下次还会入住

We had some really big issues while checking in, because they said that the previous guest had lost a key (card) to their room.
So we had to wait until the staff resolved new cards for us, they couldn’t solve it after 1h and decided to open our door for us with their master key every time we needed to go home. We then found several silverfishes on our bed and on the interior…

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect for us. It was just enough off the beaten path to not feel busy and touristy, but within walking distance to a number of sights and transportation options.
The staff here are wonderful! They were helpful with restaurant recommendations, anything we needed for our room, and were just genuinely so kind.
Our room was spacious and the layout allowed for lots of places to put our stuff. It was definitely our favorite room on our trip!
I also have to put in a word for the cafe across the street, Le Bac a Sable. While the baked goods are not Japanese, they are yummy. The tarts, specifically, are amazing! That paired with their wonderful bold coffee became a favorite addition to our day.

Tolle Lage, sehr schöne und hochwertige Einrichtung. Es wäre schön, wenn sich auch alle westlichen Gäste daran halten würden, die Schuhe in den Zimmern auszuziehen. Gerne wieder!

Die Unterkunft hat sehr große Zimmer für japanische Verhältnisse, die unfassbar schön eingerichtet und ausgestattet sind.
Sie liegt sehr zentral in Kyoto, sodass man viele Restaurants und Stores fußläufig erreichen kann. Auch eine Bus und Ubahn Verbindung ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, was auch fernere Ziele mühelos erreichbar macht.
Ebenfalls bietet das Hotel eine kostenlose Bar mit Getränken und Kaffee an.

Trotz all dem ist es sehr ruhig in den Zimmern.
Alles in allem das beste Hotel unserer Japantour.

Great location and walkable distance to several tourist areas, such as the Yasaka Pagoda, and easy commute to other notable areas, such as Nishiki market via city bus. Great food stores, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. The staff was very helpful and eager to interact with us, great customer service.

The best hotel I’ve stayed at here in Japan so far. Really pleasant and nice workers. The ambiance and decor is so calming in a traditional modern Japanese style. Didn’t have breakfast included as an option, however the hotel does sell açaí bowls with bread. They have free coffee, water, and tea for all guests. Desk attendant helped us send our luggage to another hotel.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Top Ausstattung. Gut zu erreichen. U-Bahn direkt vor der Tür. Die Bahnhaltestelle ist ca. 10 min zu Fuß entfernt. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke ( Kombini / Supermarkt)

Schönes, stylisches Zimmer. Sehr gutes Bett. Alles sehr Benutzerfreundlich arrangiert. Nachteil ist der Verkehrslärm. Das Hotel liegt praktisch direkt an einer Kreuzung. Dafür ist die Metro Station keine 100 m entfernt.

Perfect location that is a short walk near train and subway stations. Also perfectly located between downtown Kyoto’s shopping and restaurants, and the historic sightseeing area. Room was large, clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property is small but large enough to offer excellent service. Great location close to a station, stores and restaurants including a lovely bakery. Common areas by the lobby were very useful with complimentary beverages. Very well managed with helpful staff.

Review from Canadian tourist: Staff was able to speak a good amount of English and everything was explained to us upon check in. Across the street from train station allowed us to get around easy. 10 minute walk from the river with lots of food options. Place itself was clean and spacious. Free coffee in the mornings in the lobby. Staff and everyone was very friendly and greeted us every time we walked by. Would highly recommend staying here.

Charming yet practical in the central location.

I love the tidiness and cleanesss. The reception is quick and kind enough.

The location is close enough to the city center, yet less crazy. Walking to Heian Shrine was perfect!!!

I recommend this location to all.

This was our fifth hotel stay in Japan and the most expensive. It was also the most disappointing. Our room (despite what other reviews say) was small and we had to move because of a very strong smell in our shower. The breakfast counter was dark and unfriendly - any utensils have to be booked out. A note of where to buy supplies would have been really helpful - Fresco Supermarket and Le Bac au Sable were great. There were no other amenities such as a washing machine and generally we felt let down. The staff were friendly but not helpful although we were there 5 nights. Cannot recommend.
