建物が古いのは仕方ないが、メンテナンスもオペレーションも改善余地が多い 食事（バイキング）の質、種類は低価格なりで、満足度はかなり低い 食事会場の皿の多くが洗い残しあり、食事する前から食欲を無くすだろう 宿泊料金を安く設定してるとしても（3連休で高かったが）、お金を取ってサービスを提供する最低限のレベルを下回っていると感じた 温泉の泉質はいいかもしれないが、脱衣場は汚い 扇風機のカバーに蓄積したホコリに経営者の考え方が表れている気がした 値段で選ぶとしても心の準備は必要

お部屋が9階で景色は良く、川の流れに癒されました。そのおかげでお部屋の天井のクモの巣と冷蔵庫の後ろに見えてしまう埃も、スルーできました。設備全体は古くても、明るさと清潔感がもっとあれば良いと思いました。

予約する際の紹介ページはツインベッドだったが、当日平野に入ったらベッドではなく布団でした。畳の上の布団だと身体に合わないのでほとんど眠れず寝不足になって帰りました。ベッドでなければ宿泊予約しなかったので返金して欲しい。

年季が入っているので外観や内装は古いのですが、逆に昭和っぽさを感じられ私は好きでした。
温泉も貸し切りの露天風呂は予約が全然とれませんでしたが、大浴場も良かったです。
スタッフの方が優しい方が多く満足しました。
朝食もコロナ対策をしており、ビニール手袋を配布されて良かったです。
宿泊利用者に売店で使える500円クーポンを頂けたり、ポイントカードにポイント頂けたり満足しました。
また次回も利用したいと思いました。

安かろう悪かろう。

古いし汚い。フロントのトイレに便が付いておりトイレットペーパーはゼロ。ゴミ箱も満杯。
古くてもゴミや掃除をキチンとして清潔であれば気持ちいいが、、、
バス送迎が付いてるのは良かった。
バス送迎付きで、この金額なら、まあ仕方ないか、と言う感じ。
窓からの眺望は良かった。

一回行けば十分かな

草津温泉の翌日に行ったこともあり、周辺施設が何もないのが寂しく感じました。食事時間も早めに始まり時間制限もあるので、泊まるには問題ありませんが、食事を楽しんでゆっくりということにはならないと思います。浴衣はロビーで、腰紐は部屋、バスタオルはレンタル、部屋の電気のリモコンは電池切れ岩風呂は浸かるだけと不便なこともありました。吊り橋や鬼怒川ライン下りは近くてよかったです。

外国人とご高齢の方が多いホテル

二度と泊まらないと思います。安かろう悪かろう、という感じでした。食事はオマケという感じです。和室なのにベッドが入っていて、お布団でごろごろしたかったのに、残念。コンビニに近かったのと、川沿いのロケーションはよかったです。大浴場の排水溝からの臭いに耐えられませんでした。お部屋の洗面の排水管からの臭いも・・・。カーペットに焼けこげあとがあるのに、禁煙でした。

Good hotel

Hotel is old but good. Dinner and breakfast were not bad. Onsen is nice. Used a reservation private bath at the evening (ask at front desk for this service) and had a great experience of taking onsen at open air.
The leisure activity adviced by hotel was great - visiting Kamakura snow houses at Taira House located in the snow area about 30 km from hotel with free transportation.
Very reasonable price for hotel including food and all amenities.
Can advice for travels who wants to have a reasonable trip and stay at Nikko.

川のすぐそばのホテル

部屋からベランダに出られるので目の前にある川を眺めたり、夜は星が見えて良かった。
食堂と同じ階の部屋だったせいか食器を片づけていると思われる音が部屋までよく聞こえた。

申し訳ありませんが今までで最悪の施設でした！

１．宿泊人数変更の際、変更した人数に過金された。（申告により訂正）
＜３階３１０号室＞
２．部屋風呂・・浴槽内がザラザラし、ほこりもあり掃除がされていない様子。
　　シャワーを使用しようとしたが、ホースの付け根と取っ手が裂けていて、周りに飛散し使えなかった。
３．トイレ・・旧式トイレを改造したものと思うが、旧便器は水が流れるが、後付け便座は水も出ず、使う気にな　　らず、５階フロントを使用した。（座ると頭がドアーにぶつかる）
４・バイキングを楽しみにしていたが、率直においしいと言えるものはなかった。特に夜。ほとんどの料理（冷凍　　食品と思われる）が冷たかった。
＊ご年配、外国人が多かったが、もう少し配慮をお願いしたい。

あの値段であのコスパは最高。食事はまぁ妥当という感じだったが、景色も良いし露天風呂は貸し切れるしとコスパは最高だった。機会があればまた、是非行きたいと思う。

Excellent vintage onsen hotel

Excellent value for money but definitely not for those expecting luxury. Very friendly and helpful staff, although interiors are weary , it is interesting to experience authentic retro Japanese onsen experience. Scheduled circuit bus to hotel for nominal fee but fine by foot about 10 minute walk, 15 with luggage. Gorgeous and up close view of the river. My 2nd stay, will stay again. Beware cash only if not prepaid.

