良かった点は施設が全体的に清潔感がありおしゃれという点です。あとベッドはかなり良かったです。厳しいことを言うとそこだけは良かったです。

逆に改善して欲しい点は、
フロントでの対応。他ホテルに比べるとスマートな対応ではないです。スタッフ間の連携も微妙。落ち着きがないです。宿泊客はまずホテルに到着してフロントに行き、そこで一息つくはずです。それなのにフロントの対応次第で、すでにホテルへの不信感が生まれてしまうと思います。女性の年配の方ですが日本語での会話は基本だと思うのでおもてなしという面からもしっかりとした日本語を話せるようにした方が良いです。

朝食メニューは見た目は良いですが内容は残念というか物足りなさを感じました。ごはんがあるのにお味噌汁がない。だけどコーンスープはある。きんぴらごぼうはなら他に何かなかったのかなと感じました。期待以下の以下でした。

立地は便利ですが、夜が特に賑やかなので家族連れには少し不安はあります。

This property is beautiful. We rented a triple bed room with in room washer. There was ample space, especially compared to the other hotels we stayed in. Location was so close to both dontonburi and shinsekai. Trasnportation was easy, staff was great and the hotel was beautiful. I loved this hotel and would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful location makes this hotel a great option. The room size is very good for a Japanese hotel. Only negative the lighting was poor especially over basin trying to shave for a male or apply makeup for my wife was very difficult.

Location was perfect for us, not too far from Dontobori with lots of eatery near by, plus convenience store and just around the corner from the shopping stores. Room was clean and comfy, staff was friendly, and breakfast had a wonderful selection.

The service was great. We opted to have our luggage sent to our hotel ahead of time since we were taking the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka. The luggage was already waiting for us in the room. Breakfast had a great variety of foods and drinks. It was soooo convenient to have breakfast at the hotel. The room was spacious compared to our previous hotel. We actually had room to open our luggage!

We stayed here for 5 days and loved the hotel. It felt very cozy and was super close to stores and restaurants. We used once the laundry machine which was super convenient inside our bedroom. Alao, breakfast super convenient. The best part was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff who really do an excellent job making the guests feel welcome. I’ll definitely will come back and stay here agin.

This hotel couldn't have been in a more convenient location, just a few blocks from Dotonbori. It was modern, clean, stylish & the staff were very nice. Comfortable bed. Our room had a washer/dryer in it which was exceptionally convenient. From past reviews I was warned that it took forever for a cycle (around 3 hrs), but because we already knew that we planned ahead & put a load in before we left to go somewhere. Nothing like coming back to fresh, clean laundry! The room, although smaller than what we're used to back in the US, actually had some storage space so only 1 of us had to live out of our suitcases. It had a nice view of Osaka. One thing past reviews had mentioned is that the room & hallway was very dark. They didn't exaggerate! You could barely see yourself in the single mirror in the room. You could get a lighted make-up mirror if you asked, for no charge. It seems as though it would be such an easy fix to at least put a higher wattage bulb in the mirror/sink area!

One thing I especially want to mention is how helpful the staff were. My daughter left a box with all her jewelry in it at our previous hotel in Tokyo. They called the hotel, which ended up finding the box, & helped arrange a way for it to get back to her. Everything worked out well & she got her jewelry back.

So I would absolutely stay here again, even with the dark mirror area.

Very spacious and modern room that included a washer and dryer and a microwave, toilet and shower/bath in separate rooms. The view of the city was gorgeous and it's located pretty much steps from central dotonbori and about a five-ish minute straight shot walk to Namba station. There's a family mart right across the street and several of the most popular shopping and dining streets a few blocks away and there's usually a police officer patrolling right outside and in the surrounding blocks around the hotel.

Wow! I’m so glad we chose this hotel. The location - 10/10. The rooms and facilities - 10/10. Staff - 10/10.

I almost didn’t book this hotel because of the reviews about the rooms/design being “dark” (hard to see). Yes, the design uses a lot of dark colours but imbues a moody and sophisticated vibe.

We booked a room with an in-room washer/dryer combo and it was so helpful to throw in a load at the end of each day and keep our clothes clean and fresh.

Staff at the front desk, cleaners, and in the restaurant were all lovely - helpful, friendly and professional.

Highly recommend!

Outstanding hotel in outstanding location!

The hotel is beautiful and has an excellent location. The staff was very welcoming and serviceable. The room was comfortable, spacious, and the bathroom offered both options of shower and tub, which was superb. The washing machine (with English instructions), was very useful even though I did not I would use. Overall, it was a great stay.

