静かでした

宿泊階行エレベーターがフロントの奥にあるのでセキュリティ万全。
部屋に衣類芳香消臭剤、バスルームにクロースラインロープやシャワーカーテンポールがあったか覚えていませんが、ホテルに1階にコインランドリーがあるので長期滞在問題なし。
部屋にはPC作業などできる程度の机がありリモートワークや出張中の事務作業も可能。
商店街近くの立地ですがあまり騒がしくありませんでした。

部屋はとてもきれいで清潔で良かったです。
ただ、チェックイン前に荷物を預かっていただいたのですが、狭いフロント前に置かれるので、スタッフが目を離した隙に外部から簡単に盗られるのでは？と不安になりました。
預かる荷物の保管スペースは安全な所に確保していただければと思います。

バスルームにはシャンプー二本とコンディショナーが一本
どうやって体を洗うのでしょうね？
疲れていたのでロビーに連絡をするのも面倒で自分が持参しているボディーソープを出して使いました。

check out 時のタブレットが電源切れ

日本人のスタッフに、夜 check out の方法を尋ねたら、カウンターのタブレットに触れてから
必要な項目を入力するように言われた。朝になるとタブレットの電源が入っていなくて、処理できずにそのまま出た。後に続く外国人も困っていた。

ホテル自体にオートロックがかかっていて、外の受話器で電話をかけたのですが電話を取るのが遅い。
そして待ち時間も長かった。チェックイン時間より30分程早く着いてしまったためこのような対応しかできなかったのかもしれないが、ホテルのオートロックのパスワードを聞くために外に10〜15分ほど過ごた。その際にホテルのパスワードを聞いているのに、外にいる客に対しメモの用意もさせず、一気に部屋番号と部屋のパスワードを言われた。
その後ホテルの中には入れたものの、フロントには人もいなく、電話とタブレットのみがあった。部屋のパスワードを忘れてしまったため、またフロントで電話をかけたが、またもや電話を取るのも保留の時間も長い。そうして伺ったパスワードを部屋に入力すると開かない。
また、下のフロントに戻り電話で開かないと伝えると、先ほど従業員から教えたパスワードが間違っていたとのこと、正しいものを聞いた。その後部屋を開けようとしたが、部屋のパスワードを間違えすぎていたためシステムロックがかかっていた。しかしトイレに行きたかったので従業員に部屋以外にトイレはあるか聞くとないといわれ、部屋のシステムロック治すためにまた時間がかかり部屋に入れたのは結局チェックインの時間と同じだった。
チェックインに30分ほどかかり、一緒に泊まりに来ていた人とは「このホテルはもう使わないね」という会話になった。

また、私たちが直接あった従業員は清掃員と、チェックイン可能時間から1時間後にホテルを出る時にフロントで見たネットをしていた男性従業員であり、電話をした女性従業員は見ていない。
そして直接あった従業員には特に対処してもらったわけでもないので、ホテルや部屋のロックに関することは全て電話でのやり取りであり、部屋は二階、フロントの電話は一階にあるため電話をかけるために何度も往復した。

私がこのような評価をしてしまうのは早くトイレに行きたかったという気持ちだったが部屋に入ることができず、ホテル自体にもトイレがなかったから余計に苛立ってしまったのかもしれない。
だがやはり、このホテルに7000円出すよりはラブホテルに泊まった方がいいとまで思った。

またホテル自体にトイレと自販機をつけてほしい。

Foreign customers needed our help to check in thru the phone as no receptionist was there at the reception. If you are regular customer, it is easy to check in but if it is the first time for you to stay here a bit difficult. Better to tell customers exactly how to check in at arrival. Other than that every thing is very good.