雰囲気はとても良かったです！が、トイレのドアが開かずやらのトラブルが多々あり、残念でした。融通の聞いた点、温泉のよさなど良い点もありましたが、この金額では少々高いかなと。

懐かしい雰囲気漂うホテル

比較的リーズナブルでご飯付きだったので、こちらに泊まりました。
修学旅行を思い出す懐かしい感じのホテルでした。
予約制で貸切露天風呂も利用させていただき、大満足です。
バスタオルは有料での貸し出しでちょっと残念でした。

不好的住宿體驗

會選擇這間溫泉飯店就是想吃它的自助式晚餐，結果晚上因為觀光區交通車的問題，推算無法趕上晚餐時段，便去電飯店協調飯店留二份晚餐，結果飯店回覆不願意幫我們留晚餐，要我們自己去便利商店買，服務態度超差一點也不推薦

性價比不錯

性價比算係唔錯, 酒店lobby很大而其中有部量血壓機免費使用這點有些意外, 可能因為較多長者入住關係 另外一邊仲有小型遊戲機失和唱卡拉ok的房間, 溫泉方便有點奇怪室內大浴場設在2樓，而露天風呂就設在1樓，他們內部是不相通的， 另外仲有兩間貸切風呂。 食物方便質素普通啦選擇不多沒有酒精類飲品。 步行大約五分鐘有一間便利店， 如果架車的話建議去大約車程五分鐘的超市關門時間為晚上9點值得推介。

Mixed feelings: Awesome location and value, but...

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The price was awesome, and the location was absolutely superb. I stayed in a traditional tatami room for one night. The hotel is all non-smoking now, but it must have been a smoking hotel for decades because the smell of cigarettes permeated the room. In fact, when I left and arrived at my next hotel, I realized my pajamas and towel had absorbed the smell of smoke. That was a huge downside. Also, you have to bring your own towel or rent one from the front desk. There were no amenities in the bathroom other than a bar of soap and toilet paper. My room was next to the karaoke room, and I could hear people singing from my room. (I slept with earplugs.)

I was very unhappy about the smell of decades of cigarettes, but aside from that, there were so many things I liked about this hotel. The location was incredible! My room had a gorgeous view of the river. The walk from the hotel to the suspension bridge that spans the river was one of the highlights of my trip. I had the fortune to be here during peak autumn colors, and the evening and morning of my stay here were incredibly happy times. You can see the river (and fall colors!) from the onsen. The onsen was great, and it had great amenities. (It made sense there were no shower amenities in the room, because why use the room shower when there's an onsen?)

The free breakfast added to the value, and I enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were kind. Ultimately, I don't regret my stay here.

Unique location for a good price

A unique choice for holidaying in Kinugawa-Onsen or Nikko. Buffet meals included, club nights, and early morning tannoy announcements in the bedrooms make for quite an odd mixture of experiences. Balcony views over the river are AMAZING but the town doesn’t have much to do unless you have access to a car. I am writing from the position of a non-Japanese speaker which I imagine had an effect on the possibilities, so I’m sure there are more opportunities that we missed and would’ve made this a great hotel. It’s relatively cheap for what you get, and it also has a really great series of public and private onsens on the bottom floor which overlook the scenery that are really special.

Old Japanese style hotel,

The hotel is very old with Japanese style and will not provide much as others. There are no traveler gift, no coffee cup, uncleanliness, no free wi-fi in the room provided only at the lobby, this is so unconvenient. The good things are all the staff willing to service you with a smiling face. I had canceled the reservation for 1 nights, they are fair enough to let me do that by charging a little for such night.

Mit sozialistischem Scharm.

Zu Fuss ca. 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof Kanugawa Onsen entfernt. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und hat überwiegend ältere Bustouristen die eine Nacht bleiben.
Zum dolmetschen an der Rezeption wurde der ceylonesische Boy aus der Küche geholt. Versprochen war die Zimmerreinigung alle zwei Tage, bei 4 Übernachtungen erfolgte aber keine.
Schöne Lage am Fluß. Das Hotel hat drei verschiedene Onsen: 2 kleine Private, eines im Außenbeteich und eines drinnen.

Nice View from Balcony

This hotel is very old property thus morden and confortable features were obviously missing. Room were ok and had items must for the overnight stay but could be managed better. Toilets were not good, there was fouling smell from toilet and my son refused to use and I had to take him to nearby convenient store.
Property is on remote location so going with own car is good choice as there are limited public transportation.
But we enjoyed the nomi and tabehodai arranged by hotel. I think that was the bonis point which is missing in all other hotels.

Really happy with my stay!

This hotel is on the older side. However, the rooms are clean and the view is to die for. It says in the description that the bathrooms are communal, but there is a bathroom in every room if you need, as well as communal onsen bathing. They had three onsens, one private and two public. The onsens were fantastic. I was surprised at how huge this hotel is and how many facilities they have. It was heaps of fun staying here. I didn't realize when I booked, but both breakfast and dinner buffets were included in the price, which was very reasonable even without meals. They also have a variety show on nearby, which is free if you are staying at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with all the inclusions and very much enjoyed my pampered stay here.
