大人数での宿泊だったのですが和室に布団をひいて寝るスタイル！みんな大満足でした。

気さくな方で、気兼ねなく施設を利用できました。

部屋にはこたつも暖房もあり、暖かく過ごせました。
お風呂もサービスなのか24時間使用可能で
とても快適でした。

写真よりも少し古い感じはしましたが、
ビリヤードも使えて子供達は初体験で楽しんでおりました。

部屋が広く快適だった。寒い時期でこたつが部屋で使えたのも良かった。唯一トイレが部屋に付いていなかったのが残念。ホテルの自転車を無料で使えたのも良かった。　ホストの方達がとても親切で気持ちの良い滞在だった。

シンプルステイ

シンプルだけど、気配りを感じる施設でした。スタッフさんの温かみを感じます。
窓からの景色はそれ程でもないけど、一歩外に出れば、山中湖と富士山が見通せる環境。
通りから少し奥まった所にあるので、静かな環境。

初めに期待せず それが当たり前と思う事の大切さ

元大手企業の保養所を改修したペンション。清潔感のある広い空間と、窓から見える緑の景色は、快適過ごさせてくれる。ただ、難点を言えば 以下の三つ。1.入り口がわかりにくい。もっと看板をわかりやすくすべき。高いところにはっきりと。2.設備面。トイレにスリッパが無い。お風呂は大きな浴槽が有るのにシャワーだけ。テレビは無い。冷蔵庫も無い。お茶セットも部屋にはついてない。もちろんお布団は自分で上げ下げする。3.管理人さんは とても人の良い方なのですが、あまりにもべったり張り付かれると ちょっと疲れてしまうかな・・・情報が多いのは有難いのですが、有る程度 距離をおいてもらうと 良いと思います。お値段がお値段なので 仕方ないとしても、客の7割が外人さん と言っていたので、ベッドの人は 多分布団の敷き方がわからないのでは？とよけいな心配までしてしまう。

安い素泊まり朝食付き

観光地の素泊まりには便利です。夕食や風呂は外で済ませることが苦にならないならお勧めします。入り口がちょっとわかりにくい。支配人はこちらに移住されて、今は結構地元の有名人のようです。

スタッフの方が観光やスポットを丁寧に案内！なかなか良いです

連休中でしたがリーズナブルな価格で、写真で見る以上に部屋は清潔、きれいです。到着時は湖畔の道路からの入る道に迷うので看板注視が必要。夜の食事は外出して取ることとなりますが、スタッフの方に丁寧に周辺のレストランを案内頂きました。ソーセージ／シチューのとてもおいしい店紹介頂き堪能！ホテル内ではシャワーとなりますが、赤富士の湯の割引チケットを購入して露天風呂にてゆっくり過ごしました。

Peaceful and relaxing

Loved the stay at Kounso. The room was spacious and had extra bedding that could be used to fit your preference. Each room gets to reserve a time for the large bathrooms. Absolutely loved the cypress bath, it was perfect after a long day. Chose not to use the room heater because of the kerosene smell. Instead, the kotatsu table was plenty warm for this time of year. The location was very close to plenty of food and lake adventures. The owner was very helpful and friendly, even towards my limited Japanese speaking. Will definitely return.

Such a great place to stay, genuinely Japanese with an onsen, a very good breakfast, with bikes to lend, in a very quiet neighbourhood.
The owner is extremely friendly and made us feel at home.
We were very happy with the bikes and made short tours in the neighbourhood. You get there great views of Fuji.

Small Place with Big Heart

Great location, very near Lake Yamanaka.
We had the hotel all to ourselves, but the owners made sure we were looked after very well, making great efforts to get the bath ready for us.
The garden autumn colours were radiant and playing pool in the lobby with my son and wife was priceless!

Wonderful Little Experience

Very nice little tucked away guesthouse. The couple that run it are very friendly and helpful. They literally contacted me five minutes after booking to explain how to find them and check in. It's very clean and up kept. Will definitely book again in the future!

It was an excellent choice to experience a Japanese ryokan. Specially considering the price. Very traditional and an amazing service.

Pleasant guesthouse near lake and restaurants

This is a very pleasant and spotlessly clean guesthouse set back from the lake (and the main road around it) along an alley. My room backed onto a forest and was very pleasant.

A good western style cooked breakfast is available; order the day before. There are several good restaurants back on the lakeside within easy walking distance.

A good place for a weekend in the countryside

Good service, spacious traditional room, a quiet area and a good break from Tokyo. Close to bus stop, restaurants and close to boardwalk by the lake.
A nice breakfast available (800 yen).