ホテルなの？

ホテルと言ってもフロントはなく、webチェックインすると、部屋に入れるパスワードがスマホに送られる仕組みでした。
ホテルなのにフロントに人がいないので、
サービスらしいサービスもなく、万が一
何かあった場合の対応はどうなるのか不安を感じました。
実際、何かあった場合フロントのPCでチャットで連絡をするようでしたが、 画面を見ると、宿泊客からの呼び掛けにホテル側が応じている気配はありませんでした。
ホテルの場所も分かりづらく、タクシーの運転手さんも困ってました。
ただ室内は新しいホテルなので、清潔でした。

ホテルの場所、宿泊者など

バス停から降りて路地に入って少し歩きますが、さすが京都の風情が感じられる立地にあります。ホテルのフロントには人が居ないので、旅慣れて居ない人は、チェックイン悩むかも。部屋は全室禁煙で、とても綺麗でした。喫煙所で一服してたら、海外からの旅行者ばかりで、英会話できる人は、新しい出会いがありました。京都にいるのに、海外旅行してる気分になるホテルでした。また、京都出張の時は、泊まりたいと思います。

中国人の宿泊者に代わり、予約を行なったのですが、フロントに人員を配置されず、チェックインの説明を聞いても、大変事務的で失望しました。電話での照会時に、ご担当は？と伺っても、「私が次回も対応させていただくか、わからないため、自分からは名乗りたくありません」との回答がありました。ホスピタリティーよりも利益重視としか捉えられないような印象です。

ちょっと変わってホテルというかウィークリーマンション？

フロントに人がいなくて、暗証番号を入力しないと建物に入れません。チェクインもインターホンで部屋番号と暗証番号を教えてくれるだけのシステムは斬新ですね。
建物は新しくてキレイですが、掃除やタオル交換が3日ごとだったので、せめて2日ごとにしてもらいたいと思います（事前に何も説明がなかったのも…）
あとベッドの脇に前泊者？の下着が落ちていたので掃除はしっかりお願いします。
全体としてキレイで快適なホテルでしたが、ガイジンさん向けなのかな？という感じです。

チェックインの業務フローが悪いホテル。設備は良い。

施設入館時、チェックイン時(無人)に必要なパスワードが送付されて来なかった。
確認すると「自動で送信しています」という回答で、裏を返すと「当方は悪くない」という対応。
会員登録時に登録されているアドレス宛に送っているとのことで、確認したところ、
会員登録しないで、予約している場合は、空欄のアドレス宛に送っているとのこと。意味がないが、業務フローを変えないのか確認したが、「問い合わせがあった場合に24時間体制で対応している」とのこと。
会員登録せずとも送られてくる予約完了メールには「24時間対応」とはどこにも書いていないし、むしろチェックインは18時までとあった。入館できず焦った客が対応することに委ねた業務フローである。

送信履歴があると話すも、宛先が空欄であることも把握されていらっしゃるが、

Everything was fine overall, except for one concerning incident: a staff member opened our door to let another guest in without verifying their room assignment. Although they later apologized, this is a serious breach of security. Fortunately, we were in the room at the time, and as a couple, the situation was manageable. However, had one of us been alone, out of the room, or in the shower, it would have been entirely unacceptable. The hotel should ensure guest safety and privacy.

Ein modernes, sauberes und smart eingerichtetes Hotel mit allem was man für einen Städtetrip braucht. Die Lage ist super, Anbindung an die Stadt und Umgebung sehr leicht zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Nettes und hilfreiches Personal. Gerne wieder.

Convient place

Convient but there is another smart place inn there is closer to station. This one is placed in the middle of two stations - both 8-10 min walk. Quite area to stay even though it is close to centrum. Room has a fairly size - could maybe ude a deep cleen because there was kinda dusty. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice and quiet stay in Kyoto

M‘s Inn Omiya Kuromon is definitely a recommendable place to stay in Kyoto. It is located in a very quiet neighboorhood, so it will be hard to find open restaurants at night. Very convenient is the free shuttle bus from the M’s Information Center just outside the Kyoto Main Train Station. You can also keep your luggage there or let it send to your hotel but check the timetables before. The staff at the information center was unfortunately super rude and impolite which provided a very bad first impression to us. However, the staff at our hotel was always nice and helpful.
Our transportation hub for trains and all buses was the Omiya station which is a 600 meter walk away. It is quite a pain to walk this distance several times. There is another M‘s Inn closer to the station, we would look for a room there next time. However, the station is good because you have direct access to the train to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and it is just 2 stations to Karawamachi with many restaurants and access to the Gion area. Our room was small but thats normal in Japan. It was located at the end of the floor so the internet connection was a bit slow which is the only minus. They clean the room just every 3 days which is okay since they change the towels every day if you like. Laundry is for free which is a big plus. However, the dryer needs very much time, so only use this for small laundry. We stayed 5 nights here and slept well. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

