Wonderful Hotel, possibly Tokyo best hotel

Very conveniently located in the heart of town. So close to everything. Easy to travel. The hotel itself is very nice and equipped with everything that you might needs, wonderful restaurants, especially.
I was in need of an adapter to plug in my water floss, which needs a round-pin socket. I could not find it anywhere in many stores, but it was provided in my room in the hotel. It seems that the hotel anticipates the needs of guests.
Nonetheless, the only complaint I might have is, I tried to make a reservation for a (paid) buffet breakfast / Brunch at the hotel restaurants but none was avaialble. I wish that the hotel provides special reservation for hotel guests.

羽田空港から高速バスで直行でき、また新宿駅も地上、地下道のどちらも徒歩10-20分程、地下鉄の東京都庁駅も直ぐ近くにあり便利。
ホテルの立地は、新宿駅の西側、東京都庁の正面にあり、周辺は静かで綺麗な雰囲気。ホテル内のレストランも豊富で美味しく良かった。

チェックインが大変遅くなり、サプライズケーキも部屋まで搬送が無理とお聞きしていたのですが、持ってきていただけたことに驚きましました。スタッフの方の対応に感謝しています。
しかし、朝食にビュッフェを選び大変種類も豊富で美味しくいただいていたのですが、終了間際だったこともありますが食べている横で掃除をされたことがとても残念でした。

The handling of the billing at the hotel front desk was also the worst; they made mistakes in the billing three times. I had a very bad experience at the All-Day Dining restaurant, Jurin, in Keio Plaza Hotel. The quality of the meat in the course meal was terrible and inedible. Given that this is a hotel with history and tradition, I expect a much more reliable level of service."

宿泊者のニーズに寄り添うサービスを提供する宿。

今回は高齢の母のお誕生日祝い記念で宿泊をしました。足が不便なことを伝えたところ、エレベーターに近い客室、車いすや入浴の補助椅子、滑り止めマット等々、ご用意を頂いた。フロントで車いすをピックアップした際に、近くにいたスタッフの方が地下の駐車場まで付き添って、チェックインまでご案内くださいました。

客室は広々として、清潔で快適でした。開放感のある景色、家族一同素敵な宿泊を体験させていただきました。

電子レンジがないのがやや不便でした。冷蔵庫の冷え方が少し足りないかも。部屋は広くて使い心地は良いです。部屋数が多いためか、チェックインが時間かかりました。

乳児連れの宿泊で概ね満足しました。

チェックイン時にアップグレードして頂けており、部屋も広くベビーカーの圧迫感も感じないリラックス出来る広さで快適でした。
ベビーベッドも予約時にリクエストしてあったので準備されていましたし、子供用のスリッパやミニタオル、歯ブラシセットも用意されてあり嬉しかったです。
また、ベビーベッドに子供用のバスタオル、フェイスタオルが個別に用意されており、子供のバスタイムが普段の段取りと違う中で、保護者に視覚的に分かりやすく前もって用意されているだけで慌てずにケアが出来ました。本当に助かりました。他のホテルでは、ベビーベッドのみの用意でしたので、ベビー連れに配慮が行き届いているホテルだと思います。
建築から時間が経ったなりの内装かと思いましたが、改装で古さはほとんど感じませんでしたが、2点だけ気になった箇所がありました。
洗面台の蛇口が握り込んで回すのがとても堅く、節水の面でも流しっぱなしで使わずにいるので、石鹸が付いた手で回すのは難儀しました。高齢者や手首を傷めている人には辛いと思います。
ティッシュの置き場が洗面台と壁を挟んだ鏡台の近い2箇所のみで、居室部分には無かったので、設置済みの2箇所に添えて予備を置いておくなら、予備をナイトテーブルとメインテーブルに分けて置くか、設置場所を俯瞰で正方形のいずれかの点上なら分かりやすく良かったと思いました。

This was our fourth stay at Keio Plaza, and we’ve already booked our next trip in December—that probably says it all!

We love the location. It’s right by Shinjuku, so we can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and nightlife, but it’s not smack in the middle of the noise and chaos. It’s the perfect balance. Plus, having the limousine bus stop right at the hotel makes getting to and from Haneda Airport super easy and stress-free.

