錦市場から路地に少し入ったところにあり、観光にはかなり利便性高い立地でした。
ドアはパネルダイヤル式、22時以降はフロントが居ないとされてましたが、待機はされてる様子。
部屋の設備はトイレバスがセパレートだが、トイレは臭いが上がって来てるのか、換気扇をしても少し臭いがこもる感じがしてました。
またミニキッチンも設備。
しかし排水はあまり良くない感じ。
勢いよく水は出るものの排水が悪く、流れ切るのに時間がかかりました。
電子レンジがあるのは助かりました。
前日に買ったパンをあたためて美味しくいただきました。
お皿などの食器も少しありました。
洗濯機もあり、乾燥は浴室乾燥を、とのことです。

スタッフさんもとても親切で、帰りも荷物を預かっていただき、大変助かりました。
また来る機会があれば利用したい宿です。

新しいホテル

オープンしたばかりとは知らずに宿泊しました。建物は新しく内装も綺麗で清潔でした。ホテルに泊まると必ず出るアレルギー症状も、ほとんど出ませんでした。
洗濯機やミニキッチンがあるので、長期滞在の方には特におススメです。
部屋の面積は広い割にテーブルが小さく、バスルームもとても狭いです。洗面台が小さいのに蛇口のノズルが長すぎて、手を洗うだけで水が外に跳ねるのが若干気になりました。

外出時のキーロック方法を教えてもらえず、オートロックと思い込んでいたので、もしかしたらしばらく無施錠状態だったかもしれません。宿泊時の説明がもう少し欲しいです。
親切で丁寧ではありますが、きめ細やかなサービス等はないので、逆にあまり干渉されたくない方にはとても良いと思います。

This little hotel was a wonderful choice. The room was adequately sized and contained everything we needed, including a washing machine in the room. The location was excellent and was within walking distance to Gion, the market, major shopping and restaurants of all sizes. Catching taxis, trains, subway and buses was again so easy. The staff was amazingly helpful. We had left an item on a train, and they helped us surrmount the language barrier and get our item returned. I would higly recommend this property.

We have been traveling for 12 weeks and this hotel was the most welcoming. The owners went out of their way to help us make our travel plans. They were so polite and helpful and really made us feel welcome.

The location was phenomenal, room was very clean and the staff were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to help us any way possible! They helped book our bus back to Osaka and even walked us out to the Main Street to grab a taxi for us. We can’t thank hotel GOCO enough for their hospitality!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The laundry and drying situation was what was the most impressive on our two month holiday. From a personal washing machine to a personal drying mechanism in the bathroom, it was a nice saver! Especially recommend for location as it was extremely close to the most bit rated sushi and knife stores in the country.

Hotel in kyoto

Small hotel with very nice staff that helped us originize our trip in kyoto. The location is very good. The room is great and comes with a private washing machine and drier function in the bathroom! We used it a lot. The only downsize is that the room window's view is a wall, but we definitely recommend you to stay here.

Great place to stay in Kyoto

Great location and a really nice room with my own balcony. Unfortunately, due to the heat, I could only use it in the morning before it got too hot.

Washing machine, the shower room doubles as a drying room, fridge, microwave and the possbility to cook your own food if wanted/needed.

They also have a small deck on the roof where you can sit and relax (once again, weather a bit too hot), and complementary coffee and chilled water in the reception area.

Just a minute away from Nishiki market and a few minutes to the bus stops on the main street.

Staff is really friendly and helpful, and you can borrow sleepware just by asking. The hotel also seems very careful of the environment.

We love the GOCO and Mayumi and staff are so helpful and kind. Every time we travel to Kyoto, we must stay at the GOCO. We especially enjoy having a washing machine in the room. BEST PLACE!!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very well situated by Nikishi market and close to many shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful, explained everything clearly, and really made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

位於錦市場旁邊，但是酒店房間安靜，酒店床也很舒適。前台職員服務不錯，只是住了一晚，所以不知道清潔服務如何。酒店位置要到附近景點大概需要6，7分鐘或者乘搭公車，下次去京都的時候，可能都會考慮這間酒店。

Pas grand chose de négatif à dire, accueil parfait, possibilité de laver et sécher son linge sur une courte période, très pratique en milieu de séjour. La situation est excellente, l'hotel est au calme, il y a énormément de commerces et restaurants autour. C'est un choix premium.

An awesome place for travelers. Definitely recommend for anyone who visit Kyoto. My only complaint was weird foul smell in the unit (probably from previous guest lol). will use this place again.

Hotel GOCO Stay in Kyoto was perfect for our needs. The staff was very attentive and helpful from check-in to recommending places to see cherry blossoms in the late starting season. The room was perfectly appointed with a mini kitchenette and washing machine. The shower turns into a dryer which is perfect for those that want to pack light and travel with less stress. The gentleman at the front desk helped to coordinate luggage shipping for overnight bags for sameday travel to our next hotel in Osaka, as well as forwarding our bigger suitcases to Tokyo. The hotel is perfectly situated one block from Nishiki market, and around the corner from Kawaramachi street market and multiple bus and train stations to get you anywhere in the city.

All of the beds in Japan run on the firmer side, but this bed was one of the more comfortable ones we had on our two week adventure.

Very good facilities and location. Close to Nishiki market and to bus stops and train station. Our room even had laundry facilities aside from the refrigerator and microwave. Would definitely book here again! Staff very friendly and listens to your needs.

I asked and was made aware that it is a Family owned hotel. The owners (husband and wife) were hands on. They were very helpful and pleasant. The area was very convenient to restaurants and shops but most especially just steps away from Nishiki Market. Walking distance to Gion.

We highly recommend.

We had an excellent experience at Hotel GOCO. It's a very well managed, clean and comfortable hotel. The staff are fantastic, courteous and very helpful. They helped us with restaurant reservations (you need one for popular restaurants) and booking taxis.
The hotel is in central location, close to many shopping centers, and metro stations, it's close to walk to many tourist attractions.
Highly recommended.
