Excellent location in Ginza. Staff is nice, hotel is clean. Room is a little small. 10steps from the door to the other end of the room. I didn’t like the layout since bathroom is not separate from bed. But for Japan, it’s same efficient use of space. Breakfast buffet is very nice too.

The room was amazingly clean. Check in was fast and easy. Check out was a computerized self-checkout, which only took a couple of minutes. The breakfast buffet was well worth the price. Good variety of mostly western food. The gym was small with a stair climber, 2 treadmills and a bike. Conveniently located acrosss the street from Shimbashi Station, which has lots of good restaurants. Bed was softer than most Japanese hotel beds, and the room was larger than most Tokyo rooms. They have 2 robots or room deliveries.

My first time in Japan and we love the area. Super convenient location, restaurants, shopping, a park, and close to the train station.

Great location, modern hotel with super comfortable rooms. Bathroom, shower and bed have all high quality features for a hotel that isn’t too expensive for it’s location. Another little thing that matters to me is the room had a silent fridge which is always great for me when I go to sleep.
The staff was professional and nice to interact with, very helpful.
Couple of negative points : no washer and dryer, staff told me i would have to walk 10 minutes to a laundry place ( was snowing in Tokyo) so no thanks, and no ice machine ( need to ask the bar to get ice in little cups )
Good hotel but because of the lack of washer and dryer I will probably choose another hotel next time I am in Tokyo

I was in a queen size and it was spacious compared to typical hotel rooms in Tokyo. Good location (only 5min walk to Shimbashi Station). Staff were very nice and helpful.

Everything was great! Super clean and in a good location, but it’s too small for two people. I struggled to understand where I was supposed to put our luggages. It was hard for the room to not look cluttered because there was no room for our things.

Pros: Clean rooms. Great location. Onsite parking. Spacious rooms. Bar & restaurant onsite.

Cons: No washcloths of any type offered. No amenities. Staff accents were hard to understand (non Japanese), resulting in requests not being understood. Seems to be a hot spot for foreign travelers.

Overall, it’s a good stay. Would recommend, just bring a washcloth.

This hotel was too small to be comfortable but it was not a bad experience. The rooms had no storage space - no closet, no drawers, barely anywhere to put my luggage. Even by Japanese standards it was tiny. The room didn't have a chair, just a very uncomfortable stool. The bed was comfy, the gym was great, but I wouldn't stay in a room that tiny. Also the lobby area is tiny if you exclude the restaurant. There's only one couch and two chairs - if you sit at any other table you're technically in the restaurant and they will make you order something. Plus they are very aggressive about no outside food or drinks at those tables. But the lobby gets crowded and noisy so there's nowhere to sit. Also the staff was really strict about late checkout. They only gave me 30 extra minutes despite the fact that I was sick and when those 30 minutes were up they called me exactly on the dot to tell me it was time to come down. No chill. Baggage storage area was overflowing, felt a little comfortable leaving my laptop there even though the staff was being vigilant.

I stayed at Yotel Ginza for ten days and overall it was a good experience. The rooms were quiet, very modern, and the beds were comfortable and clean.The room, like most hotels in Tokyo is small in size, with the bathroom sink in the main room and not a separate room.

The room had great amenities which included bottles of water. If you required a shower cap, slippers etc, you need to ask at the front desk.

The hotel is very close to Shimbashi, and it took minutes walk to the train entrance, or five minutes or less to the big entrance.

There is a Family Mary and Don Quijote around the corner, which is very convenient. There's also a Starbucks across the road.

The service was good, but I didn't like the check in process of having to enter the details myself, as it's a tiresome process after a late flight. Thankfully staff are on hand to assist.

The buffet breakfast was good, and there was a waffle maker that was fun and tasty. There's also a good range of fresh fruit, pastries, and hot food items. The dinner options were good, but a bit expensive for Japanese standards.

The hotel can arrange luggage transfers to airports or train stations, which is a fantastic offering. This needs to be booked 24 hours in advance.

I stayed at Tokyo Ginza for 6 nights. This property is very convenient to Ginza shopping area, subway, and Japan Rail station. They are all within short walking distance from this hotel. If you are looking for typical hotel services, pool, spa, gym etc. then this is not for you. If you are looking for extremely clean and comfortable room, convenience to shopping and restaurants, easily accessible to various transportation options, then you can't go wrong with this hotel. I would stay at this location again if opportunity present itself and will recommend this hotel to all friends planning to visit Tokyo in future.

Location is great, close to Shinbashi station and also Ginza Line and Ginza main area. Staff is quite helpful.
Most of all I like the room - it is bright, the design gives a new vibe. Also I appreciate the design gives the room plenty of space to walk and open suitcases.
The room also looks very clean to me - staff is doing a good job,
If I had to say what could be better, I'd like to have more hooks right by the shower to hang my clothes, and I wish that the price could be better

I stayed in the Premium queen room, 6th floor. The ambient lighting was so perfect at night even during the day. The staff were extremely helpful and Tamang and Vivek are a power duo at the bar. They made my last night an enjoyable experience. Their stories of being from Nepal are also a treat. They showed me things that were new to me which i really appreciated. The location is incredible. 5 minute or less walk to the main Ginza line of Shimbashi. Located so well to all major visiting cities. Less than 25 minutes to just about anywhere youd like to go in tokyo with minimal transitions on different lines. Would 100% stay here again. Also if you like HOT showers, they get the job done. Only thing the room needs, is a microwave 😅

the hotel turned the small lobby and bar area into an event, and actually blocked guests from using the normal hallway to reach the elevators. When we tried to go upstairs, the staff acted disrespectfully, which is completely unacceptable — especially here.

