浅草駅まで近く、観光地も近かったので、とてもよかったです！
道路から近いので、車の音などに対処して耳栓を用意してあるなど、お店の方の配慮がありました。

お部屋も清潔感があり、落ち着ける空間で楽しく過ごさせていただきました。

繁華街ではないので、ホテル周辺に０時過ぎまで営業している飲食店はほぼ無かったですが、その分治安は悪くないと思います。

シンプルで快適。

室内でWi-Fiが繋がりにくかったのでフロントに問い合わせたところ、他のWi-Fiを提案していただいて快適に過ごせました。
テレビとバスタブが無く、必要最低限のシンプルな間取りです。
素泊まりなので私的には十分でした。

都営浅草線「浅草駅」A4出口を出て左を見ると
ホテルがすぐに分かりました。
立地がとても良いです。

都営浅草線の浅草駅の出口を出て本当にすぐ！で驚きました。スタッフの方はフレンドリーで、部屋もシンプルで必要なものは揃っていました。大通りから一本入ったところですが、夜は騒々しさはなく、静かでした。
子連れでも問題なく過ごせました！

スタッフ全員の対応が親切かつ丁寧でしたし、部屋もキレイでリラックスして滞在できました。
子どもが体調を崩してしまい、スタッフに体温計の借用を申し出たら、快く貸していただき、風邪薬まで出してくれました。
朝食付きでしたが、料理も非常においしく、子ども達も美味しそう食べていたのが印象的でした。
どうもありがとうございました。

部屋の窓が障子のためか、外の光と音がかなり入ってきます。朝はとても明るいので起きられて良いですが、夜は少しうるさいです。それ以外はとても快適に過ごせました！ありがとうございました。

まず良かった点は最寄りの浅草駅に近かったところあと施設が新しい割に安価で宿泊させてもらい綺麗でした。
悪かった点は今回2泊させてもらったんですがチェックインの際部屋の清掃は必要ないのでタオル交換をお願いしたんですがタオル交換されていませんでした。
次に窓に障子がはめ殺しでつけてあって窓は開けることはできませんでした。カーテンもないので夜になると外の明るさで眠るのに苦労します。アイマスク必須です。他の部屋は分かりませんが遮光カーテンは付けた方がいいと思います。受付の人は親切そうで明るい方だったのでそこが改善されればまた利用したいです。

Really nice staff - helpful and present. The laundry was a major perk. The location can’t be beat right around the corner from the train and Nakamise/Senso-Ji. Food was very good! I will stay here again no question if we come to Tokyo again.

I stayed at this hotel in the heart of Asakusa, and the location is easily its biggest advantage. It’s perfect if you want to explore the area, and the hotel itself is easy to find. My room was spacious and clean, and the staff were attentive throughout my stay.

However, the lack of soundproofing was a major drawback. As a light sleeper, I found it difficult to rest because noise from the restaurant below and possibly a nearby bar carried into the room well past 1 a.m. Even with the complimentary earplugs provided by the hotel, the noise was still noticeable. At times, it genuinely felt like I was standing right outside on the street.

I was also disappointed by the limited amenities. Items commonly provided at other hotels—such as toothbrushes, shower caps, body towels, and q-tips—were missing, which was inconvenient.

Overall, while the location and room quality were great, the noise issues and lack of amenities made my stay less comfortable than expected.

We had an amazing stay at Banrai Hotel! The room was incredibly spacious, spotless, and stocked with lots of useful amenities. We were comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is unbeatable, just a 1-minute walk from Asakusa Station, which made getting around Tokyo super convenient.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they kindly stored our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. Their hospitality really made a difference.

We loved our stay so much that Banrai Hotel has officially become our new go-to place in Tokyo. Highly recommended!

Unbeatable location, great for families!

Banrai Hotel was the first hotel of my planned trip to Japan that I was excited about: mostly because of its location (literally right outside one of the exits of Asakusa Station, which is one of my favorite parts of Tokyo), but also because it was new, modern, stylish, with a cool-looking restaurant on the ground floor. A little on the spendy side, but that's to be expected from a boutique hotel (whatever the hell that term means).

In reality, the Banrai Hotel lives up to just about all of my expectations. The location is simply UNBEATABLE. Our room, which was furnished with four twin bunk beds, was surprisingly large, and awesome for our family, which included two toddlers; the mattresses were "comfy enough"; there's no TV, which I found I did not miss. There was only a small shower (no ofuro), which was a little disappointing, as was the $10/day room cleaning fee (you get one free cleaning if you stay 3+ days, which we did, and was the only time we used it).

