居心地は良い感じです。

古民家なのでちょっと床がギシギシしますが部屋はいい感じです。
ただ、アメニティはないので自分で用意は必要です。

写真通りの部屋で、とても心地よく過ごせました。またここで泊まりたいと思います。唯一の不満を言えば、WiFiの繋がりにくかった点です。2階用のWiFiに何故か繋がることができず、1階のやつに繋がったらかなり遅いときもありました。これだけ改善すれば完璧です。

古い家屋を改装しただけあって趣がある建物でした。掃除も行き届いていて清潔感があり、好感が持てました。スタッフの対応も良かったです。でも、シャンプーやボディーソープ以外のタオル、歯ブラシなどのアメニティーが無料で備わっていなかったのが残念でした、ホテルに置いてあるような歯ブラシを100円で買うのには少し高いと感じました。500円で1日貸してもらえる自転車は観光で京都を見て回るのにいいと思います。

因為是古老的建築，隔音真的很不好，如果隔壁住客很吵，聲音會很明顯，如果是攜帶大型行李的旅人，這裡的樓梯偏抖，需特別留意腳下安全

I understand that the building is old, but they should improve the cleanliness of the facility, rooms, and walls. The heated table sheets had food stains everywhere, and the corners of the room were too dusty.

It's a hostel! Don't expect room service. But it was exactly what we were looking for (cheap room). The added attraction for us was the fact that it is a 125-year-old house. It was great getting to experience sleeping on the floor on futons. As with most hostels, the toilet and bathroom are "down the hall." However, our room had its own private toilet, which was convenient. Check-in was "interesting." There's a box at the front door that has "check-in" instructions for incoming guests. You find the paper with your name, and it tells you how to open the front door, what room you're in, WI-FI info, etc. We arrived late evening and left early morning. As such, we didn't see anybody connected with the facility. It was just like coming and leaving home. A wonderful experience, in my opinion, that well suited our needs and budget.

What an interesting traditional japanese house to stay at. A bit hard to find the staff around, and also the bathrooms are not as clean as they look. Still a great experience overall.

The hostel is very clean and well organized. The instructions for the self check-in were very easy to understand. The hostel is also on a traditional Japanese house, so it was amazing to have this experience!

Very charming and helpful

Haruya Umekoji is so charming and authentic. Less than 10 minutes walk from the Umekoji station, and right next to the aquarium. The staff was very helpful and they even have bicycles you can rent out for the day (trust me, it’s the better way to get around Kyoto).

An incredible experience. We enjoyed the traditional building, helpful stay, serene ambience very comfortable. Lunch included was delicious and also a lovely traditional experience.

Great staffs ever

2 stops from kyoto Station if you're taking bus which cost RM 8 per trip. If you choose walking then would be 15-20mins. Staffs are extremely polite and friendly (really love them so much) You need to be quiet and careful during the stays becoz of the building structure, can easily hear people next door talking or walking. With quite a strong wood smell as it's a 100 years old building. The room is clean, overall a good stay and recommended to someone who wants to experience a traditional Japanese culture stay.

Chambre très sommaire et matelas si fin que j’avais l’impression de dormir directement sur le tatamis. Attention pas de serviette fournis, en supplément...au prix de la chambre , un scandale.

This is a quaint little hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood 15 minutes away from the train station. The buildings are old but well-maintained and clean.

A nice traditional Japanese hotel

A typical Japanese style hotel. A good experience but shared shower. A bus stop is at front of hotel. Front desk only opens to 9pm. So check in must be before that time. Will book this hotel again if have a chance in Kyoto.

일본에서 한번쯤은 다다미방에서 잠을자는것도 추천 드려요 다만 100년된 방이여서 작은 소음에도 민감하시다면 여기는 추천드리지 않습니다^^

Excellent experience in Kyoto

Excellent vintage style room, very quiet community. Near to bus stop, and if you want to enjoy some morning (I.e. 6am) visit to nearby shirne, the best hostel locational ever.

老屋

體驗日本老屋住宿的感覺，真的很古色古香
整個很喜歡，可惜呆的時間有點短暫
無法好好的使用整個空整，太可惜了

不推荐

百年的老房子了，所以设施真的不大好，房间超小的，每个楼的每个楼层都有好几个房间，一个楼层1-2个浴室，两个卫生间，真的是太不够用了。
唯一的好处，离京都站近，其实这个好处也用不大上的，即使近我也是坐BUS到京都站的，因为有巴士一日券啊，所以，在别的地方坐巴士也是一样的。
