清水寺から徒歩で行けて、ホテルの駐車場は4.5台しかないそうで止められなかったですが近隣にたくさんあるので困りません。

京都は日本でも1、2を争うパン消費量を誇る土地。そこにあるホテルだから、ロビーにあるベーカリーのパンも素晴らしく美味しい！

スタッフの対応も良く、清潔でスタイリッシュで申し分なかったです。ただ、朝食のオーダーわした時に、注文が入っていなかったようで残念でした。用事があり、タクシーを予約していたので、その時間に間に合うかどうかという感じで、かなりバタついてしまったことがとても残念です。

おしゃれでしかも快適

以前から気になっていて、いつか泊まろうと思っていたホテル。生憎天気が悪かったのでルーフトップバーは閉店していたが、レストランの食事やベーカリーのパンはとても美味しかったし、お部屋も快適そのもの。ホテルのスタッフたちはとてもフレンドリーで話しやすく、楽しかった。ただ・・・駐車場がホテルから離れていた（道の反対側・・・）のが惜しいところ。

予約手違いでホテルの朝食が頂けなかったのが残念でしたが、素敵な京都の朝ごはん食べれる所が歩いてすぐの所にあるので朝食がパンよりご飯が好ましい方は是非京都の朝ごはん行かれて下さい　最高の朝ごはん頂けます
次はホテルの朝食を頂きたいと思います

ホテルの不便なところはないのでお勧めです
また機会があれば利用させて頂きます

よってリーズナブルな価格台のホテルでした。
残念なのは　隣の土地でしたが　古びた　朽ちた建物が　部屋から見え　京都散策を現実の世界に引き戻されました。

細部まで拘りが見られて、素敵なホテルです。
朝食のパンもメインの卵料理も、朝から豪華でした。
また夜のルーフトップで炎を観ながらのモヒートもリラックス出来ました。
立地的には清水寺エリアの観光向きです。

とてもよいホテルでした。
一つ難点を挙げるとしたら、駐車場。
予め提携コインパーキングは調べており、16:15頃に到着しましたが、満車で利用できませんでした。ホテルに問い合わせたけれど近隣のパーキングを利用するしかないとのことで補助もありませんでした。
提携パーキングをもう少し増やしていただければと思いました。

新しいコンセプトホテル但し電車移動の旅行者専用

全体的に客層は若く、当日はラウンジミュージックの日であったがロビー中に響く大音量には驚いた。屋上のルーフトップバーは夜間大盛況の様子で宿泊者以外も絶えずエレベータに乗り込んで来る。朝食はメニューが変更されていた。コストを意識しての選択か？ビジュアル的には食器共にグッド。味は・・・・普通。隣接の駐車場価格は高すぎる。¥4600程支払う。

Outstanding option for your stay in Kyoto. Modern, nicely-decorated hotel with a fantastic staff always smiling, saying hello and very helpful - all speaking excellent English (many foreigners). The hotel restaurant was very good - breakfast highly-recommended - but even if you don’t take the breakfast, you have very tempting options available in the ajoining bakery.
The rooftop bar is a must-visit (even with the August heat) with great views, a good selection of drinks and excellent service again.
The only negative point is the availability of storage space in the room - we had a triple room and there were no wardrobes so we had to be quite creative with finding places for clothes and cases.
Location is very good for seeing the local sites or catching the city bus to others.

Very pretty boutique hotel in Kyoto close to all cultural and entertainment options. The king room ended up being smaller than the twin room but both were well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu and would return if we find ourselves in Kyoto again. The bakery/coffee shop in the lobby was a real highlight. We also enjoyed the rooftop restaurant, although the time limit was a bit annoying. Would have preferred to stay longer and enjoy more drinks. The hotel was conveniently located to walk to many attractions in Kyoto. Room and bed were comfortable and our room was very spacious.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and spacious. There were 2 restaurants and a bakery/ cafe on the main level. It was too hot to spend time on the roof deck but it was lovely and the food looked delicious.
Staff were very helpful with dinner reservations and forwarding our luggage to Tokyo.
Sera, one of the hotel staff was especially helpful when my daughter needed to be seen by a medical doctor. She called for us and arranged for her to be seen before the office closed.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Great property. Everything felt new and looked great and clean. Wonderful bakery in the lobby for quick breakfast and coffee. There was also a restaurant on property but we didn’t try it. Rooftop bar was nice. Our room was great with plenty of room. The sink & vanity was out in the room which was nice because there was plenty of room to get ready and someone else could use the bathroom/shower area. We were in a superior King room and the bed was comfortable with a small couch area. While the hotel isn't right in the middle of things it is very central with easy access to all the right areas. Short 6 minute walk to subway/train. 12 minute taxi to Kyoto main station. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was great.

