歩いてすぐ道頓堀

低価格だったので、それほど期待はしていなかったのですが、お部屋の広さ、キレイさ大満足でした。スタッフの方も親切で、これから行く施設をチェックインの際お話していたら、行き方を調べてくれていました。
また、ぜひ利用したいと思います。

新しくきれいな客室だが、空調が全く効かない。

1、インテリアはきれいでした。
2、清掃も行き届いており清潔感がありました。
3、暖房が全くと言ってよいほど利かず、とても不快でした。
　 寝室と同じく浴室の寒さも尋常ではありませんでした。
4、「できたばかりのホテルなのでお湯が出るまでに3～5分かかります」と説明を受けました。恐らく給湯設備を巨額を投じて一新しなければ、今後も改善しないのではないでしょうか。
5、「できたばかりなので朝食サービスはありません」と説明を受けました。

숙소 너무 깨끗하고 방도 널찍해서 더 쾌적했어요! 직원분들 엄청 친절하셔서 정말 행복한 경험이었습니당😊 1층에 있는 안마의자랑 특히 음료 서비스가 아주 쏠쏠했어요ㅋㅋ 체크아웃 후 짐보관도 가능하고 라피트 타는 곳까지 데려다 주셔서 편하게 이동할 수 있었습니다! 다음에 또 이용할 예정입니다😎

Had a good experience at the hotel. Location is right near Dotonbori yet far enough away that it was quiet and pleasant.

The hotel’s offering of drinks was a great addition and we definitely took advantage of them and the seating area to have dinners. The hotel even took us to the bus terminal and assisted in getting tickets to Kansai. Next time we are in Osaka, staying at Hotel 88 again.

Could not have picked a better hotel. 2 adults and 2 children (12 & 15 yrs old). The room was spacious with 2 king beds, separate sitting area with couch and table. The staff was AMAZING and very helpful. They had umbrellas available for use if needed (which we did), they called taxis for us when needed, provided written directions to get to our next city while forwarding our luggage. The lobby has plenty of tables and chairs with complimentary drinks as well as a pool table for fun! Location was great, easy walk from bus station and walkable to many things. Would definitely stay here again.

Service was OUTSTANDING from beginning to end. The hotel even took us (family of 4) to Shin-Ōsaka Train Station for no additional charge. Free beverages (24/7), free massage chairs, and free umbrella rentals are just a few more perks that this hotel offered.

If you’re planning to visit the area, this hotel is a no brainer. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

TOP hotel in Osaka, with A+ staff.

What a wonderful hotel! From the great location to the quirky design, to the free soft drinks and coffee in the lobby, to the massage chairs thatI regret that I never managed to enjoy, it was all top notch. But what really set it apart was its wonderfully friendly staff.

Due to a minor injury, I decided to take advantage of Japan's famously efficient luggage forwarding service (which really is fantastic) to send my bags to the Kyoto hotel I would be staying the following day, so that I did not have to lug it around with me. The front desk staff at Hotel 88 not only helped me fill out the paperwork but found a big cardboard box, which they expertly cut down in size to perfectly fit my two bags. (It was actually quite impressive how they did this.) Putting my two bags snugly into a single box saved me a lot of money, as the forwarding service charges per bag (or box), not by weight. The 88 Shinsaibashi team then professionally taped up the box and I left it with them as I went exploring. When I arrived at my Kyoto hotel the following day, the box was waiting in my room. What a country!

And what a hotel 88 Shinsaibashi is! I would definitely stay there again. In fact, I wish I could stay there again TOMORROW! One of my favorite hotel experiences ever.

I've visited Japan four times and this might be my favorite hotel yet. I stayed in a room in the annex and it was clean, modern, quiet, and spacious.

The hotel is located in a very good location between Namba Station and Dotonbori which makes it well placed for local exploration and for getting out to the rest of the city.

The staff were extremely helpful and professional. They had a very good grasp on English, which while not required definitely makes things easier.

I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in Osaka at any point.

Pleasantly Surprised

Service was EXCELLENT! I love the complimentary beverage area and tables. I prefer this over free breakfast as 7-11 and other affordable places to eat were near by. Only stayed one night but will definitely book again.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room had very convenient touches like many many hooks, large trash bins, a mini fridge that actually gets very cold, Dyson hair dryer, etc.

