何度も利用しているのですが、外国人の宿泊者が増えてスタッフも外国人が増えたせいかサービスの質が下がっている気がします。
チェックイン、チェックアウトじの丁寧さが落ちていたり、朝の清掃時に大声でスタッフが喋っていたりというのが気がついたところです。

終電を逃してしまい、急遽泊まることに。京成上野駅から徒歩2分で、疲れた身体にはとてもありがたい距離でした。一万円以下で泊まれるのに高級感ただよう館内はとても気持ちがあがりました。menuというフードデリバリーも使用できます。防犯上のため、エントランスまで撮りに行くことが前提ですが、とても良いシステムでした。一歳半の息子と一緒に泊まったのですが、めんだこの小さな浮き輪をプレゼントしてくださり、子供にも優しいホテルだなぁと思いました。

ホテル自体はとても清潔でした。
スタッフさんの対応についてはチェックインとチェックアウト、部屋からフロントへの電話応対はとても丁寧でしたが外出の際に荷物預かりを頼んだところ、普段はあまり依頼する利用者がいないのか手続きに少々時間がかかっていました。そして宿泊の際に各階に行くにはエレベーターを利用するしかなく、エレベーターが苦手な自分としては階段かエスカレーターがあると尚、良かったです。

日当たり、景色共に良かったです。

部屋に入った時にアイコスの匂いが残って居たのが残念です。部屋からの眺めは良くかなり陽当たりの良い部屋でした。夜は不忍池がライトアップされていて、景色が良かった。観光客がかなり多い中、大量のスーツケース管理をアパの従業員さん頑張ってました。京成上野駅が斜め前なので海外から来る場合重い荷物を持っての移動や帰り道が楽です。

外国の方が多く泊まられてました。繁盛してるのはとても良い事だと思いますが夜の0時になっても子供の騒ぐ声やドタバタと不快な音。
きっと改善は難しいと思うので、ここに泊まるのはやめようと思いました。

駅が目の前で翌日の朝が早かったので便利でした。
部屋はダブルベッドでいっぱいな感じだったけど、1人には丁度いい広さでした。女性の私にはデスク前の大きな鏡が夜と朝の支度に便利で嬉しかったです。

部屋やベットは大変清掃が行き届いていて快適に過ごすことが出来ました。しかし浴槽の内壁がザラついていたので、内壁まで清掃できていれば快適に湯船に浸かることができたと思います。

タオルが紙でなくなったのがとても良い。

ユニットバスなので多少は仕方がないが、はじめにバスルームに入った時の酸っぱいような臭いがひどい。アパさんは結構利用回数が多いが、一か所ではないので改善してほしい。
掃除の担当が気が付かないのが不思議なほどの臭いなので、なぜ？と感じる。

部屋からの眺望はとてもよかったです。
問題は大きく二つ。一つは、部屋の空気清浄機の給水タンクに茶色いヘドロがこびりついていたこと。洗って使おうをしましたが、タワシがないので諦めました。おそらく、数か月掃除していないと思われます。
もう一つが、朝食の折コーヒーメーカーが壊れており、代替のインスタントコーヒーもおいていなかったこと。暖かいお茶などもなかったので、冷たい飲み物か、お湯しかないという選択肢でした。これで2千円以上の朝食代をとるのは、費用対効果が悪すぎます。

ホテルのポリシーを理解して選ぶこと

ハイシーズンで、アパ以外の選択肢はありませんでした。やはり、私にはこの狭さは耐え難いです。排水管の匂い、連泊の場合、依頼しないとごみが処理されないなど、ベッドの柔らかさなど、私には向いていませんでした。

立地は最高

上野駅からも徒歩で4、5分、京成上野駅は出口のすぐ前。アメ横までも信号ふたつみっつ渡ってすぐと立地は最高。部屋は広くないけど利便性が良いわりに、不忍の池側の部屋は夜も静かでした。ただ、西日が当たっている時間に部屋にいるとエアコンかなり効かせないといけないかもしれません。

The room was overheated (86F). We were told to open a window. The carpet had slivers of wood and nail clippings. The glass and mirror surfaces were smudged. The breakfast area was a whole other level of subpar. The (male) staff treated every request as an imposition. The setup was ramshackle with folding tables holding heating pots of miso and rice. The staff stayed in the kitchen as much as possible, resulting in sticky tables and trays, and unreplenished dishes on the buffet. The food itself was not of the quality we have come to expect from APA hotels. These issues may seem minor, but taken together, they make for an unpleasant experience. We will not be returning to this hotel.