民宿就在離湖畔約50米的地方，食肆也已是走約1KM就到，十分方便。 負責的太太很好人，她還準備了翻譯器解答我們的問題，她還推薦我們去看當晚的花火及附近出名的餐廳。 睡房整潔，有獨立廁所，沐浴則需用公眾浴室。房太太還教我們鋪榻榻米，很好的體驗。 唯一要留意的是，所有客房均在一樓，住客需自行搬運行李上房間，沒有地梯喎！

Traditional Japanese Experience

If you would like to experience true Japanese sleeping, this is the place. As Westerners we felt the bedding was hard but it was great to experience it. Lovely staff and beautiful location to view Mt Fuji. Approx. 10 minutes walk to shops and restaurants.

Great Little Place

This is quite a little gem if you are looking for a traditional Japanese style hotel, run by a very friendly and welcoming lady. The building itself is a little older, but they have kept it clean and bright and the rooms are plain but comfortable. The service is amazing; the lady went out and got beer for us! The breakfast was fine, with fruit, salad, toast, eggs, yoghurt and juice, tea and coffee. Wifi worked well. Overall value is very good.

Very traditional Japanese house conveniently located in town

We really enjoyed this place the host was amazing and very gracious. He spent time telling us where to go and also showwd us the closer way to Mt. FUJI and no need to pay the 2,000 yen. There was plenty of parking and the building was very quiet. The breakfast was quite a spread. Initially a bit difficult to locate but if you see the Dog Cafe you are close just down the road a bit. Look for small sign on the right.

這間酒店位於山中湖，寧靜休閒，是一間傳統的日式民宿。民宿內擺放了很多山中湖旅遊的資料和景點，方便旅客取閱。民宿主人很友善，我們遇疑難時，他都樂意解答。民宿設施雖然有點舊，但整體潔淨，住得舒適。早餐時段，民宿主人細心招待，難得的是，有自助早餐提供，雖然款式不多，但總可吃過滿足。這是一間值得推薦的民宿

Monte Fuji de perto em Yamanakako

O Sr Hasegawa e esposa são uns amores. No café da manhã eles cuidam da gente como se fosse nossos pais. Nos deixou muito a vontade. Me senti em casa. Ficamos dois dias hospedados lá e no segundo dia o sr Hasegawa nos disse que veríamos o monte Fuji mesmo amanhecendo com tempo chuvoso e neblina. Realmente conseguimos ver uma parte do monte Fuji . Yamanakako é o melhor lugar pra se visualizar de perto o monte Fuji. O lugar é muito tranquilo. No meu caso tive dificuldades de dormir no futon, pois era duro pra mim, e portanto senti dores no corpo, mas a acolhida do casal foi tão maravilhosa que compensou isso. Adoramos ter ficado lá. Muito obrigada sr e senhora Hasegawa.

Japans bästa hotell

Jag har rest runt i Japan i en månad och detta var det trevligaste hotellet jag bodde på. Väldigt fint hus och japanskt inrett rum. Gratis bra frukost och trevlig personal. Hotellet är beläget precis brevid buss och bra restauranger samt en stor sjö, men det är en bit in till Fuji station.

Nice Place

The owner of the hotel was very kind in providing information about how to get to tourist attractions around the area.

Kounso is literally a minutes walk from Lake Yamanakako. It is also very close to a bus stop which is good for those who do not have a car.

The room was very clean and the sleeping mats very comfortable.

Very nice hotel for a short Japanese experience

The hospitality was very nice, they have waited for us, explained about the rooms and facility.
The room was very clean Japanese style.
Breakfast was minimal but good enough for us.
They have shared bathroom with private restroom in the room.
Washing machine and dryer and basically all that you need for a short stay in the area.
Their is a nice pool table in the reception.
They also had parking close bye which was very handy.
Unfortunately the onsen (Japanese bath is not working). There was no view on mount Fuji or the lake (at least from our room)
Still the service was excelent and the kids enjoyed sleeping with us in the Japanese way.

Best hotel to stay for Fuji Mt and 5 lakes

It was wonderful experience. Hotel manager Hasegawa-san and his wife are great!!! They really made us feel like at home. The location was great, it is by the larger lake and you can see Fuji Mt. just outside the hotel. Easy bus access and to other popular sites.

Breakfast was not fancy at all; but I had to ask for more miso soup - it was the best I ever had!

3 ans d'essais pour voir le Fuji majestueux

Accueil formidable. Le patron est "aux petits soins" et toujours prêt à renseigner et aider pour profiter au maximum du lieu près du mythique Fuji. Deux jours pour tenter de le voir avec les fleurs du printemps en premier plan mais malheureusement pas encore ouvertes.
Par chance, le matin de notre départ vers 6h, alors qu'une brume épaisse envahit tout le paysage, le soleil s'est levé en faisant disparaître ce voile. Le Fuji est alors apparu de façon majestueuse sans un nuage: un enchantement inoubliable car 3h plus tard il avait retrouvé son manteau nuageux habituel. C'était la troisième visite au Japon en 4 ans donc ne désespérez jamais!