We booked last minute and they were able to set up the baby cot for us.

The room we had was not handicap accessible which wasn’t a big deal for us. I don’t know if that’s the case for all rooms so please check when you book. There are steps to get to the toilet and bathroom. There is even a little 2 inch step to the bedroom area.

Love it like at your home

I LOVE this hotel and feel like at home. The location is very near with dontonburi, free drink all the time, free massage chair especially after you are going out all day it is very comfortable, having coin washing machines and when i want to go to rapi’t station to go air port, the officer drop us to the station and it is free 😀 … the best thing they are really care about customers and i got free upgrade room too … we will come back here again !!!

Not bad but make sure you know what you’re getting

Stayed in a room for three people - one queen and one twin. While not overly spacious there was a decent amount of space. However I did notice some differences between this and other rooms that soured the experience a bit.

- Other rooms were getting bathrobes. Our room never received any.
- Our particular room received next to no natural light. Outside the window less than a foot away was another building.
- Although it was nice that the toilet was self-cleaning with soap, there was a weird feces-type smell that hit us upon entry but disappeared within 5 min. We could never determine the source. This was even with leaving the humidifier/air freshener running nonstop. Ventilation issue?

On the plus side:
- Staff tried to be as helpful as possible.
- Maid service each day was flawless.
- Using Yamato transport to send luggage to next destination was seamless
- Unlimited drinks in lobby and plates/silverware was very appreciated
- Close proximity to Namba Walk, Metro, Dotonbori, and America-Mura.

Suggestions
- Due to limited food options in the early morning, any sort of breakfast would be greatly appreciated. Even just a simple buffet with pastry delivery, fruit, and/or simple bread items and a toaster would be better than nothing.
- Stress in listing that there’s no restaurant. This isn’t immediately clear.
- Can there be an alternative to that check in video we have to watch?
- The art is cool/funky but the money could be better spent on amenities.

This hotel is situated in an optimal area, close to Dotonburi and the subway station. Meaning you can go on your day trips around Japan very easily! The fact there are some restaurants that are 24/7 in Dotonburi means you will never go hungry! The hotel staff is amazing, we had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Travis who is a native English speaker so it made things a lot easier to navigate and get around! I will be booking this hotel again next time I'm in town!

Cute and quirky modern hotel. Friendly staff and loved that it had a hotel lounge to hang out in. Also massage chairs were perfect after a long day of walking. Not as many in room amenities as other hotels but had the basics (toothbrush, hairbrush, razor, blow dryer) but decent sized rooms, tons of USB ports:) and great location by Dontonburi.

Excellent hotel -- a 10 out of 10!

Strongly recommend this hotel -- designed for the traveler. Extremely clean! Quirky decor. Massage chairs, eating area (with dishes, cutlery, microwave, beverages), lounge area in the lobby. Air conditioned hotel room is large with sofa, beds (with best mattresses we had in Japan), microwave, full size fridge, safe, lots of hangers & coat hooks, drying rack for laundry, air purifier, washroom separated into 3 rooms: sink, shower/tub, toilet.

Room key holder is map to area.

Staff are amazingly helpful! & kind! Quick to respond. When we asked directions at front desk, a staff insisted on walking us to the correct gate for our subway at Namba Station -- good thing as our just loaded Suica card didn't work & she handled it & worked with subway staff to resolve the problem. Luggage storage provided. When we checked out, staff offered to drive us to OCAT to catch the airport bus and also carried all our luggage in.

HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

Great location right by Dotonbori. The room I had was big and clean with a good layout. The elevator was fast and the common area downstairs had a nice community vibe and also had free drinks. There was a good amount of washers and dryers compared to other hotels I’ve been to in Japan. The front desk communicated well and I was checked in and out quickly - they were also helpful with helping me forward my luggage to my next hotel. Overall my favourite hotel I’ve been to in Japan and will be booking it again when I come to Osaka again!

Great location for walking Dotumburi! Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and the staff were fantastic. We needed a shuttle to the airport bus, it was ready for us in the morning and they made sure we got there quickly and hassle free, without any charge which was very nice. It’s not a luxury hotel but it’s decent and location is what you want.

