居心地がいい

地下鉄の駅からすぐのところにあるため、移動するのにとても便利です。近くにコンビニがあります。1階にはいつでもいただけるパンや飲み物がありありがたかったです。お部屋はとても清潔で居心地が良いのですが、枕の匂いがとても気になりました。それだけがとても残念に思いました。

大好きなホテル…また利用させていただきます。

烏丸御池（北西）にありますので、京都駅からも、各方面へのアクセスも抜群です。スタッフの対応が丁寧で素晴らしいホテルです。また、部屋もウッド調の落ち着きます。フロント横にドリンクバー、パンの食べ放題があり、そこも良かったです。また宿泊したいと思えるホテルです。

今回もとても快適に過ごすことができました。チェックイン前に荷物を預かっていただこうとホテルに行きました。その時にホテルの方が声をかけてくださり、パンとコーヒーをいただきました。滞在中いつでもいただけるのはありがたいです。冷蔵庫があまり冷えないものなのかそれだけが残念に思いました。

便利でリラックス出来るホテル

今の時期(12月中旬)にしては外国人が多い、と感じました。多分 ロビーでの無料コーヒーやジュース、焼きたてパン(オリーブオイルや塩も有り) が人気なのでしょう。とても美味しかったです。
開業したての新しい施設や立地の便利さ、スタッフの自然で親切な対応も高評価です。
ただ、家に居るように寛いで欲しいから と、ロビーラウンジに部屋のパジャマとスリッパでＯＫ、と言われたのには驚きました。やはりそこはホテルとしての最低限のルールを崩してはいけないのでは？　
部屋のクリーニングには残念な点がありましたが、外国からの宿泊客なら気にならないレベルなのかも。　今後、年数が経った時にも気持ち良い滞在が出来るかどうかは、毎日のクリーニングにかかってると思いますから頑張って頂きたいです。
とは言え、京都のお気に入りホテルの一つです。

Excellent modern clean hotel

Excellent super modern hotel with reasonable size rooms within 5 minutes walking distance of metro.

Good base for Kyoto with regular buses to Gion.

Great little hotel. Very quiet and calm. Great showers. Lots of pastries and drinks, which solved the problem of breakfast, especially for us, as we woke up at 5 am most days. (We noticed that some guests filled up bags of croissants after checking out, which was really sad to see, as they just emptied out the box of pastries into a plastic bag and left other guests nothing.) there is a 7/11 and a metro line right next to it. And some nice restaurants around too.

I loved this small hotel! It was clean and conveniently located. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pastries and drinks were certainly appreciated after getting back to the hotel from a long day of exploring. The room was small but had enough room to lay out our 2 carry-on suitcases. The bath area was fabulous. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic venue with a great vibe and well furnished/kitted social space. The free tea, coffee and pastries (and breads) were above our expectations and helped to set us up well for our days out in the city. The range of board games and books was also a pleasant surprise. The staff were helpful and polite from our arrival and were always willing to help. The room had a good range of amenities and very enjoyable shower. We did find the space in the room a little limited and the pillows were too hard for our personal liking. These are minor niggles and overall had a great time at this hotel.

This hotel is GREAT. It was by far the best hotel of our entire Japan trip, and we stayed at other very good hotels. The room is spacious, clean, and has a fantastic shower. All amenities you could need are available. The lobby area was so nice to hang out in during times that we needed to rest our feet from the 30,000 step days.

The rooms were fairly large (for Kyoto) with the subway close to hand. Hotel was clean and looked good and the staff were very polite and helpful. The free breads and pastries was a good idea, but with a 7/11 literally on the corner we didn't make much use of them. Subway is about five minutes walk away and while there weren't a large number of restaurants (that we found) nearby, what we did find were good. A good hotel well situated. I'd definitely go there again.

This was our favorite hotel during our trip to Japan. It was very comfortable :) The room had more than enough space for luggage and to sit in addition to very comfortable beds and nice touches like pajamas to wear at night. The shower/bath area was delightful. The common area was a nice place to relax and enjoy games and music. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very nice place to stay.

Easy access to station. Very modern facilities and the pastries were wonderful. Staff were very friendly. Only downside was that it only had one washing machine but Clean Hands laundromat was close by and for 1000 yen our washing was done and dried in 50 minutes.

It was a wonderful and comfortable stay in Kyoto (close to the subway). We walked home from the center (Nishi Market) and there are great roasters with delicious coffee around. I would definitely book this accommodation again :)

I was so impressed with this hotel. Best shower I’ve had in my life. The room was small but had absolutely everything you need, excellent amenities, separate toilet room with additional sink, plus tub and shower were a separate room that you could lock the door and get super steamy while someone else used the sink and counter space. Having that type of space to get ready was refreshing!

It was my second time at this hotel and it was once again awesome. I really appreciated the new laundry setup where we could state which room we were in - a bit less stressful. I missed the pin set up this time round but it was still more organized this way.

