客室お風呂がユニットバスですが大浴場があるので問題無し。大浴場も混雑なく快適に使用出来ました。

宿は京都らしい雰囲気があって良かったです。また付近に美味しそうなお店も沢山あり、もう一泊したいなと思いました。

総合すると可もなく不可もなく。

旅館の方はフレンドリーで、立地も錦市場からすぐととてもよかったです。
ただ、畳の上に敷いてあるカーペットには、大きなしみがあったり、敷いていただいた布団には埃や髪の毛が目立ったりと衛生面で残念でした。

和テイストの畳のお部屋で、お布団も清潔でフカフカでした。無料のウェルカムドリンクをTully'sのコーヒー自販機(ドリップ式)からいただきました。フロントの方お二人と話しましたが、どちらの方も丁寧な対応をしてくださいました。とても好印象でした。

清潔なお宿

修学旅行生も利用する宿のようですが、寝具も部屋もきれいでした。ロケーションも素晴らしく、朝ご飯を旅館で食べなくても、近くにはイノダコーヒー本店、Paulのパン屋、伊右衛門カフェなどあり、近くを朝ご飯のため散策するのも楽しいです。
お風呂は部屋にもあり、清潔です。大浴場はありますが、お湯が固い感じがしました。

無料駐車場台数制限に注意！場所は便利でスタッフは親切です

Hotels.comからの予約では、車の無料駐車場に限りがあることが明記されておらず、そのため、無料駐車場が完備だと思っていたところ、チェックイン時に連絡がなかったから無料駐車場の用意はないと言われ、結局1800円の提携駐車場に停めなければなりませんでした。この際こちらが悪いように言われ、気分を害しました。この駐車場は一度入庫すると出し入れはできず、非常に不便でした。台数に制限があること、連絡の必要があることを当ウェブサイトにも明記お願いします。この件でお詫びの品を頂きましたが、気分の悪さは消えませんでした。
この件以外は、スタッフの皆様は親切でした。滞在中子供が高熱を出してしまったのですが、クリニックを紹介して下さったり、容態を
気遣ってくださり、感謝しています。

We loved the Ryokan Kohro! From the moment we arrived the staff was warm and welcoming, our room very comfortable, and the set Japanese breakfast each morning was delicious…the best part was the cedar bath/onsen which we used each night. We will definitely be back!

Amazing ryokan stay

Amazing ryokan stay in the heart of Kyoto; there’s a public bath you can try which is traditional and fun way to shower / bathe. When you check in they pour you tea and give you traditional sweet; they then go through breakfast times; breakfast in the room is amazing and must try. The set up of the beds was also done seamlessly and everyone was super courteous and polite - thank you for a great stay!

Une expérience à ne pas rater

Une expérience à ne pas rater! Dormir dans un Ryokan est un incontournable. Si vous avez la possibilité d'ajouter aussi le diner traditionnel c'est encore mieux. Le personnel est aux petits soins, très gentil et professionnel. Seul bémol est l'insonorisation avec l'éxterieur sinon pour le reste tout à été parfait. Une magnifique expérience

I feel sad giving this property 2 stars because the staff was SO nice and the property is in a good location. The main problem was the unbearable smell coming from the bathroom. It smelled so bad like raw sewerage that we couldn't even sleep even with the toilet cover closed and the bathroom door closed and the door to the sleeping area closed. It was that bad. I told staff about it twice and they just came up and sniffed around and shrugged their shoulders. The sleeping mats were terribly uncomfortable (that was expected) but the pillows were unbearably uncomfortable. They also only don't give you freshly washed blankets they just cover them with a fitted sheet which felt so gross if god forbid you ended up moving around and wake up with your face in the uncovered part (if only wraps around half of it). Cool experience but it just wasn't for me.

Perfectly Authentic Traditional Ryokan Experience

NOTE: This is an authentic ryokan with a full ryokan experience. If you are not looking for the full traditional experience, this might be less of an ideal option for you. If you want that experience, you will be handsomely rewarded. Have your google translate ready, because not all staff speak English, but that's about the only possible negative.
The room was gorgeous, the location is perfect, near Nishiki market and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Get the breakfast option, as it's a cherry on top. We will be returning to Kyoto in the future, and we will most definitely look to book another stay here.