Overall, very unfriendly staff. A very punitive system of fining for every imaginable perceived violation: they will charge you for a replacement room key; they will charge you if you forget to bring back your umbrella; they will charge you if you don’t check out exactly at 11 AM. You definitely get the impression they’re glad to see you go. Noise from the street is evident. Rooms definitely need better soundproofing. Hallways seemed noisy in the mornings. The only hotel so far that’s been this way throughout the country.

From the moment of arrival, the colour scheme and decor gave a feeling of greater luxury than the hotel rating would suggest. The staff were lovely and helpful, the rooms spacious and the beds comfortable - having our own washer/dryer was a game changer too!

Location is perfect for exploring Namba, Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori and is right on the Midosuji line for rapid access to other parts of the city. We'll definitely come back on our next trip to Osaka.

The hotel's location is very convenient. You can access it via Exit 14 of Namba Station, and it's about a 10-minute walk. Popular shopping areas like Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori are also within walking distance from the hotel.

The room is quite spacious. The room type we booked included a washing machine with a drying function, which is especially useful during the summer.
However, the lighting in the room is very dim. Women who need to do makeup will need to bring a lighted mirror, and even men who need to style their hair may find it inconvenient.

The overall design of the hotel leans towards being dark, which increases the risk of accidents. Extra caution is advised for guests traveling with children or elderly family members.

The most serious issue is the staff’s very poor English skills. As employees working in a major tourist destination, this level of service is quite disappointing.

When we got our first room it smelled horribly but the staff was quick to move us to another room. The rooms were tiny and the lighting was awful. It was really hard to see anything in that dark room. The staff was also very stingy when it came to giving us extra water or coffee.

Hotel was pretty dark. Could not put make up on, not enough proper lighting. They will however rent a lighted mirror to you. Iterly need a flashlight to get around.
Other than that it was very convenient and walkable to Dotonbori and surrounding areas. Location was perfect and across the street was designer heaven!

The location is excellent, within short walking distance to Namba station and Dotonbori, filled with shopping and dining options. Namba station has direct access to Kansai airport via Nankai line. The room though quite small is cosy and comfortable.

Really nice lobby. Hotel is in a great location in the city and has helpful staff. Nice amenities. The walls are thin and noise from other rooms comes in so there can be loud nights if other rooms are noisy.

Hotel ligt op een top locatie in de wijk Namba, in de buurt van het beroemde Dotonbori. We hadden een hoekkamer geboekt zodat we meer daglicht hadden op onze kamer. Het gehele interieur is nogal donker van kleur. Hoekkamer met een wasmachine op de kamer is zeker een aanrader. We hebben heerlijk geslapen goede matrassen met 2 verschillende kussens heel ideaal. Het ontbijt zat bij ons inbegrepen maar was niet bijzonder dat vind ik persoonlijk. In de buurt genoeg tenten.
Er is op de 2e verdieping rokersruimte.
Ik zou hier zeker terugkomen aanrader.

DISAPPOINTING AND UNENJOYABLE STAY

I stayed in room 1007 (10/F) for four nights, but unfortunately, my experience was FAR from enjoyable.

The door handle and card sensor were positioned in a poorly lit area, making access difficult, as if located in a CAVE without lighting.

The room itself had NO VIEW—it faced an office block in a narrow rear path corner with no direct sunlight. To make matters worse, the interior was extremely DARK, with black-toned furniture, flooring, and minimal lighting.

I requested an additional lamp stand from the concierge, but the POORLY arranged sockets meant I had to choose between blocking the passageway or sacrificing the use of the hairdryer, water boiler, or even the lights.

Overall, the experience was DISAPPOINTING and UNENJOYABLE due to the bad view, inconvenient layout and lack of proper lighting.

The location of this hotel was why I chose it. It was right in the middle of the night life areas. It was a 5 minute walk to the Glico Running Man. It was a further walk to train stations though. It The room itself was very clean and accommodating. The bed was a little on the firm side. The room was spacious enough or what we needed. I didn’t love how the shower opened straight into the room though because the floor would get wet and we struggled getting ready in the same space. There also isn’t any plugs near the sink with the mirror. If you are looking for something clean and close to shopping and dining this is a great choice!

Room was great! They provided a few soft drinks in the mini fridge and restocked them daily with limited housekeeping. The front desk staff were great and spoke English. They were very helpful with sending out bags to our next destination.

This hotel is better suited to solo or couples. The lay out of the premium twin rooms caused issues when taking showers. There was no privacy other than a small corner to block others view. Other than that the stay was great.
Location is excellent. Subway lines in all directions with 5-10 minutes.

We had a 7 night stay with Mercure Namba and honestly it was THE BEST STAY!!!! Of our month long trip in Japan. Excellent location (no more than 5 min walk to Dotonbori, 5min walk to Americura, step out the front door and shops galore but most importantly family mart right across the street IYKYK 😜) The staff were excellent, polite and very very very helpful!

