Absolutely fantastic properly. Looks like it was recently remodeled. Everything from the staff to the property itself was top notch. Rooms were large and extremely comfortable. I am not used to a Holiday Inn being this good.

Nice breakfast that offers a variety of Japanese and western food. Impressively spacious, quiet, clean rooms. 7 min walk to subway station. Highly recommend to American and European tourists. It's hard to find such spacious hotel rooms in Japan.

This is so far THE BEST hotel stay for me of all my visits to Japan for more than 5 times!

The room is incredibly spacious and extremely clean. Each bed has TWO LARGE pillows, not the lousy tiny pillows you see at other hotels, one SOFT and one FIRM pillow.

There is an an exercise room on the 3rd floor, as where you can get ice and microwave your food, as well as a vending machine. I have to admit there is only ONE microwave for the entire hotel, but really, why would you want to eat microwave food when visiting Japan? There is an ice cold/filtered water dispenser on every floor!

I didn't try the public bath on the 13th floor, because I don't like public baths :-) And I didn't try the restaurant food on the 2nd floor.

The lobby is small compared to most major hotels like the Hilton, etc., but it is so relaxing with nice music and a barista is there to take your coffee order(s), a bit pricey, though.

The staff is AMAZING nice and friendly supportive.

I definitely come back again! If you want to have the best experience of staying in Kyoto, stay at this hotel -- excellent rooms and affordable!

all the staff have been very friendly and helpful. When we arrived at the hotel before noon, it happened that one of room was available, the staff was so kind to let us in without extra charge. This saved us time and let us take some early rest. We really appreciate this favor.

The property is close to a subway station, and a few bus stops. So it is very convenient to reach attractions.

We would definitely revisit Kyoto and our first choice would be this hotel.

Beautiful hotel

This hotel is so lovely and clean . The beds were really comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly . I slept very well and the location was excellent . Already planned my next visit to stay at this same hotel .

Me gustó mucho, creo deberían invertir en mejores máquinas en la zona de lavado, normalmente Kyoto ya es el 2do o 3er lugar de vacaciones y es necesario el uso de las lavadoras y secadoras, no funcionan del todo bien y tardan mucho en terminar el servicio,

The bathroom was quite smelly when I checked in and they had to offer me other rooms, surprisingly the next few rooms offered were also smelly and they staff admitted as well. The room was dusty too as it seemed to me the cleaning was done a while ago. Sound proof was quite poor in the room as I could hear air conditioning and fridge running loudly, not to mention noise from the hallway even my room was at the end of the hallway.

Very nice front desk staff. She provide free membership option and we are able to check in early and optional late check out. Rooms are very clean. Location walkable to stations.

Great location and very clean! Enjoyed using the gym which was equipped with several treadmills and weights ranging from 2 to 20kg. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was lovely. Much bigger than your average business hotel. They gave you choice of firm or soft pillows and the bathroom was nice and big.

모든 게 좋았습니다. 위치, 서비스, 숙박시설, 사우나, 아침 식사 등등등... 일본 호텔의 아침은 정말 복불복인데 홀리데이인이라 그런지 음식들이 맛났습니다. 룸에 있으면 소음도 거의 없었고, 스태프들도 참 친절했고, 전반적인 호텔의 분위기가 참 좋았습니다.

위치는 구경할 만한 곳들은 좀 걸어야 합니다

Staff very friendly even filled out forms to forward luggage to Tokyo. Rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable beds. Easy to get anywhere. Kyoto Station was amazing with great restaurants.
