都内在住ですが仕事の都合で今回一泊いたしました。

大変綺麗なホテルで、新大久保を満喫するには申し分のない立地、そしてスタッフの方にも大変親切なご対応をいただきました。
シャワーの水圧が強いのも良かったです。

近々また利用させていただきます。

Lovely charming hotel with free light breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Room charming ans modern. Very comfortable ans very secure. Will stay again. Thank you for taking care of us!

Hospitable , accommodating, nice hard working staff. The place was super clean. The area surrounded by restaurants and so close to the train station. If you are not able to use the staircase, let them know ahead of time because there’s no elevator.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would go back the next time we visit.

This hotel was SO cute. It was also clean, quiet and welcoming. My room was so comfortable and had even more amenities than I had expected. I took the best shower of my life there. They have a little snack room where you can get food three times a day plus a happy hours. Everything is included. Really close to the train and lots of places to eat and walk in the neighborhood. Bonus was they had free laundry and provide the laundry soap! I was sad I was only staying two nights. I would have loved to stay a lot more.

This Hotel was located right next to train station and pretty much in the middle of the action in Shinjuku. Walk right outside the hotel and instantly have food options within steps of the property. The hotel itself was nicely updated in the rooms and was fairly stylish all around. It was also surprisingly very quiet considering the location. The breakfast was bread and coffee but better than nothing. But the real value of this hotel is location for sure, and it’s worth a lot!

My family stayed at this hotel for two nights and three days, and there was not a single inconvenience during our stay. All of the staff were kind and provided quick responses, and the hotel’s location was excellent since it was very close to the subway station, making it easy to get to major tourist attractions. In addition, the café that offered complimentary snacks and light meals was outstanding and the food was very delicious. We were truly satisfied with our stay and would love to come back again.

The rooms are bigger than most around that areas. Hotel is new and it gives the feeling of staying in a ryokan.

Only con is the stairs especially you need to carry the baggage up the stairs. Otherwise I would give it a full rating

This is a hidden gem of an establishment in the heart of Tokyo! The staff took care of me as if I were family and for that I’m so grateful! This will be my go to place for now on every time I go to Japan!

This tiny and precious hotel was a surprise to us. Close to Shinjuku station, on a calm little alley, the room decoration is cozy and brand new. There was a small and delicious complimentary breakfast available to the guests, so, we didn't have to eat out. We could extend our check out in one hour due to the time of our train. Only good things to say about Matsunoi Shurin. You won't regret staying there.

That staff was very welcoming. The location was perfect for walking into Shinjuku or getting to Shin-Okubi station for an easy ride anywhere in Tokyo. Laundry was free, there was light breakfast in the morning, and sake and soba in the evening.

What a hidden Gem! Fantastic hotel with fantastic hosts. I checked in late they were very accommodating, the room was great smart TV for a movie before bed. Super clean room, hot shower, great layout would 10/10 book here again!

Clean room that includes everything you need. Very friendly and helpful staff. Located in a nice lively neighborhood and less than 5 minutes walking distance to the subway station. Would highly recommend. The only downside is that you do hear a lot of what is happening on the street, but I guess you have that almost everywhere in Tokyo. Great value for money.

We stayed 3 nights with Hotel Matsunoi Shurin and it was easily the best stay during our 2 weeks in Japan.
The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located near public transportation, literally a 4 minute walk away, yet off the busy street so it was still quiet and relaxing.
The hotel itself is updated, well cared for and clean. The room we stayed in had a separate toilet from the shower/ sink which was nice. It also had a closet space which was very helpful. Overall it was pretty spacious for a Japanese hotel. And again, very modern and updated. Photos are actually pretty realistic to what you get- which is not always the case! All the amenities that we needed were provided by the hotel- toothbrush, comb, shampoo/conditioner, razor etc. they also had a hair dryer and if needed, you could borrow an iron from the front desk. There was laundry available and it was FREE!
There was also a rec room that had water, coffee and snacks for guests, free of charge. Apparently they even had a sake happy hour.
The staff members were so kind! Helped with whatever we needed- super friendly and we even got a hug on our way out. Really appreciate this hotel.
There are a few restaurants and bars along the street leading up to the hotel, perfect for late night snacks. Also a convini less than 3 minutes away.
We would totally stay with Hotel Matsunoi Shurin again- we’re already planning our next visit to Tokyo :)

One of the best rooms I’ve stayed during my time here in Japan. Very comfortable pillows and so easy to access the JR Shin-Okubo station which is one stop from Shinjuku and about 2-3 from Shibuya if you’re interested in that area. Also just 45-50 mins away from the HND which is perfect distance for me. Even though you’re super close to the tracks, I was never once woken up or interrupted by any sounds of trains. Learned it opened recently in August so it’s very clean and reliable. They have a nice little lounge area on the ground floor and the staff were super nice and kind. Would definitely stay again!!!

This room was one of the biggest of my stay in Japan, the staff was friendly and helpful during the checkin process. The smell from the neighboring restaurant might put off some people but overall this was a good experience.

We had a family room that had a microwave & small range. The hotel has a dining room but does provide complimentary snacks during the day. The staff we very helpful & the hotel is located in Korea so the street has food from many nations. Nice touch they gave comfortable Japanese robes to wear. It is a block away tom 2 subway stations

위치 : 신오쿠보 역에서 가끼워서 밤에도 안심하고 바로 걸어올 수 있었습니다.

청결 : 제가 그동안 가 본 모든 해외여행과 국내여행을 통틀어 여기가 청결도 1위입니다. 진짜 ‘청결’이 뭔지 느껴지는 곳이었어요. 보통 일본 호텔들 가면 깔끔하다는 느낌을 받기는 했는데 여기는 그 이상 같았습니다.

직원 : 한분한분 모두 다 엄청 친절하십니다. 뭐든 다 배려해주시고 도와주시려 하셔서 정말 머무는 내내 행복했습니다.

세탁 : 1층에 세탁기가 있는데 호텔 로비에 말씀드리면 사용할 수 있게 해주신다고 하셨습니다.

식당 : 1층에 식당도 있는데, 간식거리도 있고 저녁엔 소바도 해주셔서 배고프신 분들이 굳이 밖에 나가지 않아도 배를 채울 수 있게 해주십니다.

유일한 단점(?)이라면 엘레베이터가 없다는 건데, 워낙 저층의 건물이라 딱히 힘들다는 걸 느끼진 못했습니다.

다음에 도쿄 방문할 일이 있으면 꼭 다시 오겠습니다! 행복하게 잘 머물다 갑니다 ㅎㅎ

Very kind and polite staff, very foreigner friendly, helped us with luggage and provided us with lots of assistance where needed.
Beautiful modern interior with lovely beds, AC and lighting.

Shower and toilet were fantastic also.

We ended up at the wrong version of the hotel at first but staff kindly led us to the appropriate version.

All the little extra touches were very much appreciated.

Location was also very good, a short walk away from lots of things to do!

If I ever return to Japan I'll be sure to stay with them again!

駅近で、とっても便利な立地。入口が和風で、素敵。すぐにわかります。スタッフも、しっかりしていて、とても親切。お部屋、サービス、大満足。
The location is very convenience for eat / shop (*not suvenir items) and close from Shin-Okubo (Yamanote-line) station which is next to Shinjyuku station.

Great stay and for great value. Highly recommend staying if you are traveling with 1-2 people. Location is super convenient, located right next to shin-okubo station which provides easy access to the rest of Tokyo and other lines. Appreciated the western power outlets and access to laundry machines. Staff were super friendly/helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
