河原町5条のバス停がホテルの目の前、セブンイレブンもホテル1階直結、スーパーも信号を渡ればあったので便利でした。
河原町4条と比べると周囲の店は圧倒的に少ないですが、子供と一緒だったので、丁度良かったです。

事前に人数変更の際に電話をしました。対応はいまいちでしたが、滞在中は快適に過ごすことができました。交通の便もよく、チェックインアウト前後にも荷物を預けることができるので、とても助かりました！

過剰すぎず、最低限のサービスが整っており、清潔で、非常に満足しました。初めてだったのでフロントの方にチェックインの方法を教えていただいたのですがわかりやすくスムーズで、歯ブラシ・パジャマ・スリッパも必要な分だけ借りることができました。個人的には歯ブラシのコップが紙コップだったのが「これで十分!」と思いました。朝軽食をセルフで食べることができたのもよかったです。
下にセブンイレブンがあるので、なにか不足分はすぐ買いにいくことができます。

部屋が可愛かったし新しいのか綺麗だった。
湯船はないがシャワールームは広くて快適だった。
アニメティなどは部屋にないのでフロント横から持ってくるか、借りに行く必要がある。
コンビニが一階にあるので便利。

Awesome hotel, location is great. Welcoming staffs, complimentary breads for breakfast, hot wine during Christmas. Amenities are limited but not a big deal. Room is clean and has separated toilet from shower, spacious with a bunk bed. If the color of room isn’t black then it will be perfect.

Hotel con design carino ma purtroppo molto deludente dal punto di vista della pulizia. Le aree comuni e le camere erano visibilmente sporche, con moquette ovunque e tantissima polvere, al punto da risultare davvero fastidioso.
Le stanze sono estremamente buie: l’arredamento nero e l’illuminazione insufficiente fanno sì che in pratica non si veda quasi nulla all’interno della camera. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere per ben tre volte che la stanza venisse pulita davvero, perché c’erano letteralmente depositi di polvere negli angoli.
La posizione è invece molto buona e comoda per visitare Kyoto. Proprio per questo, il consiglio è di cercare un altro hotel nella stessa zona, perché al momento non ci sentiamo di consigliare il Tavinos.

Clean room, luggage service was amazing from check in and check out! Convenience store is located right under the property. Very close to Nishiki market. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Tavinos Kyoto, and while there were some positives, our experience was mixed overall. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and the room size was decent for Kyoto standards. We appreciated the smart layout ,especially the space to store luggage under the bed, which made the room feel more functional.

However, the bedding situation was a complete disappointment. The pillows, mattress, and overall bed setup were extremely uncomfortable, and it made it difficult for both of us to get a proper night’s rest. For a hotel that otherwise gets the basics right, the bedding quality really took away from our stay.

With more comfortable beds, this could easily be a great and reliable place to stay — but until that’s improved, we wouldn’t choose to return.

Easy accessible for local parks and shopping. My only issue is how dark the rooms are. Especially leaving the hotel and stepping outside it is almost blinding. Also makes it difficult to get ready in the mornings. Especially for those who wear makeup. The room was almost clean, but it was quite dusty in areas and the toilet wasn’t very clean when we arrived.

The room and the hotel were very clean. The hotel is located about 25 minutes was from the Tokyo train station, great location!

The room we booked, had two beds and were on a little platform which gave us a little more room to store our bags and luggages under the beds. The room was a little bigger compare to the standard Japanese room. There is a small refrigerator in the room.

The complimentary breakfast consist on free coffee, tea and 2 différents types of pastries. You can seat on the patio outside or in the main area inside. They offer a very safe automated luggage service. I traveled with my Mother and we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Tavinos. There is a 7 eleven attached to the hotel, a grocery store located in front of the hotel and many restaurants near by.

The hotel has a great location, close to the river and within walking distance of some important places to see.
There is a great vibe, especially among or for, young people who hang out in the lobby area made for eating, meeting, etc.
The room was definitely too small for us, but we knew it before booking the room, so if you are travelling with a lot of luggage it may be a hindrance. Especially since there is only a small platform to sit on, so no chairs or somewhere to rest your back except the bed.

The room decor and design were very cool and hip and the staff were nice. However, the shower smelled of mildew and the bed and pillows were not comfortable. It was in a pretty convenient location to the train stations and shopping though. The complimentary refreshments were nice.

The only thing I did not like about this hotel was the stains that was all over the carpet and how hard the mattress was. Other then that the staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a easy walkable location. It also nice that seven eleven is right down stairs.

Don’t do it. Bed was hard and pillows were worse. Had to go out to buy a pillow to be able to rest. You will be tired after going out to explore Kyoto all day. Would recommend spending a bit more for a better place to stay at. Will not stay here again.