I love the location because you can walk to Teramachi Kyogoku shopping street. I love the clean room and the amenities. The experience was great but I didn't give it a 5 star because I was charged an extra tourist tax fee and I was curious why it was not mentioned online. I paid everything online and I was surprised to get that fee.

Simply awesome. Located in the central Kyoto area, 3-10 minutes walking to subway stations and shopping centers, and many tradition stores , cafes, convenience stores a few blocks away. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Only con is a bit noisy at night and early morning, and futon on tatami is a bit hard for my body.

A wonderful ryokan experience

The staff was so friendly, and the woman who showed us to our room did a great job explaining what makes the ryokan special. We paid for breakfast, and the spread they set up in our room each morning was stunning -- it was so fun to try different foods each morning. We also really enjoyed the public bath in the basement -- very relaxing and clean. The location is also great: very close to a train station, and there's lots of great shopping and eating in walking distance.

가성비가 매우 훌륭한 료칸 시설입니다. 유후인 같은 분위기를 기대하기는 어렵지만, 그래도 깔끔하고 직원들도 매우 친절합니다. 근처에 니시키 시장이 가까이 있어 구경하기도 좋습니다. 다만 아이가 있다면 식사를 할 곳이 주변에 마땅치 않은 것은 좀 아쉽습니다.

We came to experience the Ryokan stay with my two teenager kids. I was not expecting to be top of the notch, this is a traditional bed and breakfast with super nice staff from reception, attendants, cleaners, servicers. They are very respectful and gave their best to treat their customers. Although the amenities were limited, overall, very pleased for the experience and the service from staff, the only less rate is because I am comparing to other higher rate ryokan and hotels.

Lovely onsen boutique hotel!

Perfectly located on a quiet, central street, close to cafes and small restaurants. The room we were given was spacious, with very comfortable futons. The onsen (hot spring baths) was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Le Ryokan etait tout simplement épique et il a su nous plonger dans l'ambiance du japon traditionnel.
À proximité du centre névralgique de Kyoto (5 min à pied du coeur).
Tres serviable, le personnel nous a eccueilli de la meilleure des facons.
Bain chaud pour se détendre à la fin de la journée non négligeable de plus qu'il ferme à minuit (H/F séparés).
Je recommande vivement !!!!!!!

Great location! Staff were very helpful. The public bath was nice. Was a fun experience over all to stay here. The traditional beds are a little uncomfortable, so maybe think twice if you have a bad back.

Ryokan er et must når man besøker Kyoto og dette overnattingstedet er et perfekt valg. Vennlig personale, ypperlig service og en fantastisk middag servert på rommet. I tillegg får man låne Kimono gratis på rommet og Nishiki market er bare 200 meter unna. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Nice property for a traditional ryokan, which are basic by definition. Great public bath and service overall (checking in, setting up sleeping mats, breakfast room service) very good. Housekeeping staff walked right in on my daughter and I getting dressed after breakfast as they were in a rush to clear the breakfast dishes (1 hour before checkout time), which was NOT appreciated.

It was a great traditional experience. The staff were very friendly and the Onsen downstairs was great. The only thing we didn’t like was that there was a smell when we entered our floor (we think because the kitchen was there) and it took a few minutes to get used to.

조식 신청해서 먹었는데 맛있고 정갈했어요 밥을 추가로 주셔서 배불리 먹었습니다

Traditionelles Hotel für zwei Nächte

Das Zimmer war im Verhältnis zu Japan sehr gross. Was die Sauberkeit anbelangt, gibt es gar nichts zu bemängeln! Die Lage ist zentral, jedoch hat man die ÖV nicht gleich um die Ecke. Die Umgebung ist dafür eher ruhig.
Das öffentliche Onsen muss man erleben, als Frau erhält man ein Yukata, ist eine leichte Kimono.
Es hat grundsätzlich alles was man braucht, uns hat es da sehr gefallen.

