駅からは少し離れていて、コンビニやスーパーまでも少し歩きますが、設備もキレイで満足でした。

何年か続けてお正月に利用しています。お部屋は広めで過ごしやすく変わりませんが、食器やアメニティなど年々減ってコスト削減されている感じです。食器が少なくてちょっと困りました。
でもインバウンドで外国人の利用がほとんどであれば仕方ないのかもしれないなとも思い…片付けやお掃除大変そう。隣からすごいぶつかるようなガタガタ音もすごかったです。

2週間の子供との滞在

2週間の予定で滞在。チェックイン時に荷物が多くフロント前に置かせてもらって部屋に入り取りに戻ると、フロントの方が台車で部屋まで持ってきてくれました。とても助かりました！　予約した部屋はJapanese roomで畳があり、子供達を過ごさせやすかったです。　貸し出してくれる美品類が多く、炊飯器、トースター、玩具類をお借りして助かりました。また屋上があり、あまり外出ができない中、子供達と遊べてよかったです。

家族4人で利用させていただきました。
二段ベッドには上の子が大はしゃぎ。下の子【乳児】にはベビーベッドも用意してもらい、とても助かりました！
普通のホテルには無いテーブルやキッチンもあるので、家のように寛げました。

ホームパーティを目当てで利用しました

ホームパーティ目当てでホテルで探しました！他にないコンロ付きだったり食器があったりとても便利でした！だけどコンロの使い方になれるのが大変でした。それに指紋の反応が少し悪かった。後は調味料やオーブンがあったら満点かな！！でもホテルでもホームパーティのようにコンロが使えたりとても嬉しかったです！ホテルの中はとても綺麗で過ごしやすかったです！ありがとうございました！

駅近くでお部屋も広い！

出来たばかりのホテルなのでとても綺麗で快適です。キッチン、冷蔵庫、電子レンジも完備で部屋も広いので家族連れには最適でした。3泊したので洗濯出来るのも有り難かったです(但し3台しかないので夜は混んでました)。上野駅からも近いのでどこへアクセスするにもとても便利です。ただ１点、お部屋の窓が目張りされていて、全く外が見れなかったのが残念でした。外の天気さえ確認できなかったので、雨の時どれだけ降ってるのかさえ確認出来ずで、一旦外に出て確認しました。

玄関を入って直ぐに、テーブルがあり、くつろげました。
普通のホテルと違い、アメニティは、フロント近くの棚から持っていく必要が有りました。
ブラシと室内着は用意されていないので、持っていく事をお勧めします。

Nos gustó mucho y sin duda regresaríamos, está a corta distancia de estaciones de metro pero sobre todo de UENO station a donde llega el Skyliner del Aeropuerto y de donde salen Trenes que van a localidades foraneas cercanas, cerca de muchos puntos de interés en Tokio, la cocineta equipada facilita mucho desayunos y cenas sobre todo si viajas con niños, muy cerca Seven eleven, family mart y muchas opciones de locales de comida en las estaciones de metro. La habitación limpia y con buenos espacios para el estandar de Tokio. Excelente opción para familias. El personal es muy amable y te ayudan con todo lo necesario para el envío de tu equipaje a tu siguente destino en Japón. El uso de las lavadoras y secadoras es una gran alternativa también.

It was a very nice room, loved the bunk beds! I also really enjoyed the shower room, and I definitely recommend this hotel for families on vacation. The only downside was that the toilet room smells terrible- turn on the deodorizer to help! But other than that, I think this is a great hotel and I hope you will enjoy it too!

Pokémon room was so great! The staff are wonderful and helpful. I don’t love Ueno as an area compared to other areas in Tokyo (big freeway, feel like there’s fewer cool restaurants) but it’s very handy for the airport train

The staff was multilingual and very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and maintained very well. I liked the available laundry facility and the accessibility to Ueno station, Ueno Park, and walking distance to Asakusa and Sensoji Temple.

Pretty good. Small room. Friendly staff. They told us about the baggage transfer service they were partnered with, but failed to provide full details, such as needing to have the order completed the day prior… so we planned to used it and then had to pivot last minute when it was clear that it wouldn’t work out.

Loved the size of the room and it was walkable to Ueno park and reasonably close to the train station, in particular the one with the express train back to Narita Airport. Beds were comfortable and it was really nice to have the little sitting area w/table and chairs. Bunk beds were great for the kids too. On quite a busy street and right above a train station so even though we were on the 11th floor with a great view, we could still hear faint sounds of train bells etc. Would stay at Mimaru again but may consider a different location.

Very clean, staffs were super helpful. Sawa went through the trouble to help us research on a capybara cafe. Aki and Harris helped us with a local restaurant reservation. Those special efforts have not gone unnoticed, and are very much appreciated.

Location is on the quiet side of Ueno Station. Unfortunately, the more popular restaurants are all on the other side of the station, but otherwise the quietness and the local vibe are still very much enjoyable.

Property was smaller than expected compared to another Mimaru property we stayed at previously. But it was close to Ueno station. The side the property was on had a little more gloomy feel but just walk over to the other side of the station for a lot more dining options, etc..

Great hotel, especially for Americans :)

The stay was a great introduction to Japan for our American family. The staff was so kind and helpful, and they were able to communicate well with us. The room was spacious. We had 4 beds and they were firm, but comfortable. I didn't think I would like them because I'm so accustomed to my super plush bed, but it slept great! The noise was low and didn't bother us at all. We washed some clothes, which was super easy. The only warning is that you will need to run your clothes multiple times in the dryer most likely. It was not a big deal for us though. Our daughter even played bingo with some fun activities and won a prize that made her super happy. We would 100% stay here again. Thank you so much MIMARU.