The laundry on the ground floor is *chef's kiss*: those industrial washer/dryer units do it all in a single go (60 mins), and don't require you to insert any detergent, making our mid-trip clothes cleaning effort cinch! 1,000 yen ($6) is an absolute STEAL for that level of convenience!

This is an absolutely excellent hotel, and one that I would not hesitate to book again in the future.

This was so super close to the big transit station and nearby several tourist attractions. The staff is accommodating to English-speaking guests. The rooms are very cute and feel more uniquely Japanese than standard hotel rooms. The included breakfast is fresh and delicious.

Great location and large room

Very convenient location right at Asakusa station. Get off at exit A4 and you are literally there, yet the place is quiet. Large room for 4 people with comfortable bed.

Perfect location for a Tokyo Trip.
Interesting things around in foot distance, only 1 Minute to a good station, others very close. Good oldschool atmosphere and attractions around, also not too loud and not as crowded later at night/early morning.
Easily accessibly with english and so on, but still authentic and can go a few streets of main locations to not be in a too touristy area.
With some good timing the prices for the hotel were very affordable (50€ per person per day avg).
Personal is very nice and helpful but the offered services and facilities are a bit mediocre.
Rooms are relatively clean and comfortable, but very small and not fancy. The restaurant/bar downstars is okayish.
I liked the unrelated roof terrace bar thingy on top, a bit relaxed young casual atmosphere.
Daily breakfast was fine, solid quality and japanese style but with some western influences. But after a week or so I preferred to be flexible with timing and have very different styles on my own.

Overall the hotel itself isnt that great, but it does what is needed and has very nice staff. The perfect location and decent price make up for the small rooms and so on.

I love the mix of traditional and modern style of the room that we stayed in. The room is also very spacious and the beds are big and comfortable. The location is excellent, it’s very close to the station and famous landmarks, and also convenience stores. i will definitely book this place again when I come back to Japan

The hotel and room were very clean and quiet. Room was spacious enough for 3 adults to comfortably sleep in and have room to sit and eat. We took Narita Express directly to Asakusa station and only had to walk 50m to hotel. Excellent location!!

Banrai was perfect for our first two nights in Tokyo. It was so convenient to get there from the airport via the subway.

The room was comfy for the four of us (two teens and 2 adults).

Breakfast is not easy to find on the weekends near this hotel so arranging for breakfast at the hotel might be a good option. We are at 7-11 which as wed heard was a totally fun and good experience in Tokyo.

Great hotel with basic bed.

Place was super clean and staff was friendly. The only thing that is an issue is the bed is uncomfortable. I weight about 150 and I can feel the springs. It’s tolerable for 1 night stay but for this reason I can’t recommend. Everything else is great. Clean and good shower pressure. And they even recived packages for me and let me store luggage when checked out. Price was great for location.

My family and I booked this hotel last minute and we loved it! From the location to the service, this place is awesome. They have an elevator stairs to go up to the rooms, including a restaurant on the first floor. We booked a room suitable for up to 8 people and it was very clean and presentable. Our only issues were the bathroom door is opaque so you won’t get much privacy when using the toilet/shower and there was not a lot of noise filtration shielding us from the outside, as a lot of noise was able to come inside the room (but was expected because of New Years, not the hotel at fault). Other than that, this hotel was awesome! I’d book again :)

We pre-booked and paid for our rooms in May 2024 for an October stay. Come October, we showed up with confirmations in hand and was told that the rooms had been overbooked and we didn't have the rooms we requested. Staff was apologetic and immediately re-booked us with an Air bnb that had 1-bathroom/toilet for 12 people. We finally checked-in at around 10 pm but was told that we had to be checked out by 10 am due to a previous booking. Not sure how the overbooking happened but check 72-hours before you arrive regardless of having paid ahead for your stay.

Great stay overall - breakfast was very filling (rice, miso soup, egg, sausage, fish, cold tea), and extremely convenient location right next to Ginza and Asakusa lines. Room was a bit on the smaller side, and the ceiling a bit low too, but overall okay even with two luggage bags (can’t really open them both at the same time). It can be a bit noisy at night because of the rooftop bar so something to note when booking. Great value for location and service.

Fantastic location and great staff, but be aware that the Standard Room listed on expedia has NO WINDOW. The expedia lists that rather important detail under 'other'. It felt like staying in a storage closet.

Staff are incredibly kind. Walkable to all tourist areas in asakusa. Only complaint is there is a bar below and on top of rooms so it is quite noisy. They do offer free ear plugs.
