周辺環境があまり良く無い。ホテル自体はとても快適だったので残念だった。
あと少し歌舞伎町中心からずれていれば安心してコンビニにも行けると思う。

スタッフの方もとても良かったです。コスパも私はとてもラッキーに安く泊まれました。部屋もとても清潔でよかったのですが、唯一Wi-Fiの環境がちょうど全館不具合が起きていて残念でした。新宿での宿泊にはまた利用したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

Good spot in the middle of Shinjuku

Good sized room in the middle of Shinjuku, tight near plenty of great bars and restaurants. Room was quiet and bed was comfy, would stay there again

The hotel was in a great location for Shinjuku. The room was an okay size and very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was bigger than we were expecting! It had both a bath and shower. The water pressure was very good.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We shipped our luggage from Tokyo to Kyoto and it arrived before we did.

We were given a ticket for a free welcome drink but we didn't use this or the basement area where the bar and laundry were located as we were out during the hours the area was open.

I would highly recommend!

Great Hotel

Great location, well maintained and very clean. Very accomodating and helpful staff with good knowledge. Everything we needed. Plenty of fresh towels available. Comfy beds and we especially liked the ability to watch the progress of our washer dryer usage on the tv.

Relatively nice property in the thick of things. Only serves breakfast. The room was decent. Bathroom had powder (baby powder) on the inside of the door and at the baseboard. The day they cleaned the room, the left all the empty recycling (plastic bottles) in the room. Not a big deal. I took them to the basement floor where the recycling was myself. Employees spoke almost no English. It is a foreign country. I suppose this should be expected. Not a world traveler by any means.

The hotel is in the heart of Kabuki Cho which isn't for the feint hearted. If you want bars and partylife this is the place for you. I did find the staff pretty inflexible and after we left we had left an expensive item in the room. I emailed them about it and two weeks later we haven't had a reply.

This is a very good utilitarian hotel. Great location if you like to be in the center of things. It's like being in Times Square in New York City. The rooms are very small, which is not uncommon for Tokyo hotels.

The only negative thing I'd say about the property was the limited size of our room, other than that it is a well presented hotel with great staff. The area is a little sketchy (as to be expected from KABUKICHO) however it has got worse over the last 2 years since i was last here. The constant harassment from the Nigerians trying to get you into rip off bars or rip off strip clubs is getting worse, every corner i turned i was asked or grabbed by one of them, one of the nights i nearly lost my cool. The police do nothing reagrding these individuals and are to busy picking on the homeless.
All in all great hotel, shame about the some of the people around the area, would i stay again? Definitely. I just hope Japan sorts out the things what really let KABUKICHO down.

Food options were great, everything within easy walking distance. Vending machine right outside for any quick and easy drink selections as well.

Beds were comfortable and had a charging station as well as a light switch right next to the bed for quality of life.

Fantastic! It’s fairly close to Shinjuku Station, which made getting here easy. The room was clean, modern, and a respectable size for the price. All of the staff were friendly, polite, and spoke English well. Even though it’s located in an area full of nightlife venues, it was still quiet. There is plenty to do and see nearby, and its location in Shinjuku makes it easy to get to Shibuya, Akihabara, and anywhere else. This was my first hotel after I arrived in Japan, and I’m very grateful for the staff at the front desk for being so welcoming to my travel-weary self. Thank you!

This hotel is in a great area! Wouldn’t say it’s kid friendly especially at night. Definitely for young adults. The room was very nice! Only thing I didn’t like was the fire alarm went off so much at 8am! And through the intercom in the room they said it was a false alarm but it still kept ringing loudly on top of the the static loud talking and then music played though it. I was just trying to sleep.

Zentrales, modernes Hotel mit kleinen Zimmern.

Das Hotel liegt circa 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof Shinjuku entfernt in der Mitte des Ausgeviertels. Die Umgebung ist recht laut aber es ist viel los. Zwei grössere Supermärkte sind circa sieben Gehminuten entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sehr klein, aber modern eingerichtet. Die Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgt nur alle drei Tage. Eine tägliche Reinigung kann gegen Aufpreis bezahlt werden. TV ist nicht verfügbar, sondern nur über eigene Streaming Dienste. Der Abfall muss selbst aus dem Zimmer gebracht werden und wird dann vom Flur entsorgt. Handtücher können täglich gewechselt werden, müssen hierfür jedoch vor die Tür gelegt werden.

