Excellent location. Very walkable. So many great restaurants and local attractions nearby. Also very quiet and right next to the river so peaceful and full of nature.

I had a great stay. It’s like an apartment but have the amenities like a hotel, except that they don’t clean the room during the stay. But you can drop towels in the laundry basket downstairs and pick fresh ones anytime. There is reception round the clock, which is awesome. View of the river is fantastic. There is a Japanese style room which was a nice experience.

Great view! English and Japanese speakers will have an easy time. The room was very nice and had everything needed for us including a crib! Such a beautiful view of the river and a great location to visit kawamachi-dori or kimizudera .

Love this place. Perfect location.

Loved this place on a quiet street next to the river and a short walk from Gion’s cultural sites. The 1br apartment suited our family of 4 given the enclosed sleeping space near the living room for our 2 kids. The apartment is well designed and comfortable with all you need to cook, do laundry and relax. It was a perfect pick for our visit to Kyoto. The staff are excellent and easy to communicate with.

An apartment hotel with full kitched facilities and laundry. Balcony is nice after a night out and to have coffee on in the morning. About 30 minutes from kyoto station but close to the subway and bus lines.

had an excellent stay here, we were stuck there for an extra day due to the typhoon in tokyo and the hosts were very helpful getting us the extra night stay. hosts are also excellent with local recommendations and their hospitality was unmatched.

Kyoto Riverview House Kyou-raku was one of our favorite places to stay in Japan. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Alex made our experience even better due to his excellent customer service! Great location on a quiet street. Walkable to the train station, restaurants, and shopping. We really liked the layout of the apartment, plenty of room for our family of 4. The washer/dryer was very helpful. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Japan.

We had such a lovely experience staying at Kyoto River View House as a family of four. The superior suite had more than enough room and having a kitchenette and laundry machine was extra helpful. The location of the hotel was very picturesque, and it was such a pleasure walking around to get to many sights. Kyoto station was a bit of a walk (30 minutes) so we ended up taking the local bus or taxi if we needed to get on the JR trains. Hotel is a five minute walk to Keihan train line though so it is possible to use that directly and transfer to JR line a few stops down. Many minimarts close by and dining options!

Hands down the biggest room we had ever stayed in Japan! Stunning panoramic view of the Kamogawa and only a stonethrow from the Kiyomizu Dera area and the Keihan Gojo station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend for couples with kids!

We just love staying at Kyoto Riverview House. The staffs at the front desk were just awesome. They went out of their way to make our stay amazing,ie. book our restaurants, call our taxis, answer all our questions. The location is the best, Gion district is just across the river and the market is just 10 minutes walk. Our room was big with all the amenities - stove, fridge, microwave. The bed was very comfortable which was a big deal for us after a full day of activities. When we come back to Kyoto, we would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, amazing view, great amenities. We were in the top floor suite with a family of four, and it felt larger than an apartment! I would not change a thing. The front desk concierge, Alex, was lovely, helpful, informative. 6 stars out of 5!

Stayed here for 8 nights - convenient location. We loved the design of the room - a combination of western beds and a tatami room with futon. Very spacious with a splendid view of the river and the east hills of Kyoto. Nice sunrises!. Very quiet with private ofuro/shower area, laundry, kitchen nook with microwave, sink, dining area, and fridge. Able to access our Netflix account on the TV.

Spacious and spotless apartment in Kyoto

This place is superb, great location and lovely views across the river. The best thing about it was the amount of space, so nice after staying in a lot of small hotel rooms. The lady on reception was also really nice and helpful. There’s a great restaurant nearby called Sugarhill that’s worth visiting too.

This place is conveniently located to the downtown, the train station (by a short taxi ride), and has a nice view of the river. The beds were comfortable, small kitchen worked for us, and the washer/dryer allowed for simple, daily washing of clothes. Hinako checked us in, explained everything we needed, was engaging and charming, and arranged for a taxi pick up upon departure. We will stay again.

카모강 근처고 걸어서 청수사 갈 수 있는 위치입니다.
바로 앞쪽에 편의점이있어 편했습니다.

이불ㄹ정리가 정말 대츙 뒈어 잇숩니답
췸대이불과 장농(?)에 잇눈 이불모두 대~~~~~충 정리되어이써 보고 어이가 없을정도;
거기서부터 느므 실망휐네요로링...
실내에손 슬리퍼꼭 신고다니쉐여
카펫도아닝데 드르븜...물휴지로다꾸니 머리카락나오고 까매쥠 ㅜㅜ후....
목욕가운 제공되지 않음. 잠옷따로챙겨가야함.
이틀묵었는데 룸청소해주지 않음. 따로 말하면 해주려나 모르겠음. 수건은 카운터에서 새로 받아왔음.
세탁기가 있음.

Fabulous property located a 15 minute walk from Gion and Nishki Market and on the river in Kyoto. Spacious apartment style room with bedroom plus tatami bedroom, sitting area, and kitchenette making it a comfortable stay for our family of 4. Exceptional front staff. Convenient to city transportation and numerous restaurants and amenities just outside your door. Yet the area is quiet and lovely for a stroll. We would definitely stay here again when in Kyoto and will recommend it to everyone we meet.