But honestly, what keeps bringing us back is the people. The Premier Lounge staff are the absolute best. Every time we walk in—whether for afternoon tea or evening cocktails—we’re greeted with the warmest smiles. They make us feel like family, not just hotel guests. That kind of welcome is rare, and we treasure it every single time.

Breakfast at Jurin and Glass Court has also become part of our routine. Great variety, fresh food, and a relaxed atmosphere—it’s the best way to start our day in Tokyo.

Keio Plaza isn’t just a hotel for us anymore—it really feels like our home away from home in Tokyo. We can’t wait to be back in December!

This is 10/10 rating for the hotel! They provide all the toiletries you need everyday during trip which is so friendly nowadays as many hotels only provide limited toiletries on request. The 47floor provides free drinks and relax space that is a wonderful experience after a hectic day. Hotel staff are very polite and friendly. I will return to this hotel if i go to Tokyo again. Highly recommend!

Konumu çok güzeldi. İki sokak sonra Shinjiku'dasınız. Metroya yakın mı diye düşünmeye gerek yok. Japonya'da her otel metroya yakın. Metroya her yerden çıkışı var. Kahvaltısı çok iyi. Kahvaltı 10:00da bitiyor ama 9.30'dan sonra içeri almıyorlar kimseyi. Daha sonra başka bir kahvaltı alanına yönlendiriyorlar. Orası da genel olarak iyi. Personel iyi. Odaları geniş. Banyo ve tuvaletler iyi. İnanılmaz keyif aldığımız bir geziydi ve otelin bunda yeri büyüktü.

Overall it was an okay experience. The room was clean, which I appreciated, but there was a very strong chemical smell that didn’t go away even with the air conditioning running the entire time.
The rooms are quite small, and the beds aren’t very comfortable if you're sharing with someone else. They feel more suitable for a single sleeper.

One thing I do recommend is adding breakfast to your stay. The breakfast offered through the hotel’s restaurants has a great variety of delicious options and is definitely worth it.

Comfortable and great views

We had views of the city and Mt Fuji. They stay was very comfortable. 3 adults stayed in this room. Myself, husband and son. We gad a king bed and they set up another “twin” bed that was more like a full size. The building across the street had a cool light show projected on it and the breakfast buffet was great!

We stayed at a few hotels in Tokyo, but this one was a last-minute booking — and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The service from all the staff was outstanding, especially Krishna at the front desk, who helped us with directions to the train station, recommended great places nearby, and gave us a helpful introduction to the hotel amenities.

It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re traveling with kids and looking for a quiet and peaceful environment. Easily the best place to stay in Shinjuku!

The hotel was fantastic. Great location, very clean, and convenient features like a 7-eleven in the hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. My only complaints were that the pool was not open for the season until the very last day of our week there. I don’t remember this being noted on the Expedia site when I booked, but this was disappointing. The other minor gripe was that we could not order some items like pizza and burgers from the sky lounge to our room, nor would they let us order ‘takeaway’. In other words, if you wanted pizza or a burger you had to eat it in the restaurant. This was the only restaurant in the hotel that had these options, so that was a little inconvenient. (Of course we enjoyed Japanese food for the majority of our stay, but I just need pizza or a burger ;). Overall a wonderful stay.

Top notch comfort and service. In a quiet area, but walkable to all the action in Shinjuku, including Shinjuku station. Limo buses from the airports will also pick up and drop off at this hotel. The restaurants at the hotel are also excellent.

We got there very early in the morning. Room wasn't supposed to be ready till 3:00 p.m. as it was previously communicated. Love the fact that they have a dedicated change room for people to change Etc and explore the city. The Steve was fantastic the location is a great very close to the train station for easy commute. Less than 10 minute walk to a busy area with tons of restaurant. Lounge on the 47th floor is fantastic if you have access to it we did. The only feedback I had was we wish the pool was open. It was super hot in Japan and I still don't understand why the pool is open after august. That's a facility my family would have definitely used.

