温泉旅館 湯さか荘

古い旅館でしたが、チェックインして部屋に入るとホトトギスの生の声が聞こえて自然の中にいる感覚でした♪

まさかの混浴！

最近旅行に行けていなかったので、どこか行きたいなと温泉のある宿を探してコチラへ。

前日まで忙しかったり、1泊だけということもあり、ほぼ前情報なしで到着。
箱根湯本からバスもあったようだけど、天気も良かったのでブラブラ散歩して。
後半は上り坂なので足腰の弱い人はバスがいいかな。

チェックイン時間の少し後に着いたら、まだ早めだったためか5人くらいのスタッフさんにお出迎えされた。
部屋数にしては少し多過ぎてビックリ。
貸切風呂の予約もこの時に。


部屋は広い和室で、トイレと洗面所があって快適。
早速浴衣に着替えて大浴場へ。

この宿で1番ビックリしたのが、男湯と女湯の奥にある露天風呂がなんと混浴！
早い時間で自分達だけだったので、彼女と露天風呂で合流。
明るい時間に露天風呂に2人で入るだけで新鮮だけど、貸切でなく他の人が来るかもと思うとすごく不思議な感じだった。
ココがこの宿で1番印象に残ったな。

夕食も朝食も部屋食で、アジア系の女性が流暢な日本語でひとつひとつの料理を丁寧に説明してくれた。
夕食は刺身、天ぷら、肉入り鍋など品数も多く、ボリュームもあってとても満足できた。

夕食後には貸切風呂を、朝にはもう一度大浴場に入ったが、他のカップルが露天風呂にいたので遠慮した。

部屋数も少なくこぢんまりした宿で、チェックアウトまで他のお客さんに会うことも少なくとても静かでのんびりできた。

2Fの部屋のすぐそばには小さな喫煙ルームもあった。

チェックアウト後は目の前のバスで駅に行く人が多かったかな。

全体にはシンプルに静かでリラックスできる良い宿だった。

箱根の定宿が休業中で、初めての宿は正解でした！

１つを除き、大変満足でした。お風呂は貸し切りも、露天も非常に快適。庭の手入れが行き届いていました。食事も、サービスも宿の皆さんの対応も非常によいものでした。また来たいねと家内と話しました。
残念だったのは、梅雨続きとコロナの影響だったのでしょうが、お部屋にカビ臭さが残っていたことでした。仕事の関係で21時前に入ったので、スプレーを頼まなかったのです。２日目には気にならなくなりましたが。。

あまり他のお客さんを気にせずにゆっくりのんびり良い時間を過ごせました。ご飯もとっても美味しかったし、温泉も良いお湯でした。

Booked one night here because the onsen looked nice, now I wish I would have stayed a whole week. We arrive to quite friendly staff who treated us like royalty. The hotel has a traditional Japanese feel that I haven’t experienced anywhere else in Japan! To our surprise our room came included with Breakfast and dinner all elaborately served to the room. The staff did everything to make our stay enjoyable and I can’t recommend this place enough!

We (a couple) had a wonderful time in this very nice Ryokan. We stayed 2 days. The food was delicious and of high quality, the private onsen as well as the public mixed awesome very enjoyable. I would highly recommend Yusakaso and thank you so much for this unforgettable experience! Arigato gozaimasu!

Gives you an experience that Japanese locals would do on their time away from the city while also being able to cater to foreign travelers. Onsen was amazing with a lovely backdrop of the Hakone mountains. and the food was a great alternative to the overhyped cuisine many people recommend over social media.

Staff was welcoming and accommodating. Spoke English and communicated the rules clearly and described the dishes we had.

The room itself was spacious, smelled sweet of tatami flooring and was air conditioned.

10/10 would recommend to anyone travelling to Hakone

If you are limited in mobility, travel arrangements can be made as the properly is located 15minutes uphill

They were so accommodating as our flight was late. Beautiful peaveful property with a wonderful onsen. I wish we had more time there. The meals were fabulous.

This was a perfect spot if you are looking for a traditional Japanese onsen experience. The staff were courteous and thoughtful, and the service in room was excellent. The private baths, as well as the public bath outside, were clean and well maintained, and the outdoor bath was tastefully designed. Traditional japanese dinner served in the room was very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a retreat!

We loved the traditional ryokan style offered at Yusakaso. The staff really goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable and also to explain how to use the different facilities. Thankfully you could reserve the use of the private family onsen for 30 minutes. We used this time to experience the hot springs and took advantage of the shower facilities there since there is only a toilet and sink in your room. We wanted to experience the traditional Japanese Ryokan and this is really it. The food was very good and plentiful, and again quite traditional. We stayed here just for one night and enjoyed all the highlights of Hakone using the 2 Days free pass. This was one of our favorite areas to visit, and the experience at Yusakaso was definitely part of it. We were very pleased.

熱情，方便

環境寕靜，四圉翠綠環境，很舒服。湯莊豐滿日式色彩，翻新後保留風味。交通要乘車入。往火車站都很方便。待應們都很好，熱情款待和親切。食物美觀可口，下次會再入住。

Ainutlaatuinen kokemus

Ainutlaatuinen kokemus yöpyä tällaisessa perinteikkäässä paikassa. Sisustus, palvelu, ruoka ja kylpylä olivat perijapanilaista ja todella laadukasta. Palvelu oli pienestä kielimuurista huolimatta loistotasoa, ruoka erikoista mutta hyvää. Pieni kylpylä oli siisti ja kaunis. Sijainti oli hyvä. Suhteellisen lähellä asemaa, shutlle bussilla pääsi suoraan ovelta. 15 min kävelymatka Onsen Tenzan -kylpylään. Tätä ryokania voi mielellään suositella!

