外国人の利用が多いのはわかりますが、
その分清潔感に気をつけてほしい。
泊まったフロアの部屋着はスカスカ、
着用済のものがその棚に置かれてる、
お借りしたズボンには毛が内側についているし、
そういう面が残念でした。

でも子連れだったのですが部屋前まで荷物を運んでくれたり色々親切にしていただけたのはとても嬉しかったです

室内は清潔感があり良かったのですが、掛布団のシーツの角にジェルみたいなものがついていました。(洗濯糊の残りかもしれませんが)
シーツの交換をお願いするとすぐに持ってきていただけたのですが、交換はしていただけず手渡すと帰られてしまいました。
こちらが汚したのなら自分でするのは仕方ないと思いますが、ホテル側のチェックミスなのに自分でというのは…
スタッフの方の対応も他のホテルに比べると低評価かなと思います。(持ってこられた時に英語で話されました…)
宿泊は海外の方が多かったので勘違いされたのかなと思いますが、宿泊情報を確認されてから訪ねるようにされたら良いかなと思います。
朝、チェックアウトの時、対応された日本人スタッフの方は質問にも丁寧に答えてくださいました。

ベッドの下に荷物を入れるのがいい。部屋は清潔でアメニティの持ち帰り自由がよい。お客はほぼ外国人で日本人は一人も会わなかった。接客も良かった。

新宿駅(南口/サザンテラス)から近いことが強み

とにかく新宿駅から近い。重いラゲージを持って駅から歩くにもなんとか耐えられる。
客数がめちゃくちゃ多く、特に訪日客が多く、レセプションは常に人混み。ホテルとしても自動化を取り入れてなんとかやっているが、笑顔やおもてなしには期待せず、むしろスピード対応に感謝すること。

大江戸線Ａ１出口からすぐでとても便利でしたし、朝食バイキングも種類が豊富で満足しました。お部屋も周りの音が全く聞こえず静かで快適に過ごせました。新宿に泊まる時はまた利用します。この度はありがとうございました。

都営新宿線を使って移動したかったので、駅の入り口すぐ近くで助かりました。3泊したのですが、乾燥機付きのコインランドリーが多数あり、洋服の洗濯ができたので、荷物が少なくて済みました。

チェックインアウトが機械化されていて効率的ではありましたが、慣れないと分かりづらいところもありました。カードキーが出てきたので受け取ってすぐに離れようとしましたが、まだ部屋番号が書いてあるレシートがあり、スタッフに呼び止められて気がついた、など。

新宿駅からもほど近く、部屋も清潔、必要な設備も整っており、フロントの方も親切で快適に過ごせました。
初めて宿泊しましたが、機会があればまた利用させていただきたいと思います。

It’s a decent hotel but rooms were small and bed and pillows were too firm . Front desk was super friendly and it’s located next to 2 train stations! But I wouldn’t stay here again. Price was great for location though

My partner and I stayed here for several nights at the beginning of our trip and by the end of our stay we were hoping to return for the last few days. Unfortunately we were unable to due to availability, which makes sense because staying here was such a dream. The room is a modest size however we found there to be plenty of storage. All staff was kind and helpful. We look forward to returning

Pros: Very convenient location; close to train stations, shopping, and dining; very walkable; hotel is clean and safe; kiosk-based check-in and check-out; use magnetic signages on door to request different level of housekeeping service, friendly English-speaking staff

Very minor cons - Bathroom ventilation not very good leading to musty smell (make sure to leave the bathroom door open after shower to alleviate this issue), towels are very thin

Satisfaisant mais sans âme

Deuxième séjour dans et hôtel cet été. Idéalement placé, mais avec les enregistrements par ordinateur, plus de contact avec quiconque. Vous avez besoin de qlq chose (serviette) c est a vous d aller la chercher à la réception, on ne manque de rien, le petit déjeuner est très correct.

Excellent Hotel

Impeccable service from the staff made us feel extremely comfortable. Hotel was spotless. Great location near Shinjuku station allows easy connections across the city. Breakfast was absolutely excellent with new things to try each morning. A great experience altogether.

Perfectly good international hotel. When I first arrived by the limousine bus I was a little worried I was in a dark nowhere spot. But, after appreciating the quite nights sleep I woke to find myself a short walk from all of Tokyo via Shikoku station. Accessing the laundry became a regular race on account of the hot humid conditions..

Large hotel perfect for tourists. In a very central and walkable location. Rooms were fine (clean, decent size for Tokyo) and staff was great. No complaints!

Hôtel très bien situé, proche de la gare de Shinjuku, très central. La chambre est propre et silencieuse (lorsque la fenêtre est fermée). Elle est cependant très petite (dans la moyenne de ce qui ce fait au japon). Inconvénient : Pas de coffre fort ni de placard. Pour le ménage, il fallait laisser sur la porte les consignes avant midi maximum, sans quoi il ne serait pas fait. Nous aurions aimé faire la grasse matinée de temps en temps !!

Best introduction to Japan as a first time visitor.

Hotel was extremely convenient for travel around Shinjuku on foot and greater Tokyo area by train/subway. Conbini just across the road and behind hotel.