The location was great as we were off the beaten track and had a good insight into more local Kyoto rather than the key tourist areas. The hotel itself was great but the staff weren’t very personable. The advertised ‘staffed desk’ is probably an overeach as we had to check in and out through an iPad. The room and amenities were very good

Hotel well located in the centre beside Nijo castle and market. Metro station beside to you to train station and sightseeing areas. Staff not very friendly.

This property is a block away from a local market and super markets, massage, hair salon, etc. From time to time they have a front desk representative, but most likely there will be no one there. You must access via a pass code to main entrance and your room. Laundry service was a plus!

Our experience was completely different to the reviews on here saying that the check-in procedure was difficult. It couldn't have been any easier for us. So clever and streamlined. The property was fantastic and located in a really nice part of Kyoto. A special mention goes to Brulee Kyoto just around the corner in Sanjo Dori for the best donuts going around! Also, the staff -especially Kae - at the central reception near Kyoto Station were super helpful, going above and beyond to help us with booking onwards ticket. Highly recommended!

Great little place to stay a few days

Not your typical hotel as servicing of rooms would only have been the once in three days so for many I'd assume it would be just prior to checking in. That said, the room was tidy and marginally larger than some, but only marginally. There isn't the usual hotel reception but a young woman who let's you in and provides you with the key code for the building and another for the room. She's there to answer any questions should you need any assistance. Checkout is an electronic tablet on the desk when there's no one there which was the case for us.
But back to the beginning, Grand Jappening have an office opposite Kyoto station where you can leave your bags prior to getting a lift to your hotel. You can also leave your bags for free at the end of your stay off you intend to do anything before leaving Kyoto. The bus drops you off a short distance and you're then given directions by the driver to the hotel. The hotel is in a lovely area near to a covered walkway but watch out for the many cyclists who never use their bells to warn you of their presence. Nijo station is a short walk away as are many shops and cafes/restaurants. Nijo Castle is nearby.
The bed is the most comfortable I've slept in in a long time but the walls are thin. It sounded as if the neighbour was moving furniture late at night until someone else banged on their door. Get earplugs and you'd be fine.
And the laundry is free

房間整潔乾淨, 附近是住宅區, 所以唔會太嘈. 行1分鐘就到三条通, 有超市小店, 行7-10分鐘有巴士站, 地鐵站到其他景點. 雖然夜晚夠靜, 但小心點行大街到酒店問題不大

The hotel is well located and room has a good size if compared to most Japanese hotels. The check in time is really late and we had a problem with it. You have to do most of the things on your own as they do not have a full time reception. The receptionists assigned to some hours in the evening does not speak good english. There is also no room service. I think is quite expensive for the lack of service offered, but I must confess that in general our stay was good and confortable.

Reasonable price

7 mins walk from station, the lobby doesn't have reception, all you have to do is check in via ipad with the check in number sent to you. The access to your room is password system. All is well just the one bad thing is the check in time is quite late, which is around 4pm.

This hotel chain has a number of branches in Kyoto, I stayed in the Kuromonsanjo branch which is a little closer to the castle, however due to my bad planning I ended up at the Nijo branch upon arrival. At the front door there was a phone which connected directly to head office (these hotels don’t have manned front desks) who was very helpful in explaining how could I get to my hotel and also offered to hold our luggage while we’re sightseeing. Once we located the correct branch they provided me the door code via the same phone system, self-check-in was fairly easy after that. The room was amazing, very modern, spacious for Japanese standards very comfy beds. They had a smart phone in the room for us to use and also USB ports to charge phones without needing a converter. The Kuromonsanjo branch was down a little alleyway but not hard to find, a manageable walk away from Nijo Castle (and the subway station there) bit longer walk to JR Nijo station and also not too far from restaurants on Oike Dori.