Bread I only got to enjoy once - still fluffy and delicious. Get the milk bread when you see it! They rotate options out!

Excellent option for Kyoto

Excellent location, near a subway station, shops, and easy eat restaurant and a bit away from all the madness of Kyoto.
This hotel has a great vibe, the lounge eith music, free drinks and snacks, was a real bonus. The room was spacious and very comfortable.
For the price, this was incredibly good value.

Great location! Not far from the station at all. In fact it’s so convent to quickly hop on the station and it’s only 3 stops from Kyoto station.

The staff were amazing. The rooms were clean. They had bikes available for guests and we were able to ride bikes around Kyoto. I would recommend you stay away from the shopping area as you cannot ride your bikes or park there. My only con of this place is the rooms are extremely small. So it made it very difficult for us to open are suitcases comfortably. Despite that would highly recommend this place!

Incredible experience

The hotel was incredible. The staff were all wonderful - super helpful, spoke English well and were very helpful with everything we needed.
The location is in a quite area but a short 10 minute walk to downtown and just a few steps away from the subway (connected to Kyoto Station).
It was clean and comfortable, the lobby has complimentary tea, coffee and snacks 24 hours and free bicycle rental.
The room is small like all in Japan but it was laid out in a comfortable way and you have anything you could ask for - shower is amazing.

The only little downside for us was the pillows were very firm, and note that the bed itself is also quite firm and not bouncy or soft if you prefer that.

All in all, wonderful experience - highly recommend.

lovely staff and lobby area with a selection of free snacks and drinks to get pepped up for excursions. the stroll to and from Kyoto's busier spots was easy and interesting, revealing lots of dining options. The neighbourhoods away from the main tourist draws are also well worth exploring and the hotel is well placed for several.

Reasonable

Good location near an underground station. Room was a good size. Pillows were far too hard and it was difficult to regulate temperature between the air conditioning and the duvet being too warm. Nice to have bread and soft drinks available all day long. It is definitiely a tourist hotel if that is what you are looking for. Laundry was challenging with it being very in demand and I felt the clothes were not cleaned as well as they could have been.

This was my fav hotel from my Japan tour - I wish I could have stayed longer. The shower was AMAZING and the bed was very comfortable I had a great sleep. The complimentary breads and hot drinks throughout the day were lovely gesture.

I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the property as a whole, as well as how modern and comfortable everything was. The staff were extremely helpful and were always quick to greet me whenever I passed through reception.

My only negative was that there is one washing machine and one dryer for the entire hotel, and they seemed to almost always be occupied. The one time I managed to use the washing machine, there was a three hour wait for the dryer due to the backlog. The only other option was to walk a few streets to a laundromat, and I wasn’t keen on spending my evening sitting in the laundromat.

So glad we chose this hotel for our 3 night trip. It's pretty new and they have really got it right. The staff are all so helpful and pleasant. The room (superior twin) was small, but big enough for two. Very comfortable bed and exceptional shower. What makes this hotel even better is the social space on the ground floor. Free coffee, juice, and all manner of breads and pastries at all times of the day. Reasonably priced wine and beer and free nibbles to go with them. Comfy sofas and a turntable for some lovely vinyl sounds to accompany drinks and chat. It was never over-busy but always had a good atmosphere. It was 30 mins stroll to the "old Kyoto' area, and close to Nishiki market area. Tube station Karusuma Oike just a short walk away - 3 stops from here to Kyoto station, just 5 mins. They held on to our bags on the final day whilst we were out and about to enjoy our last hours. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - they are a great plus for this excellent hotel.

Hotel was nice and clean, staff were friendly, laundry easy to figure out. Only issue is the 24hr snack bar is lacking, it’s nice it’s 24hrs but it doesn’t change for breakfast. So bread for breakfast only, it’d be nice if they had eggs, fruit or something else so you can actually have breakfast. They also watched us struggle our 3 luggage’s and backpacks upstairs.. odd that they don’t help there, but not a big deal. Everything else was standard and as always staff very friendly

Really an awesome location, very close to the station. Staff were amazing and extremely helpful. They even helped with shipping our large suitcases back to Narita airport directly from the hotel. Free coffee, juice and breads were a nice addition, when waking up at 5am to start your day. Very hot water in the very large shower, that heated up quickly. Also had a large bathtub that fill up quickly (a must after walking 20k steps a day).

Honestly nothing negative to say about the hotel. Stayed for 5 nights and would do so again.

Excellent professional service at a lovely hotel.

Excellent professional service at a lovely hotel. The location is incredible - very central, right by the subway station which is on both lines, and walking distance to various sites. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The road which the hotel is on is also very quiet - even though we were only on the 3rd floor there was no traffic noise. The complimentary tea, coffee and pastries were also very welcome each morning.
