早く到着したにも関わらずチェックインをしてくださいました。フロントの方の対応がとても良かったです。
客室も綺麗で製氷機と浄水機の設備が有り難かったです。
何よりスカイツリーの見える屋上には家族揃って大喜びでした。
また機会があれば是非利用させて頂きます。

屋上テラスは、邪魔するものなくスカイツリーが見え、大変満足しました。

アップグレードって…？

四泊しました。チェックイン時に、アップグレードして少し広いお部屋の致しましたと言われ、喜んで部屋に行ったら、スーツケースも広げられない狭い部屋でした。アップグレードしなかったらもっと狭い部屋それともフロントの勘違い？しかも友達も一泊別で予約しており、部屋を見せてもらったら、私よりも広くて特にアップグレードとかはなかったとのこと。部屋のタイプも私と同じタイプの部屋を予約していましたが、友達の方が広かった。この不思議な現象はなんだったのか、ホテルに聞いてみたいです。

とても良いホテルでした。
屋上デッキはとても夜景が綺麗だったのでお勧めです。
この時期だったからなのか、エアコンが、暖房と送風しか選べず風呂上がりや就寝時は冷房に切り替え快適に過ごすことが出来なかったのが1つ残念だった点です。

Excellent hotel that was clean, comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Few minutes walk to Sensoji and many restaurants and cafes.
It is a 15-min walk to the Asakusa metro station.

I had a great stay! The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful—they even assisted with forwarding my luggage. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the Senso-ji Temple, which made sightseeing easy. I would definitely book again.

Hotel Kanzashi is a basic, clean option in Asakusa with the key advantage of being very close to Sensoji Temple. However, it’s quite far from the nearest train station, which becomes tiring—especially after a long day of walking around Tokyo. I agree with other reviews mentioning that the walk back to the hotel can feel like a chore after a full day out.

One thing that didn’t sit well with me personally was the standard check-in process. After going through the effort of finding the hotel, it was frustrating to be asked to fill out a form with information they already had from my booking. I understand this is common in Japan, but it felt redundant and unnecessary after a long journey.

Overall, the stay was fine—clean and quiet—but nothing particularly outstanding. If you’re mainly looking for proximity to Sensoji and don’t mind walking a bit more, it does the job.

Localização muito boa, sim tem que andar 16 min até o metrô, mas tem uma rua de lojas muito legal ,um templo e muita diversão. Então não e um problema.O bairro e muito tranquilo tem restaurantes próximos . Sou chato pra hotel e este vale a pena.Reserve sem café da manhã , não vale a pena .

Perfect location for exploring the Asakusa neighbourhood including the SkyTree with easy links to other Tokyo areas. Clean albeit slightly dated rooms but a lovely base for full days out exploring. Plenty of convenience stores nearby. The complimentary pyjamas were great. Room small but that’s typical of Tokyo - comfortable bed and excellent Japanese high tech toilet.

La chambre était plus petite que sur les photos et pas aussi belle qu’il semblait. Elle ne comporte aucun rangement ce qui n’était pas pratique pour rester 11 jours. Le personnel bien que très gentil n’a pas su bien me renseigner à plusieurs sujets ou me régler mes problèmes simplement. Le quartier est très sympa c’est vraiment le point fort par contre vous êtes à 15 min à pied du métro ce qui peut être long quand vous êtes chargés.


Bien mais pas exceptionnel.

The rooftop is really spectacular but small. The rooms are tiny. Breakfast was not included so we had to wander and wait until 10 to get in somewhere else.

Pretty ordinary

Small rooms, staff not particularly friendly or helpful.
Dryers in laundry room very inefficient.
We stay in Tokyo for a week every year, have had fantastic experiences everywhere else.
Certainly won’t be staying here again.

the hotel itself was nice & clean, but personally found the area around it to be a bit boring/lacking in activities. it’s very close to sensoji temple & nakamise shopping street which was nice to see once but is constantly crowded/full of tourists during the day. might be a great location for some but depending on what you’re travelling for, we were mostly interested in anime attractions & shopping thus found ourselves with little to do here & was inconvenient needing to take multiple subway transfers to get to akihabara etc. ~15 min walk to the station as well.

