価格が高すぎるのでもう少しは抑えていただきたい。髭剃りは紙質のもので環境に配慮してあるのは分かるが、大変使用しづらく、結果使わずに捨て、本末転倒となりました。

The beds were great, also the views were very nice. The room size was good. Were able to fit two carry on bags and one cheked bag. They provide complimentary water which was nice. Lots of security and staff.

Beautiful room, perfectly clean, and wonderful staff. I fell and was injured walking around Tokyo and the second I stepped back into the hotel, a staff member saw and jumped into action to help me clean and bandage my scrape. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location if you’re trying to be close to Shinjuku station and kabuchiko. Minimal street noise with the rooms starting above the 20th floor. Great spot to explore Shinjuku and extremely convenient location next to the train station the explore the rest of the city.

Hotel Groove is in the perfect location to explore the Shinjuku neighborhood and travel to other parts of Tokyo. Our room was super comfortable and housekeeping service was great. The bar and gelateria on the 17 floor was also excellent. Definitely recommend staying at Hotel Groove!

Wunderschönes Zimmer im japanischen Stil, mit tollem Panorama-Ausblick auf Tokyo, super sauber und das Personal zuvorkommend. Wir hatten zu dritt viel Platz und können es nur weiter empfehlen. Gute Lage im belebten Shinjuku mit vielen Shopping Möglichkeiten und Anbindung auf öffentliche Verkehrsmittel.

First let me say that the staff and customer service were EXCELKENT. And when I needed to arrange for my luggage to be transferred to my next hotel in Kyoto they handled that with ease and very professionally which gave me confidence that my luggage would indeed arrive as planned. And it did. The hotel accommodations were very nice . And its location relative to Shinjuku station was quite convenient. A 10 min walk at most.

However this hotel is a behemoth and I was told it has over 500 rooms. So if you are looking for a more intimate boutique hotel, this isn’t that.. The lobby is often overflowing with guests checking in so lots of suitcases and people. There is no place in the lobby to sit and gather casually as I am used to in the hotels I’ve stayed in. I believe there are meeting places for business people elsewhere but not in the lobby.

And be aware that if you stay here in the east side of shinjuku it is -well - scuzzy — and the streets are full of trash —and the streets are filled with tons of young people just hanging out. And it was loud and filled with neon lights It reminded me a lot of Hollywood blvd in California on steroids. But I NEVER EVER felt unsafe as a solo traveler .- it is simply not a pristine atmosphere as you might find in other areas of shinjuku. So that is my honest opinion . There isn’t anything the hotel needs to improve upon. The location in east shinjuku and size of the hotel is simply not my preference.

Very modern hotel. Room was quiet and well laid out. Toilet is in a separate room from the bathroom. Beds are very comfortable, there are blackout drapes so the room is dark in the morning.

Clean room, good service, great breakfast if you add it on (would recommend). The lobby is on the 18th floor so it's a bit irritating to have to use one elevator up and then a second to the room, but that's minor in the scope of things. would stay here again.

We booked the Japanese suite, WAY bigger than most Japan hotels rooms. It had 2 toilets and 2 showers. Ample floor space for luggage’s and additional shopping. The view was incredible to wake up and go to sleep to everyday. You are right in the bustle of shinjuku area, close to the station for easy transport around city. The hotel staff were amazing, the breakfast was great and overall I would absolutely stay here again

Got one of the executive, corner rooms. Veeery unfurnished in my opinion: no desk with chair for working, no pair of chairs with a small table to enjoy the views if you want to bring some food, awkward placement of toilet and shower...
Size and views were good, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than a couple of nights and definitely not if you're and "executive" (or if you intend to do anything else than sleeping in the room)

Wow!! Hotel Groove is hands down one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in! The room was huge compared to other japanese hotels i have stayed at! And the view from the 33rd floor of tokyo was amazing !!

The staff super friendly and actually got me checked in early which helped out alot!!

The room: I reserved a premier king room and it was worth it i highly recommend it! From walking 20-25 miles a night it was nice to come back to a extrea nice room.

Hotel groove is in thr Kabukicho tower! Which there are restaurants, arcade, bars all inside ! Which was nice because one day it rained for a little while so you have something to do!

The location: perfection right in the middle of shinjuku and all the crazy action! You are smack dab in the thick of the craziness thats is shinjuku and i was there on Halloween! The staff had candy when i would come and go taking pics all night which was awesome


I have stayed at alot of hotels in japan and this one is hands down my favorite! From now on this will be my hotel !

