ご飯が美味しい老舗の宿

三条の繁華街に近く便利な宿です。
宿に入れば静かな空間となり落ち着きます。
私の利用した部屋は、水回り（トイレ・お風呂）が古かったので、そこは気になりました。
食事は朝食だけでしたが、とても美味しかったです。
良い老舗の宿だと思いました。

京都中心地でゆっくり過ごすには良い

連泊だったので、ホテルより大きい部屋と思い、旅館タイプのこちらの宿を予約しました。大通りに面している割には静かでした。京都らしさを出しているのでしょうが、玄関の香はちょっときつすぎると思います。毎日中にいる方は、だんだん鈍くなっているのでしょうか。外国人宿泊者が多いせいか、大浴場はいつもガラガラで快適でしたが、浴室の気温が低くて、なかなか湯船から出られませんでした。脱衣場にごみや髪の毛が多く落ちてました、頻繁に掃除しないのであれば、クイックルのようなものを置いていただけると、不快にならずに済むと思います。部屋、設備自体はやや古い感じがします。その点からも宿泊代は少し高いかなと感じました。街歩きには立地として最高の場所です。

ゆったりした時間を過ごせました、好印象です^^

年老いた母との２人旅。どの係の方も適度な距離感で接して下さいましたので大変リラックス出来ました。食事は事前にしゃぶしゃぶに変更をお願いしましたが肉質も良く量も十二分で美味しく頂きました〜京野菜的なものは特になかったと記憶していますが季節柄松茸が添えられていました！感激！でも個人的に松茸は焼くかすき焼きで頂く方が美味しいと思うので...しゃぶしゃぶにはちょっともったいないのかな？と思ってしまいました、せっかくなのにすみません（＞＜）朝食も美味しくて満足でした^^
お部屋は10畳の和室に次の間も広く京都での宿泊でこの価格帯は全体の内容を考えるとオススメできます。ひとつ「あああ・・（涙）」と思ったのは朝食後にシャワーを浴びようと思っていたのですが寝具の片付けと一緒にバスタオルも回収されていたことくらいでしょうかw
散策するにも良いエリアでしたが宿から歩いて１分のスタバ三条大橋店には鴨川べりに木組みの川床があってあまりの気持ち良さに長居をしてしまいましたw。
私はいろいろなお宿に泊まりたいタイプなのでリピする事はあまり無いのですがこちらにはまたお世話になると思います。

リーズナブル。ビジネスホテルより雰囲気も。

繁華街に近くどこに行くにも便利。一流旅館のとはいかないが、気分も味わえる。同じ値段で狭いビジネスホテルに泊まるよりずっといい選択肢では。

観光に最適

朝食のみのプランで宿泊しました。何よりも便利な場所にあり、観光拠点としては最適です。スタッフの人もみなさん、笑顔で丁寧で好感が持てました。シンプルで余計な物も余計なサービスもなかったことが返って楽でした。朝食もおいしかったです。ただ、エアコンの音がうるさくて、寝つきが少々妨げられましたが、寝てしまえば問題ありませんでした。気楽に泊まれる宿として、また利用したいと思います。

The staff were so kind and accommodating, and very attentive to all our questions and special requests, even helping with luggage delivery to our next hotel. We loved the traditional Japanese-style accommodations and onsen! The location is perfect for easy public transportation access and walkable to old Kyoto and the Gion district.

A humble Kyoto experience! Many local traditions were highlighted during our stay, from the traditional breakfast, futon bedding and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel amenities, including the onsen. The hotel was located very close to the Nishiki market and shopping districts, as well as train and bus stops close to major attractions (eg Fushimi Inari). We recommend staying here for a true cultural experience in the heart of the action in Kyoto!

This is our first time staying at ryokan style hotel and we love this hotel. It is not the best looking interior (lobby and hallways) but the accommodation and experience will make your stay great. They even have a small sento at the basement for the guests. They offer breakfast but we didn’t have it because we usually leave before the breakfast was served. Other things we like is it is very close to public transportation, both bus and trains. Restaurants and convenient stores are just few steps away from the hotel. Few minutes walk to Nishiki Market and Kyoto Pontocho. Gion is a bit far if you walk but there is a bus that passes the hotel going there. The staffs are very friendly and courteous.

If we are going back to Kyoto, we are definitely going to book this hotel again.

Perfect locations with a lot of shopping and dining options around. It’s right next to the river and metro. We can see river from the room so it was a nice bonus. Staff was super polite and friendly. The dinners were excellent and plentiful. There’s a drink place with good appetizer type of food 2 doors diwn that was very good, reasonable and convenient. Domo Arigato!