The toilet was big but there was no space to put our cosmetic articles. Even if we booked a bigger room, the room was very small.
Other wise the people at the reception was very friendly. The breakfast was not so good. The bread was terrible. No butter! The eat choices very small.

Hotel Amanek was a good hotel. Rooms are a bit on the small side but we made it work. The shower is fantastic though. After a long day of walking it's much appreciated. Breakfast buffet as well every morning which was decent. There is also a laundry room and water refill station in the basement. The staff were friendly and approachable. 5-8 min walk to train station actually. Stayed 4 days. Would consider Amanek again if I ever stayed in Shinjuku again.

The staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean. The location is perfect. It's right next to many great bars and restaurants and close to Shinjuku station making it easy to access other parts of the city.

Perfekt för dig med lite bagage!

Även om du tycker att rummet ser litet ut på bilden så kan inget förbereda dig på hur litet det är i verkligheten. Två personer med varsin stor resväska får verkligen trängas.

I övrigt är hotellet väldigt trevligt, lite hård säng men utmärkt badrum och dusch och nära till allt man vill besöka i Tokyo drar upp betyget rejält.

Bra personal och fullt godkänd frukost!

Hotellet ligger verkligen mitt i Shinjuku och det är ordentligt med nattliv kring hotellet. Om du söker en lugnare vistelse så kan tex Ebisu eller liknande områden passa bättre.

Perfect, clean, little hotel tucked back away from all the noise of Kabukicho but close enough to get to the everything as it’s in walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. If you want to stay in Shinjuku and actually sleep without being interrupted by outside noise I’d recommend this place.

Friendly good location, scruffy

Small room and a little scruffy/grubby.
Had to go down for new towels after the process of leaving them outside the room for replacing (they only clean the room every 3 days) didn’t work.
Stayed in much better during our trip.

Though staff very friendly and location great to take in all the lights of Tokyo for a few days to start the trip

Nice place for a budget stay. Only thing I was surprised with is there is no daily housekeeping unless the stay is 4-days or more. This could of been more clearly disclosed. But, overall stay is pleasant with centralized location in Shinjuku and updated rooms and facilities.

The Hotel is Great. It‘s clean, chic and fancy. It has a laundry room, where you can wash your clothes for little money. The staff is great and helped me with a problem with my flight. The rooms are really small. If you’re in a room for 2 there’s nearly no space to open your luggage. The room is quiet and you can sleep well! The hotel is in the middle of a “red light district” or at least a street with a lots of clubs and party. No one will harass you, there are all very nice. Just be aware of this fact. The metro station is just 10 min walk away.

the location was perfect, the hotel is very clean, nice and modern. the staff are so friendly and extremely helpful, the amenities are great! On cleaning day the front desk will call and ask what time you’d like your room to be cleaned which was great! I would definitely recommend and would return!

They front desk was very helpful with whatever i needed. At one poin i need to cancel a booking for a restaurant and the restaurant did not speak english so i asked the front desk if they would do it for me and they where more then happy to help out with the cancelation.

The hotel is great. Very clean and modern. Nice beds. Central location. However the immediate surrounding area is all focused on host clubs and escort services with aggressive men trying to get you to visit their girls. We were also asked on the street next to the hotel by a prostitute for sex. Overall I wouldn’t book here, or the area in general, again.

Clean, quiet (in room) and friendly staff. Everyone at the desk spoke good English.

Location is very convenient to Shinjuku station and there is every kind of food option within a 5 minute walk of the hotel.

Shinjuku is a party place. Lots of folks going home from the clubs as we were starting our day of sightseeing. But don't take this as it being an unsafe area. Not once did I feel unsafe.

Beautiful property, in a convenient location being only a 10 minute walk from shinjuku station. The only thing I didn’t like is it was near a lot of the adult clubs, so walking down some of the alleys late at night as a solo female travelled, i was approached a lot. And then I wish they had more of a Japanese style breakfast

Really enjoyed our week long stay at Amanek. Rooms are a little on the smaller side but not bad at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful whether you have questions or concerns. Abundance of dining places and entertainment and night life. It gets a little busy and noisy outside the property in the late hrs of the night but hey... It's Shinjuku! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great location but tiny rooms

Amazing location and friendly staff. The rooms are very very tiny. Hard to even open a suitcase. Avoid the Japanese room option as the mattress is on the floor and there is no place to sit anywhere. It was really uncomfortable for someone like me who was not familiar with that setup, and you do not know this by just the room description on the site. Breakfast was terrific.