Great location in Namba next, close to metro and Dotonbori.
It was nice to have the drink options in the foyer, but would've been nice to have some snacks/crackers or similar to go with the drinks like some other hotels have, or have disaposable cups so you could the drink back to your room. Seems the benefit could not be utilised fully, especially when busy.

Rooms themselves were functional though with the weird steps all over the place and the vinyl floors. Big plus though was the bench behind the beds! Loved that as great spot to store your random electronic and other stuff.

The free massage chairs were a nice touch though and were well utilised.

4 washing/drying machines available at 400yen 200yen for dryer. Best to not use in the evening when busy.

This hotel got so many things right. For a family of 4, the room was not as spacious as previous places we've stayed at in Japan (291 sq ft vs the other places we stayed at, which were 377 sq ft, 678 sq ft, and 484 sq ft) but the room was efficiently designed, from multiple hooks on the wall, multiple hangers for clothes, a drying rack, and a separate toilet from the bathtub/shower area. There was a daily change of towels, and a daily supply of water bottles left at the door when you chose not to have your room serviced. They had a common dining area (with plates, utensils, cups), where families can eat comfortably (since there isn't a dining table in the room) AND they have free drinks (soda, water, coffee, tea). There was a pool table that provided entertainment for adults and kids. There were multiple massage chairs and 5 of them were conveniently located near the coin laundry area. We were using these chairs on a daily basis especially after long days of walking. The location was close to the train station and bus station (OCAT), and the NAMBA walk underground area, with many selections of food restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores, etc. It was also very close to the Dotonbori. We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and felt super comfortable. And at the end of our stay, the hotel brought us to the Shin-Osaka station for free! We would absolutely stay here again. And as per my kids, they liked this hotel the best out of 4 hotels we stayed at during our 3-wk Japan stay!

We stayed at this Hotel 88 in Osaka for 3 nights (August 9-12, 2024). The location is perfect. Just step out of the door and you are closed to everything, Namba train station, underground shopping and eating, and Osaka’s most famous tourist attraction, Dotonbori. But most importantly, the exceptional degree of help and friendlyness from the hotel staff and management is unmatchable. From the moment you check in, during the stay and the moment checking in to checking out, they are there to help. They accompanied me to the exchange office after I just asked for directions. They helped us carrying suitcases from the hotel all the way to the entrance of the train!!! Where can you find this kind of help these days? I will surely come back to this hotel. And I recommend this hotel 88 to everyone who come to visit Osaka.

Excellent hotel and staff. They are friendly, helpful, and speak good English.This is a great value for proximity to Dotonbori. Cozy rooms, well-equipped and very clean. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping, and Namba station is a few minutes walk. Just be aware that there are adult hotels nearby, but they are discreet.

Super convenient as hotel is close to dotonbori. Loved all the amenities, especially the Dyson hair dryer. Highly appreciated the Dyson after other hotels only offering the average Panasonic hair dryers that take 10x the amount of time to dry hair. Staff was really helpful and the drink bar is amazing. The one downside is the area outside the hotel. Not sure if this is common but there were a lot of love hotels and “erotic baths”. Hence at night it didn’t feel quite as safe walking around.

The hotel was 10 minutes walk away from Osaka Namba station, and provided shuttle service that dropped us off at Nankai station during our stay. It was also a short walk away from Dotonbori. The area itself was quiet at night.

일단 무엇보다 직원분들 친절함이 너무 좋았고 방도 청결하고 내부 시설도 나무랄데 없습니다.

아주 만족스러운 호텔이었어요.
중고딩 아이 두명과 어른 두명이 잘 수 침대가 별로 없었는데, 여긴 킹사이즈 두개라 아주 널찍하게 잘 잤네요.
데스크 직원들도 친절하고 리무진버스정류장까지 픽업해 줘서 넘넘 편하고 좋았어요.
도톰보리도 가까워 야경을 즐길 수 있었습니다.
단점을 꼽으라면..음..호텔 출입구 주변이 러브호텔이 좀 많아서 신경이 쓰였네요.
그것 외에는 저는 만족스러운 편이었어요.

Hotel was in a great location and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was definitely one of the biggest I've ever stayed in while traveling in Japan and comfortable. Massage chairs were great in the lobby. Only down side was the dryer not drying that well even with a small load of clothes in there, so be prepared to dry the same load a few times.

