スタッフさんで海外の方が多いからか、日本語のキャッチボールがうまくできずチェックインするのが大変でした。後、スパを予約したのですが、対応に物凄く時間がかかり、だいぶ待たされました。それ以外はとても良かったです！

良かったです

対面なしの受付で特に問題はなかったのですが、スパの部屋に入るのに番号を知らされていなかったので、時間になっても入れず困りました。部屋に、スパの暗証番号を書いた紙でも置いておいてくれれば良かったです。
後は部屋も綺麗でとても良かったです。

最高でした！

女友達3人で利用しました。
お部屋は大変綺麗でセンスも良く、とても新しくキレイで、水回り、食器、リネン類、タオル、どれをとっても清潔で、大変気持ちよく過ごせました。
電化製品、食器類も、きちんとしたメーカーのものがオシャレに統一されて置かれており、気持ちよく使用できました。
デパ地下や近くのお店でテイクアウトしたお料理やお酒で、楽しい夜を過ごしました。
祇園からは少し歩いた静かなところで、一階にファミリーマートがあり、大変便利でした。

チェックアウト後、荷物をセルフで預けられ、身軽に観光に出かけられました。
祇園界隈、東山、岡崎周辺が全て徒歩圏内で、あちこち散策できました。

大変気に入り、次回も必ず宿泊したいです。

Nos encantó! Se sintió como llegar a casa. Tiene buenas amenidades de cocina.

El check in puede ser un poco complicado, pero las instrucciones que te mandan son muy claras.

El cuarto bien, y tiene muy buena ubicación, queda caminando de muchos puntos turísticos.

The private spa was nice for our family of 4. Front staff who checked us in was pleasant and helped book our spa. The hotel is in a convenient location. Room was so clean and decor was pretty! Loved that there was a washer/dryer in our suite, but we had some issues understanding how to use it since it was in Japanese. Other than that, our stay was quite lovely!

Everything was very easy and organized and all electronic. We did have a late check-in, but the staff member whom we called was very accommodating. Their rooms are very spacious and I especially loved how the toilet was separate from the shower and sink. The hotel room provided everything we needed and checkout was very easy. The location was great, right near a train station and down a Main Street filled with lots of food places and it’s right next to a family mart

We enjoyed how spacious the room was. There were 3 adults and we didn’t feel cramped. The full kitchen was nice to have but what I liked the most was the washer/dryer combo in our unit. I did at least 1 laundry per day and left to our next location with all clean clothes. The location of Minn Gion was great as well. We could get to Nishikarket

Stay away! Horrific check in process with poor automation, no one to help, only screens that connect you to a "live" operator via video chat that is often offline and useless when connected. I witnessed and experienced both several times,as did the half dozen guest in line before me and behind.
When I finally got in the room, which I paid a fortune for an executive apartment, it smelled so foul from mold I requested to move. The black mold was heavily visible in both AC units amd was blowing throughout the apartment.
They offered me a much more inferior room yet refused to price adjust. Untimately they moved me to a room that was still smaller than the one I prepaid for at a completely different hotel several blocks up the street. They still refused to provide a refund for the price difference and I essentially overpaid by several hundred dollars as a result.

Expedia was of no assistance either. They refused to accept accountability despite the fact that I was in a materially different hotel and inferior room. They persist in requiring the property to issue a credit.

The hotel itself was not even a hotel but a "serviced apartment." It was actually a very poorly serviced apartment, with sporadic staff, no ability to accept transported luggage or packages/deliveries. The place definitely has potential to be great but the way it is administered and operated is simply flawed. For the price point you are far better off at a traditional fully serviced hotel.

This was our best room while in Japan. As a couple traveling with a teen, the "superior apartment" provided us with a spacious bedroom separated from the living room/kitchen where our daughter slept on the couch which was almost as comfortable as real bed. The kitchen is well equipped and it even features a laundry washing/drying machine. The apartment is well located, the area is quiet but still within walking distance from the animated area of Gionbashi and the metro station. A Family Mart store is literally next door. We had trouble figuring out how to turn on the kitchen's induction stove one evening so we had to contact the staff through their virtual service desk. Someone was here to help us within minutes. Highly recommended.

Nice, large, well equipped hotel room. Room had a kitchen and was more spacious than other hotels I have stayed at in Japan. Location was well located in the Gion area in a quiet location but steps away from shops and restaurants, away from the very busy areas which I appreciated. Check in was fully virtual.

The Minn Gion is a very good choice. I gave it 4 stars becasue I am a hard marker.
It is well located in the northern part of the Gion district but only 5 to 10 minutes walk due south to the heart of the district. Compact, clean rooms with kitchenette and amenities. While the on-site staff is hidden away, they are responsive. Anthing related to check-in and queries about the booking are handled virtually by video call in the lobby.
No amenties such as food or drink in the lobby but small resturants, Lawsons, near by and Freshco grocery 7 minute walk.
I do reccomend for those who like a house-keeping unit in a quiet neighbourhood and not much extra hotel amenities.

Great accommodation. Could not recommend it more highly. In quite a nice spot in Gion. Only a short walk to bustling areas and relatively quiet at night. Th e rooms are spacious enough for Japan standards. Hotel seems new and well thought out. Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in Gion!

