清水寺から近く、清水寺が夜間ライトアップされ綺麗でした。近くで朝食が取れるお店の案内が欲しかったです。駐車場について事前に予約が必要です。

新しく、便利

新しく、とてもきれい。
私の部屋は1番広い217で、3人泊まれた。
バルコニーがあったが、隣のビルの壁と、空が少し見えるくらいです。部屋で寝るだけだったので問題なかった。どこもピカピカで気持ちよかったです。
値段がとても安く、バス停から近い。清水寺へは坂を登って10分かからないくらい。ラグジュアリー感はないけれど、清潔感や京都らしさを頑張っていて、好印象でした。
部屋は土足厳禁です。

駐車スペースに移動する際、観光客と車が多かったものの、スタッフの方が迅速に丁寧に誘導して下さいました。
困った事にも対処して頂き、客室内も清潔感も有り、清水寺へは徒歩圏内。
またそちら方面に行く際には、お世話になりたいと思いました。

スタッフの方々が非常にフレンドリーで親切だった。あまり一般にはないことを質問したのですが、いろいろと手を尽くして調べてもらってありがたかった。
部屋も綺麗で、テラスからの眺めもよかった。少し手狭ですが、立地的にはやむを得ないかと。石塀小路なども近いですし、拠点としては良いところだと思います。

スタッフの態度が非情によかったですね。そして、眺めのよいテラス、無料の飲み物等サービスもよい！立地は言うまでもなく最高。朝食がありませんが、近くのレストランから出前で部屋まで届けてくれます。物凄い厚焼き玉子のサンドイッチですよ。

早朝から清水寺に散歩に行きたいと思いこのホテルに滞在させて頂きました。清水寺まで歩いて行くにはちょうど良い立地ですし、管理人さんもとても良い方で大満足です。お茶やコーヒーなど自由に飲むことができ、快適でした。また、京都に滞在することがあれば利用したいです。

ホテルは新しく、とてもきれいでした。フロントの方々の対応も親切で気持ち良く、
徒歩圏内に観光スポットがたくさんあり、ロケーションも申し分ないです。
夜遅い時間に食事ができる店が近くにないのと雨で屋上のテラスに出られなかったのが残念でした。

色々ありますがオススメ出来るホテルです

新しくOPENされたホテルなのでとても綺麗で快適です。お風呂も綺麗し、部屋は土足厳禁なので裸足でも私は特に不安ありませんでした。しかし、清水寺の本当に近くなので色々な外国の方が宿泊されると思いますので本当に皆さんが裸足で過ごしているかは疑問視です。あとは新しいホテルだからだと思いますがまだスタッフ様の対応は不慣れな感じがします。総合的には全然良いホテルだと感じました。

Fabulous property so close to many Temples and Shrines in walkable distances. The lobby was so welcoming and spacious, friendly staff, and a welcome gift, Lots of amenities, comfortable bed, clean and modern with lanterns in the hallways. Loved this place!

This a beautiful hotel located in walking distance to Gion and most of the tourist spots! Also close by to bus stops if you prefer :) The service was excellent, all staff members we interacted with were super lovely! The room we selected was a great size for two of us with four suitcases 😆 check in was easy & smooth and the amenities were great too.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff went above and beyond with hospitality and service. We appreciated the amenities at this hotel, which include a lovely lobby with a beverage machine. It was very well kept and clean, and the location was extremely convenient for exploring Kyoto.

All the staff were very nice and kind. Only 5mins walk to Kiyomizu temple. Easy to catch taxi and close to bus stops.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff and service were 5 stars, with one staff member walking me to the corner to get a taxi in the freezing cold at 5am. The rooms were large by Japanese standards and had everything you need. The ice machine and filtered water in the lobby is really handy with filling drink bottles on the way in and out of the hotel. Walking distance to supermarkets and restaurants.

If you're looking for an affordable hotel that offers easy access to historic Gion (and the rest of Kyoto), Terrace Kiyomizu is a great option. The rooftop terrace and complimentary beverage machine were also much appreciated.

At first glance, it looks like a modest little hotel, and it is. The staff is what makes it all worth staying here. Upon check-in I had an interesting request, to say the least, and the gentleman behind the desk literally walked me from the hotel to where i needed to go. Cute little kitchen area in the lobby for coffee, tea and water. Biggest fridge you’ll get inside a Japanese Hotel, and the room itself is frankly bigger than APA Hotels i usually stay in.

On-site laundry and a rooftop deck provide a sweeping view of Kyoto as well as the temples nearby.

I can’t express how nice the staff are and any time I am visiting Kyoto, this is my new go-to property.

Friendly home base with great view

With a bus stop on multiple lines with frequent service just three minutes walk away and a marvelous view from the rooftop terrace, this hotel would already be a great choice. The comfortable and friendly atmosphere made it extra special and I look forward to staying here again next time.

I ordered a room with two bed and none smoking. When I got there they only have a smoking room for me. I didn’t have a choice but to stay there for one night. I could sleep because of the smoking smell. Finally, they got me a room with one bed only. Didn’t have a choice but took it.

Nettes Personal, schöne Unterkunft. Wir bekamen zur Begrüßung eine Trinkflasche geschenkt. Es gibt kostenlose Getränke (Wasser, Kaffee, Tee). Das Beste an dem Hotel ist die schöne Aussicht von der Dachterrasse. :-)
Es ist etwas schwierig zu erreichen, da man die viel befahrene Straße zum Kyomizu-dera überquerwn muss.

The staff was friendly and the hotel was in great location for seeing local sites. Very walkable and close access to public transportation. The standard room with two twin beds is quite small, with little room to walk around the beds. However, overall a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

2 nights stay in Terrace Kiyomizu Kyoto

The hotel experience was unsatisfactory, with dirty bed covers causing my partner to develop a neck rash. The bathtub was poorly cleaned, as depicted in the image. Additionally, a 1000 yen deposit for the parking card was taken without informing us to return it for a refund. During checkout, the staff failed to remind us to return the parking ticket for the 1000 yen refund. While the service was acceptable, the overall cleanliness of the hotel was subpar.

The staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel is a cute boutique hotel in a very walkable area. The rooms are spacious. It was clean. The rooftop terrace has a nice view of the area. The only downside is the beds are hard but I think this may be common in Japan and they do offer assistance with this. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again if we visit Kyoto.
