満足

以前にも宿泊した事があり、非常に良かった記憶で再度お世話になりました。基本的に満足なのですが、以前より朝食で供されるメニューの種類や部屋のスイーツなどが減少しており、「記憶よりは…？」と感じてしまいました。物価上昇の中で宿泊代を据え置く為など色々あると思いますが、個人的にはグルメホテルならではの良さを少し価格が上がったとしても優先して貰った方がリピートするなと思いました。

2回目の利用です。チェックインの時に頂いた紅茶もマカロンも美味しかったです。事前に誕生日ということを伝えていたらお部屋に嬉しいサプライズをご用意頂いていました！感動しました。お部屋はもちろん大変美しくホテルステイを満喫できました。レストラン、ケーキ、お部屋、フォションホテルの世界観大好きです。また絶対泊まりたいです。

高瀬川、鴨川にも近く
四条まで歩いてすぐですが四条三条の喧騒から離れてゆっくりとすごすことが出来ました。
スタッフの方々もフレンドリーで、
朝食も東山を眺めながらとても美味しくいただけました。

パリの空気を感じる最高のホテル

今回は2度目の利用だったので「お帰りなさい」と迎えていただきました。フロントスタッフ、レストラン、ティーサロン、館内どこへ行ってもとにかく素晴らしい接客でした👍また是非利用させていただきたい最高のホテルです。

女性の憧れが詰まったようなお部屋。清潔で美しく静かで一日中お部屋でくつろげます。
スタッフのホスピタリティは中程度、若いスタッフが多い印象、伸び代がありきっと改善すると信じています。

ホテル内のレストランでフレンチを頂きましたが美味しくありませんでした。
京都内での定宿を探すつもりで選びましたがもう泊まること無いと思います。

Service is over the top. Daisuke, the guest services manager runs the hotel with precision and never fails to take care of his guests. The rooms are beautiful and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Dyson hairdryers are just the beginning. A beautiful spread of hors d’ oeuves are serves every afternoon in the lounge. We are grateful to have found this hotel and will definitely be back.

The staff was amazing! On a scale of 1-10, they get an 11!
It is obvious that the Fauchon brand puts a lot of emphasis on training their staff and it shows. From the cleaning staff (room was spotless) to the concierge staff (special shout out to Momoka and Daisuki) who greatly care about meeting the needs of guests.

This hotel is an absolute gem. The staff is amazing and went out of their way to help us in everything. The rooms are exceptionally well equipped and have great amenities and extras. The hotel is a short walk to Gion and the lovely old quarter as well as only a 10 minute taxi from the Shinkansen. If you are staying in Kyoto and want luxury combined with convenience at a great price this hotel is for you. Wonderful

This is top class boutique hotel in a quiet part of Kyoto. The transport links are excellent and we made use of the bus (right outside), metro, jr line, bullet train and local tram. We day tripped to Osaka, Nara and Hiroshima all from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would not recommend the lounge access here as we hardly used it due to limited timings and number of guests it doesn’t compare to large 5 star hotels. The breakfast is al a carte which I enjoyed. It did get a bit repetitive with only one change on the second sitting. We stayed 9 days in a suite. Lots of complimentary extras in the room.

I love staying at Fauchon Hotel Kyoto for so many reasons—the beautiful and thoughtful interior design details, the kind staff, and the location! When I checked in, Kana, who was helping me, was kind enough to upgrade me to a bigger room where I had a view of the cherry blossoms in bloom outside. Also, my room offered free snacks to take home in a cute tote bag! Because of my Expedia Silver status, I got a discount for food at the hotel, so I tried out the high tea with a friend. We really enjoyed how beautiful everything was. The hotel’s location is great in that there’s a convenience store, bus, and train station within walking distance. You can check out cherry blossoms nearby, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. (I found a really cute café called Kawa Café, where you have a beautiful view of Kamo River with sakura trees lining the riverbank. This cafe even has a cute cat called Kawa-chan!) When I checked out, the concierge helped me get a taxi to go to my next destination. All in all, I had such a great stay here and would recommend this hotel to everyone. I would love to stay here again someday.

The hotel location is excellent. We walked to most of the main sites and found great places to eat nearby

I would recommend this hotel to everyone

Great boutique hotel it is our second time experiencing the brand and it is great. The breakfast was amazing every day. The rooms are large and well kept. The cleaning service was excellent as expected. Hotel is very well located in a friendly and walkable neighborhood, however hotel personnel is always ready and able to assist with transportation.

This place is truly an experience. Amazing customer service, specifically by Daisake. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and clean. Rooms with access to the lounge give you access to light appetizers and cocktails for a few hours in the afternoon. The downside of this is it is so good it is easy to just have that for dinner and miss all of the amazing food in Kyoto.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel and we love the staff from reception desk to the breakfast area and special lounge. I will definitely return to this delightful hotel. It is also located at a great place in Kyoto and many activities are walkable distance. Hotel personnel is really looking for the most to help you. After a bad fall in a tour, when I returned to the hotel, they provided big I e-pockets which helped much. Thank you Fauchon for this wonderful memories you helped us create. To the next time!

Excellent Excellent Excellent 6 🌟

I’ve been to 53 countries in the 🌏. I was very impressed with this hotel. First starters , the location of the hotel is perfect. It’s centrally located to everything (walking distance to major shops, old town etc. the room is spacious with a huge comfortable bed. Upon every arrival you’re greeted with a hand towel and a bottle of water (brutal summer months)

The STAFF is amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure the client is taken care of. Every single need of mine was met with no complains.

I have to give a HUGE thanks to Jin . She’s of the front desk managers. I can’t explain the measures she went through for me to get all of the things I needed. From Baccarat items to last minute dinner reservations. The hotel should be grateful to have her as an employee and I hope whoever reads this message from the hotel will acknowledge her accordingly.

Also, thanks to the other manager (male) I can’t remember his name at the moment however, he was always amazing in assisting with client relations. He recommended a few places to visit in Osaka.

Lastly, the hotel restaurant is superb. Excellent breakfast and lunch. They also have a small shop downstairs upon entering the hotel.


I would definitely recommend this hotel. I’m actually looking forward to staying here upon my next visit to Kyoto. Thank You hotel Fauchon and keep up the excellent customer service.

Great stay in Kyoto

Fabulous stay. Rooms are on the smaller side but well done and comfortable. My only recommendation is that they have an iron in the room; the steamer is pretty much useless.