Traditional stay hotel, room was pretty big for Japan, but think I'm to old for Traditional stay, found beds very hard on the floor & getting up & down from the dinning table was a bit of effort.😊 Breakfast was very interesting, probably not for most kids, but we enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly, hotel was close to food, drinks, shopping & sightseeing, also close to metro. Definitely a once in a life time experience...

일본의 전통 다다미와 가정식을 즐기세요.

일본 정통 호텔을 경험하고 싶어서 4박 5일중에 하루를 묵었습니다.
주변 관광지의 중심에 있어서 접근성 좋습니다.
바로 옆에 강가도 있어서 주변 풍경도 좋고 시장도 가깝습니다.
다만, 호텔에서 기본적으로 제공하는 물조차 없어서 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 맞은편 Lawson에서 생명수 사서 마셨네요.
대중탕이 지하에 있어서 조금 꿉꿉한 냄새가 나지만 탕의 상태는 좋습니다. 특히, 사람이 별로 없어서 좋았습니다. 거의 혼자 탕을 쓰는 느낌...
호텔은 오래된듯 보이지만 정통을 많이 살리려고 노력한 흔적이 보였습니다.
호텔에 도착하면 다다미 위에 중간에 테이블과 의자가 구비되어 있었고, 밖에 나갔다가 저녁때 들어오니 테이블은 한쪽 구석으로 치우고 가운데 이불이 가지런히 정리가 되어 깔려 있었습니다.
아침은 일본 정통 가정식으로 나오는데 설명을 친절하게 잘 해주시고 맛도 좋았습니다.

Awesome food experience

I stayed a night to trip a more traditional Japanese experience, this was very good. The staff were very friendly and very polite. I had the full dinner and breakfast which was by far the best part of my stay. It was great to dress in traditional style clothes for the meals. The futon bed however wasn’t something I would try again just not enough for sleeping on for a full night.
Overall very much enjoyed my stay here if you stay definitely opt for the full meal options.

We got there the day Typhoon 8 struck Osaka and Kyoto. We were able to escape Osaka and get to Kyoto at 9AM. We reached the Kamogawa-kan knowing that check-in time would have been at 3PM, but considering that they where expecting us, that every single business in town was closed and that it was pouring and the wind was blowing at 40-50km/h, we asked if we could wait in the hotel lobby. They told us they would keep our luggage but that we couldn't wait in the hotel.

After check-in we went to its public bath. We were the first to get there and after we started showering in order to enter the public pool, a Japanese person entered the room with their child. We finished showering and got into the bath, then they started showering; when the kid was done the father told him to wait to get into the bath and kept showering.. for 15 minutes, the whole time we stayed in the bath. The instant we stepped out of the bath the father allowed the child to go in the bath and joined him immediately.

Later we were taking the elevator and on its way to the ground floor it made a stop at a floor where a hotel person held the elevator door open for two guests to come in with us, another parent and their teenage son. The father looked straight into our eyes without moving a muscle for a whole minute, refusing to enter the elevator with us. The hotel person picked up and let the elevator go, apologizing to us for holding the door.

A delight!

This place was lovely. The location is great, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. The beds are just straight up futons, so this should go without saying, but they were very firm — just something to be aware of if you need more comfort while traveling.

The Kamogawa-Kan Inn was the best hotel we stay in during our trip to Japan. The location is very convenient in relation to mass transit, restaurants and the tourist sites. What makes this place stand out is all the extra touches to make this a traditional Japanese style inn. The room had a tatami floor. There is a public onsen downstairs. But the best part was the food. We had breakfast every morning at the on-site restaurant. These were amongst the best meals we had on our trip. Each day different and meals that we were happy to savor and enjoy. If you want to feel like you are in a more traditional environment rather than just another western style hotel - especially in Kyoto - we highly recommend the Kamogawa-Kan Inn.

떠올리면 행복해지는 숙소입니다^^

화장실에서 냄새난다는 후기를 보고 조금 걱정했는데 냄새 전혀 없고, 너무 깨끗합니다.
객실도 깨끗하며, 저녁먹고 온 사이에 직접 이불을 깔아주셔서 좋았습니다.
산조역에서 가까워서 이동이 굉장히 편리했습니다.
저녁식사와 조식도 맛과 양 모두 만족스러웠습니다.
직원분들이 전반적으로 너무 친절해서 감동했습니다.
재방문 의사가 있습니다.