The only reason to stay at this hotel would be for the easy access to the Skyliner train that takes you directly to Narita Airport. From Ueno station, it is difficult to drag your luggage through the park with stairs. The hotel provides small room but its pricy.

We did appreciate the luggage hold service and the umbrella.

The room that I was being assigned is ridiculously small. Literally my wife and I cannot move inside the room properly. I understand on average the hotel room size in Japan is small, but this one is ultra small. It should be designed for single bed only.

I know it is Tokyo, but the rooms were super small. They definitely let you know that when you book because they tell you exactly how many square feet there is in the room. 119sf just isn’t enough for my husband and I. I’m surprised we’re still married! They do have larger rooms and they have rooms that overlook the park instead of the ones we booked, which looked out at somebody’s wall. I would recommend booking a higher class of room. The double is really a single.The location is great because you can get right there from the keisei Skyliner from the airport. You just walk across the street and there you are great location but a big heartless hotel.

This was, by far, the worst hotel I stayed at in Japan. I read online there was an automated check-in machine - cool! Nothing at the front desk is labeled, so I go to the machine nearest to the door, which says to scan your QR code. Since I booked through Expedia, I thought maybe only those who booked directly with the hotel got a QR code to check in or something. I told the front desk staff I didn’t have a QR code… and apparently this made him think I was a complete idiot. Rather than just direct me to the correct machine, he proceeded to smugly tell me what to do on every screen and every button to press, despite it being in English. With an increasingly annoyed tone, I kept saying “okay!” hoping he would get the hint and just let me do my thing… finally, I said “I can actually follow this, thanks” - and that STILL didn’t stop him. I understand that as a hotel in a tourist area you must get a lot of dumb tourists, but treating everyone you come across as one isn’t doing you any favors.

And then I actually got to my room… turns out, this hotel was lying on Expedia when they said every room enjoyed a city view - my window had about a 5 foot gap to the building next door. Wallpaper in the room was peeling & the air unit had gross dust residue on the ceiling.

The facilities are basically non-existent - they don’t even have coin laundry.

The only upside to this hotel is that if you’re going to the airport, the platform for the Skyliner is basically next door.

Cet hôtel est PARFAITEMENT situé pour découvrir Tokyo et ses alentours. La gare du train Skyliner, qui permet de rejoindre l'aéroport de Narita, est voisine à peine 50 mètres de ce superbe hôtel. D'ici, vous avez accès facilement à la ville et ses environs. La station de trains et de métros Ueno n'est elle aussi qu'à quelques centaines de mètres. Les chambres (certaines) ont vue sur le parc très calme et offrent une vue agréable sur la ville la nuit. Point auquel il faut être attentif, les chambres sont petites et n'offrent pas beaucoup d'espace de rangement. L'espace pour les petits-déjeuners est agréable. Attention, il n'offre pas beaucoup de places. A peine est-on sorti de l'hôtel que des commerces sont présents. Pour manger, faire du shopping, bouger, cet hôtel est parfaitement situé et offre un service parfait. Le personnel est très aimable et met tout en œuvre pour aider, renseigner. À recommander sans aucune hésitation.

Very tiny room (too tiny)! Lobby is too small to hold all the early checkin luggage, makes the lobby very chaotic. Very slow elevator. No self service laundry available. Our sink was leaking.
Very good location if you need to catch early flight to NRT, we had an early flight and had no issue catching the first sky-liner!

Amenidades y servicio excelente, el minibar olia a comida aunque estaba limpio al abrirlo despedia un olor desagradable. Con el spray de la suite dedinfectante logramos neutralizar un poco pero fue molesto. Muy buena ubicacion vale la pena y tiene un seven super cerca.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip. I paid extra for a park view and it was worth it. Checkin is very easy and the staff is helpful even though it is computerized. We left our luggage in the lobby twice and both times it was convenient and well taken care of. Everything is nearby, you will not need to walk far at all to get food or forgotten items or to the metro. Which means you can spend your time doing all the activities in the park! The rooms are small but we had everything we needed and enough space to be happy. The beds were comfortable.

Rundum eine gute Unterkunft. Freundlicher Empfang und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter vor Ort helfen auch bei kleinen Problemen weiter. Ich fühlte mich von Anfang an willkommen. Die Anbindung an eine große Auswahl an den Bahnverkehr macht die Sache noch praktischer. Ich komme gerne wieder.
