ホテルの設備や部屋は新しく機能的で使いやすく申し分がない。それに対して外国人スタッフの対応は機械的でミスが多く客目線でないと感じた。クロスホテルのリピーターであるが、京都という日本の伝統を感じる地で日本的サービスを受けることが出来ないのは残念である。

バスルームが大変良かった。スタッフも親切で感じも良い（チェックイン時の女性スタッフは、業務的対応過ぎて、ロボットみたいな印象。）
朝食は楽しみにしていたが、いまいち。ミネストローネスープは大変美味でした。

毎年5月に友人4人でお世話になるクロスホテル京都。部屋も従業員の方もとても素敵。朝食のビュッフェの種類も豊富で味もとても満足です！1年に一度の楽しみです！
ただインバウンドのせいで宿泊代金の値上げがとても残念ですが…

ホテルの方ににご相談して、勉強ができる大きめのテーブルのあるお部屋を勧めて頂きました。
ライトのお手配や、ベッドの配置なども調整していただき、自宅のように快適で子供も落ち着いて過ごすことが出来ました。
今度はゆっくり観光で利用させて頂きたいと思います。

毎年５月に宿泊しています。チェックインが15:00からと言う事だったのでホテル入り口あたりのベンチで待っていたら後から来た人たちがさっさと機械でチェックインしていてビックリ！
座って待っている時にチェックインですか？の声かけも無く、チェックインもチェックアウトもすべて機械で従業員さんと話さなくて良く簡単にはなっているが、温かみを感じなくなって残念な気持ちでした。

This hotel was excellent. We really enjoyed our time here. The staff was extremely efficient, knowledgeable and very friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean. My wife LOVED the room.
We ate our breakfasts and a couple of lunches in the attached restaurant (the Kiharu Brasserie). The food was amazing! So much variety, freshness and delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
I’ve never left a review before but I had to leave one for this property. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone!

The check in process was through a self check in versus a computer, they had someone who was helping but she barely spoke english so the process took longer then necessary if I had to just done it myself. Also for a higher priced hotel not having a reception check in was weird. The wifi in this place is abysmal. We had a really hard to time searching anything and had to be on our portable wifi most of our stay.

The room exceeded expectations in the best way, large, open, and tastefully decorated. The staff were quick and efficient, and the hotel’s location is unbeatable, central to everything you’d want to see in Kyoto. We’ll definitely book this hotel again on our next visit to Kyoto.

We had an incredible stay at the Cross Hotel Kyoto. We had the Deluxe Corner King Room which was very spacious and had a wonderful view across the valley. Location was great, breakfast was delicious (lots of options), and the hotel was great.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Cross Hotel Kyoto. Our room was roomy for two, very clean and very quiet. However, the convenient power sockets located on the bed's headboard got in the way of the pillows when you have your device's charger plugged in.

The hotel location was perfect with Sanjo Meitengai just across the street and plenty of shops and restaurants within steps of the hotel. Amenities were great and the staff were happy to provide anything else that was needed. We enjoyed the breakfast, although my wife wished there were more Japanese options, especially dashi for the rice.

The staff at Cross Hotel Kyoto were exceptional. I would like to mention Haruna, who very graciously handled my requests to simultaneous refund remaining nights for a shortened stay and at the same time, we needed to stay an extra night due to our outbound flight delay.

After this experience, we are very likely to choose the Cross Hotel again the next time we visit Kyoto.すべてに感謝します!

The hotel staff was extremely professional and the hotel itself was lovely. The restaurant next door had a rude gentleman that was managing the door/reservations. Otherwise, I loved the hotel and will definitely book this hotel again when I return!!

Great Location, great hotel. Location is ideal to make as homemade and explore Gion and all of Kyoto. 15-20 minute bus ride from Kyoto station.

Second time in two consecutive years that I’m blessed to travel to Japan.
Last year with husband and this year with mom and aunt.
Rooms have space. Hotel location is amazing, just a few steps and you are on an excellent shopping street.
Very close to Pontocho.
Breakfast is worth paying for. If you pay the night before, you have great discount for breakfast as to paying on same day.
If I return, definitely will be again to this hotel

Luxury hotel without the fuss (or price tag) but with touches of Japan charm! From the moment we checked in to checked out, it was a perfect stay! The staff were all so nice and helpful, the property was clean and quiet, and in a great location. Our room was absolutely fantastic - clean, spacious, quiet, super comfy beds, great bathroom. Loved the layout! The location made it easy to walk to the Nishi Market for shopping & eating, plus easy access to multiple train stations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay. You can't beat the location. It off a quiet side street but you are so close to shopping, trains, and so much food. The staff is so friendly and rooms are wonderful. We can wait to come back and stay. Love the city and the hotel.

The room was spacious and clean upon arrival. The staff was very kind. Only downside is that there was not a laundry machine onsite, but that should not take away anyones decision as there is a uniqlo near by to buy new clothes.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel and cannot wait to comeback again.

Spent 5 nights and found location was near huge shopping with plenty of food options. Staff was great in helping line up taxi as we had lots of luggage and were going to hotel near Osaka airport. Bus to Kyoto station was around corner. Clean room.

The location of this hotel is perfect. The room sizes, particularly the corner rooms, we are so spacious. We loved staying here and would definitely return. Only a very small suggestion: that there will be more towel, hooks and places to store clothing in the closet. But that is just a very small quibble. The staff lobby, the concierge were all so wonderful. We loved this hotel.

I would have given the 5 stars if the TV programming had been a little better. The only channel available in English was the BBC. The rest only Japanese !! The streaming services needed a subscription so for us was no option.
I guess many guests in your hotel don't speak japanese.

We stayed here for four nights while in Kyoto. The location was great. Ideal for doing local shopping or jumping on the subway. It was also right in an area with a bunch of nightlife, which was cool to see, and didn’t have any negative impact on the area (Japan in general is very safe). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cross Hotel is a relatively new hotel and they keep it up well. The staff was very helpful every time we consulted them. They have a wonderful lobby to relax in and read. The breakfast buffet was included in the price, something that wasn't clear in the information I read, and it was excellent with both Western and Japanese options. Most important, the hotel is next to many of the most interesting parts of the city. In one direction it's half a block to Pontocho Alley; in the other, it's half a block to the main shopping street in Kyoto. It's a 12 minute walk to the best street to see traditional Japanese artisans at work (woodblock printing, lacquer, metal smithing, etc.). It's a 15 minute walk to the antique stores of Gion and major temples and shrines such as Kenninji Temple and Yasaka Shrine. A major subway/train station is a 5 minute walk. For these and other reasons, we plan on staying here next time we visit Kyoto.

The hotel location was great; easy walk to so many stores and restaurants and Kamo River. The hotel staff were super. They were polite, friendly, helpful and spoke multiple languages. Sending suitcases to the next hotel was super easy from this hotel. The room was super clean. The bath tub was wonderful and loved the shower as well. I would stay again.
