箱根湯本駅から徒歩10〜15分ほどで、どこへ行くにも便利です。ただ急坂を上がるので、大きい荷物がある方は、バスがいいかもしれません。私は毎日、散歩がてら徒歩で行き来しました。
温泉にも入れます。シャワー室も複数あり利用したいときにすぐ使えました。
何よりスタッフの方がとても親切で気さくな方が多く、居心地よく過ごせました。今度また箱根に行くときには、ぜひ利用したいです。

Staffs are friendly, room is clear. There isn't any restaurants near the by so I felt a little bit inconvenience to go out for dinner at night.

アットホームな空間でした

家族3人で利用しました。
お部屋は広く、窓も広いので解放感がありとてもリラックス出来ました。
お部屋に冷蔵庫やテレビはないものの、1階には大きなリビング・キッチンがあり調味料や食器なども自由に使えたのでとても快適でした。
また、スタッフの方も親切で良い旅になりました。

お部屋のタイプを理解せずに予約してしまい、ちょっと無理かな？と思いましたが、
割り切って利用してみたら、快適で楽しく過ごせました。どこも清潔で居心地よく、温泉も気持ち良かったです。コンビニで食料とお酒を買って食事をしましたが、近くの居酒屋にも行きました。そこも良いお店でした。

温泉があるゲストハウス

温泉は最高、こんな安さで

私は日系中国人です、ドライバー兼ガイドです、お客様は箱根のホテルに泊まり、私はこちらに泊まりました、温泉ついて、箱根では一番安いでは、、と思い、清潔でしたし、よく眠れました、また予約しました、駐車場もあるからね、助かります！

Wonderful place, Wonderful experience!

This wonderful hostel was a delightful surprise and the onsen really was an added bonus with its outer pool! With a bit of planning, you can take a local bus or use your Hakone Free Pass to be dropped off within a block of the hostel from the train station. Great staff, great accommodations and fully enjoyed my stay!

Very helpful staff. The place is located 20min walk from yumoto station. But the walk is very tiring as it is uphill. Bus access is not very good. The staff did help with reserving a cab. Everything else was amazing!

It's a great place to stay – with an outdoor and an indoor onsen! Completely traditional rooms with tamati, chabudai and futon. All rooms and of course the onsen chamber are clean – and the onsen itself is great. I loved spending a night in this property. Many thanks also to the friendly and helpful staff!

It's a great stay here, friendly staff service but a bit inconvenience as it's situated at hilly terrains, especially carrying large luggages uphill by walk on our arrival. The onzen, kitchen and pantry facilities was nice and convenient.

Beautiful scenery and view. The staff is lovely and the atmosphere with the other guests is great. The commune room has a beautiful antique wooden floor and views on the forest!
We stayed in a tatami room and it was clean and felt very homely.

K's was a very budget-friendly option for our family of four. It was a fun experience staying in the traditional Japanese room, but we did opt for an private bathroom. I didn't realise at the time of booking that the shower facilities were still shared, but this wasn't a problem (and even a bit quicker having 2 showers to use between us vs having one in our bathroom). Futons were fine to sleep on.
The view from the shared lounge area was gorgeous, and so were the surrounds. It is a little bit of a walk, and the hill is really steep, so catch the bus if you can! This was really the only downside of the property we thought - that it is a moderate way out of town, so make use of the property's free umbrella loan if you might be trekking back in the rain!!
We didn't use the onsen, unfortunately, so I can't add anything further on that. It was lovely to be able to grab a brewed coffee during the morning (0730-100, I think, but I don't know why you would still be inside at 1100 rather than getting out to experience the stunning Hakone area!).

Used the hot spring for 10 mins , Got 7 places bitten by mosquitoes … the hot spring smell weird . The hotel toilet smells bad . It’s too old and did not properly maintain

Nice staff, clean and have free green tea and coffee. However there is no private bathroom in our room. The property is up the hill and very difficult to walk up with luggage. The bus runs every half hour from 7:30-8:00 am and then every hour after that. You have to call taxi after dinner near station.

하코네유모토 역에서 도보 20분, K버스는 시간을 잘 맞춰야함. 시설은 청결, 스탭은 친절, 주방/다이닝룸 잘 관리, 노천온천은 1개뿐이라서 남녀 이용시간이 달랐음. 아침엔 온천이용 불가, 대신 샤워실만 이용 가능, 샤워실도 1인 룸이라서 좋았음.

