折角見晴らしが良いのに、窓が少し汚れていたのが残念でした。
期待を込めて四つ星です。

部屋からの富士山は素晴らしいの一言でした。夕食も追加料金で少しアップグレードして貰いましたが、お刺身、蟹、牛肉とそれぞれ非常に美味しかったです。また行きたいと思います。
富士山が見えて部屋食が出来るプランを小学生以下の子供がいると選べないのは、まだ小学生がいる私達の家族には少し残念でした。そこは改善して頂きたいです。

スタッフの方も親切でした。忘れ物をしたので問い合わせたら、すぐに探してくださり、送ってくださるとのことで助かりました。母親の誕生日でケーキを前日にお願いしましたが、ちゃんとローソクと共に用意してくれました。とっても美味しいケーキで喜んでいました。ありがとうございました。

女性の大浴場のお湯がぬるかった。
Wi-Fiの速度が非常に遅かったです。

設備が古い

便座の漏電の所が点灯していて暖かくなりませんでした。
館内の廊下は寒くコスパとしては良いとは言えませんでした。

窓からの景色が最高です。

ホテルからの景色はとても良く、部屋も快適でした。若干窓枠のホコリが気になりましたが、部屋、浴室、トイレはは綺麗でした。河口湖畔を散歩するには最適のロケーションです。

アットホームなホテルです

子供や孫と3家族で泊まりましたが、宿のスタッフの対応が
家族的であたたかくとても気持ちよく過ごせました。こちら
の希望にもよく対応していただき助かりました。目の前に富士山と
河口湖が見えるいいロケーションです。
ただ、建物が継ぎ足しなのか、9Ｆの部屋に行くのに2回エレベータ
を乗り換えなければいけなくちょっと面倒なのと、売店のお土産品
などが少ないのが残念。

いろんなルールやサービス時間的におかしいです

景色はとても良かったですが、チェックアウトの時間は10時で、普通なホテルと比べてちょっと早いと思います。そして、ホテルが無料送迎バスを提供していますが、一番遅く発車する時間は10時で、つまり10時にチェックアウトしたら絶対間に合わないんです。

場所は良いし、接客も気持ち良く対応して頂き良かった。建物は古いが綺麗でしたが、露天風呂が蜘蛛の巣や、虫の死骸が多く非常に残念でした。翌朝も露天に行くと清掃した形跡はなく残念でした。

景観は良いが信じられない位部屋が不清潔、食事は美味しい

歴史ある旅館で河口湖と富士山を満喫出来たけれど部屋の掃除がきちんと出来ていなかった。壁や天井にクモの巣など部屋全体が汚くてがっかりしへやの変更をしたがまた同じくエアコンのフィルターにホコリが詰まっていてエアコンをつけたら部屋の窓際やエアコンのフィルターからでるほこりで部屋中がほこりだらけになり咳が出て喉も痛くなった。私が予約したので家族に申し訳無くて大変だった。ホテル側は掃除業者のせいにしてたけれどどうやら訳がわからない状態でとにかく温泉もお掃除の手がついてない気がした。アイスの機械、電子レンジ等もたくて不便だった。どうやら有る部分古い仕来りを守っているようだが部屋の清潔や現代的に取り入れる必要が有る部分は積極的にしないと。。。
ホテルの規模対働く人数が少ない気もした。
朝食は伝統的な美味しい料理だった。

酒店服務員服務非常細心，因為酒店規定接送客戶從酒店到河口湖站，每天只有三班巴士。我辦理退房時，第一班巴士理應已經開了，但酒店服務員卻替我安排可不可以踏上第一班巴士，結果成功上了巴士，再次衷心感謝服務員細心的安排

The location of the property was like right on the lake. So it was very convenient for a lot of activities around the area. The parking was across the hotel and there were plenty available. The check-in process was quite painless. The receptionists spoke English well. There was no problem communicating like asking whether we could park across the street in the parking lot. The hotel was a little bit tired and old. But the room was clean, decent size for Japan standards and the view of Mt Fuji in the room was breath taking. So I felt the trade off of a little run down infrastructure for a good price room and view was well worth it to stay here.

部屋が快適なのは富士山が一望できる美しい景色のおかげです。

部屋は掃除されていましたが、ベッドの上には髪の毛、玄関の靴箱に入っているスリッパがめちゃくちゃ。玄関の掃除をそもそもやってないのが明らか。

スタッフはほぼいない。
チェックイン時もチェックアウト時も、カウンターに1人のみ。
部屋までの案内はない。
6階以上、上の階に泊まる場合、5階でエレベーターを乗換えるんだけど、乗換えのエレベーターが遠くて分かりにくい。
説明がないので、スタッフのサービスについて評価もなにも、サービスを受けてないに等しい。

そして、1番驚いたのは大浴場の外のウォーターサーバー。白いミネラルが水の出口にびっしりこびりついてて、風呂上がりに水を飲む気が一気に失せた。

ベッドはとにかく硬い！
クッション性はなし。横向きに寝たいのに、肩を痛めるレベル。全く安眠できませんでした。

このホテルで素晴らしいのは眺望のみです

The remarks about the hotel being dated are true, but it is a good base for exploring some areas with great views of the lakes and Mt. Fuji (when clear, Mt. Fuji was viewable directly from my window). I stayed in a traditional Japanese room, and it is showing some signs of age, but it was clean and completely fine. Ate dinner at the restaurant, and it was an impressive, full-spread Japanese fare event. Not a bad choice, but not five-star appointments either.