From check in to check out my family and I loved it here! The staff was very friendly. Our room was great, clean and well set up for kids. We walked easily to the 7 eleven a block down for snacks. The train station was very close and we also went to Ueno park a few times to let the kids burn energy. I appreciated the staff always welcoming us back from the day, talking to my kids, as well as having a fun bingo game ( with prizes!) which was the highlight of this long trip for my kids. 😁 we loved the bunk beds as well as the small kitchen and dining room. Mimaru East has great advice for local options for dining and activities. Special shout-out to Aki for being just the best to us! We would definitely return to this exact location next time we visit Tokyo.

A great base to explore. So close to a major rail station. Ueno Park is great for kids or to simply relax. Close to museums, art galleries, temples. The property is very well maintained and the staff are courteous and helpful. Highly recommended for longer stays.

Awesome hotel

So happy we found this hotel in Ueno. Lovely staff, very happy to go through our plans and make recommendations of what to see. Lots of food options close by, as well as numerous convenience stores and also a large supermarket about 3 minutes walk away. Proximity to Ueno station was great! Handy for Shinkansen. The rooms were very well thought out, plenty of room for a family. The kitchen facilities were great! Very convenient. Nice touch to provide kitchen paper and cling wrap. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was great for a family. It was a bit farther to the subway than I would have liked since it's at the opposite end of Ueno station. The JR train line is closer.

It tis convenient to get around the city and about 10 minutes walk away is a bustling street with food and shops. It is very quiet around the hotel.

The hotel itself was nice and the staff were very friendly.

They Only clean the room every 4 days. We stayed there 3 nights and 4 days so when I asked for cleaning, they wanted to charge extra for cleaning. Laundry machine takes forever to dry. I did 1 load and that took hours to dry. I did laundry from 9pm-2am. Never again. Also the air condition at the hotel was weak, they have a sign to not go under 23 degrees, the room gets pretty stuffy.

Location - boring.

Stayed in the pokemon room and it was pokemon themed but apart from the initial excitement, there wasn't anything in the vicinity to support the Pokemon theme
The walls were a bit damaged and I doubt the big pokemon teddy is cleaned regularly. Kids enjoyed and the front desk staff were friendly and fun.

Our room faced the railroad crossing, which was noisy, even though we’re on the 8th floor. The room size was decent for a family of 4. The upholstery could use some deep cleaning. The bath faucet was weak-took awhile to fill the tub.

Rooms were well eqiupped, spacios and clean. If you travel with young children, this would be the ideal accommodation.

Lack of restaurants within the vicinity. Approximately 15minute walk to central where restaurants and cafes are located.

ROOM:
It is considered spacious in Tokyo. The aircon/heater is quite loud. Anyway it is functioning, just that a bit annoying. iHaving said that, t has a humidifier, so it is quite good, just that no instruction on how to use it

SERVICE:
Average room service. They only clean the bed and vacuum every 3 days. Something I didn't expect. Having said that, I left my Polo shirt in the room after I check out but the Hotel said they cannot find. I guess it is a Christmas present for the housekeeper. So, you probably need to take care of your belonging and don't take it for granted.
There are several washing machine and dryer at level 1, but you don't have a chance to use it.. it is always occupied until midnight. You probably shouldn't expect you will be able to wsh your clothes during the stay.

LOCATION:
it takes about 30 mins to Shibuya by train. Not a very convenient location. Although there is a nearby Ueno station, it also take about 10 mins walk. There are Lawson and 7-11 nearby though.

CONCLUSION:
it is an average hotel apartment in my opinion. The rate is not very cheap either. I would think this is an overrated hotel and woukd suggest explore somewhere else instead

We really enjoy Mimaru Hotels

This is our second stay in a Mimaru and I highly recommend them for families: large comfortable rooms, friendly English-Speaking staff, laundry, clean, well-appointed. This location was fine, but a little far from things. Still a very pleasant stay. The train is right by it but didn’t bother us one bit.

Great room. Great staff. Location was within walking distance to train stations and several convenience stores. We absolutely loved our stay at Mimaru. The 2 twin and bunk bed room was spacious and perfect for our needs. We loved having the kitchen, kettle, and microwave. We booked 4 separate hotels during our travels through Japan. We have left Mimaru and are at our next stop and a different hotel and we already wish we would’ve booked Mimaru chains the whole time…oh well, next trip we can do that. We highly recommend Mimaru!

Mimaru系嘅酒店係唔會失望嘅，呢呢酒店應該係舊apartment改建，一層得5-6間房，唔會嘈。今次住4人房，房同床都大，有淋浴間，唔似一般東京細酒店間，滿意。唯一不足係離車站步行要10分鐘，離上野中心步行15-20分鐘，有d處距離

너무 깨끗하고 조용하며 아이들과 함께 다녀왔는데 방도 아늑하고 좋았어요~ 화장실이 변기, 욕조, 세면대 모두 따로 있어서 사용하기 너무 편하고 아침에 일어나 주변 동네 둘러보면 너무 좋아요~ 편의점도 가까이 있고 진짜 한 달 살기 하고 싶을 정도였어요~ 강추~~

교통 편하며 깔끔한 호텔

우에노 역에서 걸어서 찾아 가기 쉬웠으며 아침 저녁으로 크게 소란스럽지는 않은 지역이어서 괜찮았습니다.
밤에 엠뷸런스 소리가 자주 들리지만 아마 근처에 대학병원이 있지 않을까~생각해 보았습니다(지도로 확인해 보지는 못했습니다)
가족단위 여행객들이 많이들 체크인 하는 모습을 볼 수 있었습니다.

I stayed with my best friend and my 2 teenagers. This hotel has a bank bed that big enough, kitchen area, bath and toilet was separated. Great amenities selections.
