大阪観光するには良い場所にあります。ホテルはリノベーションされていますが所々古さを感じます。スタッフはとても親切で丁寧に対応してくれます。撮影スポットのグリコサインまで徒歩1分、アメ村まで徒歩4分と賑やかなエリアです。アイロンは部屋には無いですがフロントに言えば持ってきてくれます。クローゼットが小さいので衣装が多い方は工夫が必要です。枕は小さいと感じました。１階にあるカフェのパンケーキは美味しいのでオススメです。コンビニまで徒歩1分で便利でしたのでまた利用させていただきます。

アクセスが良いが、御堂筋に面しているためか、夜中、外の騒音が大きく感じた。洗い場とバスタブのあるお風呂付の部屋がとても良く、朝食も充実していた。

BEST hotel we stayed at our whole trip. Make sure you have their FREE coffee. Its GOOD. Cold facecloths are a nice touch. Rooms are big and comfortable. Staff are very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. Fluent in English too ! If i come back to Osaka, this is my GO TO HOTEL .. hands down. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Stay – Comfortable, Convenient, and Exceptional Service

I had a wonderful stay at Cross Hotel Osaka. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to help in any way they could. Their hospitality made a real difference and added a personal touch to the experience.

The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and fresh options to start each day off right. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. After a full day of sightseeing, it felt like a peaceful retreat where I could truly relax.

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the action with easy access to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, yet still quiet and calm inside the hotel. It’s the perfect balance between energy and relaxation.

I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Cross Hotel Osaka to anyone visiting the city.

Great hotel right next to Dontonburi and easy access to the station. Rooms were very nice and spacious but the street noise was very bad, even on the 13th floor. We would stay here again despite the noise.

The property had a great location just a block from Dotonburi in one direction and high-end shopping in the other. The hotel in general was nice with decent amenities and the staff were great.

Cross hotels are an excellent chain in Japan after staying with their sister property in Kyoto I chose to stay in the Osaka one. It's an awesome choice since it's right around the corner from the main Dontonburi street and Dondondonki right across as well. A short walk away from Namba Station for getting around Osaka as well without issues. Only downside was the rooms were smaller and a bit hard to open to large luggages at one time - not a big issue, since this is normal for Japan. Check-in/Check-out is an easy process with their kiosk systems and their staff is extremely helpful and nice - would stay again.

the lounge with free booze and snacks and a killer view is enough to get me to go back. definitely include the breakfast buffet in your reservation because it was phenomenal- everything you could ever want and then some. the bathroom is wonderful- all the amenities you could want plus a soaking tub that could fit an army and the high-end model of the TOTO toilet that includes the dryer feature.

The location is superb. A giant flying cockroach was found in the room during the third day of our stay. The staff instantly changed another room for us. And kept saying that they are sorry about my encounter. Will pick this hotel next time.

Really loved my stay at the cross hotel. It’s well located in possibly the most touristy area of Osaka, which means you’re surrounded by great shopping , restaurants , and other things to do. Yet the room is well sound proofed. It’s a small room but that’s expected of the hotel rooms in japan. A very good sized bathroom! With some amazing amenities (even a hair straightener!!) (Also am always impressed with Japanese toilets but here it was even more functional with a dryer etc lol)
Also location is terrific to travel as it’s in between different subway lines and a walking distance to the outstation Namba railway station.
The staff are all very pleasant natured. Try their best to speak English and the front desk girls spoke very good English ! So I would suggest anyone going there to also learn a few words of Japanese as appreciation.
Also breakfast is aplenty. Great options. Fresh milk shake !
The only thing that could be negative for the hotel to improve on is that they say their breakfast is till 10:30. You can only enter by 10:00 am. That’s fair. So if you’re allowing someone to enter for breakfast by 10:00 am you expect the person to eat some breakfast. But sadly on my first morning when I went at 10:00 am, I found them already cleaning up the buffet. People were just filling up plates with fruits and whatever left. And that’s it. By 10:10am everything was cleaned up by the staff. I left having eaten only a banana and coffee.

Our family stayed at the Cross Hotel Osaka during our trip to Japan last week. Here are our pros and cons:

Pros: Excellent location. So much shopping, dining, and easy access to two subway stations. The location cannot be beat really, and this is imho the best thing about this property.

Cons: The hotel itself is clean, but definitely a bit dated. The lobby is rather underwhelming, the beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were also subpar. We stayed at various other properties in Tokyo and Kyoto during our trip to Japan and we felt the rooms and beds at Cross Hotel Osaka were the worst in our opinion. It is also on a very busy street so you hear a lot of noise at night: sirens, locals revving their motorcycles late at night, etc.

We booked the property based on the very high overall score on Expedia (I believe it was a 9.6?) but I would give it a 7.5 based on these pros and cons. Again, location is excellent, just wish beds were more comfy and decor/lobby area were better.

Good location. Though need to walk for about 8-10 minutes from the subway station, it is very close to the popular shopping area (Shinsaibashi and dotonbori). The hotel offers very convenient luggage storage service. One thing to be aware of is that it is by a heavy traffic street, so if your room is facing the street, it could be quite noisy.

This property was great! Cleanliness, helpful staff, personal amenities, location!, luggage storage, self check out, lounge and close to Dotonbori yet not in Dotonbori. The only thing was the traffic at night between 9p- 12a is extremely loud so if you are looking for a peaceful night's rest, this may not be for you. We were okay with this trade off and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location right in heart of Dotonbori shopping district, close to many train stations, our view of Glico sign was exactly as seen on website. Room was very small by western standards, only a Queen-sized bed with barely enough room to squeeze between wall & bed on one side, only a narrow hanging closet for clothes, no shelves or drawers & no space to leave cases open to access clothes - made a 5nt stay a bit frustrating. Our room unexpectedly came with access to lounge area with unlimited drinks (beer, wine, sake & soft drinks) & snacks (cold meats, cheese, hor d'oeuvres, nuts & Japanese cakes) from 3pm-10pm every day. Breakfast buffet was ok but limited western food - runniest scrambled eggs ever, pre-cooked fried eggs stacked up, rubber sausages & small squares of bacon. You can order an omelette but it doesn’t have anything in it - no cheese even, just scrambled egg cooked in a firm blob.
Staff were lovely, would stay here again despite breakfast shortcomings & small room

This hotel is in a primo location. The staff is professional and welcoming, and the rooms are comfortable. But my room was also dated and a bit drab. A nice redesign would make this hotel one of the nicest near Namba and Shinsaibashi.

Great location. Average hotel - with rooms that are clean but smell a bit stale, nice room amenities (kettle, teas, water, cups, etc.) but not superior (the bath salts smelled like air freshener!) The breakfast buffet is mediocre. Ok but nothing more.