When we return for our next trip I will not hesitate to book Mercure Namba again.

Very modern hotel, with a strong focus for business stay. Waste of room space with sink being in the room instead in the bathroom. Barely any shelves or storage space to unpack and store items. Not family friendly for little children. Would rather have more storage space than a laundry in the room

Room seemed spacious but due to the poor layout and furniture placement actually had very little space for 2 luggages that were even carry on sized. Also the in-room fridge regularly let out knocking noises throughout the night and was difficult to ignore. Staff was very professional and friendly though.

Totally Recommend!!!

Staff attention is excellent. Location is perfect. There are so many places to eat and shop. It is so secure to walk around. Train station is close by, Dotonbori is 3minutes away on foot. Namba is super close. You will be well connected. There is a combini right at the corner. Having the wash machine inside the room was the most convenient everrrr. Loved our stay in general. Would love to come back here.

Stayed at this hotel on our recent family trip to Osaka. Overall this hotel is good and I would easily recommend staying there if someone were looking for recommendations.

However we did have some general comments. Lighting in the rooms was low. I get the cool vibe, but it is not practical and after 6 days stay I was getting a bit frustrated with not being able to add more light to the room.

Friday and Saturday nights were super load! This is not to say that this is something that hotel caused or will be able to fix. The area is a party district and motorcycles fly past at 2-3am. All other nights were OK.

Housekeeping on a few occasions didn’t replenish our coffee pods, and we had to get reception to bring some more, which they promptly resolved, so no complaints there.

Hotel located right in the centre of everything! Which is amazing. So many options to eat, go for walks, shopping etc. really convenient and is located close by to a train station.

Non many people at the hotel speak English, so we struggled sometimes with getting advice. On one occasion we asked what would be the best way to get to Kansai Airport from the hotel and were given options but never told that purchasing tickets before 7am from bus terminal cannot be done using a credit card. Before 7am ‘only cash’ registers were available. I would assume that hotel staff working for an international hotel chain would be a bit more aware of local systems as they would be asked same question multiple times.

Osakada yeri mükemmel.Dotonboriye bikaç adım.Odalar geniş kullanışlı ve temiz.Çalışanlar çok kibar. İstasyondan gelirken otel metroya 10 dk yürüme mesafesinde.Havaalanı otobüselerine de aynı şekilde 10 dk yürüme mesafesinde. Temiz güzel yine kalınır.

Fantastic location

Location is fantastic. Just directly across the busy Shinsabashi shopping street and Glico man. Also just 3 mins walk to the biggest 24hrs Don DONKI. Surrounded by many eateries. However dislike the housekeeping policy which you have to stick one of 3 signs - Don not disturb, limited housekeeping which means only change towel and trash, or full housekeeping daily before 11am. It’s our relaxing holiday so we usually sleep late and will wake up late and we’ll leave room 12-1pm, which means can’t do full housekeeping. I find it ridiculous to make people leave room by 11am if want full housekeeping service. It’s a holiday and felt restricted. During my stay, they have just upgraded the tv to have extension channels such as Netflix, Disney, and YouTube which is wonderful, otherwise just Japanese channels and Fox News for English only. Front desk staffs are helpful and able speak fluent English. Room is good size and love the bathrobe and shower. Pillows are flat which need to improve. Overall pleasant stay.

The best thing is that the location is perfect because everything is close by. Other than that, the bed is not confutable, very noisy at night and I wish there is option for the AC that keeping it on other than auto.

Ein sehr modernes Hotel in 1A Lage. Die ganze Ausstattung ist stimmig und ansprechend. Dunkel aber sehr gemütlich.
Beim Frühstück bekommt man fast alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann.
Allerdings ist es manchmal sehr voll, dass man Wartezeit mit einrechnen muss. Außerdem war es auch sehr warm im Frühstücksbereich.
Die Zimmer sind gemütlich aber auch sehr klein. Die Sauberkeit könnte ein bisschen besser sein, ich erwarte für den Preis und die Kategorie doch fleckenfreie Dekokissen und einen ordentlich gesaugten Teppichboden.
Ansonsten alles sehr stimmig.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Abreisetag konnte ich mein Gepäck noch bis 14 Uhr deponieren. Der Fußweg zur Namba Station (Flughafen) war ca. 8 Minuten, einfach nur die Hauptstraße hoch, also super easy.
Dotonbori mit Shopping und Nachtleben ist quasi direkt vor der Tür, ebenso die Luxus Shopping Meile.
Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier einchecken.

Toilet smells of urine, asked to clean but did not do a good job and it still smells. Room is dusty (keep sneezing when in the room) The entire property is dark (not bright) hence plenty of spot lights which make the eyes discomfort (too glaring)
