高齢の母と一泊しました。エレベーターに近く眺めの良いお部屋にアップグレードしてくださり、不忍池の眺望に感激しました。おかげさまで良い思い出になり、親孝行も出来ました。バスの乗り方も調べてくださり助かりましたし、大浴場も清潔でとても良かったです。ありがとう御座いました。

とてもモダンで綺麗なホテルでした。
エントランスも落ち着いていて
緑がとても良かったです。スタッフも他のお客様も外国の方が多かったですが、お風呂からの景色も最高👍入ってないですが……
お部屋のバスタブはあ足が伸ばせて満足でした。
チェックインもアウトもセルフでした。
ただ、チェックインの支払い手続きで少々
トラブルがあったのでマイナス1。
その他はまた利用したいなと思いました。

広いお部屋、感じの良いスタッフ、立地の良さ、最上階に銭湯、満足しました。
大人3人で10日間宿泊しました。
気になるところは洗濯機の少なさ
夜中の2時にならないと使えなかったり、ランドリールームに両替機がなかったり。
予約時に高層階を希望していたのですが、下層階になっていて案の定、上の階に宿泊している子供たちのジャンプの音で朝5時頃起こされ、グッスリとは眠れませんでした。

ホテルも綺麗でお値段共に良かったです。
最上階には大浴場もあり、清潔感もあり◎
部屋のホテルも浴室とトイレが分かれていてとても良かったですし、ホテルなのに部屋の入り口で靴を脱いで上がれるので嬉しかったです。
近くにコンビニもあるし歩いて食べに行けるご飯屋さんもあるし、かといって騒がしい事もなく、個人的に大満足でした。
次もまた泊まりたいと思えるホテルでした！

記念日で宿泊しましたがスタッフの対応も丁寧、親切でチェックアウトの時間に間に合わなくなりそうな時ホテルの人に相談したらこころよくせっかくの記念日だし、いいですよと言ってくれた事がすごく助かりました。

チェックインを機械で行う際、何度も失敗した。
その時横にスタッフが隣に2人いたが、ただ立って見ているだけで声かけもなく助けてくれないところに不親切さを感じた。
最終的に旅客情報が書いてある紙を見せられて「この通りに名前を入力してください」と指示された。
そこまで情報が分かっているのならチェックインを代わりにしてくれれば親切であると感じた上、他の旅客の情報も書いてある紙を提示してくるのはセキュリティ的に不安も感じた。
マニュアル通りの対応で第一印象がとても悪かった。
施設自体は清潔でアクセスも良くとても良いだけに残念である。

格安プラン待ってます

上野動物園や飲食店からも近くて観光に良い。ホテルは清潔で、広くて、レンジ、大浴場もあって子供たちも大喜び。リニューアル記念で安く泊まれて本当に良かった！また安くなったら泊まりたい。

子供連れにおすすめできるホテル

このホテルを選んで良かったです。
スタンダードなツインタイプの部屋で宿泊しましたが
三人利用の時は恐らくベッドとして使うと思われるマットが窓側にあり、子供のオムツ変えたり、荷物を広げるスペースとして使ったり、とても便利でした。
二つのベッドの間にほぼ隙間はない状態で、少し寄せれば一つの大きいベッドとして使えるので、小さい子供連れにはとても良かったです。
部屋のお風呂も洗い場があるので子供をお風呂に入れるのに助かりました。大浴場も脱衣所が少し狭いのが難点ではありますが、露天風呂もあり不忍池を一望でき見張らしも良く気持ちよかったです。
他に気になったことは、客室を出たらすぐ外気という最近流行りの真ん中吹き抜けのマンションタイプの作りで冬場は寒そうなこと、オープンしたてでスタッフがまだ不慣れなことくらいですかね。
フロントに荷物を預けて上野動物園に歩いて行きましたが、西園へのアクセスがとても良く、立地にもとても満足しました。

stayed 5nights with family. room was planned to clean after 3rd night but not cleaned at all. used the same pillow cover and bedding all nights. felt uncomfortable. only towels and trash were took out everyday except for 1day. payed 400000yen but never deserve it. I would choose the better hotels at this price. location was not bad having many stations around.
the man at the front desk was nice and kind.

Clean and spacious rooms with microwave and fridge. Short, easy walk (5 mins) to Keiso skyliner airport train and another couple of minutes to ueno station. Plenty of shopping, markets, kombini and food options within 5 minutes too.
We loved ueno in general and would stay in this area and at this hotel again.
There is a public bath if you want to give that a go too.