The triple room wasn't really a triple room. In the pictures it looks like 3 beds but it was really 2 beds and a cot. And the shower had glass around it and was visible from the sink area. For 3 ppl (friends) this was challenging as we just wanted basic privacy while showering. And the room was smaller then several doubles we saw that other friends had. Not worth the money.

This is truly a wonderful hotel in a great part of Tokyo. The room was stylish and a good size in comparison to many hotels in Tokyo and the bed was very comfortable. The view from our room was also spectacular. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Staff were all friendly from my perspective. I had breakfast at the hotel twice and the menu stayed the same but the food was always freshly made. Didn't get to try everything but the things I did try were good. I loved that in the garden suite there were two different air conditioners. At night before I slept I made the air conditioner in the living room 80f (weather was fairly cold around 56-64 F) and the bedroom temp was 70F. It was perfect for waking up and going to the living room without freezing! I would book again.

My stay was absolutely wonderful! The room was spotless and spacious, with an incredible view that made every morning feel special. The breakfast was excellent there was such a great variety, but the highlight for me was the pumpkin French toast, which was simply amazing!

What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for guests really stood out. Every interaction felt warm and sincere, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I can’t recommend this place highly enough a truly 5-star experience from start to finish!

Great stay! This is located in the heart of Shinjuku. There’s a train station about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. For the location, we found it incredibly easy to just walk out and stumble upon something for dinner (also highly recommend doing this! Such good food.) in the building, there’s also a market style restaurant group - we had this one night for dinner and found it really good. Make sure you translate the menu with Google Translate app for the photos though or you might be eating something more exotic then you prefer. (Whale, etc.)

The rooms felt spacious and we loved the touch of the Spotify playlist the hotel came up with, definitely check it out during your stay!

First trip to Japan was made amazing by staying here! The views from our room were just incredible. You've got the viewing deck here so check that off your list! We paid for breakfast at restaurant two mornings and that was perfect. The baked eggs are a must try! All pastries were great and so much fresh fruit.
Not much is open early so 7 am is awesome option to have. Hotel is close to Shinjuku station so coming in from train with luggage was a quick walk. Staff is soooooo nice and helpful. We had a fancy dinner at Bellustar in the same tower and that was amazing. Highly recommend for one night! Shower had great water pressure and the beds were super comfy. I would stay here again 100%

The area around it is super packed with restaurants and shops. So close to alot of the attractions. It’s seriously close to the Godzilla hotel, the 3D cat attraction. Very close to shinjuku stations. At nights, many many tourists. It gets super packed around the area.

You have to be in this area at least once in your life. Very vibrant! If you’re older, you won’t like it that much. If you’re younger, you’ll def love the area!

Great hotel, reasonable price for what you get!

Excellent hotel, incredible view, great location, very clean and a great use of space. Air conditioning worked very well. Did not use laundry facilities, but it was nice to know that they were available (and you can check which machines are in use via the TV, great feature!). Will gladly stay again.

Our room was very nice. Bedding was delightful. We arrived early. Our room wasn’t ready. The invited us to the movie theater, pop corn and a drink right in the hotel building until our room was ready. I suggest you choose a room on the other side of the building from the trains.

Staff was incredible upon checking in. Our room was nicely appointed and the view was breathtaking (29th floor). The hotel has all the usual amenities including a gelato bar. There is a Starbucks downstairs and plenty of food and beer establishments on the first level. Shogun Burger has delicious wagyu burgers and cold beer. There is also a small pub/cafe across the street for late night cold ones. Vibrant area! So many places to eat!!! You will love this area and this hotel.

Hotel Groove was a wonderful hotel. It suited the needs of our family of four very well. We had the large King Garden Suite where we could spread out and relax at the end of the day. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and modern. The washing machine in the room was an added bonus that was really helpful for us. We would recommend Hotel Groove for being close to transport links and for being in a great location close to shopping and eating.

Amazing hotel overall. The hotel room was large enough for 3 people to stay in there comfortably. Amenities were very clean and I am very particular about restrooms. There is a great view of the city as well! This really exceeded expectations!

Great location to get around, but it is Shinjuku so just be aware there are lots of late night shenanigans with crowds. However, you don't hear it from the hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Groove was amazing! Everyone was very accommodating pre and post check in! The amenities, dining options, entertainment options and convenience of the area was an added plus! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Tokyo.