Nice and trendy with an amazing price. Location is great for bus rides to sight seeing locations. Shops and malls are less than a mile around.

The lack of staff and customer interaction was the only thing I wish was better. We have been to two other hotels on this Japan trip. This was the only hotel that did not know who to transfer luggage from hotel to hotel.

Pros: Liked the theme of the hotel. Lounge space and clown machines were cool. Walkable distances from delicious restaurants and the Nishiki Market. Luggage space under the bed is handy since the room is very small. Washing clothes was 100¥ cheaper than other hotels I've been to.

Cons: Found the dark walls to be dreary after a while. Carpet had stains. Bathroom reminded me of a porta potty. If you don't sleep on the floor at home I wouldn't recommend staying here since the beds are futons so mattress and pillows are flat. Room is not accommodating for big people.

Best hotel we stayed in during our Japan trip! Would definitely recommend to first time travellers! The breakfast that is included is quite simple but still good if you want to quickly eat something before leaving early since most places in Japan only open at 10am. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is staying on the section they call "room with a view". They will let you choose your room based on the availability they have and will give you otpions between "quiet and no view" or "room with a view". We choose the view one and it was very loud during the night. Not worth it in our opinion. But other than that it was a 10/10 stay!

A really cute hotel about 15 min walk to Teramachi street. Really cool self service luggage storage system, the whole hotel is designed to be as self service as possible but still have staff on hand if needed. Be warned this hotel is located on a busy junction so not for light sleepers unless you're exhausted. There was a lot of road noise through the night plus road works, I don't usually have issue with noise but I struggled to sleep and had to put earplugs in.

Close to shopping and train. Rooms very dark with all the black walls including the bathroom. Poor lighting. Triple room was uncomfortably tiny with our 3 large luggage and carryons. Trash wasn’t picked up from room the entire 3 days. One of those days, we were offered additional towels.

The property and hotel complex are fine, but the only redeeming feature is the location. However, the price-performance ratio is poor. The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable, and the room is tiny. In my case, we were a group of three; you literally can't move, and there's no room for your luggage.

This hotel was hands down amazing. The room was so clean, so nice, extremely aesthetic. There was a dinning area with a balcony overlooking Kyoto. Overall it was just a beautiful hotel. Everything about it was amazing. If I come back to Japan we will be staying at this hotel again, for longer since it was a great experience. There was the best 7/11 in all of Japan located right at the bottom of the hotel too. Everything was so convenient and great. 10/10.

Basic hotel. Good value for money.

The hotel is well located. You can reach most tourist attractions walking. The bus stop for the bus from the station is in front of the hotel. The rooms are very small, but you have all you need. Modern style. Free very simple breakfast (coffee, tea and croissants only). Their philosophy is to be sustainable (rooms are done only every three days), but huge amounts of plastic stuff at breakfast. Possibility to wash your clothes. Very good value for money.

El espacio es reducido como todo en Japón, pero muy bien distribuido con una mesa muy útil. La cama es muy cómoda y lo suficientemente grande para dos personas. Muchos lugares turísticos y relevantes están cerca caminando o en metro y la estacion igual está a un par de cuadras. Tiene una tienda de conveniencia literalmente al lado. ¡Una muy buena opción para hospedarse!

It was nice and chill. They had a washer and dryer and space to work on downstairs. I liked the room and the art throughout the whole building. Good for families as well with a 7-11 right below. Was not far from train or meeting up with my tour group. Very convenient.

The lounge was very nice. The staff was friendly. The rooms were extremely small with small storage and no shelves or desk or anything at all. Just a small cubby at the end of the bed. And the bathroom? Worse. One small shelf above the sink and a smaller one under the sink. My husband and I had nowhere to put anything. It may be good for one person per room, but that’s it. On top of this, the washer and dryers did not work well. My clothes came out still wet after extending the drying twice. And they smelled bad afterwards. On top of that, they’re small, and there was constantly someone waiting to do laundry.

這是一間距離清水五条站很近的新飯店，房內空間大，床下可以放置兩個登機箱，電視下方可以敞開一個29吋行李箱仍有空間走動，飯店提供24小時入住服務，報到使用櫃檯旁邊的自助機台（可以選擇不同語言）很方便，員工英文溝通能力足以協助所有旅客。
一樓是7-11便利商店，便利商店旁邊隔一條馬路是一間日式餐廳（有自助點餐機），飯店（十字路口）斜對角是一間小型超市，可以購買生活所需以及特價水果。
房價以京都地區而言算是十分便宜，距離清水寺、錦市場等景點都不算遠，若再次到訪京都願意再次入住。