일본 호텔 치고도 방이 매우 좁습니다만, 14층 대욕장이 모든걸 상쇄해주는 킥입니다. 우에노공원뷰로 노천탕이 있습니다. 코인세탁기 건조기 구비되어있고 통돌이 빨래 1회 500엔, 건조기 30분에 100엔입니다. 돈키호테까지 도보 3분인점도 장점이고 주변 골목은 호객행위로 바글바글한 유흥가이니 큰길로 다니시는게 마음 편합니다. 아, 체크인할때 한국인 스탭도 계셨습니다.

Great location - close to train station, plenty of restaurants near by, walking distance to Don Quijote, Uniqlo, 7-Eleven and Lawson. Akihabara is relatively close as well. Room sizes are quite decent and very clean. Would stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at &Here Tokyo Ueno. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just steps away from subway stations, the Narita Skyliner, and Ueno Park, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The surrounding area is filled with shopping and dining options, and convenience stores are right nearby for quick needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more welcoming. Our 3 beds room located on the 9th floor was surprisingly spacious, very clean, and quiet — perfect for resting after a busy day in Tokyo.

Hotel was decent but not very flexible with check-in and out. Area around the hotel is busy with lot of “clubs” and bars. Probably not too safe to walk around in the night without being hustled.

We had a fantastic stay at &here hotel in Ueno. The location was excellent—just a short walk to JR, Chiyoda, and Ginza lines, making it super convenient for getting around Tokyo, directly to and from Narita airport on the Keisei Skyliner. It is situated at a location surrounded by convenient stores and restaurants. It is also just across the street of the beautiful Ueno park.

The hotel itself is new, modern, and very clean. Our room 901 was quiet, everything in working order. We had a very restful sleep during our stay. Cleaning service is not provided daily, however, garbage is cleaned out and clean towels are provided daily, which is more than sufficient for us.

An extension to my partner, Stephan's review on Google. A special mention goes to Do at the front desk. His level of customer service was outstanding—he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect when we checked in. Truly some of the best hospitality we've experienced. Thank you.

Another highlight was the public bath on the top floor, which overlooked the pond at the Ueno park. It was such a relaxing and unique bonus.

We highly recommend this hotel and looking forward in staying at &here again the next time we will be in Tokyo.

Quieter area of Ueno, right by Ueno Park. Also less than 10 mins from a metro station. New hotel, clean, lots of amenities provided. We got the triple bed with bunk - it was spacious and there was a mini kitchen too which was nice. Would stay here again!

The room is very small.
We tried to check in 1.5 hours earlier than scheduled but was told that have to pay 9400 JPY for the that even if they already have room available.
No spring water is provided. There is water fountain and vendor machine at the 2nd floor.

Exceptional staff at the front desk. They shared a warm welcome upon our arrival, provided helpful recommendations and offered lovely sentiments upon our departure.

The building is “open air” on floors 2 and above, which means no air conditioning in the hallways to rooms. Rooms are air conditioned. This design imbues a unique ambiance with the gentle rumblings from the street below.

The location is close to exciting sites like Akihabara, Ginza and Tokyo station. Lots to see and do. There’s an interesting shopping district a 3-minute walk away with many food and shopping options.


For families, my only concern is the street behind hotel had a lot of bars during our visit (summer 2025) that did not feel safe/smart to walk down at night. Also the streets surrounding were strewn with garbage throughout our stay.

We loved staying here. The staff was great, the rooms are spacious and clean and it is right in front of the park, so we could go for a run in the morning, as well as admiring the view from our window. It's very well connected with buses and metro lines - the shinkansen also stops at Ueno so it's a good location. Plenty of food options around and uber eats delivery. We will definitely come back again.

The property was well placed and very interesting in its construction with open corridors. It is directly opposite the park which houses the zoo and the museums as well as temples. The hotel itself had a rooftop onsen too. Our room was spacious with a full kitchenette. My daughter loved the bunk bed aspect! The hotel has its own cafe which was a good bonus. The quiet zen like hotel was a contrast to the busy Ueno streets and bars not far away. It is also only moments from Ameyocho shopping street and the Sanrio Garden cafe both of which were great for the final leg of our trip. I would definitely stay at otherwise &Here hotels.

Every time I visit Tokyo, I choose to stay in Ueno because the transportation is really convenient. The hotel is about a 6-8 minute walk from Keisei Ueno Station, and there are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The size of the family room is quite spacious, which is very suitable for travelers with young children. It feels like this is a very new hotel, and I look forward to seeing further improvements from the management.

다다미 형태의 바닥, 저상 침대, 테이블, 큰 냉장고, 전자레인지, 깨끗하게 관리된 간단한 조리시설과 식기 등 가족 여행에 더할 나위 없이 완벽한 룸이었습니다.

