リピートしたくなるホテルでした

チェックイン時から笑顔で受け入れてくださり、滞在中はとても気持ちよく過ごすことができました。

また、清潔感も申し分なく、朝食も軽食付きで概ね問題なかったのですが、テレビ、YOUTUBEが30分毎に繋がらなくなったのが少し気になりました。

あと上の階に泊まられていた方が、夜中に歩き回る音が少し気になりましたが、こちらは宿泊者の方によると思うので、採点基準には含んでおりません。
※ホテルの注意書きに深夜帯はお静かにと記載はありました。

対応が素晴らしく、最初から最後まで気持ちよくホテルに滞在できました。お部屋もとても綺麗で過ごしやすかったです。朝食用として、バナナや小さなお菓子など無料で提供してくれている点も助かりました。クリスマスの時期に行ったこともあり、チェックアウト時にクリスマスプレゼントをくれたのも嬉しかったです。
また、立地やアクセスも良かったです。駅からも近く、ホテル周辺にもコンビニが数軒とスーパーもあり自由が効いてとても良かったです。

インテリアが可愛い！

海外っぽいホテルでインテリアがすごく可愛く、お部屋も思っていた以上に広くて、NETFLIXが無料で見れるので映画3本も見ました！ホテルのスタッフさんがお優しくて、アットホームな感じでした。

Our stay here was quite uncomfortable. The building doesn’t feel like it has proper hotel infrastructure. We were asked not to walk heavily to avoid disturbing neighbors, but even the slightest movement caused noise — something we’ve never experienced in a hotel before.

Some services were overpriced without offering anything special in return. The elevator broke on our last night and repairs were noisy throughout the night, which made it hard to sleep.

Guests are also expected to resolve how to take out their own trash, which is unusual. In other hotels, staff at least provides clear instructions and handles disposal.

The toiletries were among the worst we had during our trip.

We’re not trying to leave a negative review just for the sake of it, but these are things that should be considered. Comfort should come before just offering a big bed.

We gave stars mainly for the location, the friendly staff, and the spacious rooms.

A wonderful stay at this modern property with lovely, friendly owners. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every one. The surrounding area is a peaceful neighborhood with all the amenities including a large supermarket. Transit is simple with train, subway and bus lines all a short walk away. We strolled to Ueno park and the area around there most days - wonderful museums, restaurants and shops there. The room was well-appointed with a good size bathroom. We enjoyed the simple breakfast every day, using the frig to store yogurt etc. We found it a perfect place to enjoy Tokyo without being in huge crowds. Highly recommend!

Das Personal war super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Bahn lag in unmittelbarer Nähe, ebenso die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ruhiger Stadtteil. Haben wir sehr genossen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Unterkunft.

Nice small hotel

Nice small (16 rooms) hotel. Friendly. Tidy. Location was really good; off the beaten track. Train station just 6min walk. We had an 84year old in our party and she managed wheel the case from the station!

Had most things available in the room or in the small checkin area. Shoes off from entering and flip flops provided for the hotel. No problem.

Couldn't forward on the luggage directly. Forms available and the need to go to local Lawson etc. But would take longer than we thought so didn't do that for our next leg to Kyoto.

Be careful. Early morning trains are very very busy. Taking cases is an experience to Tokyo station for the Shikanshen. We managed thou, just had to skip a few trains.

Super hôtel dans un quartier calme

L'hôtel est propre et très bien placé a seulement quelques minutes à pied des métro. Le quartier est très jolie et calme tout en étant proche de certains lieux touristiques. La chambre est confortable et dispose de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Le personnel est aussi très gentil et arrangeant !

Staying at The Barn was a lovely experience. It was our first stop in Japan and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They really value cleanliness--I personally appreciated wearing slippers in the building rather than my shoes. The breakfast is a nice touch, plus coffee and tea in-room and in the lounge. We don't have enough nice things to say about this hotel and would definitely stay again.

I had a really great time at this hotel. Firstly, the staff is so polite, friendly and respectful. The room itself is so comfortable and spacious. Despite being a boutique hotel, the room was just as big, if not bigger than some big hotels in Tokyo. I also really liked their bathrobes, super comfy. One thing to note for foreign visitors is that you’re requested to take off your shoes at the entrance and store in a locker near the entrance. But they provide slippers to use which are quite comfortable. It was raining at the time and they provided umbrellas for use. The hotel also accommodated my request for a late check with minimal charge.
It is located in a small neighborhood but very close to major train stations and tourist attractions in Ueno. I would visit again and recommend it to my friends as well.

This hotel is a little gem, and was the best base for our trip to Tokyo! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the room was really lovely and homely. The bed was also really comfortable, and the staff leave pastries and bananas out for breakfast, which is great! Would definitely return!

The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel is small and was very quiet. It is in a pretty residential area with good restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable and had a window with a screen for fresh air at night.

Train station very close. Quick dining areas. Don Quijote close by. All walkable. ( 5 to 10 minute walk)
Hotel was very quiet and very nice. Staff was really excellent Especially Nic.
This is a boutique hotel Recommended for couples more than with big family.
Would stay here again love the location.

