気持ちよく過ごす事が出来ました。チェックインの時、ちょっとした不手際はありましたが、すぐに直してもらえたし、お部屋は静かでベッドやお部屋のお風呂も大きく、用意された飲み物も美味しかったです。
いいホテルだと思いました。

兎に角、全てにおいて高評価を出したい。スタッフの対応、清潔さ、部屋の広さ、価格とのバランス、前情報なしに3泊分予約したが、宿泊して良かった。今年は、夏が長く暑かったので、紅葉の季節がずれてしまい、そこが大変残念だったが、またの機会を作って紅葉を見に来るのであれば、是非ここを利用したい。

部屋がとてもキレイで広々としており、間接照明も素敵です。エントランスも含めて広々して高級感があり、室内設備も充実しており快適に過ごせました。唯一の難点としてはホテル内に飲料の自販機がないことかと思いますが、フロントで水のペットボトルをサービスでいただくことができました。

施設内はお部屋も含めとても清潔でした。
チェックインの時にコーヒーやアップルジュース、日本酒(1種類のみ)がいただけるミニバーのような場所があり一息着きつけます。
京都のホテルではよく見ますが、アメニティも木目で出来ていて細かな気配りと京都ならではの品の良さが感じられました。
二条城も歩いて行くことができます。

リーズナブルで良い

大きめのバスタブがあり、お風呂単体で区切られているのでゆっくりできた。また、フリーラウンジでお酒も飲めるのが良い。また行きます！

スタッフの対応、清潔さ、コンパクトでも使い勝手の良さ諸々よかったです。
ゆいいつの難点は風呂場からの下水の匂い。初日は気になりませんでしたが、翌日朝起きてバスルームのドアを開けたら臭いました。

家族で二泊宿泊。受付からスタッフがフレンドリーかつ親切でよい。事前に乳幼児と泊まる旨お伝えしていたところ、追加でクッションなどご用意頂けた。ベッドは低いタイプなので万が一子供が落ちても安心。とても快適だったのでまた利用したい。

Takes 10minutes walk to subway .Between Gosho and Nijyo-jo castle would be nice beautiful Japanese looks room.Unfortunately room reserved has no garden from windows. No bath tub.only shower.Separated bath and toilet. wide and high ceil is good for forein people.
Very cheap parking just in front of hotel.No restaurant for dinner but enjoy dinner around Shijyo.
Good experience include staff.

Kyoto is fantastic.

However for how much this hotel costs it doesn't meet the standard. Aesthetics are great, it's beautiful. However the eco clean is poor. Staffs knowledge of local area is disappointing. Also they do not advertise complimentary drinks at the bar. Which is not massively important but if you offer it tell the guests. No extra coffees other than what's provided. No laundry service. Normally this would be fine but for the cost of this hotel it's definitely style over substance

Desde que entramos el hotel tenía un olor delicioso, todo estaba impecable, la tarifa incluía el bar (all you can drink hasta las 6pm) y el cuarto… grandísimo para el standard japonés, lindo, cafetera con tés y cafés, pijama lista para usar … en fin! Maravilloso

Although a bit hard for our taxi driver to find (the entryway is a small alley), the location was SUPER convenient. Walking distance to several restaurants and we started our Japan journey with an easy 2 minute walk to Nijo Castle.

The most important factor of this hotel is being centrally located within Kyoto. We were an easy bus ride to all the main sightseeing hotspots (Bamboo forest, 10,000 gates, Golden Temple, Kiyomizudera, Gion), shopping, restaurants and Kyoto Station.

Highly recommended!

Staff was lovely, especially the gentleman who checked us in. He very kindly has upgraded our room free of charge and pointed us to area where we could help ourselves to local drinks and snacks which were all included- lovely touch. Room was beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was equipped with nice Toto, good size bath and lovely shower. The only criticism we had was that the bathroom didn't smell very nice, which put me off from having a bath.
Breakfast was ok - very limited choice for vegetarian such as myself, but the husband enjoyed it.

6 stars Excellent hotle, newly build, amazing design of exterior and of the room, great amenities, great location close to bus stations but 25 min walk to subway or you can use a bus from the hotle to subway, great breakfast , exeptional and helpful staff at reception, loved this hotle, everything was perfect, I wish each city and country have this kind of hotels, amazing

Best stay in Kyoto

The hotel is on a quiet street. The entrance is stunning, and the room was superb. Best nights sleep our entire stay! So clean, so comfortable, I cannot say enough about how great our stay was here.

The room was excellent. Complimentary sake in the afternoons was also very nice. Location is a bit of a walk from the nearest subway, but there are plenty of nearby bus stops if you don't need to drag around large luggages.

Nicely appointed hotel with welcoming staff and clean, comfortable, fairly spacious room. It’s possible to walk to attractions such as the old Imperial Palace, but these places are not close by, and a taxi is a more realistic option. Breakfast was nicely varied with Japanese and western items, and elegantly served.

