Large hotel room. Clean. Lots of room. Great shower.

You can hear people walking around in the room above. The floor was paper thin and you could hear every step.

Had to re-wash clothing after using the washing machine. It left everything very musty smelling, could use a cleaning cycle.

The location was 15-20 minutes walk to train station, shopping, tourist stuff.

We had an excellent stay at Premium Apart MONday KYOTO GOJO. The room was spacious and clean and had an awesome shower (I looked forward to this after long days of sightseeing!). The fact that we had a washer/dryer in our room was a huge blessing. In the future, we will always try to find an apart hotel that has this convenience as it allows you to do a load of laundry every evening and therefore pack way less clothes! The location of the hotel was walking distance to the Gojo station (Karasuma line) from which we started most of our adventures. Nearby were also a 24hr Fresco supermarket, two drugstores, a small 100 yen store, and several restaurants (including McDonalds). The staff at the Hotel were awesome and extremely helpful. They booked us on a memorable Hotel MONday sponsored trip to the Miyama Winter Lantern Festival that was one of the many highlights or our stay in Kyoto. The manager Koji Ohta was gracious and kind and personally greeted us one morning. Overall we had an excellent stay at the Premium Apart MONday KYOTO GOJO, and will try to stay here again if we ever return to Kyoto.

The room was well equipped, clean and functional. The washer/dryer was easy to use. Irons are available.
The staff were friendly, professional and helpful at all times. They were happy to assist with any questions or needs. The area is close to picking transport including metro or buses and about a 10 minute walk to Kyoto main station. I would catch a taxi if you have luggage which is what we did.
I would stay here again.

I told the front desk clerk, as well as the manager on duty…bar none, this hotel was THE BEST hotel we have stayed out throughout our travels in North America, Europe and SE Asia.

Location was great; within 5 mins walk to 2 metro stations (1 of which is just 1 stop from Kyoto Station), convenience store (7-Eleven) and 2 local mini-markets. Room we booked was spacious and clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Used the luggage forwarding service recommended by hotel to send our luggage onwards to Osaka, and it was simple to use.

Fabulous professional and hospitable staff. Pristine and spacious accommodation. Comfortable beds and modern Japanese feel. A short 15 minute walk to many attractions.

It is near a major street. It was a bit noisy even on the upper levels with a few sirens and loud vehicles. But not too bad.

This accommodation is premium indeed! It’s a beautiful place to stay. Everything looks newly done. Clean, spacious room with everything you need there like in-room washer/dryer, flatscreen tv, large couch, weight scale, kitchen amenities, microwave/oven, fridge, and modernized bathroom and shower. And oh, the Toto bidet that warms the tush, we will miss also. :) You can get free toothbrushes, toothpaste, swabs/cotton pads, tea, shaving cream, liquid detergent, and few other packets and reasonably priced bottled water (cheaper than 7-11) you can get from the front desk. It’s not far from Kyoto Station by car, close to a lot of eateries, stores, and 7-11 and 8-9min walk away from two transit lines. Staff cleans rooms periodically depends on length of stay. Some front desk women are pretty quiet but friendly and professional. Will stay there again next time and recommend to my friends and family.

Overall i'm happy with Premium Apart MONday KYOTO GOJO. Hotel staff are nice, room clean and property condition are good. The only things no good is serounding hotel limited food to choose. I have to walk about 15 mins to Sijio.

Amazing stay at the brand new Monday hotel. Very spacious and comfortable. Only thing is to try to get a room not facing a building because the lack of natural light can make it tough to wake up! 😅 Nice location as well, only a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro stop and the river!

The property is farily new. Everything is very clean and new and you can’t hear the neighbors or the street traffic. I am very picky and for the price paid, I rate this hotel 10/10. I don’t think I have ever rated a hotel that high. The workers were very courteous. The hotel was very clean. The kitchen, fridge, shower, 2 toilets, everything was 2nd to none.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We loved this hotel! So well laid out. There were 4 of use and I was worried we'd be annoyed to be in the same space for 10 days, but we weren't! It was so well laid out with the bathroom on one side and the shower on the other with 4 sinks in the room, a washer/dryer that worked. A comfortable couch. It was very clean too! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I really think it was one of the best hotels I ever went to!

One thing I appreciated was your little kitchenette with the fridge and microwave. We used them a lot.

My husband and I stayed here from 12-17 Nov and it was memorable. Top notch in terms of cleanliness , hospitality, and service! No problem in communicating with staff in English. They’re also patient and helpful.
They have a booklet (translation from Japanese to English) in the room just on how to operate the electronics and even the tv remote. Such thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. Will definitely stay here again when we come to Kyoto.
The location of the hotel is fantastic too. Walking distance to Gojo station and there’re two 24 hours fresco less than 800m away.

Staff was very helpful, room was spacious , good layout, clean and bright. Washer/dryer machine looks like new, easy to operate. We just tossed dirty clothes in each day, then ran it when it’s half full, then started it before we leave the room in the morning. Clothes were fully dry when we got back from our day. Hotel also supplies laundry detergent packages.
Will definitely stay here again when we in Kyoto in the future

Staff was great. The room (suite) was clean and spacious. It was nice having 2 toilets and 2 sinks. The shower was fantastic, rain head option with great water pressure. The washer/dryer was so convenient and the hotel provides laundry detergent. The only thing I would suggest is softer (non-foam) pillows.

We are a family of 4 with two small children (6 and 4 years old). We always stay at MONday apartment hotels when we come to Japan. We chose this one because it’s our first time trying their premium chain and it did not disappoint. Everything was new and clean. It had the best shower we have had at a hotel before. The staff are very friendly and gave the kids some kids toiletries in a small bag and some candy. The area is quiet and walkable to transit lines (10 mins) and bus 4 min walk. There’s two grocery stores nearby. It’s walkable to Nishiki market (20 min walk) or 10 min bus ride. The room was very large with a nice big couch that can be a bed. Overall we had a wonderful time and will stay again.

MONday hotel is perfect for family stay. The room is spacious with a small kitchen, oven, microwave and laundry machine. Staffs are all very kind and helpful. They speak ENGLISH. This hotel also provides free shuttle to Miyama village and kinkakuji. Bus stops and Subway are not far away. They help to ship luggages. We are very happy to stay in this hotel when we came to Kyoto. Definitely will book it again next time when we come to Kyoto. A big thanks to all the staff.

Personal amable y dispuesto a ayudar.
La situación bien pero no la mejor, el metro y el autobús no están en la puerta, sólo un problema si se tiene 38 grados como en nuestro caso. Paseo agradable para ir por la noche hasta zona comercial y restaurantes en Pontocho.
El hotel tiene shuttle gratis a puntos turísticos como Kinkakuji temple y Miyama (este último está lejos y no nos mereció la pena). Estuvimos muy a gusto en este alojamiento.

The room is big for four of us. The sofa bed is so big can fit at least 6 people but we didn’t use it much. I could see the Kyoto tower which was very nice at night. The washer/dryer was our life saver. We loved the setting of the room so neat and practical and clean. We only stayed 3 nights so they didn’t have housekeeping service for us. But they provided all the towels for the stays. And if you need something you could get them in the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. They can communicate in English fluently. The only minor issue was the noise of the street. We stayed on 10/f which was the top floor. Our room was facing the street so at night we can hear some cars and ambulance making noises. And there was construction going on nearby so in the morning it can be a bit noisy. They gave us a gift at check out which was a nice touch. We loved this hotel. I think it called apartment but we had what we needed and we enjoyed the stays. Thank you!
