とても清潔感があって良いホテルでした。アメニティも必要な分だけ自分で取るスタイルなので無駄もなく良いと思います。子どもと宿泊だったので、座敷スタイルのお部屋にすれば良かったなぁと思いましたが、2段ベッドに大興奮で楽しく宿泊することができました。

トイレが2つあり、6人での宿泊にはありがたかったです。

立地や設備は便利だし綺麗で申し分ないです。アパートメントホテルなのでタオル交換も交換忘れがあることも不満に感じませんが……
交換時間帯にわざわざフロントにお願いをしたのに交換されていないことには不満を覚えました。
ただお部屋も広くて使い勝手が素晴らしいので次回も迷わず泊まります。

ベット横の小さな電器が切れてましたが、すぐに対応して下さり、また、その対応が気持ちよく、とても良かったです。

自宅のようにくつろげるホテル

とても清潔、かつシンプルなデザインの内装で、かなり快適でした。キッチン付きがまた最高。小さい子ども二人いましたが、ホテルが良すぎて、早く戻りたいと言ってたほどです。ロビーにキッズスペースがあったのも◎スタッフの方も好印象でした。また泊まりたいです。

どこまで、洗ったりなおしたりするのか、よくわからなかった。調味料も借りれるのなら、キッチンに張っておいて欲しいです。

新しい事もありとても綺麗にされており気持ちの良く滞在出来ました。
部屋には海外での滞在型のように、洗濯乾燥機をはじめ、電子レンジ、ポット、IH、調理道具等のキッチンが備え付けられ夜食等にとても便利でした。
子供達は2段ベットに満足していました。

アメニティは少なめですが最低限の物はありましたので特に困ることありませんでした。

個人的な欲を言いますと大浴場があればいいな、とおもいました。

ですがホテルに備わっているものは全て新しく満足のいく旅行となりました。

最後になりますが、海外からの旅行者がたくさんみえられていましたが、英語でのトークがとびかいスタッフの皆様は絵顔で接客も良かったです。

シンプルサービスでコスパ良し

寝泊まりする以外の設備がないですが、周辺に早朝から深夜まで営業している飲食店、コンビニなどがあり、観光地へのアクセスも良く快適に過ごせました。館内も清潔で、普通のホテルにあるような付帯サービスを望まないのであればコスパはいいと思います。

どこへでも行ける立地。大人数で2日以上の滞在にぜひおすすめ

京都に家族が遊びにくるので、6人みんなで一部屋で泊まれるお部屋を予約しました。私は京都在住なので、このエリアの立地の良さは保証します！
スタッフもみなさんとても感じがよく、日本語を含めた数カ国語話せる方々で、質問などしやすかったです。ありがたうございました＾＾
食器など完備なので、錦市場でたくさん買って、部屋で楽しめました。
大人数で、2日以上の滞在に是非オススメです。

4月29日から5月1日まで宿泊しました

まず立地が良い。買い物、食事は徒歩圏内で行けるし、かと言ってホテルの周りは繁華街ではないので、静かです。また、観光地には、バス、地下鉄それぞれ利用できます。
家族４人で宿泊しましたが、宿泊代がリーズナブルなので、特にファミリー向けにお勧めできます。子供は小学生ですが、添い寝することなく、ゆっくり寝られました。

次京都に行くときには、また利用したいと思います。

清潔で広くて充実した設備と、従来のホテルにあった無駄だと思っていたものが排除されていた理想的なホテル。

乾燥機付きのドラム型洗濯機が備えられていたのは嬉しい。
接客も一生懸命感があり良い。
値段も高くない。
ターゲットは海外のお客さんかもしれないが、日本のホテル経営者や、ビジネスホテル業界も、是非ベンチマークにして欲しいと思う。

とっても綺麗なホテルでお部屋も広くて快適でした。

ワガママを言えば、なるべく身軽で宿泊したいので、アメニティがもう少し充実してほしいのと、パジャマがあると嬉しかったです。

快適なホテル

家族３人1泊の滞在でしたが、新しく居心地が良いホテルだったので、次回は連泊も考えています。リビングもゆったりで寝室との間に引き戸もあり、快適に使えました。フロントスタッフの方々も笑顔が素敵でした。

受付の方が日本人じゃないので多少伝わりにくい部分がありましたが接客態度が非常によく気持ち良く宿泊できました。
タクシーを頼んだ際、見つかりませんでしたと言われました。自分でタクシーを見つける事ができたので良かったですが何件かタクシー会社に連絡して貰えると幸いです。

好立地の清潔感あるホテル

ホテルオープンしたてでしたので、部屋はとても綺麗でした。
部屋にはミニキッチンも付いているので、簡単な調理も可能です。

できたばかりだったので、どこもピカピカで清潔で快適に過ごせました。
必要なものは全て揃っていて、周りには食べるところも多く、スーパー、コンビニも近く、とても過ごしやすかったです。

Les enfants ont adoré la chambre pokemon. Le personnel est attentif à nos besoin. La chambre et la salle de bain sont tres propres.
Nous avons manqué un peu de place pour ranger les valises sachant que la peluche pokemon prend beaucoup de place. Les transports en commun sont à 5 minutes à pied et les supermarché à 10 minutes à pied, ce qui peut etre loin quand il fait très chaud en été.