Had such a great stay at Kaya Hotel in Kyoto! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location made it super easy to get around—close to transport and plenty of great food spots nearby.

The staff were lovely and really helpful with recommendations, which made exploring Kyoto even better. It felt like a mix of modern comfort with a bit of that local charm. Would definitely stay here again

Location was exactly what we wanted from this portion of our family holiday. Hidden amongst the small streets of Kyoto and a short taxi ride from nearly everything. Room was very spacious and staff were helpful. There is a an extremely well stocked supermarket + pharmacy withing walking distance which was great. Highly recommend.

The hotel was located in a quiet neighbourhood with a decent amount of walkable options nearby for entertainment and food. A bus stop is located less than 5 minutes away as well. The staff was great and accommodating, the free drinks from 3-6 were a very nice touch, the room was both looked nice and was clean while being decently spacious. The buffet breakfast was decent, however for 2750 yen it was a bit pricy. Would stay again for sure.

A vey good option in Kyoto

This hotel was perfect for our needs and our trip of 3 days. 3 double beds for 4 people. Room was big, comfortable, impecable clean and well equiped.
Easy access on a quiet street but with food options around. The staff was welcoming and always nice, they provided free bottles of water and clean the room while we were there even tough they have a eco cleaning days system. I defitenely recommend this hotel if you stop in Kyoto.

Really nice aesthetic to the hotel. However,
No washing facilities which is annoying when travelling with family. Also no black out blinds so the room is light at sunrise!
Location is ok, some small restaurants and convenience stores, however away from shopping area so we had to get taxis everywhere.

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious! Every staff at the hotel were kind and extremely helpful.

The hotel is located very close to the Nijo castle and you can get around town using the nearby subway train or Uber/Taxi. Highly recommended!

El aire acondicionado no funciona correctamente, con un calor de más de 30 grados Celsius afuera del hotel, es desagradable dormir así con calor. Llamé varias veces al gerente y nunca estuvo . Decían que lo había solucionado y no era cierto . El pasillo estaba más frío que mi recámara . No cometan el error de quedarse ahí . Nunca tuvo la intención de resolvernos el problema . (Gerente)

Beautiful hotel. Super clean and beautify transitional Japanese decoration. Staff is nice and friendly. Only problem is that it’s not too close to San Jo and Si Jo which is city centre. But Kyoto is pretty small. One way taxi is about $15 AUD.

The hotel is in a great location with some really good cafes and bakeries. Very modern and clean with japanese style. We were a familyof 4 and one of the beds was a pullout and it wasn’t very comfortable. Other than that no complaints.

Beautiful and spacious rooms. Definitely made us feel like we were in Japan in the best way possible. They gave my 6 year old a welcome packet that was super thoughtful and got her all excited for the stay. I wished it was closer to main attractions of Kyoto. However the bus stop was pretty close making it easy to get to our other destinations.

Horrible service and amenities. Once we checked in no one was able to help us with our bags, our room was on the first floor in the corner facing a cement wall when we looked out the window. No daily house cleaning, no ice machine, laundry is not onsite and is only restricted to certain times of the day and have to arrange it with the front desk. The people in the front are not helpful. Only one restaurant that serves breakfast. Will not be returning again.

Nice hotel

The hotel is lovely and in a convenient place. Our room had very little natural light but it was fine for 3 nights. Cleaning of the rooms consists of making the bed and emptying the bins which is a bit of a shame. More needs to be done in the daily clean in my opinion. Breakfast was very expensive for what it was - there was very little choice and the restaurant can be ‘full’ when you arrive meaning you need to wait. The restaurant should be big enough to cater for the hotel. All in all a good experience.

It is far away from most attractions ending up spending lots taxi fares. Never informed beforehand that rooms are only cleaned up every three days, and you have to ask for changing towels and toilet papers in between. No formal restaurants except breakfast. Staff are friendly but the hotel needs to step up to be a true four star Best Western hotel.

Overall good stay

Centrally located near Nijo castle. Very comfortable stay. They do not have in hotel laundry facilities. They do offer laundry service but of course that is at a premium price. I was able to find a laundromat close by. Other than that everything else was great. The food was subpar at their restaurant. I wouldn’t eat there.

호텔 객실이 리모델링하여 아주 깔끔하고 실내 공긴도 넉넉하었습니다. 실내 인테리어도 일본 분위기를 충분히 느낄 수 있었고, 매일 객실 청소와 세팅이 매우 좋았습니다. 주변에 걸어서 관광할 수 있는 곳이 많고 식료품 쇼핑이 가능힌 대형 마트가 바로 인근에 있습니다.

Room was not properly cleaned upon arrival, but staff was very accommodating and changed out bed sheets immediately. Area is quiet, but far from everything. Closest convenience store is about 5 minutes away, closest train station about 11 minutes away. Not much to do late at night and not many nearby dining options available. Rooms decor and amenities are very nice, and staff is very helpful. Just based on location, I don’t think I’ll be back since it made moving around a bit more difficult with a lot more walking and transfers needed.