飯店到車站的接送巴士為早上9點/九點半/十點三個班次

the reception lady told me the meal I ordered can be refund cause I ordered two person but only one come. but When I checked out they told me it's not refundable…the room is so noisy, you can hear people walking and talking next door.

We had a pleasant stay. Although the hotel is in need of a refresh, it provides good value for visitors. The portions of the meals were generous. We enjoyed the onsen and the mountain view from our hotel room was priceless.

We stayed one night at Hotel Mifujien in the Japanese style room. It was very pleasant and clean. We enjoyed the onsen very much. There were a few things that would ruin the experience for someone more picky. There was bad sewage smell from the bathroom. With closed doors to the room, it wasn’t too bad, but someone more sensitive could have had a hard time tolerating it. Also, glass in the onsen can be cleaned more often as it was hard to enjoy the view through salt stains. For dinner, we went to a restaurant near by. It would be nice to have an option to buy breakfast at the hotel, our reservation didn’t have it included.
But overall we enjoyed our stay and the room. Fuji was kind to us to show all its beauty. It was breathtaking.

Terrible hotel

Don't be fooled by the pictures they posted. This hotel is terrible!
The room is dirty, smelly and disgusting. I didn't even take a shower because of the black mold in the bathroom. This is not a Japanese standard. What a shame!
You need to switch 3 elevators to get to the room. I believe it is another old building somehow connected to the hotel.
Dirty wall, dirty air conditioner.
So called Mountain View is a bunch of machines on the top of another building .
The location is not convenient.
High price for a terrible stay.

Stayed in room 412 bathroom was very smelly and had mold. Bed linen had a funny smell, fridge was broken meaning we had to throw away some food we bought with us. Room was dated and worn out. Found several bugs in the room during our 2 day stay. Would not stay again.

Great hotel. Perfect room with a breathtaking view

Our short stay at Hotel Mifujien and Kawaguchiko was wonderfull. The room had a breathtaking view of Fuji-San, plenty of space and gave us a proper traditional Japanese experience.

Whist our party aren't the biggest lovers of sashimi, the half board food offering had plenty to try and taste. The sheer amount included was wonderfull. Both hostesses for our evening and morning meals were very attentive and welcoming.

Overall our little excursion to the base of Mount Fuji was improved by our stay at this hotel. Definitely one to visit again when we are back in Japan.

Amazing

This hotel is the perfect stay to have a great view of the Mount Fuji. Our booking included Japanese style dinner and breakfast which were very complete. The service was absolutely amazing!
The beds were not very comfortable, but overall the room was great!

The room is quite big. We were a party of 4, so the room had 2 beds and 2 Japanese futons, which were all very comfortable.

We went to the hot tub, which was located on the same floor as our room. The communal area was quite clean.

Our package includes dinner and breakfast. Both were delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the dinner service was great! However the room was very dated and needed an update. Furniture and walls were visibly dirty and worn out. If you have allergies do not stay here, the room was very musty and dusty. Really wanted to like this hotel with its great views and onsen, but wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately.

Great views and onsen

This is a traditional Onsen hotel. We stayed in a Japanese tatami room facing Mt Fuji. The staff prepared the futons for us. The staff were polite and friendly. The Japanese breakfast was good. Shuttle service was provided from the train station.

A very unique experience. The dinner set was quite impressive and very very unique. We really enjoyed the experience. The server was a very nice lady. The room was large and very nice with a stunning view of the lake.

Too bad we could not see Mnt Fuji since it was very cloudy

Since we step in the hotel, staff there were very unfriendly and rude. There was no service at all and was the worst experience I have ever had staying in an ryokan. The dinner was tasteless and the tiger shrimp seemed rotten and cooked for a long time. Rice and miso soup were served after we have finished all our m doishes. Furniture was old and with stains. The morning breakfast was much better than the dinner. The hotel seems not welcoming us for staying the night.

Outdated hotel

A very outdated and old hotel. No extra service, no one to help with your baggage as there is only 1 service staff at the counter. With the price paid, I think you can have better choices!

Our room is not clean enough.. there are some hairs on the floor and on the mattress.

The hotel cannot provide just one more extra pillow and staff doesn't help.

The scenery is stunning. The hotel facilities & staffs are impressive. Even though there is nothing much to do nearby the hotel, the transportation is quite good.you can take a sightseeing bus (Red-line) for traveling around since there is a bust stop right away less than 100m from the hotel :-)
