良かった点は施設が全体的に清潔感がありおしゃれという点です。あとベッドはかなり良かったです。厳しいことを言うとそこだけは良かったです。

逆に改善して欲しい点は、
フロントでの対応。他ホテルに比べるとスマートな対応ではないです。スタッフ間の連携も微妙。落ち着きがないです。宿泊客はまずホテルに到着してフロントに行き、そこで一息つくはずです。それなのにフロントの対応次第で、すでにホテルへの不信感が生まれてしまうと思います。女性の年配の方ですが日本語での会話は基本だと思うのでおもてなしという面からもしっかりとした日本語を話せるようにした方が良いです。

朝食メニューは見た目は良いですが内容は残念というか物足りなさを感じました。ごはんがあるのにお味噌汁がない。だけどコーンスープはある。きんぴらごぼうはなら他に何かなかったのかなと感じました。期待以下の以下でした。

立地は便利ですが、夜が特に賑やかなので家族連れには少し不安はあります。

The rooms are tiny, but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very dark, poorly lit throughout, I guess it was part of the theme of the property. Breakfast was okay, but you sometimes had to wait for a seat.

The downside of being located in city center is the noise that comes with. The walls are not thick enough to block street noises

I was also fined for missing one key card in the room when I checked out. I paid as I respected the rules, but it’s 2026. I do not believe there are many hotels in the world that still charges for misplaced keycards. The hotel system is polite, but definitely not friendly

Excellent location for shopping and food places. Room has washer/dryer which is wonderful. Room is small as expected in a desirable location. Only drawback is room is extremely dark. Has a movie theater vibe where you can’t see a thing. Had to use my phone’s light to look around. Wish they would put more lighting in room.

We stayed in a cozy double-king single bedroom with a lovely view of the surrounding city in Namba.

The room and bathroom were kept very clean, with a basic but functional bathroom area featuring a full shower, a tub, and a separate toilet.

The design of the room was quite dark, which made it a little tricky to put on makeup in the morning since the dark walls absorbed most of the light. The vanity mirror was positioned in a way that made it a bit awkward to get ready, and having a full-length mirror would have made changing clothes much easier.

The breakfast was truly delightful, offering a well-balanced selection of Japanese and Western cuisines.

While it took us a little time to figure out how to operate the laundry machine in the room, having it there was incredibly convenient.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and patient, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The location is excellent for travelers - across the street, then five minutes walk to the Dontonbori area. A group of four we booked two rooms. Unfortunately the hotel is very dark and will absolutely ruin your vacation mood. The room was clean but so dark that you barely see yourself in the mirrors. The breakfast buffet items were not refreshed as the morning progressed. Asking for minimal items was met with a firm “NO WE CANNOT.” Staff were not accommodating of ANYTHING asked for. The washing machine/dryer combo was a thoughtful addition to our room type but each cycle took 4.5 hours to complete.
Your base hotel makes a difference in your overall experience in a city. After the first night we wanted out of Osaka. Mainly because of Mercure Tokyu Stay Namba.

Our room was spacious and clean. The room is dark but there were enough lights for us and this fit the “Osaka” vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful when transferring our luggage. We did not eat at the restaurant but the menu looked good. There is a pool table and a clean looking workout room.

We had paid for breakfast each day with last entry being 9:30 with 10am close. We came down at 9:20 and there was no coffee, no orange juice, no croissants very very limited and the staff started packing up around us with still 25 mins to go. Hotel very dark as well

Rooms were clean but small. In comparison to other hotels. Didn't like the design of having a wash basin out in the room and not in the bathroom area. Otherwise, it was nice and served its purpose.

The aesthetic was extremely dark throughout the property, including the room. It was very hard to see. The room was also extremely small, could barely fit 2 suitcases in a double room. The breakfast area was so small folks often had to wait 20+ minutes to get seated as there was not enough space for the size of hotel- with minimal food options to boot. The best thing was the location as the hotel is close to the metro, dontobori as well as shinshabasi.

The hotel is located conveniently in the Dotonbori shopping district. Short distance to Shinsaibashi station entrance, Daimaru, Pasco and other points of interest.
Room’s could’ve had better lighting. In fact, the entire hotel was rather dimly lit.
Much to be desired regarding toilet tissue but the same can be said for most of Japan hotels.
The staff was excellent from front desk (seems to double as concierge) as well as housekeeping and restaurant workers.
Local restaurants just outside the surrounding areas and a “Family Mart” just outside of the hotel about 50 yards.
All in all a very easy to feel comfortable in a few days.

Clean room, but very dark with poor lighting. Rooms were clearly converted for efficiency usage for travelers. No full bathroom, sink was in the main bed area. Our room was across from a night school and we could not keep the windows open while class was in session for privacy. Plugs and table side bed area was not convenient and phones needed to be charged away from sleeping area for one of us.

The location of this hotel is perfect only about two blocks away from the Glico sign and Shimbashi shopping street. I had reviews regarding the rooms being too dark and thought it wasn’t a big deal but it kind of was. If you dropped something good luck finding it. It was hard to get ready as there was only one small mirror at the entrance sink and since the light was so dim it was hard to check if my makeup was applied properly. The washer and dryer was a nice plus. It is all in one and we used our own detergent. One thing though it that it took two hours to finish a small load. If you have lots to wash I would recommend an outside laundromat. We only stayed two days and it served its purpose. Although great, next time I would choose one with better lighting. The small window didn’t seem to help either. Oh and also not enough wall plugs.

The buffet breakfast was really good, the amenities were ok. The staff was very helpful and it is incredibly close to the dotonbouri with a family mart 30 meters away. I also booked a room with a washer/dryer that worked really well and had the detergent available in-room. The only issue with the hotel, like others have said, is the dark "theme" on the paint and rooms which makes it difficult to see at times in the hallways.

GREATA LOCATION. I felt like we’re right in the heart of things, we can walk any direction and there’s something to do. Booked the king size bed room with washer and dryer, so nice to be able to wash our clothes in our room during down time. I would say our room was quite spacious compared to the other rooms we’ve stayed in during our trip to Japan. Would recommend. The only thing is that this hotel is extremely dark, it was really hard to get ready in the mornings. If my the rooms were a bit brighter, other than that it was a good stay

Enjoyed our stay here. Traveled with my son, and we enjoyed the twin bed room with laundry. Everything was clean and enjoyed the water/tea in the room. We had no complaints and the area was walkable to the main areas. Day tour was able to pick us up from the hotel easily.

Courteous staff, room was a good size, washing machine in our room. Good size bathroom. Location was convenient, a very short walk from Dontonburi. Plenty of shopping and food options nearby.

kind and helpful staff and located in a good central part of osaka. a few complaints i would have are the pillows are not very comfortable and the lighting in the room and washroom and not suitable for doing make up as it is very dark and shadowy. other than that it was a good stay and it was nice to have a laundry machine

The room is nice and stylish. The beds are comfy. But the staff in general is not very talkative and not similing. The restaurant at night was very average, we had 2 of our meal 15 minutes after receiving the first 2. The hotel is cold in general and the bar at the entrance is always closed.

The in-room washing machine was a real plus and made my stay much easier. However, the room was far too dimly lit. I know it’s probably part of the design theme, but it just wasn’t practical—I kept struggling to find my things. Sure, I could’ve opened the curtains for more light, but there was an office building right next to my room, so privacy became an issue. A bit more lighting would make a world of difference. Overall, a decent stay, but the ambience shouldn’t come at the expense of basic functionality.