Room was well sized for Japan and very comfortable / quiet / clean.

Loved our stay.

Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is my go-to hotel in Tokyo. Its location is unbeatable—right next to Shinjuku Station, with especially easy access to the Oedo Line. Being in Shinjuku means you’re surrounded by great food and endless shopping, all within walking distance. A delightful bonus is the selection of complimentary goodies in the lobby: face masks, bubble bath, toothbrushes, tea, and coffee. Everything about this place is consistently excellent!

Apesar da boa localização, não ficaria novamente.

O acesso à internet é bom, a localização é boa, com várias estações e centro comercial há alguns passos.
Porém o quarto é muito apertado, não tem onde colocar a mala. A cama é pequena e o carpete do quarto é velho e com aparência de sujo. Muito ruim para quem tem alergia.

Bel hôtel où nous avons été il y a 15 ans. Les peintures ont défraîchi un peu, mais il reste toujours très agréable ormis le check in qui désormais se fait a 100% avec un ordinateur. Le p'tit dej est un must.nous allons encore y retourner

The property is well-located and conveniently close to nearby activities. The rooms were clean but small. Good for two people if you are going to spend time outside the rooms. The staff was very friendly and assisted us with the luggage transfer.

Absolutely the most convenient location in Tokyo, Sunroute Shinjuku is located right next to exit A1, which provides access to the Oedo line subway. It is also near Blue Bottle coffee and Takashimaya department store, this location has everything - food, shopping, access to the rest of Tokyo, even a fun vinyl bar (Spincoaster Music Bar).

Room was small but all reasonable rooms in Tokyo are small. With just me it was no problem. Great location only a very short walk to the Shinjuku Station. Has a24 hour Family Mart across the street for food, snacks etc. Over the last 15 years I have stayed here and it has always been great. Never tried the Breakfast Buffet.

There are combination laundry machine/ dryers on every second level and you can use your mastercard, suica card etc to operate instead of coins. Very handy, and you can watch your laundry wash/dry timer on your tv in your room so you dont have to keep checking on it. There is also vending machines on every other floor with varierty of cold drinks. They give you pyjamas and wabaki (room sandals) to use. Good experience There is a chinese food across the road and kombini stores all around. Quick walk to Shinjuku station and safe area.

5 min walk to Shinjuku station. Lot of restaurants and shopping in area. Very safe area. Rooms are clean and reasonable size. Vending machine /Self serve laundry service/ machine on some of the floor for all guess to use. Staff are friendly and on site restaurant serve very nice Japanese style breakfast buffet

A great spot in Shinjuku for enjoying Tokyo’s busy areas. Our room was quiet and well appointed - not large but workable. Lots of amenities in the lobby. Laundry was a plus - 600yen for a wash+dry and it took Suica. The hotel has a great location - immediately adjacent to a metro stop and about a 10 min walk into the massive Shinjuku station for the JR line. Airport Limousine bus stops right outside the hotel which was perfect for our flight out of Haneda. Tons of shops and restaurants nearby. Literally everything you need is within 20 min walk. We loved Takeshimaya for basement food hall and upstairs restaurants - that’s a short walk too. An excellent base for 4 days in Tokyo - highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed in Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku for 3 nights in July 2025, following an earlier stay of 4 nights in May 2025. The hotel is excellent in all respects: clean and spacious (by Tokyo standards...) rooms, good service, excellent location. It is a short walk to Shinjuku Station, the Takashimaya shopping complex and the restaurant zones of Shinjuku. I think the hotel is a good value for what it offers.

Very confortable after a room upgrade, the original room was very small I was eligible for a cashback (I do not know why), but I was told this good new when I boarded the limousine bus to the airport. I would like to receive my cashback.

Pleasantly surprised stay

Great stay at Sunroute. It is conveniently located by the JR line of Shinjuku. Easy to get around. Rooms were spacious enough. Lots of amenities packs to grab at the lobby floor. Good home base to get around in Tokyo.

Sehr zentral gelegen, allerdings auch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise etwas abgenutzt und altbacken.
Check in war nicht eine Minute vor 15 Uhr möglich, da erst dann automatisierte Check-in Computer freigeschaltet werden.
Zimmer sehr beengt und Fernseher winzig, für eine Nacht okay

The accommodations were awesome. The hotel was able to book our two rooms next to each other. The amenities and services were exactly as advertised (luggage, laundry service). Staff were incredible. Location in is perfect to get around Tokyo via quick walking access to all trains (all lines). Our family wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The location of the property is very convenient, being close to the Shinjuku station. As many have reported the automated checking process is absolutely horrible. It is convoluted and takes a lot of time. Having a person check you in is invaluable for customer relationships in the service industry.The hotel is in the service industry so why would you have an automated check in that totally removes any personal contact with the customer? The front desk is located away from the elevator elevators, so you would never see the staff while walking in. This again removes any personal element of interaction with the customer. I think this is a very bad idea. The service industry is based on customer relationship and if you remove the relationship, there is nothing With the customer. The breakfast is very average and does not have much variety compared to other Japanese hotels that I have been in. If the above can be improved, it would be a great hotel. I found the staff reasonably helpful.