This is a. Hotel that has been around for a long time and As a hotel diva, I was prepared to stay in a room that would be outdated. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how well maintained and clean the rooms were. We were on the 34th floor and the rooms were clean and in excellent condition. Plenty of amenities in the room. The gym was adequate and the pool looked great. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores around the neighborhood. Quick walk to the train station and the hustle and bustle that is shinjuku. But away from kabukicho so you don’t get the night life crowd around you. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect hotel for a Tokyo vacation

Very nice hotel, with a high service level. Work great as the base for our week long stay in Tokyo. Short walking distance to two stations. Book a room with lounge acces and you get great view of Tokyo and the nightly lightshow on the Metropolitan building.

Great location, very clean, and most of the staff are super helpful and professional.
However, we had a disappointing experience with one front desk employee — a man who mentioned he was born in a Western country and has lived in Tokyo for 23 years. He came across as rude and dismissive when we inquired about a room upgrade and late checkout, benefits we expected as Expedia Gold members. He told us, in a very blunt manner, that “whatever Expedia promised is between Expedia and the customer,” and that the hotel is not responsible for honoring it.

Muy buena experiencia en el Keio Plaza Tokyo Hotel. La propiedad está en una excelente zona, donde hay muchas tiendas y restaurantes cerca, además de que está a unas cuadras de la estación de tren Shinjuku. Aunque el hotel no es nuevo, lo mantienen impecable, además de que el desayuno buffet estuvo genial. El personal del hotel siempre muy amable y atento, brindándonos ayuda en todo momento. SI regreso a Tokio, no dudaría en volverme a hospedar en el Keio Plaza Hotel.

excellent property. Exceptional service from the staff. Only area that could be improved is the laundromat. Quite a hike from our room to the laundromat, and each time to find all machines are busy. Five attempts to use, orally ended in failure. However, our stay was exceptional and this did not ruin it at all. The staff, their behaviour & their professionalism made the stay a great one.

I had a great stay at Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku! The room had an incredible view of Mt. Fuji (on clear days) and we could also see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building’s light show at night, which was such a cool bonus.

The location is super convenient — really close to metro lines, tons of shopping, and all the nightlife Shinjuku has to offer. It made getting around and exploring Tokyo really easy.

Breakfast was excellent with a nice mix of Japanese and Western options. Whether you’re into traditional Japanese breakfast or prefer something more familiar like eggs and toast, they’ve got you covered.

The staff were also amazing — really friendly and helpful the whole time. You can tell they take pride in their service.

Definitely planning to stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo. Highly recommend it!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Keio Plaza Hotel. It was in a very convenient location with direct access to Shinjuku station via underground passage and in close proximity to the Central Shopping Area. It also gave us a clear view of the light show on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. However, there were a few minor issues with the room. Although we specifically requested for a non-smoking room, the room slightly smelled like smoke throughout our two night stay. The blanket and bed sheets were also very thin and slid off very easily.

체크인 할때부터 기분이 좋아지게 만드는 호텔이었다. 직원분이 유창한 한국어를 구사하시고 아주 꼼꼼하게 우리들의 필요한것을 챙겨주는데 놀라웠다. 신주쿠에서 이만한 크기의 객실과 세세한 어메니티, 더할나위없는위치를 가진 호텔은 아마 드물지 싶다. 다음에도 신주쿠에오면 우린 당연히 이 호텔에 머물것이라고 예상한다.

Excellent, beautiful, high end property.. my only teeny tiny complaint is the laundromat.. there are only 4 machines and they were occupied a great deal during our trip… but, outside of that, which is outside the hotels control, I will stay at this property every single time in Tokyo!!

Flexible and good price for the room. Very clean and modern, awesome view. The Sky Plaza is also one of the absolute best features. It has amazing views of the city, but is more comfortable to spend time in than other observation decks.

El Keio Plaza Hotel es una excelente propiedad ya que cuenta con una gran ubicacion en el corazón de la zona de Shinjuku. El Hotel tiene un Lobby muy amplio y bonito, varios restaurantes e inclusive tiendas de conveniencia. Los cuartos tenían buen tamaño y contaban con todo lo necesario para disfrutar unos dias en Tokio. Sin embargo, las habitaciones requiere remodelar para cumplir con los estándares que ofrecen.

The entire staff was top notch. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping to the restaurant workers and masseuse was excellent. Hats of to the bakers in particular, I loved the pastries! When I visit again, I would be happy to stay at the Keio Plaza!
