Breakfast buffet was excellent, staff was extremely friendly, room was clean, and a plus for the room for travelers was that there was a washer/dryer unit in the room. Would recommend this room and will be back the next time I’m in Tokyo.

My favorite hotel! Such a nice experience. I loved the breakfast, refresh lounge and in-room washer/drier. Plus, all the staff were super nice. And I really love the location. We also stayed in Shinjuku but that meant we always had to go to a super busy subway station. Ginza is so much more manageable. We also stayed at a hotel that was double the price in Shinjuku bit this one was way better.

My wife and I spent four nights at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Tsukiji. We really enjoyed our time here. The hotel is located super close to the outer fish market, and is close to a metro stop that’ll connect you easily to everything else. We also liked the hotel’s proximity to Ginza. The room was on the smaller side compared to western hotels, but standard for Japan. I personally didn’t feel crammed given that every space was efficiently utilized (with for instance a corner couch and table). We appreciated the in-unit washer/dryer combo greatly. The breakfast buffet was very good. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly throughout the hotel. The hotel was also very clean.

I will definitely consider staying at this hotel again when I visit Japan in the future.

Clean, new, well located suitable for longer stays

Lock box too small. It needs to be bigger as it cannot even hold an iPad. For summer, Pajamas should be slimmer and cotton to breath. Some front young front desk statf need to more training on helping customers including on how to book restaurants and how to think about hotel guest needs generally. Some front desk were good but others were in over their heads!

Excellent cafes & bakeries nearby: Teatro Effe in Tsukiji.

Room on small side but hotel utilized space well and managed to include addtional perks like a large makeup mirror, wooden shoe horn. Loved laundry machine in room, large refrigerator/ freezer and microwave. Extra large shower completely enclosed and separate Toto, auto flush.

The staff at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Tsukiji were friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Our hotel room had everything we needed for our stay; we utilized the refrigerator, did a lite load of laundry, and slept well on the comfortable bed. The complimentary WiFi was easy to connect to. Highly recommend this hotel if anyone plans on staying in the Ginza neighborhood.

The hotel is a block from Tsukiji market. Very walkable to Ginza shopping area. Loved the washer and dryer in the rooms. Very attentive and welcoming staff! My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Tsukiji!

Very beautiful modern hotel, 15 mins walking from the famous Ginza 6 shopping center. Great breakfast, with gorgeous view of Tokyo Skytree from my breakfast table. We also booked a Tokyo City Tour through Expedia, which had a meeting point that was a 15 min walk from this hotel. My room wasn’t the cheapest available, & it still was very small, but has a washer and dryer, a refrigerator, & a microwave. Oh yeah, hotel had Netflix also!

This Mitsui garden has one of the best public baths I’ve experienced. Their breakfast is AMAZING too, grilled onigiri and the eggs!! Loved our stay and will definitely be back. The staff were all amazing too.

Nice but possibly overpriced

We stayed five nights at this hotel in May 2025. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, shower cubicle, robot toilet, safe and AC.

The hotel itself is well situated; close to shops, restaurants and public transport, and the staff are very friendly.

Housekeeping is every other day and basic things like getting the bins emptied require you making a request through the TV, which is somewhat tedious.

We also had an odd experience trying to book a taxi to Haneda Airport. We made the request two days before our flight. The next day we received a letter under our door saying they had tried but had not been able to book one. Do they only use/try one taxi company? We ended up hailing a taxi at the side of the street the morning of our flight, so it was fine but we would have preferred knowing a taxi had been organised.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to public transportation and major attractions nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance whenever needed. Amazing stay with my mom – we especially loved the hot spring!
The room was clean and cozy, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh options. The hot spring in the basement was definitely the highlight — so relaxing and well-maintained. My mom and I felt completely refreshed. Highly recommend this place!

Prijs/ kwaliteit hotel 7 op 10

Het hotel is heel mooi, maar voor die prijs verwacht je toch wat meer service.

De meerderheid van de personeel sprak zeer slecht engels.

De kamer is heel mooi, maar bleek uiteindelijk toch niet zo praktisch. Er waren verschillende gebreken zoals weinig plaats om uw bagage te stouwen.

Je moet zelf inchecken en dat gaat niet zo eenvoudig. Tot nog toe heb dit enkel maar meegemaakt in budgethotels.