The property is gorgeous and it was a pleasure to stay here! The staff is very courteous and helpful. Because it was raining, the roof top bar was closed, but we had nice cocktails downstairs at the other bar. Super helpful to have the bakery and coffee bar downstairs when you’re running short on time in the morning. The baked items were wonderful!I would absolutely recommend this to friends and family traveling to Kyoto

Very nice modern stay

I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. The room was very sleek clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The bakery in the lobby was a quick easy way to grab a quick tasty bite before going out for the day. Rooftop bar was very nice. It’s located near the more traditional neighborhood , and was about a 20 minute very pleasant walk to the lively night life district / pontocho alley area. It was a short walk from Kiyomizu dera temple which was awesome to visit . Only downside was it was a bit far from Kyoto station, and with our bags, we opted to take a taxi every time we went to and from. There were some smaller metro stations close by but some of the larger ones to get to the big attractions we taxied to. Overall a small inconvenience and would still likely stay here again!!!

Rent the bikes at the front of the hotel! Kyoto is a bike able city and this was amazing (cost was 2,000 yen/day.

Room small by North American standards but efficient and nice. Bed very comfortable and bathroom nice.

Had breakfast (25$ pp) buffet - was great.

Strongly recommend buying coffee and bread in bakery in the lobby. Divine.

Best hotel of our Japan trip

Great location and beautiful hotel, staff and service very helpful with English speaking staff to help with communication. Roof top deck is very nice though it was hot good place for a beer. Fitness room and laundry services. Close to the main attractions in the Gion district so easy to wake up and head on over. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Kyoto.

Nice 4 star hotel in a good location.

The breakfast was basic but if included in room rate is adequate but go outside if not as not worth it. Would be nice to see some Japanese options. They had a bakery in ground floor but bread kept running out.

We asked for a refund as hotel price dramatically dropped 3 weeks before stay and they would not accommodate

Rooms are small with a toilet in the shower area. They only give 2 bottles of water but you can always ask for more

The hotel showcased a modern take on Japanese hotels. The lobby was lively and welcoming with a great bakery and cafe. The staff spoke amazing English and were very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable with a sizable bathroom. A shower room with great water pressure and temperature. It felt great to come into the room after a hot day. The area was walkable to many shopping destinations and very close access to the train for further destinations. The food on the property was very delicious. The rooftop bar is a must. A relaxing vibe with great small plates. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Had an amazing stay at Nohga’s! We were able to upgrade our room and 100% recommend! The room was spacious and the bathtub was great after a long day of walking. The rooftop bar and bakery were a 10/10. We had the wagyu burger and wagyu fries, delicious! The location is very convenient whether you prefer to use transportation or walk to places. Look no further, and book this hotel!

The hotel staff was professional and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Near train station and within walking distance to near by attractions. Bakery in the lobby was a great addition experience to the hotel and provided convenient to grab a quick breakfast in the morning. Laundry room in the hotel was convenient for us to wash our clothes since we stayed there for a week during a hot week. Overall, our experience at the hotel was excellent and will highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great stay and highly recommended.

This was a great hotel to stay in. Location was convenient, staff was friendly, rooms were clean and met our needs and the restaurant and bakery were superb! There is a station and 7-11 nearby. We typically caught a cab just outside our hotel and it cost about 10 dollars to get from hotel to Kyoto station. Others probably walk and use the closer station to get to Kyoto station but it was so hot and humid, we preferred to use a can.

Very beautiful hotel with a fun vibe. Rooms were lovely with a wonderful rain shower and bath. The food at the restaurant and the bakery cafe were so delicious (I would have eaten there even if I wasn’t staying there). An awesome staff was so kind , helpful and welcoming. The Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto was truly amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the lobby was very comfortable to relax. We enjoyed the bakery with incredible options, along with the coffee and other drinks. The restaurant was one of our favorite meals in all of Japan. We also loved the rooftop, it felt like you were completely removed from the city. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kyoto.

Location was good, not super close, 25 min walk to nishiki market, 15 minute walk to Gion. But the room was spacious and beautiful, food at the hotel is amazing. If you have the option to add breakfast do it! It was so delicious every morning, also the bakery and rooftop bar were great as well.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Very good buffet options and delicious. Room did not have any closet space or drawers. It was 3 of us in the room and we had to live “ out of the luggage. Made it uncomfortable.

Friendly, relaxed, upscale, and world class bakery

The bakery and restaurant was one of the highlights of the hotel. Literally the best sourdough I've ever had at this hotel. The bathroom was also one of the nicest bathrooms I've ever had in a hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel's location was only 0.25 miles from the nearest transit station.
