バスルームが大変良かった。スタッフも親切で感じも良い（チェックイン時の女性スタッフは、業務的対応過ぎて、ロボットみたいな印象。）
朝食は楽しみにしていたが、いまいち。ミネストローネスープは大変美味でした。

毎年5月に友人4人でお世話になるクロスホテル京都。部屋も従業員の方もとても素敵。朝食のビュッフェの種類も豊富で味もとても満足です！1年に一度の楽しみです！
ただインバウンドのせいで宿泊代金の値上げがとても残念ですが…

ホテルの方ににご相談して、勉強ができる大きめのテーブルのあるお部屋を勧めて頂きました。
ライトのお手配や、ベッドの配置なども調整していただき、自宅のように快適で子供も落ち着いて過ごすことが出来ました。

毎年５月に宿泊しています。チェックインが15:00からと言う事だったのでホテル入り口あたりのベンチで待っていたら後から来た人たちがさっさと機械でチェックインしていてビックリ！
座って待っている時にチェックインですか？の声かけも無く、チェックインもチェックアウトもすべて機械で従業員さんと話さなくて良く簡単にはなっているが、温かみを感じなくなって残念な気持ちでした。

It’s our first time in Kyoto and we made a good decision staying here Cross Kyoto Hotel. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff here are great & friendly. The buffet breakfast is superb with great selection of foods. Beautiful design with lots of seating. Recommend buying the breakfast during your stay
here for 3300 yens for person daily.

Excellent stay in Kyoto!

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spotless, beds very comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful. We arrived early, they held our luggage for us while explored the area. Perfect location! Walking distance to many local attractions, Ponto-cho alley, Gion district. Tons of restaurants. Breakfast buffet was amazing! I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again on my next trip to Japan.

Property was extremely tidy and situated in a quiet offshoot between main shopping street and Pontocho alley. Great access to bus and train plus Gion District.

Room was extremely spacious, good amenities and friendly staff.

Location, location, location! Near train stations and walkable to lots of tourist attractions.
Very clean facilities and friendly staffs! Helped us arranging taxi to train stations.
Will come back to this hotel if visiting Kyoto again.
And of course recommended to families with kids! By the way, the breakfast selection was phenomenal!

The location is a major plus. We loved how many restaurants, shops, and attractions were within walking distance. We found it super convenient to explore the area without needing to use public transport or a taxi. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave us some great recommendations for places to eat, which we really appreciated.
However, a few things detracted from our experience. We had to use a computer kiosk to check in ourselves, which wasn't the welcoming experience we expected. Another issue was the air conditioning unit, which was mounted directly above the bed. The draft was a bit bothersome while we were trying to sleep.
Overall, the great location and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable, but the self-service check-in and the inconvenient placement of the air conditioning unit were minor drawbacks. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who values a great location and friendly service over a traditional check-in process.

The Cross Hotel was a tranquil oasis in the lovely city of Kyoto. Close to the River, it’s associated eateries and equally close to the shops and business of the main city it was the perfect location for us. Walkable to two major train/subway links, it made getting to various sites of interest easy. It was also with a quick wander to Nikishi market-with lots of tasty treats to try.
The hotel itself was well kept and smelt like a spa! The check in and out were easy and seamless with machines to use in a variety of languages. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean and the whole hotel was quiet and calm. The lobby had free coffee and a cafe. The room we stayed in had 3 beds and a wet room. It was well appointed with all amenities needed.

My family of 4 loved our spacious room and included amenities. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The location was nearby a subway/train station. There is no gym but you can walk/jog down the riverwalk which was so close to the hotel. We will definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Location is great, I love the canal view and walking the tiny streets while being close to the shopping streets and large department stores. Surrounded by restaurants and bars. No laundry machines on premises but just around the corner on the second floor of a net cafe is a laundromat (can get crowded, I think your best bet is going during the day instead of late night).

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Everything was exceptionally clean, stylish, and eco-friendly, with a thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

The buffet breakfast was a highlight—plenty of delicious Japanese and Western options to choose from, all fresh and beautifully presented. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee in the lobby until midnight, a nice touch for evening relaxation.

Another great feature was the variety of free amenities provided—razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, body sponge, hairbrush, even cotton swabs—everything you might need, without having to ask.

The location couldn't be more convenient: just steps from shopping areas, great restaurants, scenic walks, and very close to bus, train, and metro stations, making it super easy to get around.

Honestly, I wish there were more hotels like this outside of Japan. We’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and plan to stay with the Cross Hotel chain again on our next visit to Japan!

Great stay, close to train station & shopping

Bed is comfortable and clean. I like the bathroom/shower room and toilet room are separated. Free WiFi works great. Only thing is I wish we could have more tv channels that are in English. There was only one channel (new channel) and it repeats every 30 mins or so.

Bien si vous souhaitez séjourner au centre de Kyoto. Malheureusement je trouve que l'emplacement a peu de charme trop proche des rues très touristiques de Kyoto.
L'hôtel est très propre mais assez grand ce qui retire encore du charme. Beaucoup de chambres, beaucoup de monde et de passage.
Les chambres en revanches sont plutôt grandes par rapport à la moyenne et assez bien aménagées.
Un petit peu bruyant même en étages élevés.

The hotel is in a great location, close to lots of shopping and dining options at all price points. We loved the gyoza restaurant across the street!
The nearby river is a lovely spot to walk along or to take a break.
The room was the largest we had of our two week trip and was very modern and clean.
There were always many staff available and they were helpful and efficient.
Overall this hotel appeared to be well managed and is an attractive hotel in a great location.

Amazing Hotel – Best Stay in Japan!

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip in Japan, and we stayed in quite a few throughout the country. The breakfast was incredible, easily the best of our trip. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere and a fantastic location, within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants.

The staff was outstanding, kind, helpful, and professional. Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with a large, spa-like bathroom that felt luxurious.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Japan. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way.

Perfect Hotel in a Great Location

I travelled with my family to Kyoto and we really enjoyed our stay at the Kyoto Cross Hotel. Staff was very friendly and the room was amazing. Plenty of room for my family of four in the the Family Suite. If we ever come to Kyoto again, we would definitely stay here.

早上出門下午3點多回飯店準備午休，發現都沒打掃。立即通知飯店，都說沒有人手無法打掃，便改爲幫我們倒垃圾換毛巾請他們快點幫我們處理，過不久房務來了，只換了毛巾垃圾，浴室地墊沒給，泡澡浴鹽咖啡茶包也都沒給，實在另人失望。

Absolutely perfect hotel. Staff were very helpful. Location just steps from main shopping area. Conveniently located just yards from train. Nearby Laundromat just around corner. Included buffet breakfast was top notch. Rooms were modern with Japanese style, very clean, like new.