Very nice hostel for families. Beautiful surroundings, quiet, clean, well supplied kitchen and nice common areas. The staff were very pleasant and helpful snd we enjoyed using the onsen. It’s a bit off the beaten path so be ready to walk or take transportation to get to restaurants and sightseeing locations.

Fantastic Stay

We loved our 2 night stay. Our ensuite room was clean, quiet and very comfortable in an excellent location. We really liked the Japanese feel with the mats on the floor and the roll out futon. Both inside and outside onsens were fantastic and a perfect temperature. The freshly made coffee in the mornings were really appreciated. Staff were very friendly, efficient and really helpful. Thank you.

The receptionist are nice and helpful, if you need any travel and transport information please don't hesitate to ask help from them. The outdoor onsen was nice and relaxing . For those person who decide to walk there from hakone yumoto station ,think again cause that place are not so far but you might need to pass by the slope road to get there.

Excellent customer service

It was very clean and nice stay for two nights.
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
One Restaurant with in a minute walking or several nearby station. I would stay again if I visit Hakone.

A great retreat

Great stay! It has both indoor and outdoor onsen. A short walk to bus station, very convenient with Hakone pass to go around. Staff were very patient and helped us arrange the trip. Only wish we could stay longer!

Hakone stay

It’s can get a bit of rowdy when you see too many people in the pantry, its convenience though where you can cook or heat up the food you have. Fridge is centralised for all to use. Just that it’s located up on the hill and when it’s raining, be prepared to get drenched when you are walking to Hakone Yumoto station.

The best hostel with an onsen! Super clean, well kept, and friendly staff. The outdoor onsen was the best day to end the night. I would definitely come back to stay here again. The distance from the station to the hostel was a bit steep of a walk but provides good exercise. Super close to the bus stops as well.

A great stopover for visiting the Hakone Area, a quick bus ride from Bus stop 4 takes you there within 10 minutes, and there's a shortcut back to Hakone Yuumoto Station for hikers which makes it a convenient place to stay,

Be careful

We really wanted to like this place, but got all bitten by bedbugs. This was our first encounter with bedbugs. We saw a tiny bug on our mattress crawling, didn't think much of it due to it's tiny size. Looks like a tiny stink bug, and was very hard to kill the bug. When finally squished, it smelled like stinkbug. Our daughter got bit the worst, and the itch lasted for 2-3 weeks and still have scars after 2 months. Location is a little far from the train station. The rooms were good size, nice view. Nice bath area

Dispone de dos Onsen, uno exterior y otro interior, el exterior es muy agradable. Hay un camino con escaleras desde el cual, en 15 minutos estas en la estacion de Hakone.

Pretty Hostel for sure in a nice environment.
But the pods are too small for tall people, the beds could be made for that price... what you pay more than other hostels if for having the onsen.

It's a little far away from Hakone-Yumoto Station but there's a bus stop nearby that takes you there. Overall it was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even spoke English which was an added bonus.

We really liked that place! Nice lounge, nice onsen, nice kitchen and nice dorm/bed. Also, the place was extremely clean, I don't think I have ever been in an hostel that clean. The place is a little bit out of center from Yumoto but there is a bus line just in front of the hostel. Really nice location if you intend to visit the Hakone region. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel tout simplement parfait, l'ambiance est top et elle est guarantie par un personnel à l'écoute et enthousiaste. Les équipements à disposition sont utiles, et rendent la vie plus facile durant le séjour.

Has two hot springs on site. A long way to walk from the train station. If you have luggages, I suggest you take bus or taxi. You need to bring some food to the hostel.

we loved this hostel! was the best place we slept in our trip (and we also went to far more expensive hotels). Does not matter if it's a top of a hill and you have to walk a bit to get there. It's super nice, super friendly, the Onsen is peaceful and you have pine trees above you, in front of the hostel there is a nice old style restaurant, with local food. It's overall one of my fondest memories of japan.

This is a great base for exploring the Hakone area. Town and Station are a short walk or basket trip away. Recommend on arrival getting us as it is all up hill.

Great stay

Good base for exploring Hakone. Close to a bus stop with regular service to Ashi-no-ko. Friendly service, immaculate hostel and great kitchen and communal areas. Outdoor onsen was great - an unexpected surprise!

Faut marcher un peu pr trouver l’hôtel mais ce n’est pas grave l’hôtel est super beau tranquillité garanties super vu sur les montagnes un onsen intérieur comme extérieur au top !