또한 게이세이우에노역과 우에노역에서 가까워 공항 및 도쿄 각 지역으로의 이동에도 매우 편리했습니다.

우에노공원과 시내가 보이는 통창과 노천탕까지 겸비한 루프탑 대욕장은 깜짝선물이었으며 이 호텔의 자랑으로도 손색이 없었습니다.

다만 에어컨에서 냄새가 나는 것이 딱 한가지 아쉬운 점이었습니다. 이것만 보완된다면 정말 가족여행에 거의 완벽한 호텔이었습니다.

The onsen on the 14th floor is so great with beautiful views. Wish I had gone there last year when we stayed there. Would stay again at &Here Ueno because we love the staff and area so much. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Upper floors with park view are the only way to go.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Assisted with my Yamato luggage forwarding service. The room is small but very nice and all amenities are available.
Laundry room available which was a big plus. Ueno park across the street was great for morning walks and runs. They also have morning movement sessions put on by park goers. Train stations within 8 minute walks. Highly recommend for the price.

The checkin process was strange and required a self service computer and a staff member to assist. The room was smaller than the photos indicated. It was not suitable for 3 people as we barely had room to move. Furthermore, only two of the beds were made up and it took 4 different staff members to find out where the linen was for the third bed.

We wanted a place that was easy to get to from the airport on our first night and this fit the bill. It’s a 5-10 minute walk from the Keisei Ueno Station (the keisei skyliner train is one hour from Narita airport). The room was a bit more generous than a typical Tokyo hotel and the bed was comfortable. Much appreciated the onsen on the top floor, which has a nice view of Ueno Park. My only complaint is that it was difficult to get the right temperature with the air conditioning and some areas of the hotel were sweltering, like the hallways, toilets and elevators. Note that I was there in July when the heat is really intense; I’m sure this wouldn’t be an issue at other times of the year. Overall a nice stay.

Sehr gut: Onsen, Lage zu mehreren Anbindingen, Mitabeiter, Sauberkeit. Weniger gut: Rotlicht Viertel hinter dem Hotel, man sollte also zusehen, dass man den vorderern Eingang benutzt, wenn man als Familie mit Kindern reist. Gar nicht gut: die Klimaanlage, die sich kaum steuern lässt.

Great place for adult trip.

Excellent property, clean and tidy. But wouldn't stay again with my children. The area is +18 so not the best place to be walking with kids at night.

Great stay in Tokyo

We loved our stay here. The lobby is nicely decorated and gives a relaxing feel. Love the mini garden that helps us forget about the hustle and bustle outside. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Breaking choices are limited but there are several convenient stores within walking distance. Having Ameyoko market nearby is great for shopping and dining out. We got the biggest room with a beautiful view of Ueno park. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out and all the amenities were useful. The only improvement we might suggest is having more laundry machines. Doing laundry was a challenge as it’s always full.

We booked the western-Japanese family deluxe room. It was spacious and can comfortably fit 6 ppl with plenty of room to store luggage. The room was immaculately clean as is the rest of the property. Kitchenette had everything you’d need for meals. Our room overlooked Ueno park: such a lovely view! Great location: restaurants, bars, stores right around the corner. Even in the crazy heatwave we were easily able to walk to several train stations. Amenities such as laundry machine and onsen were great bonuses!

This hotel was quiet, clean, and in a great location in Ueno. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. The back entrance does lead you into a street in the red light district but it was completely safe and we walked down it every night to get back to the hotel with our baby and never had any issues. Would definitely stay here again!

Near Ueno park and Keisei Line. Near the metro as well. Amenities are good, spacious family rooms, cafe, laundry and a public onsen. The only take away is the back area of the hotel where clubs and pubs line up, you can simply get away by just using the front entry.

新しくてとても綺麗でスタッフの方も素晴らしかったです。お風呂も景色も最高でした！夜のお店に囲まれていますが、避けることもできると思います。(わたし達は子供も赤ちゃんも居ましたが気にせず通りました)

Pros and cons

Huge rooms especially for Tokyo standards, that looked out over beautiful Ueno park.

The park side of the area was awesome, however the back of the hotel was a red light district and felt shady to walk down at night especially with the kids.

It was difficult to find a good place to eat around this area as most places you needed to be over 20 to be let in the door.

The front receptionist Tran Do was really helpful. She helped us with the arrangement of anti-allergic bedding and put us in an excellent front-facing higher floor room. Thanks to the arrangement and the premium location of the hotel, we did enjoy our stay.
