提供了很多旅行信息的支持。坐公车去的话，车站是84号ホトー川，下车向南走一百米就是。阳台冲着海，四号房间还有一个在阳台上看海的浴缸。每天下午店主会送保温箱的甜品来，两天下午各换了一种，都是由当地出产的水果制成。可以预约早饭或登山便当，600日元一份相当大一份。屋里有电炉和炒锅煮锅，一套盘子，抹布，油盐酱油等调料，我们做了两餐饭，从超市买肉菜回来做就行。火虽然不大，煮或煎都足够了。洗澡水很舒服，洗澡痛快！就是Wi-Fi因为使用ADSL，网速比较慢不到1M。下次来屋久岛还会选这里，能自己开车就好了。从安房打车回来要2500日元，着实有点远。
老板娘说英文，介绍了很多旅行信息给我们。

Amazing hospitality!

Absolutely loved everything about this cottage. The kind staff greeted us with fresh juice and even brought homemade dessert the next day. The cottage is a perfect size with amenities included so you can cook a light meal and eat outside on the balcony with a beautiful ocean view. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to this gorgeous island!

Amazing Location/Amazing Host/Amazing Cottage

This place is amazing! The host are some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. The cottage has an incredible view of the ocean. Its very spacious. It has great AC. Can easily fit 3 or 4 people in each cottage. Shower is great too. I would highly recommend renting a car and driving around the Island. This place is a must stay. Its such a good value.

Most Remarkable and Gracious Hosts

Most remarkable and gracious hosts. No detail is spared, from fresh hibiscus flowers spread all over the room to daily homemade delicious desserts. Before our hike in the forest, they provided us with rain coats because we did not bring them on the trip. Beautiful setting with a sea view in the distance. Only a place to sleep at night.

The owner is very nice and helpful. They are very sweet and made deserts for us. However, there is not much services at all. It is much too pricey when consider to have "no service". No meals are provided. You can't even choose to eat at the property because they don't provide any meals. And it is very difficult to find breakfast places on this huge island. Nearly all of the cafe are not opened until 11 in the morning.

不自駕也能住，出入坐巴士亦方便

整體好好，乾淨整潔，屋很大，露台風景很美，圖文相符，有¥100洗衣服務，¥400乾衣服務，¥500島內行李速遞服務。每天都有屋主親自做的甜品吃，又美又好吃，非常有水準，及在屋內放上鮮花，感覺屋主很用心經營。
廚房只得一個電子爐，只能煮簡單膳食，周邊只有一間不定休的咖哩屋（好好味）及一間雪糕屋，建議自備簡單食材或訂購便當¥500-800。
我們一行四人分住2間屋，是少數坐巴士的旅客，雖然一小時得一班車，每次都能順利搭上，坐巴士去各景點（繩文杉、白谷雲水峽、平內海溫泉、大川瀑布等）都很方便。
想有多點私人空間及試獨立屋生活，這裡是不二之選！

Seaside accomodation with excellent view

Very friendly and accomodating host. Provided very useful information for the 10-hour hike at Jomon-sugi. The cottage itself is very well maintained, with a beautiful patio overlooking the sea. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay in Yakushima!

We stayed at Morino Fairy for 6nights and loved it. Yakushima is a fascinating island with beautiful forests, native Yaku deer and monkeys as well as natural onsens. It was really nice to be able to come home to a comfortable and warm lodge. The hosts were really helpful too and left us really delicious desserts made from local produce. If you are going to Yakushima- stay here!!

Best place to stay in Yakushima

We spent two nights at Mori no fairy. It’s the perfect place to stay in Yakushima! The cottage was really cozy and quite roomy. It was immaculate and nicely decorated with fresh flowers every day. The owners were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us. They prepared the cottage even though we arrived way earlier than the official check-in time. They told us all we needed to know about Yakushima and helped us plan day trips, make reservations etc. One evening we became late while having dinner and could not find a cab. The restaurant called the hotel and they came immediately to pick us up. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing hospitality, perfect home, ocean views

These 4 cottages are so lovely and comfortable. The building itself is wonderfully built exposed cedar and very big compared to staying in a hotel. There's easy room for 2 beds, a couch/table/sitting area, small stove and sink, fridge. The bathroom has a deep tub (yay Japan!) and separate closet area. In addition there is a loft so could be suitable for a family or more travelers. The lanai had a lovely view of the ocean and well kept gardens. Ok but the best part are the owners/hosts. A charming family who bring you afternoon tea/coffee/homemade mousse with local fruit jams, fresh flower arrangements each day, and are just so kind. Their breakfast service was also worth every penny. It was a true delight to stay here and as others say we wished we could stay longer. Recommended to everyone. It was definitely easier with a car. For those who normally drive on the right, don't worry. It's quite easy as the speed limit in yakushima is only 40-50 km!!!

Cozy cottages

The cottage is spacious, cozy and very clean and comes with a terrace (sea view). The owners are friendly and helpful. We've liked their surprises (like the desserts at the afternoon or the bouquet of flowers). So, we definitely would recommend this place.

The owners of these cottages were extremely welcoming. They greeted us with freshly squeezed juice and fresh flowers in the room grown in their garden. They spoke basic English and made our stay very comfortable.
