セキュリティ度は不安なホテル(滞在日に非常階段扉が開いていて、その横にあった消化器の安全ピンが抜かれて放置されていた。エレベーターも誰でも出入り出来てカードでの解除無し！

内装がオシャレでお部屋も綺麗でした。朝食が付いていればもっと良かったです。首都高沿いにあるので深夜でも車の音はしますがそこまで気にならなかったです。
ホテル周辺の外のにおいが気になりましたが、駅からも近くお店も沢山あったので便利でした。
施設自体はとても良いと思います。

海外の方が、日本語で対応されるので、励まされました。私も、英会話初心者なので、気兼ねなく英語の片言で、お話し出来て、楽しかったです。ほんと、都会の隠れ屋で、中は、静かで、過ごしやすかったです。

廁所很大有浴缸，盥洗用品是自取的，毛巾建議用白色的感受更好，房間不錯床很舒服，但2個行李箱會打不開，整理行李需要一些技巧，裡車站不遠很方便

Overall pretty good experience.

The blinds was letting in light when the sun rises even though it's closed. There's little areas where the light goes through. No room cleaning for consecutive night stay. Also self service to get new towels and amenities and you'll have to throw away trash daily.

About 5-8 mins walk to Ueno station which is convenient. There's also 7-11 and Family mart nearby. Staff are friendly and polite. Easy check-in and check-out.

The picture on Expedia looks like a nice proper hotel. Surprise to find it hidden along the shops. Have to take an old lift to the lobby.
The place is clean as per Japanese standard. Room is big for 3 of us. Looks like student accommodation. No view though.
Location very convenient to UENo station.
Staff are polite.

Blinds on the window allow you to be greeted by the sunrise each morning. Hotel guest need to clear rubbish and linen on their own rach day.

This is a affordable place to stay, it's location is good. It has high CP value. I recommend the hotel to remove the chair to save some space.

The reception has limited time. Although the hotel leaves us the contact number when staff are not around, it didn’t work for a while. I needed to leave a luggage in the morning until the next stay after a week. I almost missed the flight as none responded to my calls.

Very conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Ueno Station. Easy check in and check out. Across the road is a 711. Exhaust fans in bathroom would be good in winter as high condensation after 4 people showering.

Convenient location near Ueno Station

Good location and convenient for travel as the hotel is located near Ueno Station with a few minutes walk. Staff are in general friendly but mostly speaking Japanese & using translation app for check in. Beddings are comfy. But no cleaning, trash disposal and towel changing for long stay travellers —self service required!

Worst than 2018

The room was spacious. Check in was not flexible and not friendly. Bedding with blood stains.

Been stayed with this hotel back in 2018 and there was light breakfast but not anymore, too disappointed!

I didn’t know much about this hotel before booking. It is based on self help e.g.

1. Throughout my stay from Nov 04 to Nov10, upon check-in, I was told no staff will enter the room to change bed sheets, also not cleaning. I was instructed to take litter to collecting bin on 2 fl.

2. I was also told for used/dirty towels, I must return to 2fl. collecting bin, and pick up clean towels from 3fl office.

3. In the 5 times I went to 3rd floor check in counter, always greeted by a new face and many staffs only speak very basic English. Some Can’t give clear / understandable answers.

4. When I checked out on Nov 10, around 7:15am, there’s no staff on duty at the office counter. There’s a notice: telling guests just return the room key into a small box for checking out.


The above is not complain, just let your company know the real situation.

沒有執房、清垃圾及補充水服務！如果住一晚無問題…我地住兩晚清程度就唔滿意；缺乏人手唔係一個最大嘅解釋原因，住宿超過一晚沒有執房清潔服務係冇減到呢個服務費；其他尚可接受祇因為房租太貴而覺得唔抵！

우에노역이랑 가깝고 조용해서 좋았는데 화장실문이 쾅쾅 닫혀서 깜짝 놀라는것만 참고하면 될것같습니다

Great stay in the heart of Ueno

Great stay! Prime location. It’s close to Ueno station and the Ueno Kesei Skyliner if you’re flying in from Narita Airport. The rooms are small, and the bathroom layout is different than what you see in most Tokyo hotels, but it’s cozy. Most staff didn’t speak English but they’re so great and will help with anything! Will be back soon!

Building is old, toilet and bathroom together, old tiles on the wall, bad smell in the corridor....

Reservation staff was nice but not skillful enough. They were not really handling it well when my reservation info didn't show up right away and I was fretting. Staff started to speak Chinese to me although I told him I prefer Japanese. And having to insist on that for 3 times to have him switch to Japanese was also not well...

Bed was good but towels give an unpleasant smell.

I believe for this quality, the price is so much overrated.

Pros: Excellent service at front desk.
Cons: Only one tiny elevator for entire hotel, hotel needs a major renovation to update everything, tile in bathroom floor and around sink needs to be cleaned, no lobby area (check in is on the third floor in a 12x12 sq ft room), emergency exit that leads to staircase outside of building does not have secured doors on each floor, ugly old brown towels in bathroom.

Quite good value

Good location. Clean. Spacious Bathroom. Staying on the high floor was quiet. The makeup removal provides was good.

The rooms is small.
No cleaning service.
The curtains are blinds. It could not block the sun and make the room so bright after sunrise.