Really nice traditional ryokan with on site onsen. Private bathroom was quite small and found the futon beds to not be overly comfortable but you pay for the experience and im glad we did it. Worth it even if just for 1 night

니시키 시장 근처로, 기온거리까지 산책 가능한 조용한 주택가의 작은 료칸. 공조 소리가 커서 잠을 설쳤는데 화장실 옆에 스위치가 있다는 것을 몰랐음 ㅠㅠ
특별한 것은 없지만 대형호텔보다 조용한 숙소를 선호하는분들에게 추천할만 함

역에서 조금 걸어야했음. 니시키시장이랑 가까워서 좋았음. 체크인 오후3시라서 쫌 불편. 짐은 미리 올려다주긴하는데 가방이나 귀중품같은건 가지고다녀야하니까. 밑에있는 욕실은 작지만 조용하고 마침 아무도없어서 너무 좋았음. 물온도도 딱좋았음. 근데 욕실오픈시간이 아침엔 2시간이라서 아침에 하기엔 좀 빠듯? 저녁타임 추천. 직원분들도 너무 친절하시고 아침밥세팅해주시는것도 빠르게해주셨음. 밥맛은 적당..? 잠옷 사이즈가 조금 길어서 바닥에 끌리길래 스몰사이즈 있냐고 물어봤더니 없다고한거보면 사이즈 구비는 안해놓는듯. 체크인할때 커피뽑으라고 코인주시는데 맛없음..... 방은 쾌적하고 넓고 예뻤는데 샤워실은 조금 냄새남... 퍼블릭배스에서해서 쓸일은없었지만. 비교적 싼 료칸치고 그럭저럭 잘보냄.

료칸 코로 추천

우선 날짜를 잘못 예약했는데, 숙소 측 배려로 올바른 날짜에 잘 묶게 되었습니다. 들어갔을때 캐쥬얼한 료칸 분위기에, 유카타를 빌려준 세심한 배려까지 좋았습니다. 방 안에는 프라이빗한 나무 욕조가 있었는데, 굉장히 좋았고 대욕탕도 정말 좋았습니다.

Wonderful staff, good experience, great location

Some rooms are nicer than others (with separate sitting area and more room overall), but great Japanese experience regardless. Staff is extremely attentive, escorting guests to rooms, laying out bedding every evening and storing away every morning, providing maps and recommendations, escorting guests outside as they leave the building etc. Very good experience overall, would stay here again.

Traditional Ryokan with good location in Kyoto

We stayed one night in this traditional Ryokan in Kyoto.

Friendly staff and a convenient location however the room could have been a bit more comfortable. In addition the A/C was very loud and hard to control.

Decent place to stay in Kyoto if you want to experience a Ryokan.

Grand ryokan bien placé et agréable

Grand ryokan de 30 chambres sur plusieurs etages, très bon accueil. La chambre que j avais prise était spacieuse avec sa propre salle de bain, et c est vrai que c est plus pratique, même si je suis allé plusieurs fois au onsen qui est très propre et agreable.
Futon un peu dur pour moi.
Le lieu est agréable, et surtout très bien placé, métro pour aller directement à la gare à côté et 2mn de la gallerie commerçante et les nombreux restaurants à Teramachi et Pontocho.

NIce Ryokan but hard to find

Every taxi had a hard time finding the place so bring a map and the address. Nice facility and near to various restaurants and shopping. The bath in the basement was nice. Was a bit of a walk to the subway so just took a taxi everywhere. I'd recommend that approach if your time in Kyoto is limited.

Highly Recommended Ryokan in Kyoto

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My boyfriend and I stayed at quite a few ryokans across Japan on a two week visit and this was by far our favorite. The staff was as friendly and accommodating. The public bath was a perfect way to sooth sore and tired muscles after a long day of sightseeing. This was within walking distance of Nishiki Market and public transportation. It's a few blocks and train stops away from Kyoto station. I highly recommend ordering breakfast at least once while staying here. It's a traditional Japanese style breakfast that they set up in your room.

Pseudo japanese style

Bestätigtes Nichtraucherzimmer bei Ankunft nicht vorhanden; Korrektur dieses Fehlers dauerte über eine Stunde. Zimmeraustattung fragwürdig; Bad sehr klein, keinerlei Elektroanschluss im Bad (Haare fönen und Rasieren im Bad vor dem Spiegel nicht möglich; Spiegelbeleuchtung duster und unpraktisch. Heizung ließ sich nicht steuern und regulieren. Keine gute Haus-Atmosphäre. Preis für die Leistung völlig überzogen.
