楽しかったです

スタッフの対応は丁寧でした。部屋でかけ布団をめくったら、隣の布団と布団の間、畳の上に絡まった髪の毛が落ちていました。その他は特に清掃に関して気になるところはありませんでした。フロント前にフリードリンクコーナーがあり、ジュースの他にビールやワインなど数種類のアルコールもあったので楽しめました。廊下には自動販売機もあり、値段は特に高くなく助かりました。

なかなか出会う事のない良宿

出張帰り途中のワーケーションにと、何とは無しに予約。予定より早く到着し、手持ち不沙汰だったが、副店長の名札を付けた外国人スタッフの方とお話しすると、源泉を2ヶ所から引いており、大浴場はその両方を楽しめるとのこと。更に「良かったら入れます」との案内で、お言葉に甘え入らせていただき、チェックイン前に温泉を堪能。その後もスタッフの皆さんの気持ちの良い挨拶、都内だと15000円から18,000円位するで有ろう夕食、5000円位はするで有ろう朝食など、どんな経営努力をすればこの様な良質なサービスを提供出来るのかに興味が湧きました。また近年の外国人スタッフによる日本品質のサービスの低下もこちらでは一切無く、むしろ日本で働いて下さりありがとうございますと、言いたい位です。
これからも機会が有れば泊まらせて頂きます。

御殿場、強羅からバスでホテルのすぐそはまで行くことが出来ました。外国からの大切な友人を連れて行きましたが、ゴージャスで滋味ゆたかな夕食、ボリュームも味も素晴らしく感激していました。近くにはススキの大平原と湿原が広がる自然豊かなところで美術館も複数あり、場所も最高でした。部屋に露天風呂があり、夜中や朝時間を気にせずゆっくり出来ました。フロントやレストランで働く外国人の若者たちも親切で素晴らしかったです。また来年、友人が来日したら泊まりたいと思っています。

部屋は少し狭い感じがしましたが、露天風呂もお風呂が付いているのですごく良かったです。
お風呂もきれいで、何度も入りました。
スタッフの方も親切で、朝ご飯しか食べていませんが、ご飯も美味しかったし、宿泊者専用でドリンク飲み放題やかき氷、アイス、コーヒーなどもあり、特別な時間を過ごすことができました。連休というのもあり、駐車場は残りが少ないように感じました。混み合う時期に行かれるなら、あらかじめ確認が必要かもしれないです。旅館から、車で10分も走れば観光地にアクセスできるので、すごく便利でした。
次また箱根に来た時もまた泊まりたいと思うくらい満足でした。

チェックイン時のフロントの対応はイマイチでした。（バイトさんでしょうか…。）
客室も綺麗で良かったですが、89歳の父いわく「手すりが無い」のが気になったそうです。部屋の手拭き紙は紙を詰めすぎて取りずらい。（これはお客様目線ではないかな〜、残念です。）
ご飯時のスタッフさんは、目配り、気配りが出来ていて、気持ちの良い接客でした。
部屋の露天風呂も大きくて快適。
大浴場も混み合う事がなく、のんびり入れました。
夕食、朝食共に、ボリュームがあり美味しく、満腹でした！
夕食時の飲み物はフリードリンクだったので、お酒も沢山いただきましたし、ロビーに設置してあるドリンク類も飲み放題で、嬉しかったです。
大浴場横のアイスキャンディーのサービスも孫は大喜びで、私たちもいただきました。美味しかったです。
あ、女性用の浴衣Ｍサイズが足りなくて、Ｌサイズでしたのでブカブカだったのはざんねんかな。
相対的に…息子夫婦は大満足で、また利用したい、と言っています。
楽しい旅行になりました。

森が近い為、虫が多い、これから暑くなると蚊などがもっと増えると思う、外階段から入室するので、扉の開閉ごとに虫が入る。部屋にある風呂も露天なので、朝起きるとお風呂に小さな虫がたくさん浮いており、備え付けの網ですくってから入るようにしなければならない。すすきが原が近く朝早く散歩すると気持ちが良い、また、湿生植物縁が近く歩いて行ける。散歩するには良いロケーション。

一の湯の感想です。

食事は美味しい。かなりお腹が一杯になります。お風呂は内湯と外湯が一つ一つで普通でした。残念なのがお部屋の掃除がいまいちでした（前の客のゴミが残っていた）。安く泊まれたとは思いますが総合では普通評価とします。

急に娘が休みをとれることになり、前日Expediaで予約しました。
ポーラ美術館に行くつもりだったので、近いし綺麗そうだったので予約して行ってみたら、オープンして１週間くらいの新しいホテルで、コンパクトな作りですが部屋つき露天風呂もあって設備も充実していました。コストパフォーマンスを考えれば十分かと思います。

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit privatem Onsen. Die Zimmer waren geräumig (auch zu dritt machbar) und der private Onsenbereich einfach richtig toll! Man kann den allgemeinen Onsen zusätzlich nutzen.
Das Essen (Frühstück und Abendbrot) war sehr reichhaltig und traditionell japanisch. Wer also keinen Fisch mag, sollte zwei Tage vorher ein vegetarisches Menü bestellen. Es gibt zu jeder Mahlzeit eine kleine Anleitung, wie man diese einnehmen kann - das ist besonders für Besucher, die mit der japanischen Kultur nicht vertraut sind, sehr hilfreich.


Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich, umsichtig und professionell.

Die Anbindung per Bus ist etwas undurchsichtig. Das Hotel befindet sich etwas abseits der zentraler gelegenen Hotels. Man muss sich vorab etwas mit den Fahrplänen beschäftigen und dann klappt das. Wir haben einen Tag gebraucht, um alles zu durchblicken ;-) Man sollte sich hier wirklich auf die lokalen Flyer und Fahrpläne stützen (Google Maps und Apple Maps half hier nicht so gut, wie in anderen Gebieten Japans).

Wir können das Hotel mit den Zimmern mit dem privaten Onsen wirklich sehr empfehlen. Besonders nach dem Abendbrot (was sehr viel und reichhaltig war) war es toll, den privaten Onsen nutzen zu können und nicht noch mal Richtung Haupthaus in den großen Onsen gehen zu müssen.

Everyone was so kind, from the front desk employees to the dining staff. They put all of my nerves about experiencing a new culture to rest. I was nervous because it was my first time wearing a yukata, and eating a multi-course traditional Japanese meal. The servers especially were very encouraging and helpful, as I had a new question just about every time they walked by. A lot of the food was new to me, and it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this hotel over and over again, and I will be returning.

The rooms were lovely with a real Japanese feel and the private onsen was a wonderful luxury. The hotel provided ornate dressing gowns for dining and experiencing the hotel. And the feasts we were served at breakfast and lunch were very impressive. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay

the inn looked dated. They provided one small bath towel, very thin. No hand towel or face towel. If you need amenities like shower cap, body cream, you have to go to the main building to get it. Onsen is nice but no views. Dinner and breakfast were good.

Family Mart next to the hotel was very convenient. Nothing else nearby in terms of shopping or restaurants. The private onsen was wonderful as were the public ones. Very clean facility. Kaiseki BF and dinner was really good! Service fantastic.

El Riokan está bien. Demasiado alejado de todo y con difícil transportación. No me parece una buena opción si vienes por solo una noche a Hakone y quieres conocer todo. Mejor hospedarte en la zona de Gora. Hay una tiendita de conveniencia a un lado por si no aguantas la comida tradicional japonesa que sirven en el Riokan.

Absolutely delightful hotel: helpful staff, clean, comfortable, huge room, wonderful food, free tea/coffee/alcohol whenever you like, japanese robe and towels included. The private onsen was so lovely - don’t be fooled by the photos, it was clean as a whistle, just stained by the minerals in the water. Absolutely enormous amount of all sorts of strange and delicious food for both dinner and breakfast.
I’m staying in hostels pretty much every night of my holiday in Japan but wanted to spend one night having an affordable ryokan experience: this place was by far the cheapest in the Hakone area but I can’t see how it could have been better. Adding be put off by its location, it’s a short very easy bus ride from Lake Biwa; it’s also right next door to a 24 hour convenience store.

I told the hotel in advance I was vegetarian and I was incredibly well accommodated. The meals were vegetarian, well presented, diverse and delicious. Lots of new Japanese food experiences. The rooms are large and relatively clean, the futon beds weren’t very comfortable (but no futons really are) and the staff were all exceptionally helpful.

The Susukinohara Ichinoyu Hotel in Hakone offers fantastic accommodations, featuring private spring baths as well as access to a larger public bath. The ambiance is lovely, making it a wonderful place to stay. There were also complimentary drinks, including alcohol. The only downside was the tedious trip to get there via a crowded bus, which made for a bumpy ride.

Absolutely loved our stay there. Came as a family with 2 teenagers.
The private onsen was so relaxing and everyone got to spend "me" time on their own. The mineral properties of the water was pure bliss.
The dinner and breakfast was wonderful, with lots of food and all you can drink for 90mins at dinner.
Would highly recommend.