Het ontbijt was ondermaats zeker voor de prijs die we betaalden. Wij zagen een ober de vaatdoek waarmee hij de tafels reinigde ook gebruiken om een borden te dresseren. De formule gedeeltelijk buffet, gedeeltelijk alle la carte bood geen voordeel.

Bij het in bewaring geven van je bagage moet je een code ingeven in een donker lokaal met een klein onduidelijk cijferslot.

This is a beautiful stay by Tsukiji market and close to Ginza shopping. The accommodations are clean and quite spacious compared to other Tokyo stays. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. This is now one of our favorite stays in the Tokyo area!

We just got back from Tokyo a few days ago and stayed at Mitsui Garden Ginza Tsukiji for four nights. I chose this hotel because it’s fairly new and the biggest draw for me was that each room has its own washing machine.

What I didn’t realize was that housekeeping is only offered every other day, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Because of the timing of our check-in, our room was only cleaned once during our entire stay. For a hotel that costs over $300 a night, that felt a bit off. Honestly, I think I could’ve stayed somewhere just as nice or nicer for under $200 a night in Tokyo.

The check-in process was also a mess. They expect guests to check in using a QR code at a machine, but the process was confusing and the line was chaotic. No one was actually using the self-check-in as intended. While the staff themselves were lovely and helpful, the experience didn’t match the price point.

On the plus side, we loved the location—Ginza Tsukiji isn’t overly touristy, which was perfect for us.

All in all, the stay was just okay. I wouldn’t book it again at that rate. If partial refunds were a thing, I’d definitely be asking for one.

地點太棒了，築地巿場就在旁邊，吃的一大堆。銀座走個6，7分鐘就到，逛街超方便。地鐵站很近去哪都可以。房間里的洗衣機真是太好用了，每天走路流很多汗剛好需要洗衣服。房間夠大，不會像一般商旅連箱子都打不開。下次如果再去東京，會考慮再待在這裏

Our room felt new and it was very clean. The shower cubicle was spacious and modern. We chose a room with a washer/dryer and that was very convenient. The hotel is close to subway stops and easy walking to the Imperial Palace. The reception and restaurant staff were welcoming and polite. We are very glad we chose this hotel. Only negative for us is that we were charged for early check in - we arrived around 12.20 for a 3pm check-in after an overnight flight from London and, although our room was ready, we had to pay around £30 extra to get into our room early. We could have said no but we were keen to shower before heading out. When we arrived in Kyoto, also a 3pm check in, the hotel there (not a Mitsui) offered us our room early as it was ready for no extra cost.

The room was very comfortable. It was spacious for two people. I liked the amenities in the room, especially the washing/drying machine. I also liked the breakfast. The food was very good.
It’s very accessible, with two train station in 5-10 mins of walking distance. There is also a Lawson’s close by which is very convenient. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Amazing hotel in Ginza, well-connected by train and Ginza shopping is within a walkable distance. We upgraded our room to a Queen and it was a lot more spacious than others we stayed in whilst in Japan. Would really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo!

Perfect for Comfort & Convenience

Great location near Tsujiki market, train lines and walking distance to lots of konbinis, restaurants and shopping! Very spacious rooms, with laundry, microwave, fridge & freezer! Clean hotel with a lounge area. Staff are professional and hospitable. Make sure to ask for laundry detergent if you plan on doing laundry. Wish we had time to check out the baths!

Room size was larger than expected as compared to previous other Mitsui Garden eg Premier Garden that’s down the road. Like that the toilet bowl is separate from the shower area but there’s a lack of clothes hanging area if intend to close the sliding door to change in that entry way. There’s only one hook next to the sink which makes it really inconvenient to reach for towel. Either the toilet door should have a long handle to hang towel or extra hooks to hang clothes and towel. For 3 mornings, visited 2nd floor to get coffee but almost always no creamer. During peak hours such as morning time should constantly check and refill creamer since it’s popular time for morning coffee / tea. The staff called back to inform creamer was available about 1h later, which was thoughtful. Also there wasn’t directions or information shared about room cleaning service. We had to find out by reading the wooden notes in room.

Second time staying at Mitsui Garden Tsukiji.. we always have a wonderful stay.. from the great hotel amenities to the wonderful staff.. Absolutely loved our stay! New hotel. Right by the Tsukiji market for delicious food early in the morning. Central to all Tokyo neighbourhoods. Several subway lines nearby. Felt incredibly safe and quiet, yet only minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ginza.