We had a lovely stay at this accommodation in late Sept. It was clean, modern and the beds are very comfortable. They had a higher-end washer and dryer (combo) machine for use. I stayed at another place and they only had washer option, so I had to hang dry my clothes. I did use their washer/dryer so it was useful, especially after the rain. We weren’t drenched but I wanted to have clean clothes.
The room decor is pretty and I love the wall mural. Self check-in was super easy and the staff were always quick to respond to any questions I had. Virtual Staff is professional and friendly. We were coming back from Universal Studios in Osaka and weren’t sure if we would be able to check-in before midnight, but they assured us it was fine if we came after midnight. We came before midnight so it worked out. I noticed an area for suitcase storage and thought that was useful. It is unmanned so you have to lock or secure it yourself if needed.
This place is in a quiet neighborhood and a Family Mart is steps away. They provided complimentary umbrellas at the entrance which was so handy because it did rain when we went out to dinner in Pontocho. We returned the umbrella after we came back.
Location is nice for a leisurely walk by the river and to Nishiki market.
Gion is such a cool area and we really like this accommodation. I recommend this place to others and we would come back and stay here again too.

A perfect apartment type accommodation for a family of 4. Minn Gion is perfectly located near the hidden streets of Kyoto in the Gion region. The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean and had all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable and convenient. A family mart is downstairs which made thinhs easier and walking distance to the local restaurants, markets and train stations

I love the property, the location, the area around… however the staff-less service, not too fond of it. I had issues receiving an email with the code for the baggage locks (never received it, even though I send the form twice following the steps), and there was no one to assist. I felt it was very impersonal.

Great hotel in the heart of Gion

Couldn’t have picked a better hotel if I tried for my stay in Kyoto. All restaurants within a 13 minute walk. All attractions to see close by via public transport. Safe, clean, great private spa can’t speak highly enough about my stay here.

Great for families

Great location, we could walk to so many places. Lovely stream just up the road. Plenty of space in the apartment and the toilet and shower were both the best out of everywhere we stayed in Japan.

Beaware before you book. The location is great. There are some annoying thing about this property. If you get the room thst sleeps 4 . There is a hall light in the apartment that comes on each time someone moves or walk in the hall. Due to the fact that it is small space, the light will shine when you are sleeping and will wake up people each time. We had only one plate in the kitchen. There is loud annoying noise buzzying at night. The air conditioner works but it is not powerful. These issues made the experience frustrating

Walkable to explore Gion. Close to Sanjo Keihan station for transit. Large (!!) comfortable room for family of four. Kitchen and washer were great to have given our long stay in Japan.

Hotel in great location. Feels more like an apartment than hotel. Comfy beds, pillows, soft blankets, living room with large sofa able to sleep 2, dining table, kitchen with dishes, pot, utensils, microwave, toaster oven. Family Mart next door open 24 hours. Walking to main downtown area only 15 min. Other restaurants nearby within 5 min. Washer/dryer combo machine in room very convenient, don't need to go outside for community laundry. Easy online check in/out. Easy to contact staff for help. Friendly staff helped me place order for take out food over the phone in Japanese and also helped me make a reservation for restaurant because the website wouldn't accept my name and phone number for reservations. Booked spa option. Spa was nice and clean and well stocked with towels and soap, shampoo, conditioner, face wash moisturizer and water. Spa included 4 shower areas, hot bath, cold bath, and sauna. Really appreciate the private booking so only our family has access and didn't have to share with others during our time. Really great hotel! Would come back again!

Très agréable séjour sur Kyoto

La chambre est un vrai appartement avec une cuisine très bien aménagée avec tous les éléments nécessaires pour manger sur place. Très belle salle de bains avec une machine à laver séchante très utile pour nous qui voyageons léger. La literie est très confortable, y compris pour les canapés lits. Petit bémol, les 2 canapés ne peuvent convenir que pour 2 enfants jusqu'à 12 ans maximum.
L'hôtel est très bien placé à 5 minutes d'une station de métro et d'un arrêt de bus, 2 konbini au bas de l'hôtel

La comunicación no es muy buena. El hotel en la descipción dice que es self check in y en cuanto llegas el personal sale y no permite que lo hagas tu.
Además en la aplicación menciona que este hotel es Vip Acces y esto no es así, pedí un UPGRADE y me dijeron que no manejaban está opción . Así que tuve que cancelar y volver a reservar para mejorar mi habitación. Poco accesibles en comunicación, pero la estancia estuvo bien al final. Muy buena ubicación. Valió la pena.

The hotel is brand new—clean, modern, and very comfortable. Its location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of restaurants nearby, which made exploring the area very convenient.

The staff was polite, though English was limited. Still, with some patience, we were able to communicate and get what we needed.

One downside was that, despite booking with VIP status, there was no acknowledgment or recognition—not even a small gesture—which was disappointing. Additionally, access to the pool and spa requires a reservation and comes with an extra fee, which was unexpected for a hotel of this level.

Overall, it’s a solid choice for its cleanliness and location, but there’s room for improvement in service and transparency around amenities.