Traditional Ryokan with friendly service

A perfectly fine Ryokan. Great location. Being a westerner it was my attempt to experience traditional Japanese hospitality. The service was extremely friendly. The room was clean. The washing facilities were very small but that may be a tradition? Didn’t sleep very well on the traditional mattress but pretty sure that isn’t specific to this Ryokan.
The breakfast was amazing!
A worthwhile experience but give me a proper bed any day!

老舊的酒店，設施差，衝涼花灑無法固定，床單床墊像是用了几幾十年，早餐最晚8點半只好放棄。連小兒子都，超級不好，下次一定不會選擇。服務員態度冷淡。

central location but noisy

we loved the location, room size and cleanliness, and breakfast. Amenities were a bit outdated but clean. Our biggest complaint was street noise as large groups of young people gathered across the street every night and were partying into the wee hours of the morning.

교토 어디를 가든 최고의 위치!

한글로 된 후기가 없어 예약시 망설였으나 도착하고 하루지나보니 예약한 자신에게 칭찬해주고 싶더군요^^. 밤마다 피곤한 몸을 쉬게해준 대욕장과 교토맛 물씬 느낄수있는 근사한 조식. 교토 동부쪽 자유여행자에게는 최고의 위치였어요~ 어디를 가든 가고자하는곳에 쉽게 갈수 있습니다~

위치가 좋은 료칸.

위치가 좋고 생각보다 넓어 좋았지만 호텔안에 계단이 군데군데있어 짐이많은 숙박객은 불편합니다 방안에 테이블이 조금 낡았지만 깨끗했습니다 조식은 시간에 맞게 매우잘차려져있었고 맛이 훌륭하지는 않았던거 같네요^^하지만 위치만으로도 충분한 료칸입니다

日式佈置的飯店，佈置成家一樣的感覺，很溫馨！

地點很方便，很易找到，每一個職員也很熱心地介紹附近的旅遊景點和乘搭的交通工具，唯一缺點是和式紙窗很透光，很早已被陽光弄醒了

In the heart of Kyoto, easy access to everywhere

This is a nice Ryokan near the center of Kyoto, the river nearby is beautiful and their is an amazing ally full of restaurants less than 4 minutes walk away. Using buses and trains/subways you can get to nearly any part of Kyoto in less than 30 minutes

nice location with comfortable room

easy to find, nice location near prime shopping area, very comfortable room, we (family of 2 parents & 4 children) have a very very precious moment here. Especially very kind antie staff. Next time, if we plan to go to Kyoto, we will stay here again for sure.

日式酒店，很舒适

是一件很传统的日式酒店，酒店的地理位置比较好，旁边就是压疮，游客很多，酒店的房间比较大，当时也比较空旷，服务的是一个老妈妈。洗手间的条件略显得差了一点。出门的时候把钥匙放在前台我来的时候床就已经，铺好了，早上的早餐准备得还是挺不错的，吃完早餐回来床铺也收起来了，整体还是比较满意，但是，如果想住，酒店，会更舒适一些。

交通便利、週邊生活機能佳

很精緻的日式小型旅館，我們訂三人房是睡傳統日式的禢禢米，空間大到可以住上七、八人也沒問題，很寬敞舒適乾淨。睡衣、拖鞋、盥洗用品、毛巾一應俱全。還附有一套完整的茶具。
旅館的早餐是日式懷石料理(在2樓用餐)，色香味俱全，分量剛好且非常精緻美味，大力推薦一定要去吃的。
旅館位置離京阪電車較近，出了旅館門口左轉直走過大橋，步行約3分鐘可達。若從阪急電鐵河源町站出來，要步行約15分鐘。

Japanese style hotel

Great experience at a ryokan (Japanese style hotel).
The hotel was conveniently located near the river, with a wide range of restaurants near by.
The traditional Japanese breakfast was a plus.
The room was very spacious with a view of the river. Very clean and comfortable.

De hadde ikke rom

Først kom vi tidlig og de tok vare på bagasje til kl.15.00 da vi kunne sjekke inn. Da vi kom og skulle sjekke inn sa de at de ikke hadde rom på hotellet og ga oss tilbud om å flytte til et annet hotell. Vi hadde ikke noe annet alternativ. Totalt uprofesjonelt og hotellet bør fjernes fra Hotels.com.

Great location, great service, beautiful rooms

Excellent location for places to eat & catching the subway. Comfortable, traditional rooms, private bathrooms are a nice-to-have. Service friendly and efficient, apart from not being able to break a 10,000 Yen note for me in reception to pay our cab driver - that seemed silly.