A fantastic location adjacent to many of the desirable destinations in Asakusa, including easy access to train/Metro stations serving the Tsukuba Express, Ginza Line, and Asakusa Line. Ueno Station and Ueno Park are a leisurely 1.25-1.5 mile (2-2.5 km) walk from the property, mostly through quieter neighborhoods. Lots of dining and shopping options close by.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating (including transacting in English), the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Note that two western-sized travelers would benefit from a Superior Twin room or larger, especially if traveling with bulky suitcases. Convenient on site laundry, and the staff facilitated luggage shipment to our next hotel.

this hotel is affordable, well located, neat, professional and convenient in every way. in asakusa, close to train stations, sight seeing. hotel is super clean and modern, rooms are fine regarding size, they have a nice terrace with an AWESOME view. i loved that they keep your luggage at check in and check out for convenience, they also have the luggage drop off service in case you want your suitcase delivered at the airport (which i used cause asakusa station that takes you to the airport is 20 min away by walking and carrying your luggage is a pain SPECIALLY because of the stairs) I recommend this hotel 100.

Very clean quiet hotel. Close to temple and the market. A short 10-15 minute walk to the train/subway station. Hotel will hold your luggage until official check in. Lovely hidden coffee shops near hotel in side streets. Hotel does not have a gathering place to sit in the lobby. Lovely rooftop with a view. Staff could not recommend places to eat- you will be a commercial area map.

This hotel is a 5-star 3-star hotel. Not fancy, but very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Great staff, who were very helpful and welcoming. Amazing location out of the craziness of Tokyo but easy to get to all the main tourist attractions. Will gladly stay there again

I loved the area the property was located in, it was perfect for what I wanted to see in Asakusa. The hotel worked for all my needs. The view from my window was amazing, and the view from the roof terrace was beautiful at night.

The rooms are slightly larger than the average hotel in Tokyo and the views are excellent! The location is great too, it’s in a nice quieter area right outside asakusa that has plenty of local spots in addition to the main attraction. My only issue with the room was that the in room ac unit didn’t cool super well, I like to sleep in a very cold room and Tokyo hotels are kept at tropical temps in the winter. Would happily stay again!

Loved my stay in the Kanzashi hotel, location was extremely convenient with transportation, lots of stores and restaurants walking distance. The fact that I was able to walk to Senjoi temple was the best part! Can’t recommend it enough :)

We are very happy we chose to stay in Asakusa and at the Kanzashi Tokyo Hotel. It was well-maintained, clean and conveniently located within walking distance to the Senso-Ji temple. The room was on the smaller side which is typical for Japan but didn't feel suffocating. The bed was comfortable but the duvet was like sleeping in a cloud, the most comfortable bedding lol
Check-in was a breeze and the staff were friendly and helpful with storing our luggage upon arrival and checkout so we could explore the city.
The location was great for us as it is on a quieter main street with a Lawson's and 7-11 steps away. While you are about a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station, the streets are so beautiful, its such a lovely walk.
The close proximity to the Senso-Ji temple area was great as delicious food and shopping was a short walk away.
We would definitely recommend the Kanzashi Hotel and would return during our next visit.

Nice hotel. Rooms are decently sized. Easy check in and out. Staff are super friendly. They clean the room daily except that they change the sheets every 3 days. Everything else were restocked like coffee, tea, and bathroom necessities on a daily basis. Nice view of Asakusa and Skytree on the 13th floor. Short walking distance to Sensoji temple but not to train stations. A lot of good food options and shopping around the area. Overall, had a very pleasant stay.

The Kansashi is a distance away from both the train stations, only Bus stop is nearby. Recommended for one to take taxi over instead. The bathroom and toilet were in shared space. For 4 of us to take turns to use the bathroom, was inconvenient. Nothing fanciful near the hotel except temple. As most of the restaurants operate till 1900 jst, we found the eating areas limited.

On top of the great location, clean rooms and very good value.. I foolishly forgot my purse on the (fabulous) rooftop viewing deck by accident. It was found by the attentive hotel staff and returned to me with all of the contents still inside at the front desk. Needless to say I had a wonderful experience with the Kansashi hotel and will be back next visit!