We loved this hotel! It was clean and quiet and the hotel staff were very helpful. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood in the evening. There were many restaurants close by as well as a pizza place, drug store and a grocery store. Despite having all these retail places, it maintained the vibe of a residential neighborhood. I would stay here again!

This hotel provided our family of four with a a great stay. The family apartment was reasonably priced and very large. The hotel is a 2minute walk from the main train station. There are buses that will take you to all the main sights leaving regularly from the station. There is a large shopping centre at the station and everything you need within walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommend this property for families.

Mimaru Shinmachi Sanjo was perfect for our family stay! The spacious rooms were ideal for families with kids (ours are between 6 and 9), and the setup made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond, helping with every request we had, which made our trip stress-free. Truly a wonderful experience for families visiting Kyoto. They even helped me find something on Amazon to ship to our next hotel as a surprise for our son. Great staff!

It is in a GREAT neighborhood in Kyoto. We experienced the Gion Festival parade from the hotel entrance and it was magical. I would only recommend to change the carpets as it feel old. Also you cannot low the A/C below 25°C and during summer you wish you could...

Good service staff. Just that we have to make the futon bed ourselves and regret not to ask them to change bedsheet on 3rd night as I got to make the futon bed all over again for just one more night. The best was the washing machine. Can wash and dry our clothes effectively without the need to extend the time for drying. Overall a good hotel for stay.

The staff were extremely helpful, storing luggage, arranging luggage transfers and offering use of their phone for a local call. Kids loved the bunk-beds and it was definitely handy having an in-room washer-dryer. The room was comfortable for a family of 4 but we were disappointed at there being no good views as the hotel is only a few stories high, in a quieter street. I had high expectations due to the Mimaru brand having great reviews especially for families, and while it ticked all the boxes there was nothing outstanding other than the great staff. To be picky - the shower was small, dark and minimalist, and the amenities weren’t great. Overall a clean, nice hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Elize from the front desk was very knowledgeable. Nice room with a section of traditional Japanese space with Tatami, Japanese dining table and cushion seats. Space for 4 is descent. The room has washer and dryer. Has refrigerator and kitchen sink. The place is walikng distance to the train station and shopping areas. There are lots of places within the area for dining with excellent food. This place is highly recommended.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Our family loved the size of the apartments and the ability to do laundry in our rooms. The surrounding area was quiet and the nearest subway station was relatively close (with lift accessibility).

Staff were really friendly and even printed off some shinkansen QR tickets for us to make our travels easier.

We also loved the fish projections on the lobby floor. Our 2 year old could've stared at them for hours!

Very friendly staff and accommodating, loved the extra amenities offered, great offerings for same day baggage transfer, baby stroller available for rent, washing machine in the room, pajamas, slippers available at front desk, coffee/teas as well. Very welcoming and considerate with guests. I would definitely stay in Kyoto Mimaru again compared to Osaka Mimaru shinshaibashi East, not even close to Kyoto’s hospitality

Great apartment, close to everything in that area.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom family Apartment. Hotel was central; a few minutes walk to train station, cafes and shopping mall. The room was a great size for Japan and the kids were comfortable and enjoyed the bunk beds. Conveniently set up with washer, drier, fridge and air purifier.

We stayed here for a few nights and spent one night in the Pokémon-themed room — our kids absolutely loved it! The room was really nice, and they even provided complimentary Pokémon-themed bags, which was a fun surprise.

The laundry facilities worked great, although as expected with typical Japanese washer/dryer units, it took about 2–3 hours to wash and dry depending on the load size.

The hotel is in a great location, very walkable to the train station, and overall very family-friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

We had the pokeman room with one bunk bed and 2 twin beds. It is fully equipped with a dining and kitchen area. I enjoyed how spacious it is. By far, the heated toilet is my favourite. Can’t get this in the US.

This property was perfect for my family of four. My kids loved that They got bunk beds. The separate kitchen/dining area was perfect for meals and for my
Kids to do their homework. The property and their small attention to detail was excellent, just one example, my wife and I would wake up early and get our stuff ready for the day. We were able to turn on the lights in the kitchen area because where my kids heads would be in their bunk beds was nestled and protected by a wood column that prevented light from entering their faces and waking them up earlier than they needed to. When they are walking so much extra minutes of sleep are so valuable. Highly recommend this property

Wonderful property! Service was top notch, friendly and extremely communicative. They were able to answer all questions, and even reached out about a left behind item and kept in constant communication about said item. The room was a terrific size for our family of 4. I loved that our apartment had a washer and dryer. And the property is conveniently located close to a train station, a conbini and many, many restaurants. It’s also a 10-15 minute walk to Nijo Castle, and a 15 minute walk to Nishiki Market, and 15 minutes to Sanjo-Kai Shotengai shopping arcade. Fantastic stay!

The property was clean & walkable to Karasuma line. ~15-20 min walking distance to Nishiki market & other shopping areas. There is a Family Mart just around the corner of the hotel, which was convenient. What we loved the most about the hotel was their friendly & professional staff, especially Alice. She welcomed us with friendly smile & gave us lots of information about the area & a booklet with things to do in each city in Japan, and patiently answered all our questions. She was awesome & even went beyond her way to find my lost sunglasses from a nearby shopping mall. Thank you so much, Alice!! We would stay there again if we visit Kyoto in the future.

Cons: the washer & dryer unit took so long to do a small load of laundry (5shirts). 3.5-4hrs from washing to drying cycle.