The food was amazing and our host Tomo and the staff really made us feel at home. With the help of a translation app, we were able to communicate without a problem. The private bath was great for our family to use. The property was on a hill so it would be a little too much to walk with luggages but otherwise totally walkable to the train station.

Relaxing

Great place to feel the traditional Japanese Onsen and hospitality. There is an onsen for women and you can shower in the locker room since you only have a toilet and sink in your room. The walk and stairs pass a beautiful river, but the steep stairs with luggage is not advised . Take a shuttle or cab if you want an easy walk. It’s 15 minutes uphill. The food is overwhelming, so don’t eat before arriving. Dinner and breakfast was way too much to eat, but everything was enjoyable and a great experience.

Should provide free shuttle bus from the station otherwise walking from station is not very far but the roads are very tilted 15 mins walk with luggage will be hard

Very approachable for a more cultural, traditional experience. Was very easy for an American foreigner like myself to have a truly authentic experience. Staff is incredibly hospitable, helpful, patient, and capable. My first ryokan experience that I have Yusakaso to thank. Quality onsens, extraordinarily clean.

The stay at Yusakaso left nothing to be desired. The staff and meals were excellent. The room was large and quiet. The public baths were nice and clean. The outdoor mixed gender as well as the time in the private bath are perfect to share a bath with a partner.

Expérience inoubliable

Un séjour inoubliable ! Nous souhaitions découvrir un ryokan et les fameux onsen. Mais aussi vivre l’expérience de dormir sur un matelas dans un chambre uniquement composée de tatamis. À cette expérience géniale grâce à la gentillesse de tout le personnel s’ajoute les incroyables dîners et petits déjeuners japonais.

Great location but needs a major update

This ryokan with onsen is in a beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and the dinner and breakfast were that of a traditional ryokan, which we very much enjoyed (fish, soup, pickles). We were a bit wary of sleeping on the traditional bedding, but it was surprisingly comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep after soaking in the gorgeous onsen! The larger one is located outdoors which was so lovely with the fog and steam coming off the water. There's an indoor/outdoor onsen as well, that you can book for one hour which we didn't use as the outdoor one is much more scenic.

The place itself needs a major update. The decor is lacking and it really needs to be revamped to include better lighting. There are stains on some of the wall coverings and the lighting in the room was so bad (overhead bright fluorescent lamp) and a small table lamp that was just for reading. We used one of the floor lamps from the hallway to give the room a bit more ambiance, which helped, but was still very dimly lit. It has potential for being super cute and for the money spent should definitely be overhauled.

You have to take a bus or taxi as it's too far to walk from the train station if you have luggage (maybe a 30 minute walk) which isn't a problem, but the trip back from the hotel was a bit more difficult because the bus was standing room only because everyone in the area was checking out at the same time.

핸드폰 하나만 들고 걸어갈 것이 아니라면 무조건 택시를 타고 들어가야 하는 곳입니다.(언덕이 엄청남) 특히 주변에 아무것도 없으므로 간식, 마시고 싶은 술 등이 있다면 반드시 하코네유모토역에서 사서 들어가야 합니다.(일본인들이 꽤나 오는 곳인 만큼 주차장은 잘 되어 있음)
그 외에 치약은 없으나 칫솔, 타올, 유카타, 녹차 등은 매일 새로운 것으로 채워주고 연박해도 방청소는 안해줍니다.
맥주는 330미리가 약 7,000원 하니까 가능하면 냉장고 안에 있는 것은 안마시는 것이 좋고, 얼음은 별도 비용이 듭니다. 온천세가 드니까 체크아웃할때 현금을 준비해야합니다.
하코네유모토역까지 가는 셔틀버스가 하루 3대 정도가 있는데 막차가 10시이고 막차는 항상 붐비니까 피하는게 좋습니다. 셔틀버스는 하코네패스를 쓸 수 없으니 성인 1인단 100엔을 준비해야합니다. 식사도 맛있고 서비스도 대체로 좋습니다.

친절한 직원분들, 맛있는 음식.

모든 직원분들이 아주 친절하였고, 음식도 정말 맛있었습니다.
침구가 불편하긴 했지만 이건 해당 객실 특성상 어쩔 수 없는 부분인 것 같습니다. 바닥에 까는 형태의 이불에 익숙하지 않은 분들은 침대가 있는 방을 예약하는 걸 추천합니다.
아주 만족스러운 여행이었습니다.

Rent och städat, fantastisk personal och man kände sig väldigt bortskämd! Riktigt bra traditionell mat, dock svårt att få vegetarisk. Kanske kan gå om man hör av sig i god tid innan. Inga problem om man kan äta fisk.

The building is a beautiful building of traditional hot spring. We enjoyed the Onsen. The meals, dinner and breakfast, were not prepared. They said they were going to close the inn completely after the Golden Week but they opened because of us. The convenience stores, Family Mart was a good walking distance if you love to walk for a distance, not convenient.

Family-friendly and child-friendly, which is not very common. Rooms were traditional and spacious, onsens were fabulous. The best part was the breakfast feast laid out by the lovely Japanese woman in full kimono each morning of our stay. Highly recommended!

Family friendly onsen is hard to come by. This was great !!
They have a shuttle to bring you back to the Hakone-Yumato station in the morning. They helped me wash my baby bottles. They provided a baby chair during my stay. They had private family onsen time slots available upon check in. Place is a little outdated. The outside garden onsen is co-ed, super lovely and they allow females to bring a towel into the outside onsen. Cash only facility.

Endroit très typique, parfait pour une expérience japonaise traditionnelle. Personnel ne parlant pas anglais donc parfois difficile de se comprendre.
Le soir, nous avons profité des bains et le lendemain matin, nous avons eu le petit déjeuner servi dans la chambre, très bons moments passés dans ce ryokan.