Trip and fail.

Our room layout had multiple small level changes that made no reasonable sense. The flooring was all one continuous vinyl. This created tripping and stumbling hazards any time we moved around. If you book, watch your step!

Excellent in every aspect. Hospitality, cleanliness and support from staff are all excellent. The only limitation is that it does not have the restaurant, but it provides all the beverages, microwave, etc. BTW, it’s vicinity to all the shopping areas, restaurants makes this totally unnecessary. Go explore all the nice Japanese cuisine and let’s not forget the nearby Kuromon market which offers all the fresh seafood. Last but not least, kudos to the Japanese work ethics and hospitality, they go to great lengths to provide all the help. When I checked out the hotel, I declined the offer of the shuttle to the train station. However, one of the luggage were hard to be moved. Instead of ignoring my difficulty, one of the guy ran out and carried my luggage for me all the way to the train station. I really appreciated his effort and I felt bad that I did not jot down his name. I highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff is very friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay here, they even send us to Namba station for our airport bus to the airport. Awesome free drink machines in the lobby where you can get free juice, coffee, tea, and soup.
Enjoyed the convenience of walking to transportation and food options very much.

一定再訪的旅館

地點無敵，地鐵難波站出來步行5分鐘。
就在道頓堀旁邊，步行到心齋橋購物街只要6分鐘。

有中文服務，非常貼心方便。

房間真的大，同時開三個行李箱還有活動空間。

暖氣很溫暖、熱水夠熱夠強。

非常推薦的一家旅館！

10/10 amazing hotel & staff!
Room was huge, had separate toilet from shower which was great. There’s a free drink machine in the lobby where you can get free juice, coffee, tea, soup. There’s also billiards massage chairs all for free use. The hotel itself is very artsy which is quite fun to look at. But the staff are truly the best. They provided a paper map to show us how to get back to the train station and 2 men (one being the owner) actually helped bring our luggage into the station up to our gate for us! They were so incredibly kind! Location is also amazing, as it was only a 5 min walk to Dotonbori, 7 min to Glico sign, and even less to the train station. Stay here, you won’t regret it

완벽한 곳이었습니다 곳곳에 청결하고 정갈함은 물론 세심하고 친절하십니다. 일본에서 본 어떤 숙소보다 넓습니다 체크아웃과 공항 이동 택시까지 불러주시고 케어해주셨습니다. 군더더기 없이 깔끔하고 친절하여 이번 여행에서 가장 인상깊은 일본의 모습이었습니다 또 찾겠습니다

櫃檯服務人員非常親切，還提醒會下雨記得帶傘，疑似老闆的人員也是親切的問候並詢問有無需要幫忙。一樓有免費咖啡飲料吧，休息區域很大，另一區也有按摩椅。房間寬敞有驚艷到，畢竟日本房型都偏小，浴室也很大，乾濕分離，廁所在另一間有隔開，非常方便。離難波地鐵站很近，走去心齋橋也很近，唯一缺點是飯店附近好像比較雜亂，但日本很安全不需擔心。這是多次旅行中最喜歡的飯店，希望老闆可以考慮去東京開分店😆

Wonderful hotel I stayed

This is best hotel I ever stayed in Osaka.( I visited Osaka at least 30 times)
The location is great , near many attractions .
The hotel is super clean and comfortable. Also have a big bathtub ( it is really rare in most of hotels)
The staff is amazing and nice .
They even offer delivery services to Namba station for free. Even I try to tip them they said no need to .
They’re really nice to us we have wonderful time during our stay.
Definitely we will stay here once we in OSAKA!!

Love it!!

Hotel 88 was awesome, will definitely stay again if back in Osaka. Room was spacious, location within mins walk to everything including subway, staff were friendly and even send us to Namba station for our train to the airport. They also left clean towels and water when we put up the “Do not disturb” notice. They are extremely thoughtful, Kudos for making our stay awesome!!

Small room, conveniently located close to heart of Dotonbori. No breakfast options. Walking distance to JR Namba station and it worked out surprisingly well for us because we used JR pass almost everyday to explore areas surrounding Osaka.
