今回初めて利用させて頂きました。以下の点が非常に素晴らしいと感じました。

1.立地を活かす必要最小限で十分な設備が細かく手入れされているため、環境の素晴らしさを満喫できる
2.当日に夕食の手配をお願いしたにもかからず、無理を通して下さった
3.他の予定(新穂高ロープウェイ星空鑑賞便)との兼ね合いを含めて、夕食の時間にも融通を聞かせて下さった
4.食材はおそらく殆どが地のもので、飛騨牛や岩魚、野菜、山菜や朴木の葉、味噌や米に至るまで香りも味も最高
5.部屋の洗面台の蛇口から出てくる水が美味しい
6.女性も混浴の露天風呂に入ることができるように配慮されている
7.温泉の泉質が素晴らしい

夏は蛍が宿まで入ってくるそうです。川遊びもできるそうなので次回は夏にお邪魔したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

周囲の山々を眺めながら豪快な渓流の横に露天風呂があり ひとりでも貸し切り露天風呂に入らせてもらいました。

食事なしのプランでしたが、出かける元気もなくお願いしたら突然なのに簡単な食事をご用意してくださいました。

秘境の温泉。風呂の数が多く整ってる！

山奥の雰囲気。
部屋も建物も清潔。
トイレは部屋に無いけど、ない方がよく感じるぐらい。ウォシュレット完備で綺麗。

露天風呂全て川が見える。
参加連なる。上ふたつが男湯。下が混浴。女湯が一つ。橋を渡って右奥に貸切露天風呂が２つ。２つ風呂があり、そのうち１つは夜には電気ついててやるでも明るい。夜も入りましたが、昼の方が明るくて良かったです。景色見れるのが違います。私は川添いの露天風呂目当てでしたので、内湯は入りませんでしたが、覗くと綺麗な風呂でした。

ご飯も美味しく、また行きたくなる場所です。

川の中の温泉がある秘湯旅館

秘湯が最高でした。山の奥の、しかも川の中の温泉がある旅館ですから、作りが古くトイレもお部屋にはないので、部屋の評価としては下がりますが、混浴の露天風呂には水着で入れるし、泉質もしっとり、お肌ツルツル、お風呂には24時間入れて貸切風呂まである素晴らしい宿でした。ごはんは食べきれないくらい次々にお料理が出て来ました！飛騨牛の鉄板焼き最高でした！

景色が綺麗

ホテルの作りは古いが、中は綺麗だった。景色も露店風呂も良い。値段の割に部屋が良い。しかし、トイレが共用なのが少し残念。部屋にトイレがあるともっと快適になると思う。
穂高ロープウェイからは近いので、ロープウェイに観光に行く際には便利だった。

Experienced a traditional Japanese Onsen Ryokan

The ryokan was just sit aside the river. It was aged but was kept very good. A real traditional ryokan.
The outdoor onsens were excellent. I enjoyed the onsens with the nature very much. The staff could be communicated with basic English while I couldn't speak Japanese.
The Japanese style dinners were delicious and delighted. I had tasted the top quality Hida beef, as well the yummy local Hoba miso and pickles. The dinners were one of the bests I had during my 7 days tour in Takayama-Hokuriku area. Breakfasts were also nice. Will definitely stay in again.

Room rate is unreasonably high considering the quality of services and the hardwares. The meals are of acceptable standard but not impressive esp. the Hida Beef is disappointing in terms of quantity and cooking skill. I have to walk for over a hundred meters with several heavy luggages

정말 너무너무 좋아요♡ 시간이 멈춘듯한 오래된 곳이지만 어디하나 흠잡을곳없이 너무 깔끔하게 관리가 되어있습니다. 주인의 정성과 노력이 작은곳까지 섬세하게 보였어요! 게다가 식사는 가히 예술입니다 정말 너무 맛있어서 놀랐어요 최고의 실력자가 이런곳에 숨어계시다니... 말도안됩니다 정말 아침 저녁 식사 꼬옥하세요!♡ 그리고 온천물 또한 대박입니다 굉장히 맑고 깨끗해요 이렇게 맑고 좋은 온천물 처음입니다 노천탕에 매료되어서 좋다하고 담궜는데 피부가 너무너무너무 좋아져서 놀랐어요 일행들도 넘 좋았다고 계속 있고싶다고 난리였ㅅ습니다 주변 풍경도 넘 아름답고 로프웨이도 코앞이고 버스도 료칸 바로 앞에서 내려줍니다 정류장이 아예 신잔소앞입니다 ㅎㅎ 아무튼 정말 너무 좋아요 평생 오고싶은 곳입니다 부디 오래도록 이 모습 그대로 있어주세요 최고입니다!