Leider war mir der Duft überall viel zu penetrant und das Zimmer sehr dunkel und stickig. Das Bad war ebenfalls ohne Tageslicht und hatte kein Fenster.

This hotel was amazing! Right by the train station. There were a lot of convenient stores such as Lawson and 7/11 that were close by. The staff was so kind and helpful. The room was perfect and clean. The bed is quite firm but comfortable. We appreciated the morning breakfast. My husband and I will definitely come back!

優點: 服務值得200分半夜有問題服務人員馬上來服務、公共空間與房間很整潔、地點離車站不會很遠且附近有唐吉訶德與超多賣吃的、廁所浴室分離、床下可收納行李、住宿時還有免費飲料跟酒類可喝、還有自助洗衣機跟熨斗、飲水機很近、吸菸區很漂亮

缺點:隔音很差會聽到上面的腳步聲很可怕如果睡覺時樓上還沒睡會難以入睡、早餐雖免費但只有麵包糕點

A nice boutique hotel

The staff were really helpful in helping us with our luggage and transfers. Hotel provided light morning refreshments, which was a really nice gesture. It’d imagine it’ll be a pain to those who change shoes every day, because they’ve a small locker for shoes, and you’ve to be in hotel slippers from the time you step into the hotel. It’s not too far from the stations and it’s a nice quiet neighborhood :)

Really enjoyed our stay at The Barn Tokyo. Very close to a metro station and some great food options around. We had the best Ramen of our whole trip at Ramen Nagayama nearby.
Staff and service were outstanding.

The Barn Tokyo was one out of five hotels we stayed at during our 3 weeks trip in Japan, and we loved staying here the most! Upon arriving, EF greeted us at the door and helped us with our luggage/bags, and provided us slippers to use during our stay. I appreciate that they took our luggage to our room! EF kindly informed us of the hotel's policies and all the amenities they have to offer. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a TV where we can watch Netflix which was nice to unwind after a long day of travel. It was also a mere three minutes walk from the nearest train station! I enjoy the location of the hotel since it was nearby many restaurants and a huge supermarket! I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely a five star hotel with amazing customer service!!

The Barn had the nicest most friendly staff. They also have very quiet rooms and nice linens. I left my luggage there 3 days before check-in. They not only kept great care of my suitcase, it was waiting in my room when I checked in. Excellent value.

Very friendly customer service and accessible water. Didn’t love the smell of the room, and there is basically zero privacy between the toilet and the bedroom. Walls are thin. Nice neighborhood as in quiet and residential with good food — but very far from every part of Tokyo we wanted to spend time in.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff was so kind and helpful. Room was very comfortable, the amenities were excellent and the location was convenient. You can easily access the Yamanote line from the hotel as a gateway to the rest of Tokyo and the hotel is situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood across the street from many good restaurants and convenience stores. I highly recommend The Barn to anyone visiting Tokyo.

체크인 하러 갔을 때부터 스태프분들이 너무 친절하시고 영어도 잘 하셨어요! 침대는 성인 여자 두 명이 자기에 딱 맞았고 콘센트도 꽤 많아서 만족했습니다. 좁지만 엘레베이터도 있었고 호텔이 전체적으로 조용해서 좋았습니다. 일반 주택가 사이에 위치해 있었고 주변에 돈키호테와 편의점, 맛집도 있었습니다. 다음에 도쿄 놀러오면 또 여기로 예약하고 싶을 만큼 만족도가 높았어요!

I just had the most amazing two weeks at The Barn hotel in Tokyo! The staff were so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. They were always ready to assist with any requests, from recommending restaurants to helping me navigate the city. The location was perfect – close to everything I wanted to see and do, yet still quiet and peaceful. Being on the Yamanote line made it easy to get around and explore all the city has to offer. There were also plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and even a small Don Quijote nearby for last-minute shopping.

The hotel itself was super clean and comfortable, with a lovely little garden to relax in. The room was always spotless and regularly tended to. The only thing I missed was a full-length mirror, but that's a minor detail. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better stay and I can't wait to come back!

But again, I really want to insist on the fact that staff was really the highlight of the hotel, I may have seemed like a cold guest but this amazing service did not go unnoticed.

Great hotel

Great location, hotel is new and spotless clean. The room is very comfortable although the bed is a bit small for a couple. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. I would absolutely book it again :-)

Die Unterkunft ist in einer ruhigen Gegend, aber super an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz angebunden. Das Hotel ist kleiner und liebevoll geführt, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir würden es definitiv wieder buchen!!!

Great little hotel. Clean, rooms size is decent with a spacious toilet and shower room. Breakfast is minimal and consistent of coffee, muffins sweet buns and bananas which worked well for me but if you want a cooked breakfast you there are cafes around and heaps of restaurants to chose from. Very close to the train station which made travel a breeze.
Definitely recommend.

The best accommodation in Tokyo !

As soon as I saw him for the first time, he guided me very kindly.
The explanation is good in English, and the location of the accommodation is near JR line, so it is a good place to go anywhere in Tokyo.
They are always in counter or in accommodation, we can help them easily.
In the morning, the prepare for coffee, bread, etc…
Anyway thank you for your kindness and good service for us.
If i go to Tokyo, i want to visit The Barn Tokyo 😇👍