一間很不錯的旅遊，如有機會很多意再住。

旅館旁有便利店，不用擔心因位置比較偏僻，晚上想買點零食也不行。房內有風呂，足夠兩個人一起浸，可能因此大浴場不是太多人浸。晚上在大浴場浸完，朝早瞓醒懶行再在房間浸一次，一流！食物有質素，魚生片很新鮮及大塊，我本人不太吃魚生的也吃了五六片。但要留意晚餐時間，旅館真的最後入坐時間是六時半，不要抱有旅館會為你留餐的期望。

Gemischte Eindrücke

Das Hotel und das Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Die private Hot Tub auf dem Zimmer mit Thermalwasser aus der lokalen Quelle war ganz toll! Das traditionell eingerichtete Zimmer hatte nur sehr dünne Futons und sehr harte Kissen - das muss man gewöhnt sein, wir haben schlecht geschlafen. Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße, es war recht laut. Die Klimaanlage ist am Boden installiert, d.h., es ist an den Füßen kalt und im Rest des Zimmers warm. Es gab keinerlei Haken oder Stangen, um z.B. Handtücher oder Jacken aufzuhängen. Das Essen findet zu festgelegten Zeiten statt - für uns war das sehr früh, 17.45 für das Abendessen. Es bestand aus vielen verschiedenen Speisen und war hauptsächlich lecker und frisch. Man sollte aber Fisch in allen Facetten mögen, auch zum Frühstück, sonst hat man ein Problem. Verschiedene Getränke waren inbegriffen, es gibt auch eine Getränkestation für zwischendurch. Das Hotel liegt nahe einer Bushaltestelle, von der man überall hin kommt.

A good adventutr

The location is very convenient via bus line and is beautiful. The hotel is traditional with tatami mats and futons. Food in the restaurant is also traditional. It’s good but not great and we found a really extraordinary restaurant down the hill. I expected trash service between the two days, which was kind of a big deal for our family. It was a great adventure, nice people, just maybe not totally for us.

The staff was not shy of attempting to utilize English while helping foreign visitors, which was a great help when my Japanese couldn't help. The staff working in the restaurant, both during breakfast and dinner, were incredibly helpful, kind, and forthcoming when trying to converse. The homely feel of the room could be felt by these staff members, making the stay feel cozy throughout. Not only was the staff kind, but the elegance and taste of the food elevated the experience by miles. Thank you so much for the experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Ichinoyu a lot, room is very comfortable and newly renovated. The welcome drink and meals really showcase the hospitality of Japanese high standard. We felt being very well taken care of. Onsen environment is very peaceful, I spent the whole afternoon there looking at the trees and listening to birds sing. We had a great time and will definitely come back next time we are in Hakone.

This was my first time staying in a ryokan and it did not disappoint. Loved the private onsen in the room and the traditional Japanese beds were surprisingly comfortable. The kaiseki meals were delicious and amazing! The meals are served in the restaurant, instead of in your room like more traditional ryokans, but was just as great of an experience. We used the nearby bus to get around to explore Hakone. Highly recommend staying at Susukinohara Ichinoyu!

The property is fairly new, though there's not much to do inside the propery as there's no common entertainment or things to do in hotel. Resturant is ok but not up to other ryuken's standard. The convenient store nearby is a great plus.

A beautiful ryokan in a secluded area but essily accessible by bus. Family mart is next door. Wonderful amenities, the most elaborate dinner and breakfast packages (if you want to try a traditional Japanese meal, THIS is it!), wonderful private onsen in room and friendly staff. Highly recommend. You will not regret your visit.

We were a party of eight with two seniors and two young kids and all of us enjoyed our stay. The stay was very comfortable and the seafood dinner and Japanese breakfast were both excellent. We would definitely return. Staff were great and super helpful.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel/ryokan, it has clean and spacious room with private onsen. There is a Family Mart right beside it which is great. The other dining options nearby are about 20min walk away, so it will be better to drive. The hotel does offer dinner at it's restaurant but you need to reserve before 7pm the day before you want to dine there. We took the option with breakfast which is the usual Japanese spread with seasonal fish. Will stay here again for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The highlight was definitely the onsen - so relaxing and peaceful. The entire atmosphere is very calm, making it a perfect place to unwind. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I visited on a solo trip and truly enjoyed my time. Highly recommended!

Loved staying at this almost 400 year old onsen! I stayed two nights, which was perfect for me on my little two week solo Japan adventure. My room with the private onsen was clean and spacious. The food… oh my lanta, THE FOOD. Amazing. Different breakfast and dinner every day/night. The service provided by staff like Mr. K Nagashino during service, check-in and check-out, was very hospitable. The private onsen was also a plus for me since I have a lot of tattoos and didn’t want to offend/be disrespectful to anyone (or pay for the patches they had available there since I would of had to buy like 12 lol) by using the public onsens. So I can’t speak on those. But it was very relaxing being able to look out into the mountains of Hakone on a rainy/snowy day from my in-room onsen. Just know that there is a road near those rooms, which didn’t bother me at all. My only hassle was getting there since I took the bus. But the employees at the bus stops/terminals were a big help in addition to using Google maps. Will definitely be back! And would 10/10 recommend!