Amazing onsen! In particular, there are two private open-air onsen that can be reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis, and are located next to the river (about 3 mins walk from the ryokan). The only issue I had is that rooms do not come with toilet - need to use a common toilet.

Sehr schön gelegen, wir hatten ein schönes großes Zimmer. Mehrere Möglichkeiten um ein tolles heißes Bad zu nehmen, sowohl innen als außen. Das Essen is japanisch aber sehr gute Qualität und viel. Das Hotel ist etwas älter, das sieht man, aber das stört nicht. Sehr nettes Personal. Würde jederzeit wieder hingehen.

Wonderful hotel, hot natural baths next to river!

We had a great stay here in April 2018. Wonderful Japanese style room with view on the river. Great breakfast and dinner. And awesome hot natural baths (onsen) both inside the hotel and outside the hotel, 5 steps away to the river. We had a bath outside while it was snowing, very memorable!

Excellent environment but need to update facility

The environment is excellent! Bathing in open-air hot spring while snowing is enjoyable. The room is spacious and with beautiful view. However, the electricity wiring inside the room needed to be improved. When we tried to boil water, the fuse blew. The heater in the room shut down. It's 11 o'clock at night and there's no staff in the reception desk. We could not find any phone no. for emergency contact as well. Fortunately, there's air-conditioning in the room and it could bearly keep the room warm in the sub-zero temperature. When we told the staff about no heater last night, the staff told us "OK" and do nothing, like he didn't care at all. We were a bit disappointed as Japanese is well known for their service, perhaps not this hotel.

Best for those who enjoy open air hot spring

Surrounded by mountains and trees and rivers that you cannot see any other buildings in the area; and one must cross a suspension bridge to get to the hotel. It was aged yet the conditions are still good. You can almost feel the history as you walk inside. Staff are nice and very helpful and can speak general English. Dinner is great and delicious. Room is big and tidy. Heating is enough in room and in indoor area of hotel (I stay in winter where temperature is like -5 dc outside). No toilets and bathroom inside the rooms but a washing basin. Indoor bathroom and hot spring are okay. Open air hot spring is very large (20 persons will not be a problem) and is open to the river and mountains. 2 Private hot spring are available without extra charges - all you need is to make a reversation in counter. One private hot spring is excellent and the other is just okay. The counter staff will recommend the better one if it is not occupied. || If you love hot spring and the nature and want to stay far from town and people, this hotel is great. But if you look for a hotel that is convenient with different facilities, it is not that kind of hotel. || Although it is one bus stop from cable car station, do not try to walk from there in winter as the road is covered with snow. Surrounded by the nature means there is literally nothing else nearby.

Magical Experience!

What a hotel!

Surrounded by mountains and a lively river stream, this hotel has the best possible location (provided you have a car to reach)!

Rooms are clean and the small balcony opens up facing the stream. Balcony has (i think) a heated mattress under the carpet so you feel comfortable sitting in the balcony sipping a hot Ocha in 0 degrees Celsius watching the little snowfall!

This is just an awesome experience!

Definitely going there again!

Beautiful setting in the mountains. Close to the rope way for hiking. Warm saunas overlooking raging river. Dinner is a bit pricey but there is a nice little restaurant two kilometers down the road with good food at a reasonable price.

Wonderful, authentic stay surrounded by nature!

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Shinzanso inn/ryokan.
It was worth the travel. The inn was clean and well kept. The staff was kind and helpful. The food was amazing and we got to indulge in Japanese specialties. The onsen baths were a treat and a special experience. We stayed two nights and it was just the right amount time for us. We also went up the Ropeway to see the view of the Alps. Definitely recommended as part of a larger trip around Japan, we went between our time spent in Tokyo and Kyoto.

Amazing time at Shinzanso

We had an amazing stay at Shinzanso. Getting here can be a little difficult but it is well worth the journey. We did the full board which included the dinner and breakfast and we enjoyed both of our meals. The check-in process was fairly quick and we used signed up for our private onsen time with tons of options for time slots. The Onsen was the most spectacular thing we have done. You cannot imagine the feeling you have when you are surrounded by natural beauty while soaking in the hot spring. If you are going to be in the area or even remotely close, please make a stop here. You will not regret it.

和大自然融合的露天風呂

環境優美寧靜，酒店自成一角，私隱度極高，無阻擋露天風呂和大自然融合，非常舒適。男女混合溫泉給女士一條圍巾，另外有2個私人溫泉可供預約，令我們一家三口可以一同享受溫泉樂，十分貼心。很喜歡這裡，一定會再來。
