Excellent location

Great amenities I love Refa equipment and was pleasantly surprised they had the showerhead and dryer, hotel staff were helpful and polite, breakfast was delicious. Overall in a great location, the room was also very spacious and comfortable. Overall one of my favorite stays, would highly recommend this hotel.

This place was 10/10. The staff was phenomenal, so kind and helpful. From the welcome drinks to the origami given to my little one helping us get Yamato luggage forwarding situated, they gladly went above and beyond. They have complimentary umbrellas to use when it rains. Rooms are so clean and modern, although no much space for your luggage, but the in-room washer/dryer was awesome. We didn’t try out the onsen or gym but looked great. The hotel itself is so zen and impeccable. Not many kids but definitely kid friendly. Worth the upgrade to stay here. We tried the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was 10/10 and breakfast 7/10 but portions are small for the price but it was convenient. Will definitely be back to this location!

This property was awesome. I would give it five stars all around. The location is right next to all of the boutique shopping. You are a three block walk from Nishiki market. Three blocks in the other direction, you have the main tourist shopping district, but the area of the hotel is way cooler for shopping because it has all of these very cool Japanese brands. The breakfast was great and the kids ate for free. we also had dinner at the hotel. Food was great but service was very slow. You are an easy Uber away from all of the shrines and main attractions. Walkable to Pontocho Ally and Gion in about 15/20 minutes. The hotel lobby is beautiful and brand new. Staff was very kind and helpful. We got a king room with a sofa bed, and it was spacious with a great lighting and super modern amenities. Highly recommend.

Staffs were very nice and helpful, but the room was unexceptionable, when I opened the curtain all I saw was a wall next to the window almost within reaching, it seemed like I was in a prison, and this hotel they reused slipper, this hotel should be 2-3 stars (not 4-5 stars).

Clean room, WiFi was provided and all staff were helpful and very professional.

Only small down side in my opinion was the breakfast. Don’t stay at hotels much so not sure this is the norm, but the choice of main breakfast did not change. Buffett choices were great though

The staff could not do enough to help, we felt very welcome, the room was fantastic (although we did have a view of a chainlink fence and a wall) the Onsen was great, the breakfast was great and the location couldn't have been better!

This hotel is the epitome of customer service, comfort and incredible thoughtfulness. The staff are friendly professional and courteous. The beds are comfortable and well appointed. The rooms are large clean and comfortable. With many perks like complimentary water and pyjamas. The hotel is situated in a great spot for shopping, site seeing or strolling around Kyoto. I will stay here on my next visit.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The highlight of this hotel is truly the staff! they were incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their hospitality made the whole experience feel welcoming and special. The hotel itself was comfortable and well-maintained, and everything ran smoothly throughout my stay. Great service. Location is great (next to the Kyoto museum and lots of restaurants and shops nearby.) also close to the Nishiki market and other places to shop.
Room was spacious and had great tech to control lights/ac etc. great Sake bar on-site too.

The breakfast is amazing i love the cheese they serve is made right there.
Laundry coin and some rooms has a option of a washer/dryer machine.

This hotel in Kyoto is a gem! Great location, clean and beautiful rooms, and excellent service. The breakfast is very good, and the on-site baths are lovely. We stayed with a toddler and found the staff very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Everyone speaks English properly, so we were able to communicate with them easily. The room was clean and nice and big enough. The location is great, has a market around it and close to touristic locations.

One note is that if you get a room above the onsen, good luck. There is a drum or something that will beat occasionally all day, even early morning and late at night. Aside from that it was a nice place.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very attractive and modern. Our room was large and well laid out. The location is ideal-a brief walk to Nishiki market and 18 minutes to Gion. Many restaurants are nearby. Kyoto station is about a 15 minute taxi ride.

The staff is excellent and helpful.

The property is meticulously maintained.

I would skip the restaurant for dinner. The food is tasty but the portions are small even by Japan standards. We did not eat breakfast there.

We would stay here again without question.

Our stay was wonderful, probably the best hotel we stayed in during our 11 nights in Japan. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The bar was a nice feature when coming back from a long day of exploring. The onsen was also lovely, I went around dinner time and I was the only one there. Would definitely recommend to others, I don’t have anything negative to comment on about this property!