I honestly don’t understand how a hotel can inconvenience paying guests just to host an event. A hotel should always prioritize its guests, especially in such a small property where an event disrupts everything.

Great location. 2-3 minute walk to shimbashi station. Very modern. If you are traveling alone or as a couple, 100% recommend. If you have small children, would probably skip. Kids can be loud and I could hear mine from near the elevator, which was pretty far from our room.

Amazing location! Steps away from Shimbashi station and right at the start of the Ginza strip. Rooms are slightly larger maybe than most Japanese hotels but they use the space way better than most with storage under the bed for all the luggage you had to buy because you spent too much at the Donki that’s a 15 sec walk from the hotel. This one is one of my top choices in Tokyo and we’ve stayed in lots. Also you need to walk a couple blocks to Roar coffee that opens at 8 am which is early for Japan. PS the rooms are very clean and as a 6’5 guy i appreciate a shower that is hung from the ceiling so not just getting my chest.

Certain things about the room were wonderful but other things were odd design choices. The glass door to the toilet was a poor choice for late-night bathroom visits. You couldn’t use the bathroom without disturbing everyone else in the room. Also, our room was advertised as having the adjustable bed but didn’t actually have it.

Now onto the good! The room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfy. Shower was the nicest we had the whole trip (though we would’ve liked a bath to soak achy feet). The couch was great to have for lounging after a long day. Bonus points for a Family Mart and Don Quijote on the same block!

Overall, the location is excellent and the place is clean.
However, the rooms are too small, and the bed placement is strangely awkward depending on the room.
Basic amenities are not provided unless you specifically request them individually.
The food is always the same, so it was just okay, but the quality itself wasn’t bad.
Unless the rooms become twice as big, I’m not sure if I’d visit again.

The room was very modern and clean. Checkin and checkout all by ourselves without any staff needed. There are happy hours in the hotel bar but you have to ask to get the menu. The gym is small but the equipment is good.
The location is great for exploring ginza and the harbour area.

Like most people who visit Tokyo for the first time I spent ages researching Tokyo and various hotels. It can certainly become overwhelming due to Tokyo's size, I am so pleased I chose Yotel in Tokyo. It's in the best location, within walking distance to shoppers paradise (incl uniqlo flagship store) and transport systems that will take you on your Tokyo adventures. If you fancy a stroll, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo station, Imperial palace and the famous fish market in Tsukiji are all about 25min walk from the hotel as well as many other attractions. The famous 7/11 and Family Mart are only a couple of minutes away and a great place to have breakfast. The staff at Yotel are approachable and super attentive. I will absolutely stay in this hotel again!

We got the king room and the room was actually very big for Tokyo and I felt like all of the space was utilized very well. I liked that it had usb plugs in the bedside tables/desk and the purple lighting was very nice. The internet seemed a little slow at times, but the fact that you could cast your tv shows from your phone to the tv was a plus. I didn’t notice an amenity bar that most hotels in Japan have - not sure if you just need to ask or they don’t have one. It was also a very convenient location with a FamilyMart next door and a huge Don Quijote across the street. I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels in Tokyo and will probably choose this one again on my next trip.

일단은 위치가 굉장히 좋았어요. 주소는 신바시지만 실제로들 바로 앞에 긴자 8초메라서 가까워요
아무래도 최근에 지어진 거라서 굉장히 세련 되었고, 침대가 엄청 크고 편했어요 안막 처리가 잘 되어 있고, 조용한 것도 장점이에요.
그리고 한국어를 잘 아는 일본인 스텝이 있어서 편했는데 너무 친절했어요

Absolutely terrible. This is NOT a 4 star hotel, more like a hostel setup. No bathroom, sink in the room, and a pullout couch style bed with not a real mattress. I checked out after one night from being so uncomfortable and the staff was not helpful at all in refunding my remaining nights.

Excellent service and location and rooms are decent size, we had three large suitcases and two carry ons and it wasn’t a problem at all. Service was always excellent. We went out one day and asked if they could call a restaurant once they opened to make a reservation that night and they did and confirmed by email … totally above and beyond. Will definitely stay here next time again. Great location too close to main line to get anywhere. Excellent !!!

I booked the day before while I was on the flight from Hawaii to Japan. Super easy and convenient to book on Expedia. I knew from living in Japan that hotel rooms were small, so I booked two rooms for the 4 of us, two adults and two kids. We were placed in one of the corner rooms (601 and 602). Even though they were not directly adjoining rooms, there was a door that closed from the hallway and a little area between both rooms that we had to ourselves. We put our suitcases there and was able to keep the rooms propped open when we were in the rooms and not sleeping. Additionally the beds were super comfortable and the rooms were super modern with USB and USB-C plugs. I was so thrilled that when we continued our travel to Osaka I looked specifically to book another YOTEL property there, but sadly they did not have one and we were dissapointed in our stay in Osaka - not here in Tokyo though! Kids loved that they had their own space, as well as the parents. In the future, I would seek out the YOTEL brand!
