サービスの質が高いのに、無駄がない。ロビーに展開されるバーと、そのスペースはオープンで気持ち良い。部屋も広く、快適、クリーンに使えるが、無駄なアメニティはおかず、掃除も必要ないと意思表示しやすい。

清水寺から徒歩で行けて、ホテルの駐車場は4.5台しかないそうで止められなかったですが近隣にたくさんあるので困りません。
朝食、ルーフトップバーを利用しましたが美味しかったです。

スタッフの対応も良く、清潔でスタイリッシュで申し分なかったです。ただ、朝食のオーダーわした時に、注文が入っていなかったようで残念でした。用事があり、タクシーを予約していたので、その時間に間に合うかどうかという感じで、かなりバタついてしまったことがとても残念です。

おしゃれでしかも快適

以前から気になっていて、いつか泊まろうと思っていたホテル。生憎天気が悪かったのでルーフトップバーは閉店していたが、レストランの食事やベーカリーのパンはとても美味しかったし、お部屋も快適そのもの。ホテルのスタッフたちはとてもフレンドリーで話しやすく、楽しかった。ただ・・・駐車場がホテルから離れていた（道の反対側・・・）のが惜しいところ。

ホテルに入ってすぐロビーの香りが好きでした
独特なアロマの香りで気に入りました
帰りにアロマを購入しました
ちょうど音楽？イベントが開催されてて、参加はしてませんが素敵な雰囲気でした

スタッフさんも丁寧に対応して頂き助かりました
最上階のルーフトップバーも素敵な雰囲気で素敵な時間を過ごせました

予約手違いでホテルの朝食が頂けなかったのが残念でしたが、素敵な京都の朝ごはん食べれる所が歩いてすぐの所にあるので朝食がパンよりご飯が好ましい方は是非京都の朝ごはん行かれて下さい　最高の朝ごはん頂けます
次はホテルの朝食を頂きたいと思います

ホテルの不便なところはないのでお勧めです
また機会があれば利用させて頂きます

ファミリー層が多い。
よってリーズナブルな価格台のホテルでした。
残念なのは　隣の土地でしたが　古びた　朽ちた建物が　部屋から見え　京都散策を現実の世界に引き戻されました。

ホテル入ったら、クラブのような爆音で音楽がかかってる

We had a great stay. It was near the shopping areas as well as the traditional district Gion. The rooms were comfortable and modern with a bakery and restaurant on the premises. We would definitely stay here again when in Kyoto.

This property is a treat Staff are amazing. Rooms are large and bathrooms are second to none. The food is phenomenal with amazing bakery and great food options in the restaurant and on the rooftop bar They even have a Signature Beer! Can't say enough about this property it's is an 11 put of 10!!!! Highly recommend

No one to help with luggage; front desk would not make dinner reservation--told to walk downstairs and do it myself; very small room; sink and vanity in bedroom area instead of the bathroom; no English television station; no view from bedroom to outside; charge for everything, for example the cappuccino at breakfast and ice at bakery; gym is very small, cold, bad smell, no water and no towels; service staff often unfriendly and unprofessional. Not recommended!

Overall, we loved the hotel, location and the fab rooftop bar. Great service and drinks/food there. We kept warm with heaters and blankets. Its a must do. We had a superior king room which we found a bit small. But clean if a bit bland.

Always frontline staff available at check in to help you. Excellent bakery for coffees, cake and savoury treats. The rooms are fairly big and very clean. All amenities are well equipped and available. Great location and rooms are very quiet.

This hotel is an absolutely beautiful location of Kyoto and in walking distance of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Pontocho Alley, and the rest of Gion. The property is beautifully kept and clean in a minimalist, Japanese fashion. The rooms (or at least mine) was small but welcoming and met all needs.

The staff is friendly and helpful. There were some occasional language barriers, but we are truly the guests in this hotel and country and it was an overall wonderful experience.

Lovely hotel and staff. Nice rooftop terrace/bar with good views. Best hotel shower ever! Great location - easily walkable to the heart of Gion and Kyomizu-dera. Also just a few minute walk to the subway. Highly recommend!

The room and hotel were very clean. The fixtures and fittings are top quality.
The roof top bar was very nice, but the greeting and follow-up from the staff was not the best. But that could have been down to how busy they were.

When I was booking this hotel I knew it looked nice from the pictures and close to Gion district but it exceeded my expectations beyond anything I could have imagined.

First, the hotel is beautiful and from the moment you walk in you just feel the warmness and attentiveness from the staff. The rooms are super spacious, clean, modern and even the hallways are nice.

The bakery here is another level of goodness! Every pastry we had here from bagels, donuts and puff breads are so airy, light and delicious. This bakery alone is worth the stay.

Then the restaurant downstairs is another highlight to this amazing hotel and the rooftop bar. Don’t be afraid to check it out after a long day out even if it’s cold because they give you a warm blanket to enjoy the air and decompress with a yummy cocktail that you can order with vouchers they give you for booking through Expedia. Perk!

Then another amazing thing about this magnificent hotel is that when you come out of the hotel and turn left you are just a five minute walk from enjoying famous geisha district and the their shops/restaurant.

If you had to choose word to describe this hotel, given there were many superlatives, I would say ‘inviting.’ The aesthetics are soothing yet modern. The lobby/bakery has an intimacy. Breakfast preparation was super (choose the eggs Benedict with salmon). I also learned of sound meditation at Ryosoku-in Temple from the Surroundings section on the TV screen - a highlight of seven day stay here.

I can’t say enough good things for this hotel! It was our first time to Kyoto, the location was so ideal so walk everywhere. The staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. The restaurant was perfect. We had the best time, can’t recommend enough!

As someone else mentioned, the vibe almost feels uncomfortably trendy and caters largely to westerners. That being said, most of the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was extremely clean, and the lobby was lovely to sit in. We never visited the restaurant, but the cafe offered delicious, affordable assorted breakfast options and the coffee was always tasty. The location was also fairly convenient - not in the centre of anything, but a good base to get to and from.

This was our favourite hotel of our trip! Incredibly spacious and wonderful amenities, including the ability to use hair straighteners and curlers. The bakery in the lobby makes delicious food and the rooftop bar is super cozy! The hotel is on a bit of a slope but easy walking distance to Lawsons/7-eleven and train station. The location is perfect for acess to Gion and the Nishiki market. Would absolutely stay again!

Everything was great except in my deluxe twin room there wasn’t any drawers for clothes so I had to hang some on hangers or use my suitcase daily. As for laundry facility, it was good but in order to dry fully you have to do minimum one hour for a small load

Bit chaotic at the bakery breakfast bar in the lobby where you had to buy your sandwich then heat it yourself with one oven for everyone to use. No breakfast tea in room so had to ask reception every day, no fresh milk only small creamers. No tea spoons. No body lotion in bathroom. Very inflexible about 3pm book in resulting in guests all trying to book in together. Nice hotel but small things let it down.
